Congressman Ron Paul lectures Bernanke on the flaws of the bailout plan and the hazard of the attempt to fix prices versus letting them correct naturally in the free market at the Congressional Hearing today (9/24/08). Ron also questions Bernanke’s authority and constitutionality of using the printing press to generate all this extra money needed for the bailout.

I think we should all be grateful that we have senators and congressmen like Ron Paul who are standing up to Bernanke. Just to show how corrupt things are, Last night Bush said that McCain and Obama are needed in washington to convince the senators and congressman to push the bill through. Wait just a second Bush, You mean to say that our only 2 possible future presidents are needed in washington to push something thats going to hurt our country through? Because thats why it hasnt gone through yet is because we still have decent people in the senate and congress. If it were up to Bush, McCain, Bernanke and Obama then the bill would have been passed and another one of our freedoms would have dissolved.

Is he on crack? Its a fundamental rule that if you create more money in an closed economic system its value decreases, hence inflation, and were talking on a huge scale here. Citing the Federal Reserve Act is these assholes favorite thing, and in fact it is the real issue here and they should probably be focusing more on that bastardized piece of legislation which is why we are in this freakin mess to begin with.
He may be right about on thing tho, there may be no need to monetize the bailout loans because the value the money is supposed to represent is something that never really existed in the first place. A CDO based on a derivative based on a sloppy sub prime mortgage is like trying to harvest the methane from my ass and then selling it back to the grid. Those banks should never expect to get their money back from such unstable business practices. Sorry, but we need to bite the bullet on this one and let prices and the economy adjust over time. I for one am very glad that Ron Paul is even on that committee. Great job on his behalf.

I attended a conference at Jekyll Island, the scene of the crime. Ron Paul was there and spoke to the group. Volcker was the Fed Chairman at the time. He describe things to us he cannot say in pubic because speaking the truth gets you marginalized. Dr. Paul has not changed his stance in the 20+ years I have been following his work.
He must tread carefully, like hunting deer, to archive his goal of a free United States. His work is paying off, after all these years, as more people have awakened than ever before.

You know, what they said on the Power Hour was really great: when you think about calling your congressman, you don’t have to do anything special. Just call and say “I am Congressman So-and-so’s constituent. I just wanted to call to ask you to please put me in the “against” pile for the bank bailout bill.” They’ll ask you for your address to verify you’re a constituent. It’s easy. It’s quick. It’s painless. And your congresspersons LOVE it. Why? It makes it really easy for them to get a feel for what their constituents want. The day they go to vote on something, they look at their “For” pile and count how many people are in it, and then they count the “Against” pile. Every other member of congress, except for Ron Paul, is in on the bail out. They are all in with the deal. They are going to protect their positions, families, and wealth. I would love to have the floor for just 5 minutes of that hearing. I’m sure there are better public speakers out there, but I think I can defend my position well enough (without cursing my heart out). We so called “conspiracy nuts” always get hammered in public debates because many are just not prepared or have little to no experience in debating. Unfortunately they would probably seek to discredit me by bringing up stupid irrelevant shit like how I like to smoke occasionally, or how Ive had sex with multiple women at the same time or some other crap.
It really is sad how critical thinking and debating are not concentrated subjects in school, and I don’t mean the 3 days they spend on it in Social Studies or English class where they cover fallacious reasoning which no one seems to remember. I have to hand it to them, it was a brilliant move infiltrating the educational system in this country where they now have complete oversight into the curriculum that is taught.

12-14 years ago a family member told me that a vast gold vein was discovered in the Yellowstone area. This find was so big it could have elevated the US economy to rival those of oil rich nations. I was told Clinton gave it to the UN. Does anyone out there know if this is true?

I think this Ben Burnanke guy has a little conscience. He doesn’t seem to be quite like the snakes of Jekel Island. He still sent up a smoke screen though. The part he left out was that the Fed manipulated the economy to cause the depression and then watched it crash.
They did this by making a casino out of the american economy. The world bankers lowered interest rates to suck people in to debt and then abrupty raised interest rates. Then they called in loans, among other things.
The tactics for world enslavement are a little more subtle now. They already have the United Nations world beast government set up. Now they want to give more control of the economy to the Fed and take it away from the people and their elected officials. It is fascist corporatism on a massive scale!
If a regular guy lent out silver dollars that were only 10 or 20% real silver to people and then charged them excessive interest on that money, you would think “What a snake!”. If he then insulted you by asking you to give some of your wages to insure the fony money he lent out, you would think “This guy aint right!”. That’s like the fractional reserve banking system. The Fed needs reform!

What Mr Barnacke didn’t mention was the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 was voted on before all of the legislators left Washington for Christmas Holiday,the vote was called and hence we were harnessed into servitude of the Federal Reserve.We must understand we can not let them get away with thievery anymore,I’ve contacted every senator and congressman in my state plus the President letting them know,we need to prosecute these people instead of further rewarding them with our money.The moneies would be far better spent repairing intrastructure here,we could also negotiate a rapid exist in iraq where they are calling for a timetable for withdrawal,futhermore we should close many overseas bases, we simply can not afford to police the world,first because it is unconstitutional and secondly, we should not be an imperialist nation.

Ron Paul’s jousting with Ben Bernanke – and formerly Alan Greenspan – is often fine theater. But I just wish- just once- Ron would go into one of those sessions not with a lengthy lecture / monologue leading up, after 4+ minutes- to a single question- but instead with a long list of simple, difficult questions and no preamble.
– Dr. Bernanke, to what extent is Congress contributing to currency problems by running large deficits?
– Dr. Bernanke, what is your opinion of the Austrian School of Economics?
– Dr. Bernanke, do you believe Alan Greenspan should be made to appear before the Banking Committee to answer questions as to his own contributions to the massive bubble in housing- a bubble which I repeatedly attempted, in committee meetings, to get him to stop inflating?
– Dr. Bernanke, if the Federal Reserve did not anticipate that the subprime crisis could ultimately threaten to plunge our economy into a potential crash and possible Depression, do you believe the American people should trust the Federal Reserve’s prescribed solution to the problems they admittedly did not foresee?
– Dr. Bernanke, would you support my initiative to introduce into the American financial system competing currencies, so that those Americans interested in transacting in a currency backed by a stable monetary unit would have an alternative to the US Dollar?
– Dr. Bernanke, would you commit before Congress to protect the US Dollar from any attempts to merge it into a future North American Currency Unit?
And so on. Bernanke should be forced to answer LOTS OF TOUGH QUESTIONS. But Ron uses too much of his time in preamble to allow for this to happen. Alex (or anyone reading this at Infowars) – please ask Dr. Paul to consider this strategy the next time he speaks before Bernanke- I think it could produce enormous returns to force Bernanke to answer many of these questions at once.

(John Laughland for RIA Novosti) – There used to be a habit of framing old Tsarist bonds and putting them on the wall. Lenin’s decision to renege on the Russian imperial debt meant that it became mere paper, interesting only as a historical relic.
In the light of the recent financial crisis in the USA, could the same thing happen now to the bonds issued by the American government, and could the country which has dominated the world for the last half century now enter history as a bankrupt state? And what can Russia do in the circumstances?
The decision by the US government to inject $700 billion into the financial system means that the already gigantic annual budget deficit of the American state (previously some $450 billion a year) will now rise by a factor of three. The total state debt of the USA will rise to well over $11 trillion. It is obvious that such a colossal debt can never be repaid. Instead, it will be serviced by more debt in the future. The contrast with Russia, which has painstakingly sanitised its state finances to the point that it now has more money to lend than the IMF, could hardly be greater.
The recent financial crisis itself grew out of this American culture of debt. To some extent, all countries share it: since 1914, all countries use paper currencies, i.e. debt instruments which are never redeemed. Whereas before the First World War, bank notes were essentially vouchers for specific amounts of gold cash, now the “promise to pay the bearer” (which remains inscribed on British bank notes) is in fact hollow.
In America, this basic culture of debt is aggravated by the fact that other countries use the dollar itself as a reserve. This means that the United States can export dollars in order to pay for its imports without the dollar losing value. Other states also need dollars to buy key commodities like oil. The USA can therefore export paper currency almost indefinitely – the famous “deficit without tears” analysed by the great French economist, Jacques Rueff. Naturally, if the state itself encourages such a culture of debt by issuing unredeemable paper currency to pay for imports, and by accumulating such mountains of debt, then it is no surprise if the American financial markets themselves operate on the same basis. But the collapse of those markets is only a symptom of a much deeper problem, the basic insolvency of the American state itself.
What can Russia do about this? At first sight, Russia’s role in the international financial system does not seem very large. However, as a major exporter of hydrocarbons, her role in the world economy is actually very important. As the age of the dollar draws to a close, Russia will have to consider selling her oil and gas not in the devalued American currency, but instead in the euro used by most of her customers. It is surely unnatural for two geographical neighbours to do such large volumes of business using the currency of a distant and now ailing nation.
Second, the Russian leaders might also consider making their own currency, the rouble, convertible into gold. The idea of gold convertible currencies is extremely unpopular among most economists: they dismiss gold as a “barbarous relic” (to use the famous phrase of John Maynard Keynes) and suggest either the present regime of paper currencies or, at best, a link to a basket of commodities.
Both these solutions are highly artificial and based on the same level of state control which has now just so spectacularly failed. Indeed, which is more “barbarous” – the reintroduction of gold as an instrument of payment, or the practice of amassing huge quantities of the precious metal to keep it locked underground in the vaults of central banks? The contempt of the Keynesians notwithstanding, it is an indisputable fact that gold does remain the ultimate store of value, which is precisely why states own so much of it.
Russia has less to fear than other countries from the introduction of a currency convertible into gold. Governments are typically hostile to gold because it reduces their discretionary power over the currency and the economy: they say that the money supply cannot be made dependent on the production of gold mines. In reality, this argument is bogus because the amount of mined gold already in existence vastly exceeds the yearly production, so mining does not in fact have an appreciable impact on supply. But, as it happens, Russia is a major producer of gold anyway and therefore to some extent controls production.
Secondly, Russia is vulnerable to her status as an exporter of primary materials – and as an exporter generally – especially in the age of inflation which is about to dawn. The more the Russian economy exports, the more her national paper currency will rise, making those exports more expensive. This is bad for an export-oriented economy. By contrast, the value of a gold rouble would depend not on the trade balance of the Russian economy at all, but instead simply on the price of gold itself which generally remains stable with relation to other commodities.
Russia has shown surprising success in putting an end to the unipolar world of which American strategists have dreamed now for over a decade. There are no permanent victories in diplomacy, however, but a shift in the structure of the world financial system would help to entrench recent gains.

Got space ships yet?
As a matter of fact they do.
Saw one one night silently floating over a Salem, Oregon neirborhood in kaiser hovering just 20 some feet and moving north and after 50 ft or so each light disappeared in sequence as if entering a wormhole.
It used meta-materials as the rest of the craft simply was not visble even with the equi-distantly spaced lights red green and blue.
This was in the early 90’s and I am not joking about this.
Those rat bastards are smug because they know they will win no matter what.

I later read somewhere that the lightbending properties may have cause the lights which would have actually been on top to appear from a side angle.
My cousin was with me to and I explained this to her needless to say she would back me up on it.
So while we are wallowing in depression these thieves are going to be sipping the finest vintages and slipping into wormholes for travel at their leisure.
I do not give a shit if they say they are not possible I know I what i saw.

I later learned that the lights could have been on top of the craft but visble due only to the light bending effect of such meta-material craft.
I know it slipped through a wormhole, and if it did not it had an AI controlling that light sequence as well as the propulsion and guidance.
Those punks who are running those shows know they will be safe in the worst case scenario either underground or safely in orbit somewhere.

As for the disappearing lights the AI did that or it was indeed a wormhole transit.

Was in the news yesterday but now has been deleted from many sites: China to halt lending to the US.
BEIJING, Sept 25 (Reuters) – Chinese regulators have told domestic banks to stop interbank lending to U.S. financial institutions to prevent possible losses during the financial crisis, the South China Morning Post reported on Thursday.
The Hong Kong newspaper cited unidentified industry sources as saying the instruction from the China Banking Regulatory Commission (CBRC) applied to interbank lending of all currencies to U.S. banks but not to banks from other countries.
“The decree appears to be Beijing’s first attempt to erect defences against the deepening U.S. financial meltdown after the mainland’s major lenders reported billions of U.S. dollars in exposure to the credit crisis,” the SCMP said.
A spokesman for the CBRC had no immediate comment. (Reporting by Alan Wheatley and Langi Chiang; editing by Ken Wills)

Make sure you have plenty of ammo and a military grade bullet proof vest…get with the 5 most trust worthy men that you know, and start practicing squad tactics with paintball guns. Make sure that you have a plan laid out that all men and their families with follow when the time comes. You will have to sacrifice anything that becomes neccessary to sacrifice. If your woman gets scared, your mom doesnt believe in it all, or your older brother thinks your crazy…theres no saving them. If they cant see it now and start mentally preparing themselves, than when the time comes they wont do anything but get you put in a detainment camp or killed! Its a cold harsh reality that we are all going to have to live with. Save yourselves because we true patriots are the only chance this country has for a future. In December, 1997, a massive craft was seen emerging from the sea next to an oil platform in the Gulf of Mexico. According to engineer Jeremy Packer, the sighting was witnessed by 250 oil rig workers.
At about 7:58 A.M., Packer said that everyone got frightened when they heard a rumbling noise that they knew couldn’t be the engines that ran the platform bore. Looking toward the west, they sighted twenty-five to thirty helicopters on maneuvers. This was not unusual, Packer said, except that the rig commander said that he had not received the usual alert regarding Coast Guard maneuvers.
Then, according to Packer, they all saw something that totally changed their lives. All of the helicopters stopped in midair and a huge metal cigar-shaped object about the size of the oil platform surfaced beneath them. The massive craft, about as long as two football fields, soared straight out of the water and into the air, where it hovered above the helicopters for about two minutes.
Packer described the object as concave on its underside with four large domes on its bottom. The topside of the cigar-shaped craft was encircled by beautiful lights of every color that one could imagine.
And then, as if someone had turned off a light switch, the giant craft had disappeared. One second everyone was studying the object through binoculars or telescopes, then, in the literal blink of an eye, it was gone.
As an interesting sidenote, Packer said that the crew noticed that their watches were 30 minutes later than the actual time when they got back to the mainland.

When price of gold which is based on the US dollar goes up, it is simple, the FReserve is creating money out of thin air. That means that inflation goes up, and for us more dollars are required to buy stuff. These elite bankers are out of control. We have to wake up the masses.

Remeber the Ross Perot infomercials? It gave him TONS of exposure. So, why can’t we do it? Even though the media whores will not give us equal time they will sell us time. ALEX, Let’s do this. WE NEED TO AWAKEN THE MASSES…
Just a few simple history lesson 5 minute infomercials on tons of cable channels. With info like: Federal Reserve facts and one or 2 more. Not too deep but enough for everone to shit little pebbles.
