Counterculture great George Carlin passes away
Steve Watson /
Infowars.net | June 23, 2008
Grammy-winning American stand-up comedian, actor, author and anti-establishment icon George Carlin has passed away in LA aged 71.
Carlin died of heart failure after being admitted to St. John’s Health Center in Santa Monica on Sunday afternoon. The Comedian had a long history of heart trouble. His last performance was last weekend at the Orleans Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas.
Always outspoken and never a man to hide his opinions, Carlin most recently hit the headlines after speaking of his doubts about the official 9/11 story during an appearance at Borders bookstore in New York City last October, just a few blocks away from ground zero.
Asked what he thought of the 9/11 truth movement and how Bill Maher’s show was interrupted by truthers at the time, Carlin responded, "I always question the received reality."
"The consensus reality is often intentionally misleading," he added.
Asked if he would support a new investigation into 9/11, Carlin was skeptical, stating, "They don’t investigate themselves in this country – it would be a whitewash, it would be like the Kennedy thing, it would be like everything."
"The people who are in charge do what they want and they will always do what they want, power does what it wants to and I wouldn’t trust an investigation," Carlin concluded.
Watch the video.
Carlin created a storm in the seventies when his routine "Seven Words You Can Never Say On Television" initiated a regulatory battle which eventually went all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court.
After Carlin said all seven words at a show in Milwaukee in 1972, he was arrested on charges of disturbing the peace, freed on $150 bail and exonerated when a Wisconsin judge dismissed the case, saying it was indecent but citing free speech and the lack of any disturbance.
Carlin was described by Comedy Central as the second greatest stand-up comedian of all time behind Richard Prior and is famous for his scathing black humor directed at American culture and the political climate.
During a recent appearance on Keith Olbermann’s MSNBC show, Carlin said that America was "finished" because "no one questions things anymore" and that the population had been bought off by distractions, toys and gizmos.
Carlin will be sorely missed purely because he was one of a very rare breed, an entertainer who spoke a truth uninhibited by any desire for success, fame or need of corporate backing.
Watch a stand-up routine where Carlin slams the education system and talks about the true power system that controls America.

Masonic-Zionism, is the Red Dragon. (Masonry or
Freemasonry represent ‘government,’ while Zionism
represents money). This ‘association’ will be replaced by
a particular man, who is the devil incarnate. This man
remains hidden and in the background for the time being,
directing all opposition to God the Father, the God of all
Creation, as he tries to subject the whole world to his
diabolical government and money order. The present
system of world dominance by evil is most sinister to say
the least. The powers of evil are now in control of the
design, manufacturing, and distribution of weapons of
mass destruction and are so complete, that no nation upon
the earth at this time can oppose these evil powers. Today
this evil is government controlled by the angels of Satan,
tomorrow it will be Satan incarnate as stated above who
will be in control of this evil. These powers of evil
government control oil production, taxation of the
populace, and nations ‘right’ to exist, as long as those
nations submit to their particular form of ‘democracy.’ “I
heard, as it were a voice in the midst of the four living
creatures, saying: ‘Two pounds of wheat for a penny, and
thrice two pounds of barley for a penny, and see you hurt
not the wine and the oil.’”30 The penny is the smallest
denomination of money, and here it represents the poor in
their struggle to pay for the minimal goods necessary for
survival. The oil represents the power of control by evil,
and the wine represents the luxury which can only be
enjoyed by the money-powers. The evil powers forbid
anyone to tamper with their control and luxury. The entire
earth is slave to their system.

Had tickets to see him Aug. 16 in Vegas
June 24th, 2008 at 7:53 am
We’ve lost a great man.
I hope his death will bring more attention to his message.
June 24th, 2008 at 8:29 am
LOL at the idiots thinking he was offed by the CIA. He was 71 with a heart condition for Christ sake. This site cracks me up.
He was good in the 70’s, but never regained his relevance after that.
June 24th, 2008 at 8:57 am
CARLIN WAS RELEVANT UP UNTIL THE DAY HE DIED. As far as the CIA, who knows, HE DID SPEAK THE TRUTH, nothing is ever “impossible” in this land of evil and sleeping morons. BUT GEORGE CARLIN WAS RELEVANT UNTIL HE DIED AND WILL STILL BE RELEVANT FOR EONS TO COME!!! He was great in the 70’s and EVEN BETTER AFTER 9/11. I’d like to credit Alex Jones for keeping this site truely free, that even Agent Provacatouers and ILLUMINATI SUPPORTING MORONS get to voice (their??) opinions and support of their own destruction as well. You will be missed Mr. Carlin BUT NOT FORGOTTEN. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK INFOWARS. HUMANITY NEEDS YOU!
June 24th, 2008 at 9:56 am
Carlin was one of the last great comedians/satirists. We need more people to be brash and unafraid to say what they think.
As for his “relevance,” I could pull up any of his routines and it would still apply to our modern social paradigms…
GG, George Carlin.
June 24th, 2008 at 11:09 am
Carlin was very funny in the 70 s somehow he became anti God and on several occasions he Mock God. this is a terrible mis judgment Gal 6:7 Do not be deceived,God is not mocked ;for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. REV 20:15 And anyone not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
June 24th, 2008 at 11:33 am
What I love about all these idiots like Jingoistic is that they walk around this planet thinking that there not retarded, and yet they are. Ignorance is bliss, and you are walking proof. I seen Carlin at the Rosemont theatre a few years ago, and it was sold out. So much for your relevance theory.
This site cracks you up huh Fervor? I hope your ready for the new system turd. Now spread your cheeks, and cough.
June 24th, 2008 at 11:40 am
Carlin Rest in peace
June 24th, 2008 at 12:39 pm
David G, Carlin was “anti god” because he didn’t really believe in a deity. He was definitely anti-religion, as he was anti-brainwash.
June 24th, 2008 at 12:44 pm
i hate christians and whoever else believes in myths, carlin was a free mind in this world who questioned alot of bullshit. he did it with a free thinking mind and no strings attactched and people like this are philosophers, his insults to christianity are speechless and i understand why people who believe that shit get up and leave, they go to the show tide in ropes, those are the people who will be tossed in a lake of fire. The real truth of religeon is that it is the “fondation” of DUMBING DOWN SOCIETY..carlin would agree
RIP
June 24th, 2008 at 12:45 pm
I like like the teachings of Christ , but I do not like Christians. Christians are not like Christ at all.
What I loved the most about Carlin was that he spoke the truth. Carlin reached me in a way that no politician or preacher ever could. There will never be another Carlin. I will really miss this man. RIP George Carlin.
June 24th, 2008 at 12:57 pm
I got a rare opportunity to shake this mans hand and tell him he was my hero.
I was practically raised on a strict diet of George Carlin and Frank Zappa.
I’m glad he had a good run at least. In fact, he out lived them all!!!
Lenny Bruce, Bill Hicks, Sam Kenison, Andy Kaufman, Belushi, Hartman, Richard Pryor.
Thanks for all the good times sir, you will be missed.

fuck you jingy he was the bomb after the 70’s you jerk off
June 24th, 2008 at 1:27 pm
First Sidney Pollack, then Tim Russert, and now George Carlin. And that prick Dick Chenney is still alive!
God must be on vacation.
The world will miss you George. Thanks for all the laughs and the insights.
June 24th, 2008 at 1:28 pm
To me he is the greatest American comic that ever lived. Watching his videos on Youtube is how I discovered Ron Paul and that lead me to Alex Jones and this site. George, I will miss you very much.
June 24th, 2008 at 1:56 pm
yes greatest American Comic , Richard Prior was not that funny, George Carlin said more then Prior ever did… He was a brilliant man a comic genius he made me laugh and he did it so well
June 24th, 2008 at 2:30 pm
So…I think it needs to be asked…how long must we wait before some dutiful Infowarrior waltzes into this article to expose George Carlin as a Satanist/NWO Member/Bohemian Grove Member/Freemason/Molech Worshiper/Reptilian Alien/Zionist Jesuit?
Surely, someone out there must have a Youtube video that accuses him of being such, and as we all know that is all the evidence one needs to reach the logical conclusion here:
George Carlin is a disinfo cyborg that has been sent from the future to desensitize us all to the NWO. His failing heart was a ruse, he was really decommissioned because the NWO felt he had grown too old to appeal to the masses (he was artificially aged, of course, his true age is over 9000).
In all seriousness, I have been depressed since I heard the news. Like others have said, Carlin was more than just a stand-up comedian, and I don’t think I ever heard the man utter a single sentence I didn’t agree with. Carlin made fools of the establishment time and time again with his satire, and he did it in such a way that he did not inspire the hatred and scorn that tends to surround others who speak out…instead he made us laugh. The man was a genius, and from what I understand, a fine human being to boot.
June 24th, 2008 at 2:44 pm
GEORGE CARLIN IS UP THERE WITH BILL HICKS 2 PEOPLE WHO GOT THERE POINT ACROSS THROUGH LAUGHTER.
A SAD LOSS TO US ALL
June 24th, 2008 at 2:49 pm
He had plenty of money to infuse himself with nutrients and keep his heart strong.Did he not have the will?Nutrition is fundamental. What do yall think?
June 24th, 2008 at 4:17 pm
Caleb you moron he was 71. Do you think you’ll look that good at 71 or even be alive? People die its part of life eatting right does not make you immortal.
June 24th, 2008 at 4:52 pm
George Carlin R.I.P. (If that’s what You Want.)
Using Humor, Wit and a varied measure of Sarcasm, Not since Will Rogers or Mark Twain has the power of Truth entered the frequently empty heads of men.
June 24th, 2008 at 5:42 pm
Some of his stuff was funny, but his whole Zeitgeist Aethiest anti-Christ crap was anything but funny and someone should ahve questioned him on that whole thing.
June 24th, 2008 at 5:56 pm
THE GOV. HAD HIM TAKEN CARE OF!!
June 24th, 2008 at 6:56 pm
Completely TRUE. With humor, but conviction it is simply what most cannot handle. The reality that their little comfortable ignorance is nothing more than being lazy, too lazy to seek the truth. Carlin will be missed.
June 24th, 2008 at 10:04 pm
George Carlin is dead. That totally sucks. Now, all we have to fall back on is Jello Biafra. That totally sucks.
June 24th, 2008 at 11:14 pm
Makes you wonder if the ELITE had George Carlin offed because he showed no respect to them and they taught the local law enforcement how to handle the ones that don’t behave themselves.
June 24th, 2008 at 11:47 pm
Is that you John Wayne?
June 25th, 2008 at 2:01 am
R.I.P. George. Thanks for the laughs… and the truth, you will be greatly missed.
The two big mistakes were the belief in a sky god — that there’s a man in the sky with 10 things he doesn’t want you to do and you’ll burn for a long time if you do them — and private property, which I think is at the core of our failure as a species. That’s the source of my indignations, my dissatisfactions, however it comes out on the stage. I feel betrayed by the people I’m part of, these creatures, these magnificent creatures.
– George Carlin, Orange County Register, March 1997
June 25th, 2008 at 8:16 am
#32 JOE “his whole Zeitgeist Aethiest anti-Christ crap was anything but funny and someone should ahve questioned him on that whole thing.”
Well, zeitgeist just used his speech, he didn’t give them any permission, they just took in under ‘fair use’. I do wonder from your comment, are you religious? To me his rants on religion are not an issue, but I have nothing to lose, being an agnostic (almost atheist) myself.
That’s one of the key points about true free speech though, and one of the great things, sometimes it will make some people uncomfortable when people say what they really think. Him saying “Religion is bogus” or such is not really any different to saying “911 was an inside job”, both will make some crowds uneasy, but we should always have the right to say them if we wish.
June 25th, 2008 at 11:44 am
wow. spine tingling. a closed mind is the hardest thing to open.
June 25th, 2008 at 12:39 pm
Ahhh…George Carlin, the 2nd greatest comedian of our time. Even though he had no belief in God or religion, he still had that God-instilled awareness to realize that something major was askew not only in America, but the entire world. Shalom.
June 25th, 2008 at 5:30 pm
knowing there is no god and seeing religion as a mind control scam is what helped Carlin have the awareness to see something askew those who believe in god and religion still think all is well and going according to “gods”plan. scheech your alarm clock is ringing quit hitting the snooze button and wake up.
were gonna miss ya George all the rest are just imposters.
“when your born you get a ticket to the freak show, when your born in America you get a front row seat”

Why does Alex totally side step the Vatican..check out Vatican Assassins website and have your eyes opened to who really wants to destroy America and control it…all roads lead to Rome.
June 25th, 2008 at 10:18 pm
Joe, #42- God gave us free will to choose between good and evil. God also gave an example for good, and that we should strive for it, resist evil. As a true believer nobody should be content with how things are now- so if anyone, those who have a set of moral standards based on the divine example, know what is wrong and don’t feel well about it. It’s one thing to have faith in God, but another to be complacent. Someone who is aware of that also knows the simple fact that unless the political leaders seek answers in God with humility, they follow their selfish motives, and so the situation is as it is now. We know the war is about oil, that innocents are dying because of the greed of others, and it’s not good, because God declared greed a sin. Being a true believer means having faith in God and obeying His laws, but it doesn’t equal bowing down to whatever may come and not doing anything, because that imo would mean the same as accepting evil instead of good. How do you define what is good and evil without God? Who tells you that? The justice system? How do the judges know? Having faith in something that transcends the human limitations isn’t such a bad thing. Id say politicians who agree with a war that is clearly motivated by greed are a bigger problem.
I can see it’s harder to find a true christian in the USA now, as the churches who truly follow God’s example are fewer and fewer. Maybe that’s why this disregard against all faithful.
June 25th, 2008 at 11:31 pm
George Carlin is one of my heros and has been since I was a child. Absolute genius and a master sociologist. The world will never be the same.
“Anybody can have bad breath Mardge, but you could knock a buzzard off a shit-wagon”
Geroge Carlin
June 25th, 2008 at 11:43 pm
I am just reading all of the comments and people REALLY LOVE jesus and God and all. I totally approve and agree with Mr. arlin on everything he says and I believe in God. I belive in reincarnation, evolution, and creation. I also believe that Nephalim and annuanqi helped create humans. I affirm that homo erectus, homo sapien and other “homo” species lived co currently, and dwelled and mated amongst one another and were eventually culled and killed off by one domineering species, much like the gorilla murders.
The truth is that all george was trying to address, is that when obsessive ideas rule your thinking and your life, it is fanaticism. Some people are “christian” and some are “born again”. Anyone that believes would be born again, so why the added distinction? We must let go of extreme ideas.
for example: For us to continually believe “I am a sinner” is blasphamy. If we truly believe in god, god forgives sins, then we are no longer a sinner. There is no need to become defensive about faith if you are truly faithful
Best Wishes

Carlin was a cold, unfeeling asshole. Why aggrandize anything about him?
June 26th, 2008 at 3:08 am
To Todd X,post #41:
George Carlin wasn’t funny, he was bitter and sarcastic. And he shouldn’t get credit as a major truther. He hated eveyrone. He put everyone down as if he were above it all. He wasn’t. No more
than asshole Don Rickles.
Comedians are sick and twisted self-loathing people who don’t quite make the grade. They are dark, disturbed people, where every joke is “tradgedy with a happy ending.” And all of us who laugh at darkness are just as twisted.
June 26th, 2008 at 3:25 am
Carlin didn’t speak the “truth”. He spoke the put-down. He was NOT a “hero”. He was merely a
comedian. And he took his professional edges against everyone, every type, as if he were above
it all, and all of you. Why do you worship such an asshole?
June 26th, 2008 at 3:59 am
It sounds like the only asshole here is you Linda. A dumb one at that. You say “Carlin didn’t speak the truth”? To prove you’re a complete moron, why don’t you download the video given on this thread where he talks about our educational system and the power structure in America. Nobody breaks it down better than Carlin. Before you make moronic comments on here again, know what the hell you’re talking about.
June 26th, 2008 at 6:39 am
to Linda: it seems that you are everything Carlin criticized, you sum it up all in one person, and that’s why you felt bitter when you heard him. He might have hit right on the spots, where your ignorance and stupidity, your emptiness and foulness, your bad behavior, your fake personality, where exposed, and I am sure your friends always thought about you every time Carlin made a comment about the negativities practiced in the society. You should appreciate a Man like him, for telling you what you couldn’t see in your mirrors, or what your friends did not have the courage to tell you. Thank him for his attempts to wake you up from your delusions, and his insistence on making People live in a more simpler way where no complications exist. You might find yourself more represented in the “Simpsons” where stupidity is rewarded, But not by a deep thinker outspoken person Like George Carlin.
June 26th, 2008 at 6:47 am
Carlin had a sketch where he makes a point by “talking about what we have in common instead of our differences”
he said somthing along the lines of all our attentions being diverted to race, religion, sexuality, gender etc, and we should look inward at what we share not what seperates us
I ask this, is this somthing a hater does? George had a very powerful way with his words and I hope people actualy listen to them, now he has died we have lost one person who stood infront of millions and told the truth, maybey he should have been a politician instead.
