There have been some terrible miscarriages of justice due to proceeds of crime legislation in other countries.
Whether Canada will do better remains to be seen.

For a country that has gained the reputation, whether deserved or not, of protecting the rights of the accused over the rights of victims, it’s quite an about-face.
As one worried reader e-mailed the other day: “This is a terrifying development. If the police even suspect you of a crime, they can take all your stuff. They don’t have to prove it.”
Is he right? “Yes and no,” says University of Manitoba law professor Michelle Gallant. The cops can take your car, for instance, if they think you’re using it to sell drugs.
But the police have to persuade a judge that, on a balance of probabilities, the vehicle is connected to crime. And that’s much easier to show than providing evidence beyond a reasonable doubt that someone is guilty of a crime.
In other words, if the police want your car, house, money or any other assets, they can get away with it without even arresting you as long as they convince a judge something doesn’t smell right. No conviction necessary.

1. The guy in the video was responsible for counting ALL the “Coffin-Liners”.
2. He said there was 100,000 (in all states).
3. Interviewer asked how many were in the field.
4. He couldn’t even guess.
5. Interviewer asks if there are less than 500,00 at this location.
6. Guy says definately less than 500,000 at this location.
7. Says Alex Jones was the one who invented the story, then a bunch of others made youtube videos.
8. They are called “Coffin-Liners” not “Grave-Liners” therefore one is supposed to fit inside a coffin and not the other way around.
9. If you’ve ever seen or lifted a coffin, you would know this to be impossible.

Isn’t it a little strange how “Dennis” immediately goes after Alex Jones? What is this really trying to say. I also find it odd that, “I just happened to be on my way to the tea party” was the introduction. The story just doesn’t sound right when viewed in context with manufacturing practices. Why would the company make such a huge inventory? This “debunking” just doesn’t smell right.

back in 1990 I was in Antwerpen, Belgium, on my way to the ralway station,
I could hardly pass because of a right wing organized protest of Vlaams Blok(now Vlaams Belang, right extremist party)
As I was witnessing ‘police’ harrassing a young lady, who just like me couldn’t pass very easy,
although she didn’t offend the ‘officers’ or anything by no means,
they were so brutally arresting her.
I stood there, speachless and talking to myself, I said; “does this have to be like that?”
obviously some ‘officers’ saw and heard me and they grabbed me,
confiscated a lady’s camera who was filming my arrest
and these ‘cops’ handcuffed me
and here’s my ponit;
WITH MY RIGHT HAND THUMB BEND OVER TO THE WRONG SIDE AND PRESSED BY THE CUFFS!
it hurted enormously and I heared one ‘cop’ saying to his college:
“come on, do hurt him some more” so the other ‘cop’ tightened th cuff still more, the bloody bastard!
in the van, I asked a lady officer to loosen up the cuffs, since it hurted
“o! are you going to cry or what? if you don’t stop complaining we will put you some place else
(still wondering what place she meant by that)
we were put in cells with more then 20 people each cell
amongst were little kids!
a couple of real honest kids later told me the cops did not return their money!
even a restaurant keeper, who just needed to pass to open up his restaurant,
was in the cell
even not being allowed to call his wife
until now I NEVER dared to publish this

I am always intrigued by the “All ‘HAIL’ Thermal Expansion” that you always use.

I recently had a radio scanner seized in a “bust” where the police found nothing at all. I tried to get it back and the DA literally laughed at me when she heard my request. Even though I can buy one of these scanners at a local Radio Shack, they acted as if it was illegal for me to have one.
