CNN Propaganda Segment on Oath Keepers Demonizes Fall of the Republic

In a CNN segment airing today, Jim Acosta assures us there are no FEMA detention camps and Obama will not take away the guns of law-abiding Americans.
CNN continues its well-oiled propaganda campaign against the patriot movement with a segment on the Oath Keepers. CNN’s Jim Acosta profiles the organization’s founder, Stewart Rhodes, nearly a month after MSNBC attack dog Chris Matthews had him on his show and attempted to portray the Oath Keepers as a radical organization of crazed radicals that poses a threat to the nation.
Acosta is somewhat more gentle in his presentation, but the message is analogous to the one presented by Matthews — Rhodes and the Oath Keepers are dangerous, particularly in regard to U.S. military personnel. The CNN segment cites the Department of Homeland Security’s report on supposed “rightwing extremism” warning that veterans and active duty soldiers may fall under the sway of white supremacists — who we are told hate Obama because of his skin color — and dangerous anti-government militants.
In order to drive home the looming threat of the Oath Keepers, the CNN piece contains an interview with Mark Potok, propaganda minister of the Southern Poverty Law Center. Potok, who habitually makes the rounds on MSNBC and CNN, tells Acosta the Oath Keepers are “exploiting false rumors found on fringe websites” such as Infowars and Prison Planet (although Acosta and Potok do not mention Alex Jones’ flagship websites by name).
Acosta, however, does mention Alex Jones’ latest documentary, Fall of the Republic, which he characterizes as an “anti-Obama” film. In fact, Fall of the Republic downplays the importance of Barack Obama and documents his role as a front-man for the global elite and the bankster cartel. Acosta and CNN attempt to forge a link between Fall of the Republic and the Oath Keepers promise to obey and protect the Constitution, not a particular president.

At the end of the segment, CNN tells us there is “no proof” of detention camps or a plan by the government to outlaw weapons.
As Infowars and Prison Planet have documented on numerous occasions, there is indeed evidence of government detention camps. Legislation currently working through Congress mandates the establishment of “national emergency centers” to be located on military installations. As Steve Waston noted in March, the purpose of such facilities is to provide “temporary housing, medical, and humanitarian assistance to individuals and families dislocated due to an emergency or major disaster,” the expansion of which under FEMA is codified under HR 645, otherwise known as the National Emergency Centers Act.
In 2006, the Army Corps of Engineers awarded a contract worth up to $385 million to build “temporary immigration detention centers” to Kellogg Brown & Root, a Halliburton subsidiary. The camps were built for the Department of Homeland Security.
“The real agenda, just as it is with Halliburton’s gulags, [under the government's Rex 84 and numerous other programs is] to use the cover of rounding up immigrants and illegal aliens as a smokescreen for targeting political dissidents. From 1967 to 1971 the FBI kept a list of persons to be rounded up as subversive, dubbed the ‘ADEX’ list,” writes Watson. The ADEX list no longer exists — in recent years, it was replaced by a sprawling terrorist database that contains the names of well over a million Americans.

The laws are designed and intended to lead to the complete ban and confiscation of all firearms,” explains Real Conservatives. The decision, announced in a statement released by the U.S. State Department, overturns the position of the Bush administration, which had opposed such a treaty on the grounds that national controls were better, according to Reuters.
In November of 2008, before Obama was selected, Infowars documented his long history of opposition to the Second Amendment. Obama was on the board of the anti-gun Joyce Foundation, the largest funding source for radical anti-gun groups in the country. In 1996, he supported a ban on the manufacture, sale and possession of handguns. He proposed a 500 percent increase in the excise taxes on firearms and ammunition. In 2003, Obama voted in support of legislation that would have banned privately owned hunting shotguns, target rifles and black powder rifles in Illinois. In 2004, he voted against legislation intended to protect homeowners from prosecution in cases where they used a firearm to halt a home invasion.
Earlier today, Alex Jones and Paul Joseph Watson wrote about an ADL campaign to demonize Jones and portray him as a menace. “The tone of the ADL’s hit piece basically implies that Alex Jones and his ilk are such a threat to the establishment that they should be removed from society, which ironically is exactly how Hitler dealt with his political enemies in Nazi Germany. The ADL is allegorically pinning a yellow star on ‘conspiracy theorists,’ Oath Keepers, Tea Party protesters, and anyone else who dares express dissent in response to the financial looting of the country or Barack Obama’s big government agenda,” Jones and Watson wrote.
CNN and MSNBC, in league with the government, are determined to wipe out or at best hobble the patriot movement through mischaracterization, innuendo, and outright lies. CNN’s “series” on the “militia movement” — and the Oath Keepers is not a militia, as Rhodes noted — is only an opening chapter in the frontal assault of the elite’s ongoing war against truth and the First Amendment.

I am filled with the spirit of truth and logic and justice. yes God is my spirit helper. If you are not blinded by their BS then it is a choice to condemn this movement which includes the Oath Keepers. And someday even though you dissed them they may save your @ss. We all have a choice and here on this forum is our chance to voice the side we are on. I have a relationship with God but I don’t cram it down anybody else conscience. I only speak of what is right and wrong because of the discernment God has granted me because I keep seeking it. That is what Alex does. Sure he has to be dramatic to get through some thick skulls. That is his personality mine is not so dramatic. I am not a speaker I am a writer. Face to face I would probably turn to mush. To do the right thing in this world is a struggle and the closer we get to this climactic end the harder that will be. It takes practice so stop being a negative force. And whats up with the oathkeepers guy saying there is no evidence of camps or martial law plans? That makes it seem to the idiots out there like there really are none. I guess its good that Fall of the Republic got mentioned, and I knew they would try to play the race card. Even if they said race wasn’t a factor, they still brought it up which gets into people’s minds anyway. Sometimes things like this make me wonder though, if this isn’t controlled opposition in some way, why would they risk exposing something like alex jones movie or oathkeepers if it would draw attention and more ppl might see it. I don’t disagree, but you can’t deny the intentional use of someone who didn’t look clean cut to make the oathkeepers associated with that kind of image. Image is everything in this society, and like you said a clean cut image would be good to have associated with this. I’m sure there were plenty of clean shaven and nicely dressed people there but the media chose not to show them for a reason. Its using images to control opinion.

There is a maxim that is useful in this situation. Any publicity is good publicity. Can you imagine how many people inquire when a hit piece is produced by the MSM? That whole deal a while back about the militias caused the CNN phone lines to be plugged up with people calling for information on how to contact the malitia groups they were demonizing. Can someone please give me a location of these FEMA camps…I want a 100% verifiable location. I will drive to anywhere on the EAST…Don’t just give me a name of a military base…I asked this once before and I was given a list of bases, and the Amtrak train yard that weird lady once posted on youtube…AJ give me one location, it’s too easy to name a base…you might as well say inside of Ft. Knox.

Things I should have learned in school
I believe I should have been taught what I now consider to be the most important lessons in life, the knowledge of what my rights are, and how to use the Law to retain them. Beginning in 10th grade in civics, it should be emphasized over and over what the meaning of the Constitution of the United States is. What the founding fathers labored over when putting each and every word in and the effect of those words upon every man and woman in this country. With a firm understanding of what our inalienable rights are, we could go forth and make something fruitful happen for both our communities and ourselves. Rights can’t be taxed. If they could then they would be privileges and not rights and could be controlled thru taxation. There will always be those who would abuse others to benefit themselves. The only thing stopping this abuse from happening is our refusal to allow it. A little play-acting in school would quickly bring home this aspect of real life. When a bully threatens you, to get you to give up your lunch money, [it] will continue forever and may even become more severe, until we fight back.
Every tribe of humans develops rules of society for the benefit of the tribe’s survival. Not adhering to those rules has consequences. We can think of these rules as Laws. The 10 commandments are just such ‘laws’. Today, things are vastly different to life thousands of years ago, yet there are many of the same issues also. When the bible decries the villainy of the “money changer” who shaved the gold coins for gain, or used rigged scales, we can see it is still the same.
The general rights we have, as listed in the Constitutions of the United States and the several States can be circumvented by specific actions we engage in. If you sign a contract that allows your boss to look at your computer files at home, that contract has more authority than the “general” right to privacy outlined in the 4th amendment. Lawyers have sought to take advantage of this aspect of ‘contractual agreements’ to deceive us into giving our rights away. Why does any contract need to be more than 1 page long and in type no smaller than 10point? If the law made all contracts void, for not fitting those guidelines it would eliminate a great many evils. The next point I would have wished to have been taught at school is that my signature on contracts can be very detrimental to my future and should not be taken lightly. I have the right to redact (cross out) any statements on the contract that I don’t like. The issuer can retract and not offer the contract but can’t make me sign to anything not in my best interests. And lastly, to very easily and simply protect my rights all I have to do is put the words “without prejudice” or “all rights reserved” or “under duress” above my signature and it will retain all my rights. Now, under duress and coercion is saying someone had undo pressure on me to sign, so I like “without prejudice”. Next, if you sign a legal document and you put [By:] to the left of your name it separates you from any liability created in the above document.
Now let’s look at how the average man is ensnared without realizing it in today’s society. And let’s note that we are talking about a ’society’ we never joined, the Law Society. First, we are born. Yes that’s right, our parent sign a document called the “birth” certificate as an ‘informant’ (look on your certificate of live birth) and your footprint is placed on the back. Without your consent you were entered into the ’system’ where the Government could start to borrow money against your future earnings based on this document. The submission (to submit) of an [application] (in Blacks law dictionary this means “to beg”) for a marriage license (a privilege granted by the STATE) gives the state the superior title to your marriage and likewise, the results of your union (children). What on earth do we receive as a benefit for getting this “license” to wed? Why not just have a service with your preacher swearing (and signing) a contract between you and your love that accomplishes the same thing and then have the wife change her name (you don’t have to legally do anything but start calling yourself the new name) and voila!, your married. This would keep Child Protective Services from being able to ‘take’ your property (your child). Next up we decide that since every boss needs a social security card number so we go ahead and get one of those even though it’s supposedly not required (that is what the law says-NO REQUIREMENT). When we do, we again are in the ‘system’. Then we submit (sumission) an application (to beg) for a ‘drivers license’ because we are told by everyone that it is illegal to drive without one. Well interestingly, we are never told that the C1 (commercial) license is only required if you are engaged in commerce on the road. Why is it we have ‘passengers’ in our car? think of trains, planes, and ships- they have passengers, passengers PAY to be hauled around. We have ‘guests’ in our car (not motor vehicle) they don’t pay us thus we aren’t using our car in a ‘commercial’ capacity. If you are being paid to ‘drive’ then you ARE required to have a C1 or 2 or 3 license, (because congress can regulate interstate commerce) but if you aren’t you don’t need one. Once again we submit an application for a vehicle “registration” wherein we are not told by the STATE (a corporation Doing Business As….) they will now have superior title to the vehicle we PAID FOR. If you don’t believe it then explain why the STATE has the right to take our property without due process (a court decision) for expired registration tags or a DUI ticket? One can only take what one owns, and they own it because we “voluntarily” gave it to them. The same goes for your real estate holdings. Remember when we talked about not taxing rights? In the California constitution of 1879, article 1, section 1: “All people are by nature free and independent and have inalienable rights. Among these are enjoying and defending life and liberty, acquiring, possessing, and protecting property, and pursuing and obtaining safety, happiness, and privacy.” Now why are there property taxes if owning property is a right? If we owned it in allodial status which can be done if we get a ‘land patent’ on it, then we would be immune from property taxes. Has anyone ever told us about this? Isn’t it the job of the government to tell us what are options are? Even though the government is supposedly the servants of the Sovereign people they act like we are their servants instead. How about this: “It is the public policy of this state that public agencies exist to aid in the conduct of the people’s business….The people of this state do not yield their sovereignty to the agencies which serve them.” California Government Code, Section 11120. I am from germany and watched the video “Fall of the Republic”. I find it 100% ok what the “Oathkeepers” say. HOW can anybody say he would obey any command by a man, may he be president or whoever? I say that the constitutional rights of a human being are far more important than any command of ANY person. If a leader of a country violates the constitution THE PEOPLE gave themselves, he is a threat to democracy and must be removed by whatever means.

Where in the f%$# was all this when Bush was sending everyone to Afghanistan and Iraq? Where were the oath keepers during the secret bombing of Cambodia? Or at the My Lai massacre? Sounds to me CNN got it right. It’s just a bunch of paranoid nutbags armed to the gills complaining over stupid s--- because they just don’t like Obama. I’d have way more respect for this if they started up when Reagan was in office.
And why is it everyone is so afraid of the government? The corporations and landlords really have all the control. They even come up with all the creepy technology way before the government even knows what’s happening. Remember Able Danger? That really came from a data mining company that collected all kinds of information on people and when the government saw what it could do they adopted it. But the corporations came up with it first. Same thing with the implantable chip. VeriChip trades on NASDAQ. It has nothing to do with the government. Look at all the stupid television shows on TV training your mind to buy more crap you don’t need and actually controlling what goes on TV. The BBC has way cooler shows than the US because in the UK the government has some control. They can even say f*&% on TV. Unlike the US where it’s just what the market dictates. So you get The Wheel of Fortune, Jessica Simpson, 24, Survivor and American Idol.
Of course people are fed up and they don’t like the way this country is going. And that’s because we’re the retards of the world. This country is filled with idiots and the Oath Keepers are a great example.
So the Oath Keepers recruit people from the military and the police. Here’s an idea. Just quit your job. It’s a free world. You can work where ever you want. But you CHOOSE to be a police officer or in the military because you’re drunk with power and you love guns. Well tough s---. You signed up for it. You’re cashing the government checks. STFU or quit. Do something constructive for once in your life. Help out at a soup kitchen or work at a hospital. Organize a labor union or join a monastery. Work for peace and you’ll find justice. The world will always be screwed up. You just have to choose if your going to try and change it with violence or with love. You don’t need and oath for that.

Jesse Jackson as saying “We even have blacks voting against [HR 3962]” and “You can’t be a black man and vote against healthcare.” Today the establishment came out in full force saying from multiple sources that opposing Obama is racist and that we should all put up and shut up. All movements begin somewhere, I don’t know the history of the Oathkeepers, for now just the idea of it is a good thing to me, might make law enforcement hesitate a little before wronging people. The more MSM exposure, the better. People will see it on TV, then go to the internet for more, and many will ultimately wake up. For those that won’t, nothing lost, they’ll go along with everything their told anyway.

I like Alex, but he does not do all of this solely because he loves you and America. The truth might be disappointing to some and expected to others. In the end I’m not sure if it will really matters. I listen to his show pretty much every day, I’ve seen all of his videos and I’ve learned a lot. I estimate that there are approximately 200 MILLION witnesses to this event IN AMERICA that watched as Obama butchered his Oath and NEVER COMPLETED this Oath IN PUBLIC and it is only CLAIMED that he was allowed to complete this Oath of Office in the basement of the White House with a VERY LIMITED amount of people that supposedly witnessed him actually complete his Official Oath of Office, which makes his Presidency NULL & VOID, he CANNOT FULFILL his oath because HE NEVER TOOK AN OATH!
This is EASILY PROVED with the amount of witnesses to this Illegal Presidency, which gives this case Credibility, Standing and more than sufficient amount of witnesses to make a VERY SUCCESSFUL case against this ILLEGAL PRESIDENT.
Currently, there is ZERO PROOF that Obama completed his Oath which may be why he does absolutely NOTHING to benefit THE PEOPLE and EVERYTHING to benefit THE BANKS & THE CORPORATIONS.

I think people might be confused. a us citizen is a federal officer, Executive orders and such only apply to federal employees. I saw the form 1040 in an irs catalog and said for federal officers only. how often are we told every year to fill out the 1040? are we inhabiting the office of person? office of citizen? all contracts gov uses against us are based on presumptions and presumptions are not evidence. easily rebutted. back in 1933 only federal officers were required to turn in their gold, but people were deceived into beleiving it applied to them by using the term us citizen.
also when the president of US Corp takes an oath to the united states constitution I believe they have a different constitution, one of a corporation not republic constitution. they are guilty of fraudelent concealment, forced contracting, and the like, they are taking advantage of people’s lack of understanding of what is really going on. they are guilty of hypocrisy as well. they have taken the common man’s language and changed defintions into legal terms in order to trick, deceive etc us into contracting with them and putting ourselves under the fed jurisdiction.
get a good law dictionary, and read the statutes or code of your state and read all defintions given and you will see what I mean. don’t let the government errr us corporation prod you all into violence against them, that is what they need to justify martial after all their jurisdiciton only applies to federal officers, and not all americans check that box in the 1040 declaring themselves as such. read the defintion of firearms and you will see it only applies to a few so called guns and never call the ones you have firearms but rather call them peacemakers or peice or even great equalizer to avoid the legal defintions. a full blown war in this country is what they need to justify a full takeover without freedom to opt out of contracting with said corporation calling it self the united states, see the article on team law the organic act of 1870 I believe that is the date not sure.

So wait a minute.. So if we are to just go by this very JADED report than we would have to say that the Oath Keepers are just taking a PREEMPTIVE stance to make sure to protect the Constitution, which is NO different than our very own governments claims of GOING TO WAR on a “PREEMPTIVE BASIS”.

I do not wish to get into a discussion on what I am about to tell you guys, so research yourselves, because in the months I have been frequenting this site, all I see are a bunch of people trying to make like they know more about what is going on then anyone else. Trust me there are people who do not know a thing about the constitution. They act as though they do which leads to them looking like ignoramus’ in a “true” debate. What I want to say is: Look into William Cooper (B.C.) He wrote a book “Behold a Pale Horse.” If one does research they will find that AJ had known William Cooper early on in the 90’s early Millennium. AJ claims to have read his book on an interview with Bill Cooper saying it was a fantastic read and very informative blah blah blah. Well a time after this interview I believe there were only 1 or 2 instances of them speaking with each other. AJ must have been asked a question by a listener about Bill Cooper later after Bill Cooper had been killed. AJ attacked the listener and was attacking Bill Cooper from the grave. Before this another listener called out AJ on his 9/11 prediction accredited it to Bill Cooper and AJ was name calling B.C. for this reason saying he was insulting him and using foul language. If you do research there is no such interview between the two where B.C. was out of place or w/e. Now A.J. says he did not fully read BEHOLD A PALE HORSE, because B.C. got into Extra- Terrestrial life and U.F.O.’s etc…. (AJ lied there.) So nothing but scorn from AJ to B.C. Bill Cooper was killed 1 month after 9/11. for “failure to pay his income tax” Sheriff’s Dept. came to his house and were about to arrest him when he was said to have “went for a gun” and the sheriff’s and deputies open fired killing him. We have about four in my state and also many military bases that were closed but still have people there!

While Jones is more widely known for the extreme libertarian views he espouses on his daily radio show, many of those involved in 9/11 truth consider him to be one of the movement’s most important advocates.
One might argue that if Alex Jones promotes 9/11 truth that the benefit of the exposure he is able to achieve outweighs the potential negative effect his other interests might have on the movement. Many argue that ‘all press is good press.’ However, in the case of Alex Jones, not only does this appear to be a foolish assumption, but his promotion of the ‘birther’ issue stands in stark contrast to the founding principles of 9/11 truth movement.
We have clearly seen in the past that Alex Jones is used by the mainstream media to undermine the movement, most recently when he was identified as being a potential influence on the Pittsburgh police shooter. One might argue that the movement gets this kind of treatment all the time, and yet you don’t see less ideological figures like Richard Gage, for instance, being tied to violence or extremism. It is certainly what Alex Jones advocates that makes him, and by association the 9/11 truth movement, a victim of such negative publicity.
In the case of his support for the ‘birther’ issue we should identify an even more obvious problem. As it is clear that the issue is based in fallacy, how are we to take seriously Alex Jones’ commitment to truth. Central to the credibility of the 9/11 truth movement is a strict adherence to the promotion of well founded, factual information. We make room for speculation within the realm of research. But prominent movement news is factual news. In contrast, we see here Alex Jones promoting an outright fallacy.
The 9/11 truth movement is a non-partisan effort. There should be no intent to restrict participation based on valid and tolerant political viewpoints. The problem with Alex Jones is certainly not his advocacy of libertarian values. However, it is absolutely antithetical to the core principles and integrity of the 9/11 truth movement to consider anyone promoting fallacy to be a leader. Many have expressed very strong concerns about the impact of Alex Jones on the movement. We can now add the promotion of blatant fallacy to that list.
For that reason I strongly encourage anyone concerned about this, supports and detractors alike, to seriously consider the role Alex Jones is playing in the movement at present, the impact his actions are having, and how we might, at the very least, encourage him to stick to the facts. And if he refuses to do so, we should consider distancing ourselves and our 9/11 related projects from him and his media.

There is nothing wrong with American’s taking or re-taking an oath to the constitution, to protect American “In the event” that things in this country go wrong like say, the possibility of the collapse of the dollar, unemployment that might reach 15% or more, foreclosure reaching double digit in each state. The police and all law enforcement will up hold the law, but will not shoot, unconstitutionally detain american citizens without due process. The people that make comments regarding the “Oath Keepers” are planting seeds in peoples mind should look in the mirror since they themselves are planting seeds, they are suggesting that this is will bring out ever crack pot out there, well at least we can find them instead of them hidding in the shadows. Just think about how many people that shows up to these meeting thinking radical views, they can be found and the people could be protected, that’s a good thing. Law Enforcement don’t have anything to fear, right? There following the laws and should feel confident that real Americans that have sworn to protect the Constitution can be counted on to help when the time comes.

I just felt like I needed to share this with everyone. I tried to twitter it and get it out there to people before the stimulus was passed, but I didn’t know about this sight and many others so I didn’t get very far. I have heard about a new stimulus though so maybe we could share this with them now before we drive ourselves deeper.

I’m against the $85,000,000,000.00 bailout of AIG.
Instead, I’m in favor of giving $85,000,000,000 to America in a We Deserve It Dividend.
To make the math simple, let’s assume there are 200,000,000 bonafide U.S. Citizens 18+.
Our population is about 301,000,000 +/- counting every man, woman and child. So 200,000,000 might be a fair stab at adults 18 and up..
So divide 200 million adults 18+ into $85 billion that equals $425,000.00.
My plan is to give $425,000 to every person 18+ as a We Deserve It Dividend.
Of course, it would NOT be tax free.
So let’s assume a tax rate of 30%.
Every individual 18+ has to pay $127,500.00 in taxes.
That sends $25,500,000,000 right back to Uncle Sam.
But it means that every adult 18+ has $297,500.00 in their pocket.
A husband and wife has $595,000.00
What would you do with $297,500.00 to $595,000.00 in your family?
Pay off your mortgage – housing crisis solved.
Repay college loans – what a great boost to new grads
Put away money for college – it’ll be there
Save in a bank – create money to loan to entrepreneurs.
Buy a new car – create jobs
Invest in the market – capital drives growth
Pay for your parent’s medical insurance – health care improves
Enable Deadbeat Dads to come clean – or else
Remember this is for every adult U S Citizen 18+ including the folks who lost their jobs at Lehman Brothers and every other company that is cutting back. And of course, for those serving in our Armed Forces.
If we’re going to re-distribute wealth let’s really do it…instead of trickling out a puny $1000.00 ( ‘vote buy’ ) economic incentive that is being proposed
by one of our candidates for President.
If we’re going to do an $850 billion bailout, let’s bail out every adult U S Citizen 18+!
As for AIG – liquidate it.
Sell off its parts.
Let American General go back to being American General.
Sell off the real estate.
Let the private sector bargain hunters cut it up and clean it up.
Here’s my rationale. We deserve it and AIG doesn’t.
Sure it’s a crazy idea that can ‘never work.’
But can you imagine the Coast-To-Coast Block Party!
How do you spell Economic Boom?
I trust my fellow adult Americans to know how to use the $85 Billion
We Deserve It Dividend more than I do the geniuses at AIG or in Washington DC
And remember, The Birk plan only really costs $59.5 Billion because $25.5 Billion is returned instantly in taxes to Uncle Sam.
Ahhh…I feel so much better getting that off my chest.
