Cloned animals and their offspring should not be farmed for food according to the overwhelming majority of consumers, an EU study has revealed.
Most Britons, like their counterparts in the rest of Europe, would object to clone farming.

The issue has leapt on to the public agenda after the Daily Mail revealed that eight cattle, the offspring of a prize-winning clone milking cow in the USA, had been born on UK farms.
Currently, there are no laws to prevent meat and milk from these animals going into the food chain. Nor is there any legal requirement to label food from clone offspring.
The EU and Britain’s Food Standards Agency(FSA) are in the throes of deciding how clone farming should be policed.
A new survey of 25,000 consumers across the EU makes clear families are unhappy at this new era of ‘Frankenstein Food’ farming.
The European Commission study found 87per cent of people in the UK – 84per cent in Europe – believe we don’t know enough about the long-term health and safety effects of eating food from these animals.
The findings of the study triggered demands from animal welfare groups for the EU to impose a ban on clone farming and the imports of clone animal food from the USA and beyond.
They pointed to alarming levels of animal suffering. Many clone animals die in the womb or soon after from painful organ failure and deformities.

Marie, cloned food is ate all over the world. Please study GMO’s and cloned food to understand that its not just cloned animals, but they clone vegetables and fruit as well.
Even if you try to eat healthy you are going to get sick from the foods we eat.
GMO’s must be stopped worldwide. Maybe if people weren’t so materialistic we wouldn’t be in this position. Why do I work at my job selling wine cellars?? I should be a farmer! Everyone should farm there own food, its not hard, and we can all do it. There is no need for cloning food and ruining our future.

I think Marie meant letting the shadow people eat cloned food and not us. Had to read it twice to I guess but yes ts no secret and the FDA does not have to label what is cloned either. it’s whats causing these pop ups of diseases in so many people because they had all this takeout back in the 70’s 60’s 50’s the numbers of people getting all these diseases wasn’t this high at all

Put them out of business. If we dont eat it, they will go under. Spend some time researching other means of getting your food. There are private farmers that will sell you organic beef, chickens, etc. Its all a matter of priority. We can sit around and complain about it, or we can do something about it. Grow your own vegetables from heirloom seeds. Even apartment dwellers can. There are many good resources for setting up an indoor garden, and for small yards, look into square foot gardening. We really do have the power. We just need to get our priorities straight. Learn to barter if money is scarce.
It is a whole way of thinking outside the box they are trying to put us in. Crawl out of the box!

I’ve been a vegetarian for over 1 year now, and i feel great. You all should try it, it is the way to go. Why make your stomach a grave yard for animals?? Cloning should be only one reason to quit, there are many. Just to name a few, to get out the the cage and be self efficient, health reasons (you can eliminate sickness by not eating all the additives and fake/hormone pumped meats thats) and most importantly we need to put them out of business. If we grow our own food we sure as hell won’t need their supermarkets and won’t be trapped by all the BS they are cooking up now days. Cloning cows is just plain wrong, that playing the God game and I’m sure thats against his rules. My next step is growing my own veggies & fruits.

And this is how people are gonna have mutations later down the road in the generations… hello maybe, X-Men can become a reality… My husband has GERD and he has be careful what he eats… I just recently found out that beef and milk is not intended for humans to eat… that red meat just sits in your stomach and rots. Our body was not designed to consume beef, it can’t process it and it just sits their in your colon and small intestines, not good for your health.. I guess that’s why people get Colon Cancer and shiz… Anyhoo.. my husband and I went vegan for a few months and although we had to go back to regular food, he actually gained weight and we felt better than ever. We felt more focused and energized. Keep in mind my husband is a meat and potato guy and I helped him convert to veganism.. hehehe BTW Too much soy inhibits nutrient intake so watch out for that too~~~ ^_^

I’ve also begun eating less meat. I’ve only bought one pack of meat which should last 2 days for overall aprox. 15 days of food shopping.
It will also become a great exercise for handling the near future when food supply will be scarce and the police state takes over. I will soon buy a supply of white rice which can hold for ver long time.

Being a Vegetarian is far from the answer #21, Research how much GMO’s and their Byproducts (IE Corn syrup, corn starch, Soy oils, ETC.) are made and how they are directly/indirectly effecting the health of our young, all of us.
Please doubt my words enough to research them on your own; this will help shine a bright light on what “they” are doing. If we do not demand a law banning all GMO’s and their Byproducts, it will end life as we know it.
Cattle die of massive stomach lesions and infections after about 120 days once being put on a GM corn feed (90+% of all cattle in the USA are GM corn-fed).
The only way to make these cattle live even to this short span is to inject them with incredible amounts of antibiotics, so much “so”, that more than 70% of the worlds antibiotics are used to keep cattle alive and for this purpose, But even with this massive dosing of drugs will not stop the infections too much past 125 days. The cattle ranchers need to have the animals still healthy enough to move on their own to the slaughter, so they have the time all worked out.
The MASSIVE true numbers in new childhood cancers are suppressed by Monsanto who spends 10s of millions on stopping or suing any university/scientists from publishing any research that shows the true fact on GMO’s being directly linked to deaths, health, cancer in children or Bees disappearance.
GMO’s are manufactures by methods using deadly virus and antibiotic resistant bacteria to invade the plant gene/DNA. I will not go into the MRSA infections spreading through-out the globe because of Monsanto splicing antibiotic resistant bacteria as a marker gene in all their GMO’s which are being consumed by most living things right now.

This may sound like a stupid question..but ..
Is there anything wrong with the natural reproduction process animals have repeated for thousands upon thousands of years?

It is estimated that 60% of the average American diet is from GMO products..
I am growing my own from heirloom.. If I don’t live a day longer..I know where my food comes from.
As far as choosing to be a vegetarian.. ahve at it.. I choose a combination.. maybe not too much meat at times.. but a steak when I can afford it cooked at home..
I tend to avoid fast foods and resturants… They “process” food for consumption en masse for $$$$$
Nothing wrong with that for those who like it.. Just not for me except in a tight..which is rare…

yeah, i rarely eat meat. when i do though, usually at my boyfriends house, i’ll have steak or something like that, and it makes me feel kind of sick and weighed down. plus i have GERD too, so it doesn’t help that any.
i eat poultry and eggs, and i think ethically its okay, but not if they are the kind of mass produced chickens in cages only big enough to hold one. that’s cruel, seeing that is disgusting. i only buy free range organic.
the treatment of cows and pigs are absolutely horrible too. it literally makes me sick, and on top of that, the GMO’s in them and the nasty chemicals and hormones they pump them full of is just nasty. people need to be shown what they are eating, its horrible!! pretty soon though, i want to start growing all my own produce and keep chickens goats and bees.

I AM a tree-hugger, and vegeterian. Also, I only eat Organic food–it’sn common-sense. It has recently been confirmed by INDEPENDANT scientists (a rare breed), that GM Soya–and ALL it’s extracts, like Soy Sauce, etc, are so full of chemichals, some untested, that it causes infertility in men. Just like the Yankee- owned ” Chiquita” bananas that they grow in huge farms, (putting all small farmers out of work, and left to starve), in the Yankee-owned countries of South America. The chickens are coming home to roost there, though! So , as about 90% of Soya in the U.S is GM, and almost All non-Organic bananas–you’re being poisoned, like the slave-labour workers. BIG IS NOT BEAUTIFUL! Especially when it comes to farming. And quantity is no contest when it comes to quality- and in the Capitalist system, half is destroyed, to keep prices high and claim fat govt. subsidies–these Fat-Cat farmers can’t lose, peddling the Neo-Con poisons! What a team!
