Cleaver is currently circulating a “Dear Colleague” letter, seeking co-sponsors for House Concurrent Resolution 155, designating the day before Thanksgiving as the official “Complaint Free Wednesday.”

Hate to say it, but I agree 100%! We need to quit complaining & get up & do something about it! I plan on campaigning for my first time this year & ironically enough, I will be campaigning for whoever is running against Cleaver here in Missouri. He has gone out of his way to take part in this administrations goals. I plan on doing what I can to get him fired & replaced!! There’s was allot of support here in KCMO for Ron Paul during his ‘08 campaign for Pres. so I believe there are enough Libertarians/Republicans here to get Mr. Emanuel Cleaver out of office. Though his support was vital, he’s refused to support HR 1207 & that’s got him on allot of peoples radar, so I think his days in office are numbered.

And Who gave you the right to try and make a day that is free of Complaints??

I propose this:
A world wide sit in starting December 2, 2009, and continue as long as you can.
No BUYING/SELLING of any kind no watching T.V., no computers. I think it is important to say this no traveling of any kind as well, travel the day before if you need to go somewhere. I think it is important to shut it all down, the machine cannot continue with out all of US.

We are the ones that have every right to complain, and to hear you complain about us complaining is grounds for your dismissal from office…we give you your wealthy way of live and vote you into office…so why dont you start listening to what “we the people” have to say and fix the mess you corrupt “representatives” create.Then we wouldnt have much to complain about now would we.When the entire government system is broke and with our country in shambles you point the finger at us…do your job for once.

Didn’t something similiar occur in France..hmmm all the wealthy elites bothered by the peasants “complaints” I’m hungry, I’m poor, I’m homeless…blah blah blah… so one of them had this wonderful suggestion because obviously the poor and downtrodden only needed to think positively and invision better for themselves…like the elite did..Let them eat cake! Perhaps even a national cake day would have been the icing on the cake. It is so amazing to civilized people today why a remark such as that would spur on a revolution…hmmm let us all not whine and complain..let us have a national Stop complaining day, so the elites can have at least one peaceful day to enjoy thier wealth, power and privilage…awesome idea!!!

So, I just tried to email a letter to the esteemed Congressman to express my feelings on the matter as a resident of the State of Missouri. Although I am not a constituent of your district, I am a resident of Missouri. After reading your letter entitled “Co-Sponsor Complaint Free Wednesday” dated November 10, 2009, I must say that I am both alarmed and astounded.
After looking up the word “complaint” to ensure personal clarity of your statements, I found this definition: an expression of displeasure, such as poor service at a store, or from a local government, etc. I ask this simple question; is it not your duty as an elected official, a representative of the constituents of your district, to listen to the “complaints” of those whose voices can not be heard in Washington, as well as those of your peers in Congress, so that action can be taken to address the issues the PUBLIC deems valuable and necessary to them?
You were appointed to represent the needs of people in turmoil. Our economy is failing, unemployment is continuing to rise, people are losing their homes, their pensions, their savings, their hopes, and their dreams of comfort and stability. If you can not understand the desire of people, elected or not, to express their displeasure with the current situation… then, Sir, I feel it may prudent that you no longer represent the citizens of your district.
Thank you for your time and understanding in the matter at hand.
