Fire up the Google News search engine and enter “Bilderberg” and check out the results. Not one corporate media source — not the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, the Washington Post, et al — deemed it appropriate to mention, even in passing, the 56th Bilderberg meeting in Chantilly, Virginia, this week. The American Friends of Bilderberg, described as “an offshoot Bilderberg front group that has accepted donations from the Ford Foundation to fund Bilderberg meetings” and “a secretarial outpost through which Bilderberg conferences are organized,” issued a press release this year, but the corporate media did not follow-up. Surprisingly or not, few so-called “alternative” media sources mentioned it, either.
Raw Story, WorldNetDaily, Gather, the American Chronicle, the Canada Free Press, the American Free Press, and the Moderate Voice covered the story. Of course, Prison Planet and Infowars covered the story in depth. In Istanbul, the Turkish Daily News ran a story, reporting Turkey’s Foreign Minister Ali Babacan was in attendance, along with a handful of Turkish politicians and business leaders. Radio Netherlands reported that Dutch Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende would attend “the highly secretive annual meeting of the world’s most influential people,” but left it at that.
Raw Story’s article points to the participation list posted on Infowars and mentions Paul Joseph Watson’s article on the Obama campaign’s refusal to deny “the Democratic nominee attended Bilderberg last night following reports that he and Hillary Clinton were present at ‘an event in Northern Virginia,’” an “obvious link to the ongoing Bilderberg conference” in Chantilly.
Popular blogger Wonkette mentioned Bilderberg, but only as a platform to launch an attack against Jim Tucker and “several people” who protested the event. Wonkette also made mention of the “angry paultard-esque emails” received after posting the above. Apparently, according to Ana Marie Cox and her stable of libs at Wonkette, only “paultards” are concerned about the Bilderbergers and their agenda of predatory globalism, as everybody else realizes the conference is simply an informal gathering of politicians and business leaders harmlessly talking over world events as they munch fiddlehead ferns and caviar.
According to Chip Berlet and like-minded “progressives” (read, Democrats), all of this obsessive business about the Bilderbergers is a waste of time. Berlet “argues that the perpetuation of the myth that groups such as Biliderberg are all-powerful is a political distraction,” explains SourceWatch. “Why are people recycling a right-wing anti-communist conspiracy theory? People need to be less credulous and gullible. Not everyone who has an anti-elitist framework is our ally,” an exasperated Berlet declares. Discussion of the Bilderbergers is “right-wing populist conspiracism” and “diverts us from a systematic analysis of how wealthy elites control the economy and the political scene.” It should be noted that Berlet hails from Political Research Associates, funded by the Ford Foundation and the very wealthy elites he complains about. The PRA functions as the elite’s gatekeeper on the so-called Left. Berlet and PRA also take money from the Tides Foundation, a creation of the Pew Charitable Trusts, in the business of controlling “progressives” for decades.

On its face, it makes no sense the corporate media would ignore and fail to report a confab comprised of newsworthy royal elites, chancellors, prime ministers, presidents, ambassadors, secretaries of state, Wall street bankers and investors, CEOs of transnational corporations, and corporate media executives. It makes no sense — that is until you realize the corporate media is owned and directed by this very same elite. In the past, darlings of the corporate media have attended Bilderberg meetings, including the late Peter Jennings of ABC, Joseph C. Harsch of NBC, the “liberal” Bill Moyers of PBS, the “conservative” William F. Buckley, Jr., Robert L. Bartley of the Wall Street Journal, the neocon William Kristol, Thomas L. Friedman of the New York Times, the late Katharine Graham of the CIA’s favorite newspaper, the Washington Post, Leslie Stahl of CBS, and many others. Many are also members of the CFR and the Trilateral Commission.
It is no mistake a Google News search reveals absolutely no reportage from the corporate media on the Bilderberg confab currently underway in Virginia. In effect, the Bilderbergers own the corporate media. “Critics have suggested that the media have been slow to investigate and report on the Bilderberg because many corporate news executives and journalists are members of the Group,” noted Parascope. “Like all other Bilderberg attendees, these individuals have agreed to remain silent about the meetings, in spite of their responsibilities as high-ranking members of the national and international media…. Although underground information activists have managed to pierce the local media bubbles and gather useful information about the Bilderberg’s meetings, scrutiny of the Group in the establishment press is still verboten.”
Indeed, so verboten is coverage of the Bilderbergers they have dispatched “security” thugs to harass, intimidate, and threaten journalists, as Alex Jones and the Infowars team discovered this past week. However, even with this concerted campaign to stifle coverage of Bilderberg events, with each passing year more information detailing their secretive proceedings is revealed to the public, thus demanding more strenuous effort on the part of the Chip Berlets and Wonkettes of the world to deride this information as the kooky delusions of far right-wing nuts jobs and Paultards.

There are some Bilderberg things as recent as 2007 on the BBC site, but clicking on one shows something from 2005. People attending Bilderberg like the fact that if they speak their mind it will not be quoted. It seems the media are very good at keeping this promis.

Thanks again to Prison Planet and Infowars for getting the word out. There has been no mention of the Bilderberg meeting on the CBC site up here in Canada. But I was able to post the following CBC forum entries, which got a few recommendations. Along the lines of my previous post about the Bilderberg Group meeting right now near Washington under a complete US and Canadian establishment media blackout, I’m not sure whether it will make a huge difference whether an “elephant” or a “donkey” ends up galumphing through the White House. At this point, no President will ever be able — or willing — to reverse decades of evisceration of the Constitution and Bill of Rights (particularly what Dubya, Cheney and other assorted Neocons have wrought upon them).
Personally, I think Obama would be preferable to McCain if for no other reason than the optics of it, but the point is that whoever gets in there is going to have to answer to all the rich, old white guys in:
-the Fed and international banking cartel
-the military-industrial complex
-the covert intelligence network
-the GOD profiteers (Guns-Oil-Drugs)
-the New World Order globalists in general
-those in power — like ex-Presidents and their networks — who have a helluva lot of dark secrets and skeletons to hide, and who have plenty of violent support to make sure they do remain hidden
-etc. . .
That said, I wouldn’t be surprised to see McCain win. In any case, whoever does will have to toe the line, or the aforementioned rich, old, white guys will give the orders that make life very difficult, unpleasant and dangerous for them.
To me, an interesting question will be who the candidates choose as running mates. McCain’s health is an issue, so there have got to be some potentates out there who will be strongly suggesting their own bought-and-paid-for VP candidates.

There seems to be a troll here who pirates peoples web-handles and says false things using their names for the purpose of damaging the various posters reputations on this site. I do not know if there is an easy admin fix for this problem, however, if you read someones post and it seems to be contradictory of the normal tenor of their thought, please recognize that you are reading a pirated handle written by a troll. I imagine that most of these posts will come in as detracting from either Alex, Infowars, 911Truth or similar. A pirate troll can have no success in promoting the cause he wishes to destroy, so basically, I would imagine that alot of the negative or discordant posts on this site emanate from this person or persons. In short, if you find yourself reading someones post and find yourself saying”that doesnt sound like…” you are reading a troll. Thank you.

Why would the founders of the main stream media expose themselves? This is the annual meeting to fleece the world of it’s wealth, natural resources, labor, transportation. They have their fortunes in off shore banking, free of taxation, while they plans ways to tax us, carbon tax, income tax, federal reserve, etc. What amazes me is that a country founded on anti-taxation has created an empire of taxation. Obama and Clinton want to tax the rich, Kennedy’s money is in Fiji, George Soros money is in the Bahamas. Tax success at a progressive rate, we can’t raise taxes on the poor, they don’t pay taxes. Obama, I think will cause class war in America, take from you and give to someone else. The republic is over, let the revolution begin.

As a Canadian I just read the Logan Act for the first time on the net. This was made by John Adams back in 1799. Now Bush is overlooking the Constitution and the government being led by the military and the big corporations. All this is what we call tyrany. Everything that is happening today is in the Bible and we are going to see some terrible things. I remember a song from way back in the 60’s or was it the 70’s (my day – I am 57) my mind doesn’t work the way it used to. It had something in the words “In the Year 2525″ and so on. I don’t remember who was the singer or band but I was thinking that it was referring to today’s technology of those chips, etc. In those days when I would listen to a song and I guess a lot of us we just didn’t think that there was a message behind those words. We sure are in our last days for sure. I sure am very proud of Alex Jones for what he is doing but so very dangerous. Those who are leading us in a mighty big hole that are called the elites are going to be sent to the gates of hell when Jesus comes back. We are no longer living free that’s for sure. There is so much terrible suffering in this world.

I am so sick and tired of unprincipled politicians getting away with high crimes, as mainstream media turns their back on We The People.
I want a government that is principled and mainstream media should be carrying this news.
This country is suffering from a major disconnect manicured by mainstream and this is a corporate controlled crime against all Americans.
I can only conclude we are all living under the spell of a highly controlled psyopp with every intention of DECEIVING THE MASSES.
This does not fit the description of freedom, freedom of the press and having tax payers well enough informed to be active US citizens that fulfull the true meaning of our Constitution & Bill Of Rights.
We can not vote based upon obfuscation of the facts held back by mainstream and this is really a very serious crime against We The People, that should be fully informed with the facts.
So what is next, Cuban or Soviet style news, as approved by the GRAND DECEIVERS.
I need a country I can be proud of and a government that adheres to principles, that’s honest and that is up front with We The People. Patriotism and government without moral compass is like an infection of the blood stream, that threatens each and everyone of us that get stuck with the result, that mainstream refuses to deal with.
I ache to be able to sing, “proud to be an American – - – ” but I can’t, not with all that has happened with false intel, the misled war in Iraq, the violation of our Constitution and the literal overthrow of this country with DECEPTIVE executive orders written by slick legal gypsies that have no intentions of living up to the oath of office.
It makes me feel like I’ve been screwed into shame, with no way to fix it, it breeds apathy and it has ruined everything I believed in when attempting to do my best.
This is a horrible state of affairs for this nation and these bastards are killing our pride and dignity as Americans and what are we fighting for, to perpetuate the worse we’ve got?
The only way to restore our dignity is to go after and hang the bastards that misled us down this path and to show the world this country means what is says, with LIBERTY & JUSTICE for all.
America is my only home, your home and our home and the rotten stench we are being forced to live with as a result of off shore Nepots that sleep with the enemy, that warmonger and profiteer, and that have overthrown this country makes me sick all the way to my soul and back.
FOR GOD’S SAKE, SOMEONE, ANYONE in mainstream, please, enough is enough – SOUND THE ALARM, get out there and educate and awaken the great people of America that can make this country our home, my home and your home, OUR ONLY HOME!!!
The Neocons are wrong, they are lying to everyone and they are not serving THIS COUNTRY, but rather serve a theoretical Global Utopia for entraprenures, that can’t possibly succeed without generations of wars, if it ever could even then. This is total madness and it has to stop.
I want to be an American and I want to be proud, not lied to. I am an American I feel deep shame for what our leaders are doing, almost like being a POW, I now hang my head low as I watch it all, truth and honer, slip away. There is nothing honorable about this administration and all of the lies and assaults they have perpetrated against us all.
Mainstream needs to make an outstanding list, play the drum roll and read that list from top to bottom, as the charges are made at eye level and square on. We need a full address on these issues.

Can anyone immagine what it would be like if we erradicted the Neocons & NWO, that have strategically infiltrated and hijacked all our institutions and attacked this nation and all other nations for the sake of war profiteering?
Can you just immagine that America, because we can do it if we want it badly enough.
Can you immagine being so proud of America and our principles of moral compass, that we could actually sing, ” I’m proud to be an American, where at least I know I’m free – - – ” without having to puke on all the lies and corporate/political corruption?
CAN YOU IMMAGINE HOW THAT WOULD FEEL??? WE WOULD BECOME A BEACON TO THE ENTIRE PLANET AND WE WOULD BE PATRIOTICALLY INVINCABLE for all of the right reasons.
