Colonel Anderson Refutes False Allegations Against Dr. Ivins

Colonel Arthur Anderson is the chief of human use and ethics at the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID), the bioweapons facility where Dr. Ivins worked and where the anthrax strains were apparently obtained by the anthrax killer.
In that position, Colonel Anderson’s responsibilities include the following jobs:
"Conduct inquiries and investigations upon receipt of allegations of scientific misconduct or improper researcher behavior.

Prepare timely and intensive fact-finding reviews of minimal risk protocols that qualify for expedited review; … Advise senior officials in writing of the approvability of protocols, and addenda; … Conduct substantive continuing review of active protocols; … Investigate issues arising during conduct of studies"
Colonel Anderson is also a highly-respected scientist in his own right (a pathologist).
Anderson disputes two of the government allegations against Dr. Ivins.
First, he disputes the allegation that Ivins told no one that he had found anthrax in his lab for many months. Specifically, as reported in today’s Wall Street Journal:
"Col. Anderson says Dr. Ivins told him about the lapse in safety shortly after it occurred, contradicting Army findings in 2002 that Dr. Ivins had told no one."
Anderson’s role as the person in charge of "conduct[ing] inquiries and investigations upon receipt of allegations of scientific misconduct or improper researcher behavior" and of "investigat[ing] issues arising during conduct of studies" is therefore important. He was an appropriate person for Ivins to speak to about his anthrax tests (admittedly, protocol required Ivins to tell others as well; but the fact that Ivins told Anderson shows good faith and a lack of guilty conscience on Ivins’ part).
Second, Anderson says that social worker Jean Duley’s conduct was wholly inappropriate and lacked credibility. Anderson, as an ethics expert and someone who knew Ivins well, simply doesn’t buy Duley’s allegations.
Again, I don’t know whether Ivins is guilty or not. But the government’s allegations to date hold no water.

We’re supposed to believe the anthrax attacks were an inside job, but 9/11 wasn’t.
That (according to Sy Hersh) Cheney was presented with a false-flag plan to have Americans kill Americans to justify war with Iran, but not with Afghanistan & Iraq.
That (according to Suskind) the Bush administration forced CIA to create phony intel, but not to concoct the official 9/11 conspiracy theory.
That Saudi Muslims were evil enough and capable of carrying out 9/11, but the Bush/Cheney cabal isn’t.

Jack. At this point in time, it doesn’t mean much of a thing. Anyone can write a book in hindsight and try to excert it as a truth. I am 100% behind the Executive order given to attack Iraq and remove Saddam. Anyone who disagrees with this is unpatriotic and living in a fantazy world. Saddam Hussein (and his sons) were living human Weapons of Mass Destruction; they killed thousands of innocent lives and left their country in the brink of disaster. The United States HAD no alternative but to get involved one way or another. Can you believe that. I guess you got to do what you got to do. How slimy is that comment?

Most likely Ivins was suicided in a doomed attempt to cover up FBI incompetence and misdeeds.
The “social worker” Duley was obviously coopted to get Ivins admitted to a psychiatric facility where he could be easily eliminated. Duley in addition to being a willing tool of the FBI is also clearly mentally disturbed and/or retarded. See smokinggun.com to read her absurd claims. This miscreant even spells therapist as “theripist.”

Governments co-opt people to destroy the reputations of those it perceives as enemies. We’ve seen disgusting examples of this in Canada. It’s easy to do, as hundreds of thousands of people are ‘controlled’ through threats regarding career advancement, pensions, etc. The jerks who participate in this calumny are rewarded with payoffs and promotions, which in part explains why the management of the public service is so deplorable.
I hope that the undoubted lies being spread about Dr. Ivins will not register with decent persons. Don’t believe a bad word said about him. The source has no credibility.

Ya, enoch 7, that comment is downright depressing upon first reading it. The fact is though, there are always going to be some nutjobs who are holding on to their false logic. When the actual fact of the matter is that while Saddam killed thousands, we’ve killed TENS OF THOUSANDS if not hundreds of thousands and 4000+ of our own brave people, not to mention the 30,000 + wounded, many of whom are badly scarred for life. Did I mention the part about bankrupting the USA? Or weakening the US military to the point where it is vunerable to wars on other fronts? Clowns like that guy should be over there getting shot at himself. Not advocating that his countrymen go to their deaths in an utterly criminal war.

The minute I heard the propaganda on CBS evening news that this guy killed himself, I knew they killed him to freeze the trail. Years ago I wouldn’t have given it a second thought, but thanks to Alex and his insight, I now see the lies and propaganda everywhere I go. TV is 98% propaganda and spin and newspapers are around 100% spin.
With the latest news and updates, it looks like it’s getting harder to pass this guy off as the lone culprate. What are they going to do when they cant sell this guy anymore? There has to be a limit as to how many people they can keep killing.

Yeh i felt the same way. When I heard a high ranking person committed suicide for some BS, i thought this is such BS. I can’t help but see this crap now. They killed him. Just like that guys that committed suicide by shooting himself twice in the head. Just like the DC Madam. The suicide count is racking up. I think I took the wrong pill. Oh well, might as well fight the power!!!!

This man is a perfect victim of the military’s Deception Execution Cycle. Though we are also seeing what happens when people are aware and exposed to the cycle itself like posters on this site. What happens is you are immediately able to recognize it. That is disastrous to the government and military. One of the main points within the DEC is to “never lose the trust” of the story or the scam. They say once you do the scam is up regardless of how many people you kill or dis-inform.
Why was this man killed? He was killed because the military criminals are evolving and learning how better to deal quickly with issues. The main reason is because they have the help, collusion, and support of media in the US. They learned that they should have just “suicided” the first guy and this case would have ended years ago…never to be brought up again. By ending this now…a new administration doesn’t have to waste its time and energy learning anything new, like Cheney ordering the release personally, for example.
ps….under the DEC….you can see how the “information” is being brought up in stages to discredit and ridicule the deceased. Loner, depressed, mental health issues, wrote and email saying that Osama might have anthrax….boy this guy sounds guilty of something to me? All part of the Deception Execution Cycle used every day by the Bush family. Dead men never talk….enjoy.
