Conservatives’ Blind Support of Our Troops and Their Unintended Defense of the Big Lie

Monday night I attended the “Stand Up America” rally in Houston hosted by the North Houston Tea Party Patriots. And while I feel the event was a resounding success, I couldn’t help but get a feeling of despair among 15,000 patriotic Americans who truly do want to see our country restored to the Constitutional Republic under which it was formed. These are all good, hard-working, salt-of-the-earth people who simply want government out of their lives as every American should. And I couldn’t agree more.

No, it’s not that feeling of hope and determination to see our country freed from the grips of corruption and the abject dismissal of the public will by our “elected” leaders which caused me such despair. It was the fact that while so many of these great Americans are so right on so many issues, they have for the most part, fallen hook, line and sinker for the Big Lie. These are the red-blooded Americans who have drunk the “Islamo-fascist” Kool-Aid served up by the main stream media, especially Fox News, and created by the Pentagon, NGOs, “think-tanks” and intelligence agencies of the world. This delusion is akin to the left-wing liberals and “progressives” who drank and still consume the “Change we can believe in” lie which swept Obama into office last year.
We were told more that 8 years ago that 9/11 changed everything. We have largely bought that lie, collectively, as a nation and because of this, let the powers that be run roughshod over our Constitution, our rule of law and our way of life all in the name of “security” and defending our homeland from the “evil doers” of the world. From this lie, has risen in this country a fervent patriotism and attitude that America can do no wrong in the world. We’re the “good guys” after all.
So while all these Tea Partiers, 9-12 activists, Red-Staters and conservative Republicans are right on so many issues such as ending the Federal Reserve system, abolishing the income tax, enforcing states rights, the global warming hoax, blocking Cap & Trade and the abysmal government “health-care” reform, and massively reducing the size and scope of our federal bureaucracy, they are dead wrong on their unflinching and unwitting support of “our troops.” They still believe that “you’re either with us, or you’re with the terrorists.” What a slick sales (con) job that line was…
Now don’t get me wrong here. As an honorably discharged Army veteran who served four years for his country, I know many people will get offended by that last statement, so let me explain further.
If you’ve ever read George Orwell’s, 1984, you know that, “Oceania has always been at war with Eastasia.” This seems eerily similar to the lie that we’ve been sold about the terrorist threat to our country. The lie that we need a “100-year war” because this enemy doesn’t abide by the “traditional” rules of war (whatever THAT means), and that we need to take the battle to them so we don’t end up with a “mushroom cloud” over here, is just that: a LIE. Perhaps a quick review of history will drive home this point:

Why of course the people don’t want war. Why should some poor slob on a farm want to risk his life in a war when the best he can get out of it is to come back to his farm in one piece? Naturally the common people don’t want war neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.

It is precisely this “Islamo-fascist/War on Terror” lie which is propagated by not only right-wing media personalities such as Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh and Bill O’Reilly among many others, but an increasing amount of left-wing media talking-heads like Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow as well now that “their guy” is in power. The war is suddenly OK. “Obama is just doing his best to clean up Bush’ mess. There’s only so much he can do, you know.” Yeah, right.
Well, my fellow patriotic Americans, it’s not OK.
It’s not OK that we went into Iraq, killled over 1.3 million innocent civilians, polluted their soil and water with depleted uranium munitions, displaced millions of other Iraqis, and have turned their country into a third-world cesspool so that we could control their oil. It’s not OK that we went into Afghanistan so that we could re-invigorate the opium trade (which had been all but decimated by the Taliban), keep the black market money flowing to fund the CIA, ISI, MI6, Mossad, etc., and ensure record crops of poppy fields while “our troops” stand guard. Pat Tillman was about to come home and expose it all until he was murdered by his own government.
So, my fellow Americans, please understand that when you blindly say you “support the troops” because that’s what good Americans do, you are only supporting the individual and NOT their command or their mission. For it has been proven that their mission is a lie, a fraud, unconstitutional and illegal. Support the individual and pray for their safety – not only from our “supposed” enemies who are merely defending their own homeland, sovereignty, property and natural resources, but from those in our own government who use them merely as instruments in their sick and twisted game of global empire and world domination. As Henry Kissinger, one of the long-time establishment’s “elite” minions and another questionable winner of the Nobel “Peace” Prize, so bluntly put it, “Military men are just dumb stupid animals to be used as pawns in foreign policy.” This is the same attitude of your leaders in DC.
Yes, it is sad that our troops have been reduced to the heavy hand enforcers of western “democracy” under a corrupt and tyrannical American government. Our troops are now nothing more than the strong arm of the global mafia: the cabal of central banks and greedy corporations of the world working in concert to rob the wealth of nations and impoverish and enslave the good people of the world. These criminals own the entire military industrial complex, to include the “troops” and these are the same people pushing hard for their “global government” which will be pushed further down the path to realization in Copenhagen, Denmark this December under the guise of once again, “saving humanity from itself.”
These so-called “elite” are the true destroyers of humanity and all that is good in the world and they have the nerve to use false patriotism and wrap themselves in the American flag as they send our sons and daughters, brothers and sisters and fathers and mothers off to fight and die in unjust wars in foreign lands. Not to protect and defend our Constitution, our ideals, our morals and our way of life, but to ensure the corporate takeover of the world; to enable the raping and pillaging of sovereign lands not for the gain of world peace or “democracy”, but of PROFIT and greater and greater power; and to lead humanity towards the neo-feudal system which has been their dream and ultimate end game for decades, if not centuries.
If nothing else in my life, I have learned one very important lesson: if you want to get to the truth about anything, you need to only figure out two things:
1. Who is benefitting from this?
and
2. Follow the money.
By simply taking the time and doing your own research, your due diligence and your duty not only as an American citizen, but as a member of all humanity, you will always come to the truth. As it was written in Matthew 7:7, “Ask, and it shall be given to you, seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you.”
So I put this challenge out to ALL my fellow patriots, freedom-fighters, conservatives, libertarians and liberals alike: Seek the TRUTH and ye shall find.
Reject the corporate controlled main stream media, especially the NeoCon conservative talk show hosts around the country – and yes, this includes Glenn Beck, your so-called libertarian “hero.” I know this will come as a shock to most of you who hang on his every word, but he is not your friend. He is paid VERY WELL to lead you all to a false conclusion, especially on matters of the war on terror and the “Islamo-fascist” threat. He is a Judas goat. He was given a $50 million contract! You don’t think that someone, somewhere has an ulterior motive behind paying this former alcoholic that kind of money? All he does is help to propagate the Big Lie by giving you so much of the truth that you actually believe there is no way he can be wrong about anything else, right? Wrong.
How wrong? He was wrong about Ron Paul and popped up to demonize the movement last year just as Ron Paul was gaining his greatest momentum. He is wrong about 9/11, claims the official government report and Popular Mechanics article is the definitive truth and labels anyone calling for a real, comprehensive and scientific investigation of the greatest crime ever committed on American soil, a Kook. He was wrong about the Patriot Act, which he supported. He was wrong about he banker bailout, which he supported. He was wrong about the FEMA camps which has been thoroughly proven in the brilliant new documentary, Camp FEMA: American Lockdown.
He is basically wrong about the Big Issues; the important key points which will expose the true hijackers of our liberties and leads you astray down the path of “hope.” Where have we heard that word bandied about before? Hmmm? Hope is number 3 on his list of 12 values the 9-12 movement, which he created, abides by. Hope is a false and empty emotion which only leads to inaction. He’ll take your hope and lead you all right off the cliff. That’s exactly for what he’s paid the big bucks.
Always remember this. You could eat the most beautiful, juicy and delicious apple in the world, but if there is just one drop of cyanide in that apple, it will most likely kill you. That’s the essential purpose of the corporate-controlled media. They are not there to inform or educate, they are there to indoctrinate. They are there to perpetuate the false left/right paradigm so as to divide and conquer a nation. They are there to lie, spin, distort and stretch reality to fit a pre-determined agenda. The are controlled ultimately by the same people, corporations, and monied interests who control the Federal Reserve banking system which is destroying our country by design. It’s all about control and manipulation of our minds, our thoughts, our beliefs, our attitudes, and thus, our actions.
Unfortunately, the vast majority of the conservative minds in this country have fallen victim to the manipulation of the Big Lie, which is the “War on Terror.” It’s no more than the modern incarnation of the “War on Poverty”, the “War on Cancer”, or the “War on Drugs.” All of which, I might add, have been colossal failures while lining the pockets and increasing the power of the authoritarian establishment which has benefitted from them all.
Ultimately, all the belief in the Big Lie will do is cripple the patriot movement as the outrage against the Democrats and the damage they’ve done to our nation will increase support for the Republicans. And the fake, NeoCon “conservatives” will once again be swept into power. All the while, the hundred-year war rages on as one puppet of the establishment replaces another. This is the purpose and mission of Glenn Beck. He is paid controlled opposition designed to further the establishments goals – not to re-ignite the spirit of the American freedom fighter. Quit buying into the Big Lie. You’re smarter than that.
And ask yourself the next time you blindly cheer in support of our troops, “who is benefitting from this?” Is it the country and citizens of Iraq or Afghanistan? Is it the believers of the essentially peaceful Islamic religion? Is it our troops coming home maimed, traumatized, poisoned and in body bags? Or is it Halliburton, KBR, BP Amoco, Exxon Mobil, CACI, Dyncorp, Blackwater, L3 Communications, Raytheon, Titan , GE, McDonnell Douglas and so on and so on….? Is it our federal government who has since 2001, gutted our Constitution in a power grab never before seen in American history? Who has benefitted? Follow the money. Seek the TRUTH. And if you really do support the troops, fight, with everything you have to end these illegal wars of aggression and empire-building so that we can bring them home to do what they’re sworn to do: protect our borders from foreign invasion, and protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America!
Postscript:
I am not a writer. I am an American. I am simply someone who is fed up with the establishment , the “elite” and the way things are not only in this country, but around the world. I am also fed up with the apathy, ignorance and arrogance of much of the American populace. I sat down today to scribble down some thoughts and the words just flowed out of my mind. You see, I know and have come to the understanding that if ONLY the people would wake up to the truth and realize the lies we’ve been told by those in power for so long, that we could peacefully take our world back from the darkness which has descended over it. Creating AWARENESS is the key and I’m just merely trying to do my little part.
I woke up over 2 ½ years ago and my journey down the rabbit hole has been enlightening, educational, sometimes frightening and time-consuming, to say the least. I have done thousands of hours of research, to include reading books about TRUE history, reading hundreds of articles from alternative media uncontrolled by corporations, and watched hundreds of documentaries; some better than others and some, a complete waste of time.
I recently moved to Texas from Chicago to be closer to family and because it is increasingly becoming a God-forsaken police-state hell hole of a city in which to live. I was even on one occasion pulled over, had guns drawn on me, cuffed, frisked, searched and had my rights completely violated for simply being white in a black neighborhood at night. Ironically, I was simply out of filtered water and on the way to the store get some more because I refuse to ingest their “healthy” fluoride. I attended the Tea Party last night to network and get involved with the local patriot organizations so I can do what I can to help restore our Republic, but I am still amazed at how many people are so snowed by the right-wing media, Fox News and especially Glenn Beck. I and many others like me, (I guess those with a lot of discernment) can see right through the guy’s little bait-and-switch, snake-oil salesman act.
I decided to sit down and write out my thoughts because of the adoration I saw last night for Glenn and the apparent NeoCon conservatives running the show. I hear them on the radio and just want to scream as they perpetuate the lies over and over. I felt I needed to reach out to these people because they are passionate in their beliefs and are working so hard to do what they can to help out our country. But they’re wrong on this one issue and it’s a HUGE issue. We can get this country back and return to a peaceful and prosperous nation once these criminals are removed from power. But that can’t happen as long as the conservatives think the only problem is the liberals and the socialists. It’s much, much bigger than that and we all need to understand and discover the Big Lie if we’re to move forward in the right direction.
We need to be told the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help us, God. Replacing Democrats with war-mongering NeoCons simply because they’re Republican, is NOT the answer to what ails our country. The left/right paradigm is an integral part of the Big Lie. We need to realize that and shatter these false beliefs once and for all. What we need are candidates and politicians, be they Libertarian, Green, Democrat, Republican, liberal, conservative or whatever label they want to put on themselves, who have SWORN to SUPPORT and DEFEND The Constitution of the United States of America. Nothing more, nothing less. They need to be vetted to make sure they are for real. The only thing which will save this country at this point is the TRUTH, justice and Constitutional candidates sworn to uphold the law of our land. Ron Paul, Marcy Kaptur, Chuck Baldwin, Charles Key, Alan Grayson, Dennis Kucinich, and Brad Sherman, are all stellar examples of the type of person we should all be supporting for public office. Just because they have an “R” next to their name, doesn’t mean they’re going to be good for our country and uphold true, conservative values. We’ve been lied to by many Republicans in the past and we’ll be lied to by more in the future.
So you may be asking yourself, how do I get the truth and how do I know it’s the truth? If the main stream media is attacking it, demonizing it, marginalizing it, calling it kooky or a conspiracy theory, you can probably be sure you’re on the right path. Use your common sense and your discernment. Follow the money and figure out who benefits. To help you on your journey, I have created a list of documentaries, websites, writers and books which are all excellent sources of truth in our world. It is what helped me to wake up to all of this and should be mandatory education for all Americans.

We have become the most over-entertained and under-educated nation in the world and we are about to reap what we’ve sown for the past 100 years. We can restore our Republic with DVDs, flyers, the internet and by simply talking to our neighbors. It’s a simple equation, people. Do the work and reap the rewards. Ignore the obvious, continue the intellectual laziness, get sucked into the Matrix of pop culture, mainstream media and propaganda, believe the lies and suffer the consequences. The choice is ours. The time is now. The rEVOLution is dependent upon us all.

The “evildoers” of the world inhabit our OWN government
All we can do is wake up as many people as we can. I felt very betrayed when I found out that Bush was NOT a Christian as he claimed. Wait – don’t shoot me. I was just living life and trying to be a law-abiding patriot until I found out the truth in Jan 09. Now I’m making up for lost time.
I really did believe the enemy was “out there” when I was a green military volunteer in 76. I joined because I thought I could do some good, learn a job and protect those I loved “back here”. I believe that’s where most troops stand today, and why they’re being sent overseas to get them out of the way, while foreign troops are being invited here to quell the unrest that is sure to come. Foreign troops have no interest in protecting the American people from the corrupt govt, and some of these troops actively hate Americans because of what has been perpetrated on their people BY this corrupt govt. No matter which way we slice it, we’re in for a rough ride. May God preserve and protect us – because that is our ONLY hope.

Your comments only prove that you are indeed the offspring of a failed generation (your imbecility is unique). In fact, I place the entire blame on the states involved in the eugenic programs during the first decades of the twentieth century for not strictly enforcing the sterilization laws on your ancestors; consequently, you are the best evidence that a defective gene pool has been transmitted from one generation to the next. And worst of all, the chances that your descendants’ DNA carrying a more complex sequence of these defective genes are 100% guaranteed – they can scientifically be confirmed.

It’s so transparent when people come on here to post disinfo comments. The fact is that more and more people are realizing that the majority of politicians on both sides of the aisle are loyal to corporate special interests and the people that control them. We all need to support people like Dennis Kucinich and Ron Paul, even if you don’t support all of their positions. There are those who speak truth to power invloved in govt. and citizens need to support them. We also need to support law enforcement and military personnel who are turning their backs on their hateful or misguided colleagues and the corrupt sadists who purport to lead them. People are waking up to the fact that “the authorities” view us as a collective enemy, and so are people in law enforcement and the military, who are one by one recommiting to their oath to uphold, protect and defend the Constitution. I know I say this a lot, Gandhi, but take a closer look at who you’re blaming here. A lot of the people I met in the military and a lot of the people I served with were just good, honest people who were indoctrinated to think that they were doing the right thing. For a short while I thought I was doing some good, too. The sad fact of it is that many of them are so indoctrinated, cradle to grave, that they will never let go of that belief. But the real criminals are the people who use government as a shield to commit crimes against others. Yeah, it’s an important issue that people are taking unlawful orders, but it is an issue that can be remedied – show them how their orders are unlawful and that they should stand up for what they took an oath to. But always remember that the real enemy is the source of the problem, in this case our “elected” government and the private banks we call the “Elites”. Elitist is probably a better word….

Who says I go to church? I don’t, I listen to my doctrine at my house to stay away from the legalistic churches of today. I can’t stand being in a church with a dog and pony show. The legalistic churches are all about self awareness more than they are about the truth of the Word. Grace is the foremost important category that we have from the Kingdom of God and yet, too few churches teach that concept. They want a 12 step program into righteousness instead of using 1 John 1:9. The idea that the conservatives were using a degree of rational on selected issues to pitch the need of perpeptual violence became obvious to me long ago. No matter how much people complain about the changes that are called for and implemented, and the obvious corruption within our government and financial system, nothing ever changes, the plan continually moves forward.
The conservative guys use a more devious technique than the liberals, it’s yes, yes, yes, and therfore yes. The setup works great. These people are disgusting in that they obviously have no qualms about decieving people into believing that loss of life is necessary when in fact it is occurring to serve the interest of the central banking cartel.
The purpose of these wars was revealed to me when I learned that there are only a handful of nations that do not belong to the central banking cartel. These countries are targeted and are considered terrorist states.
The goal is to establish that these targeted nations can not remain financially independent so that they will be forced to become indebted to the same people that hold us hostage.

The bill Congressman Watt has sent to the full Financial Services Committee contains no audit of the Fed’s monetary policy-making authority or transparency of the Fed’s secret agreements with foreign central banks.
Without these provisions, a so-called “audit” of the Fed would be worthless.

I say let Glenn Beck go for a while. While I loathe his ridiculous phony routine (Youtube Glenn Beck fakes crying to see for yourself), he is introducing the American Idol watching numb skull public to topics they would NEVER look into on their own. While many will never venture away from Glen Beck who tells them how to think and feel, many will. Many will end up here and discover for themselves just like all of us did at one point, that the media lies and misleads us in the most egregious ways. Right up there with a priest that boogers little boys, they have a position of trust and respect and take complete advantage of it. That feeling of realizing you’ve been lied to about almost everything. Most will never do anything more than read and write about it. But there are those who will do more, but only when the time is right. Glenn Beck will help fill our ranks, he just doesn’t know it yet.

I’m with you… Beck is improving his delivery, and last week had a great show exposing the Copenhagan Treaty and it’s call for a global government–as the discussion went on he actually asked his panel if they believed if the New World Order conspiracy… there was a no and maybe! I posted something on this page more than an hour ago and it appeared as if it posted but upon returning I found it not posted. I then attempted to re-post it but was told that an error had taken place and that my re-post was a duplicate of #8217. But where is #8217? I do not see it posted anywhere here. What I posted was not an attack on any individual nor was it filled with expletives or any sort of language that might be construed as unacceptable. Although, after reading many of the posts here in this site it is hard to imagine what sort of language is considered unacceptable and even that attacking others for their opinions is not allowed since I see that sort of behavior all the time in this site. What I wrote was my reasoned response to this article and I can’t find any evidence that it exists other than I saved a copy for myself and the message I keep getting that informs me that I all ready posted that response.
If my post has been censored then that would be a tragedy as I honestly believed this was a site intended to bring like minded souls together to share in their passion for freedom. Fortunately I have saved a copy of that post for my own records and will keep trying to get it posted here and work under the assumption that this is due to some sort of computer glitch and not the willful act of censorship. It is, however, censorship that is taking place then this site is nothing more than a sham. I hope I am wrong and that whatever has caused this problem will be corrected, but my heart is heavy with fear that this site is not at all what it pretends to be.

This is a GOOD article.
It will take some time for average people to understand even the tip of the scheme banksters pulled on us all, but you have to help them and guide them a litle.

I went back in in 2006 and i did get treated like a dum animal pawn got used and dumped never have I ever belived that a man who wanted to serve his country in time of war would ever be treated in the way I was. That left a big scar but it changed my mindset an after I saw the way soldiers were treated now as opposed to the 80’s when I was first in. I learned quikly to hate bush and to question his motives.

You are wrong about Glenn Beck being for the banker bailout and the Patriot act. Other than that you are right about Beck. You cannot believe everything any one person says you must check it out for yourself. The concervatives being for the war has never meshed with me. When you look at the big picture, 9/11 was just one battle in the war. The federal reserve and the corporate banking government complex are the actual physical enemy that must be defeated. It is most important to defeat those entities specifically. 9/11 was executed so masterfully—the attack itself, the propaganda, lies, and programming—that it will always be debated no matter how much evidence is presented.
If the NWO goes down, we win. 9/11 will remain in the minds of the politically aware forever, regardless of what so called experts and historians try to put into history books. Perhaps a shift of consciousness will occur or the truth will be trumpeted loudly enough that everyone can hear. The fact remains that the day of 9/11/01 was a battle that “they” won, but I do hope to see it turned back on them.

Who says I go to church? I don’t, I listen to my doctrine at my house to stay away from the legalistic churches of today. I can’t stand being in a church with a dog and pony show. The legalistic churches are all about self awareness more than they are about the truth of the Word. Grace is the foremost important category that we have from the Kingdom of God and yet, too few churches teach that concept. They want a 12 step program into righteousness instead of using 1 John 1:9. When you screw up, you rebound, you isolate it, and you forget it. Nothing else is needed, no penance, no feeling sorry for your sins, no promises. Nothing else needs to be done, because we have Grace. God gave us the ultimate Grace through his Son.

When ever I see one of those “support the troops” bumper stickers I have to wonder at the intelligence of the driver.
What, support them even if they round up Jews, put them into camps, incinerate them?

That includes Vietnam, it includes Iraq.

We marched into Iraq even though OUR weapons inspectors hasn’t found anything.
Our Secretary of State presented bogus satellite photos to the UN saying..yeah, there’s WMD here, and here and here. Only there weren’t. It was all a BIG lie. Not a mistake, but a premeditated blatant LIE! Or leaders knew there were no WMD. It was all a cover to invade a country rich in Oil. Only they couldn’t pull it off. So they lied even more to cover them selves.
Now the lies continue with Afghanistan.
