“The U.S. government is prepared to lend more than $7.4 trillion on behalf of American taxpayers, or half the value of everything produced in the nation last year, to rescue the financial system since the credit markets seized up 15 months ago,” reports Bloomberg. “The unprecedented pledge of funds includes $2.8 trillion already tapped by financial institutions in the biggest response to an economic emergency since the New Deal of the 1930s.”

It is not, however, a response to an economic emergency. It is brazen grand larceny conducted in broad daylight. It is financial terrorism and the bankster engineered TARP is the equivalent of the Patriot Act that allows the government and Wall Street to get away with the biggest heist in modern history. Paulson and his co-conspirators rammed their bank robbery bill through Congress with threats of martial law and dire warnings of a financial crash. Now they are cleaning out the till with precision as Congress and the American people stand dumbfounded on the sidelines.
“When Congress approved the TARP on Oct. 3, Fed Chairman Ben S. Bernanke and Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson acknowledged the need for transparency and oversight,” Bloomberg continues. “Now, as regulators commit far more money while refusing to disclose loan recipients or reveal the collateral they are taking in return, some Congress members are calling for the Fed to be reined in.”
It should be noted that the amount of money pledged is equivalent to $24,000 for every man, woman and child in the country. It’s nine times what the U.S. has spent so far on wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, according to Congressional Budget Office figures. It could pay off more than half the country’s mortgages.
Simply reigning in the private Federal Reserve will not put an end to the bank robbery. In fact, the criminal Federal Reserve is responsible for the current economic crisis. The Federal Reserve Bank, through its inflation of the money supply and the distortion of free markets, engineered the crisis. As Alex Jones told OTN on the weekend (see video), the international banksters have cut off liquidity by design in order the bankrupt the country and implode the economy. It is a bankster scheme engineered to consolidate wealth and buy up assets — banks, insurance companies, roads, infrastructure — for pennies on the dollar.

Last week we were told the in-coming Obama administration will nominate New York Fed boss Timothy Geithner for Treasury secretary. Geithner currently manages the bankster bailout from his New York office, thus demonstrating that the looting will continue under the “change” and “yes we can” president.
Congress is finally coming around, albeit a day late and several billion dollars short, as usual. “The backlash has begun already. Congress is taking a lot of hits from their constituents because they got snookered on the TARP big time. There’s a lot of supposedly smart people who look to be totally incompetent and it’s all going to fall on the taxpayer,” Bob Eisenbeis, chief monetary economist at Vineland, New Jersey-based Cumberland Advisors Inc., told Bloomberg.
It appears Obama will further bankrupt the nation with an ill-conceived “stimulus package,” said to top $700 billion, although Obama’s senior economic adviser, Austan Goolsbee, refused to reveal numbers. In addition, Obama has promised to keep the bankster giveaway on track.
“On Monday, Mr. Obama will likely offer for the first time an explicit pledge to honor all commitments already made by the Bush administration in the TARP program, without imposing new conditions even if there are changes are made to the program in the future. Obama officials also say the president-elect will promise to find spending cuts to try to keep short-term stimulus spending from ballooning the budget deficit over the long term,” reports the Wall Street Journal.
In other words, the austerity and sacrifice alluded to by Obama’s wife during the election will commence in earnest after her husband’s anointment in January. Obama’s spending cuts, of course, will not come out of the massive Pentagon budget, or the off-record intelligence black budget, but will instead come at the expense of the American people who are destined to live as serfs under the system planned by the banksters and the global elite.

Good job, as always Alex. America is finally going out of business – Ravi Batra did a book called the Great Depression of 1990 – he was just off by 18 years – but it happened – it is here. The only thing I can think of to even possibly change things is to bring back manufacturing from Communist China – Just check out Wally Mart and you will see where most of our consumer goods are made. Let the Chinese eat fish heads and rice, or we are going to.
Perhaps when the whole thing collapses, we can institution meaning full change.

Talked to an old “friend” In Washington state last night, and I think I’ll choose to have one less friend. He is a home builder and blames the media for people not buying homes right now, according to him it’s a great time to buy a house the media just keeps saying all these negative things chasing people from the market. Then I asked him did he understand that the gang banksters had already spent 5 trillion plus dollars on the alleged bail-outs that were not going to keep the stock market afloat, that there was a real good chance that either the Israelis or us and them would bomb Iran soon and that that act could drag the entire world into war, or that the intelligence agencies will pull another 911 like incident. That these or any number of government generated calamities will usher in martial law and that the coming year was bringing with it a greater depression than the 1930’s. And I told him that only fools were worried about deflation, because just where did they think all those trillions were going to come from, Treasury bonds that no one wants to buy or that they were going to have to print money and when they do that, the dollar drops to a value somewhere close to the Zimbabwe dollar, in other words, you were going to need a wheel barrow full of them to go to the grocery store. Finally he says that if I thought things were so bad we should all just commit suicide and that I was so wrong because we now had a great leader who was going to straighten things out. At this point I laughed hard and loud and asked if he meant the Marx brother- Omama. At this he decided he didn’t want to continue this conversation, I decided I didn’t want to continue this friendship. I hate stupidity and choose not to be around it when possible.

#11 That is just a symptom of the disease you can research the Magic Money Tree of the Federal Reserve by googeling and watching Money Masters or better yet take the time over the holidays to read The Creature From Jekyll Island by Ed. Griffen. The problem is that governments like to spend endlessly with no limit to do this they need to be able to create money out of nothing (national debt). The politicians and the bankers created the Federal Reserve in 1913 to create a cartel of central bankers who could control the money supply and give them insider information on the stock markets. It is their privaledged information that allows them to become wealthy beyond belief and then when their investment strategies fail (like now) they have the power of the government to hedge their risks by tax payer dollars (bailout).
It is one big Ponzi scheme. The mortgage meltdown is a pittance compared to the $1,000 trillion derivatives and financial instruments markets that threaten to bring down the entire economy of the world, all orchestrated by Wall Street Bankers.

The numbers here are astronomical. When I read the financial news I start to get the same feeling I often get when I look up at the stars and realize that some of them are actually galaxies containing billions more stars – or when I try to find the logic of ‘everything comes from something but what happened before that?’.
My head honestly hurts – and I believe that’s what Paulson and Kashkari say in the backroom – “are you kidding? The numbers are so astronomical their heads will explode before they figure out what’s actually happening!”

Do what I did… Call your Congress Reps and asked them: (1) How did they vote on the bailout. (2) What is their stance on the bailout of the Auto makers and Citibank. This posting is not related to the topic above but it needs to be said.
This may be the last time I attempt to submit a posting considering two consecutive ones have failed to appear on this site. If this one doesn’t appear I must assume Alex Jones and his cohorts have decided to block me from further submissions, without, I might add, informing me as to why. One post not appearing is dissappointing, two not appearing is suspect but three not appearing is censorship.
I suggest Mr. Jones conduct an internal investigation, a good title for this news item would be “Infowars Practicing Censorship – The Ultimate in Hypocrisy”. If, however, this post does appear I would appreciate an explanation for the other two that did not. An explanation a little more detailed than “Comments may take some time to appear…”. You have my email address Mr. Jones though I doubt you will send me any response.
I am tempted to go into more deatil on this issue but I am uncertain if it will be, like it was for the other two, a waste of my valuable time. I pride myself on checking and rechecking my posts before submitting them and take care not to use foul language or offensive remarks. If it is my analytic treatment of these issues which concerns you then I am afraid Mr. Jones that you too prefer a dumbed-down audience that can be easily manipulated.
If true, I wonder how much the NWO is paying for your services? I do hope it’s enough to keep you in comfort, afterall you have an important job to do. People who say that the taxpayers will be paying for this are not thinking. Most families have little or no savings, and and have seen their real incomes decline and their debt soar under Bush. They certainly cannot afford to pay for these bailouts. They money will have to either be borrowed, or printed. It is unlikely that Asians and OPEC will pay for a 7.4 trillion bailout, in addition to paying for our wars and a 700 billion bailout earlier. Also, forigners have their own banks to bail out. The money will have to be printed. This will create hyperinflation, which brings me to my second point.
How is it that banksters will benefit, if hyperinflation will make the assets that they want to buy up many times more expensive than they are today? Intelligent banksters would not have killed their host, the US consumer, but kept America wealthy and skimmed a little off the top. This is no conspiracy – it is the result of “free trade” ideology and thoughtless deregulation. Sure, the financial sector benefitted for awhile, but today their situation is grim.

To clear things up: We use Akismet spam filter for Wordpress. The unfortunate thing about this spam filter, is that it blocks legitimate comments sometimes. However the pros (keeping spambots off of the website) outweigh the cons, so we are sticking with it. This should explain why some comments never show up, and why some of them show up almost 24 hours later.

How can our US Congressmen or Senators even have a clue as to what the average American is going through right now?
I mean they get “elected” over and over, to a job that they do not have to show up for every day.
If I only showed up to work when congress was in session, I’d find myself looking for a new job!!
Not to mention all the great benefits they have as “elected” officials. Grat Salary, Paid Vacations, Great Healthcare that they do not have to pay for, the list goes on and on.

What troubles me the most is the fact that if the U.S. Government really cared one iota about you, they could have fixed this whole financial debacle quite literally OVERNIGHT!
All they would have to have done was to issue a guaranteed check in the amount of $500,000.00 to every legal American, every man, woman and child and the economy would have been instantly revived.
Instead, they will give your tax dollars to the banks to recover money lost in the derivative markets and leave you to suffer through whatever they have planned next. You get to struggle to pay your bills with astronomical heating costs, high taxes and super high food prices while Citi Bank and AIG throw million dollar parties at your expense.

7.4 trillion? Heck, why not 20 trillion or 100 trillion? Oh, the hell with it, let’s make it an even 1 quintillion! Obviously these figures are meaningless they have nothing to do with “bail outs”, shoring up the financial markets or long-term economic planning. They are designed to further devalue and eventually remove existing currency structures to pave the way for a regional and eventually a global currency unit.
If 700 billion isn’t enough, nothing is. One of the largest banks, Citicorp, has an estimated asset value of between 2-3 billion. Combined, national and international banks have at most 500 billion in total asset value. Why would it be necessary to inject phoney money into the global banking system that represents over 10x that value?
If I was worth $1 million, mismanaged my wealth, demanded help using other people’s money and received $10 million for my mistake, would I learn my lesson and ensure all future fiscal management was strictly controlled and properly applied? Hell no! I’d continue to recklessly spend, invest and loan out until I needed further “assistance”. Such is the relationship between banks and governments. However, the real reason for this “madness”, as always, lurks in the shadows.
In order to justify a new global currency the old ones have to be destroyed. Not all at once, that would be too obvious, but gradually through a combination of inflation, international transfers, debt structuring and purchasing power. All four of these policies produce wild fluctuations in the value of national currencies. Many are marginilized to the a point of virtual wothlessness while others are inflated beyond their actual value producing a global currency system which slowly erodes the value of all currencies.
The less valued currencies never have the chance to establish a real value in international markets and therefore are prevented from gaining a competitive edge on inflated currencies. Inflated currencies self-destruct based on a continually rotating scheme of buying and selling on the dollar which has a direct impact on domestic and foreign trade deficits and speculative investment markets. All of these financial machinations gradually eliminate the real value of all currencies thus weakening and eventually wiping out individual as well as corporate financial assets.
What does this all mean? Basically your “money” artifically inflated and thus losing its’ value, is further weakened by your bank transferring currencies back and forth, both nationally and internationally, leveraging the amount of real money against phoney money which increases the debt structure and this phoney money reduces the purchasing power for goods and services.
Unfortunately, there is no sure fire way to protect your assets save stuffing money in your mattress! Beyond that, GICs and tax-deductible RRSPs or IRAs that are insured by the bank you do business with are the safest asset protection plan but by no means a guaranteed one. Insuring your assets prevents a new currency (Amero?), from forcing you to accept an undervalued buying of those assets for pennies on the dollar.
Briefly, to # 83 “American Patriot”: You won’t find me following you into a violent, self-destructive crusade. This has nothing to do with a lack of courage or a do-nothing mentality. rather, your solution would simply replace one tyranny with another. If this is how you react when you disagree with any situation not to your liking then God help us if I, or others, should disagree with you and your like-minded supporters when the day comes, and it will come, when your “brave new world” turns out to be nothing less than a regurgitated version of the NWO.

The international banking community – run by people that are truly above the law, dates from the early middle ages. Their wealth is all private, and they are answerable to no individual or nation. They control assets that make the US economy look like coffee money. What is their biggest fear – loosing control. How do they control the US? Through the Federal Reserve, which is NOT part of the US Government, but a private company. The reserve OWNS the money, not the US. The Chairman of the reserve is a powerless puppet. An interesting point is that since 2003, US currency is backed by absolutely nothing. The value of US currency is the paper it is printed on, and nothing else. The purchasing power of the US currency is whatever the market will support at any given time. The US Federal Reserve is a branch office of a much bigger organization that is directly controlled by the aforementioned individuals (OK, actually the families). This international banking community would lose control – temporarily, if we abolish the Reserve. The US Government needs to take direct control and valuation of our own currency – not the worthless trash in circulation. Problem is the same international banking community would either regain control of the US, by any means – or destroy the US, by any means necessary. Killing millions . . . billions of people to achieve their objective is a minor issue – they have done so on several occasions in the past without hesitation or remorse. Some of the names would be familiar, others not so.
No, this isn’t some fantasy conspiracy, check it out yourself, read the history books, and research the facts on the original banking houses – families of middle age Europe. Form you own truths. They did not disappear. This is the seat of real power and tangible wealth on a level that even China, and the oil rich nations of OPEC fear. Through this community, the Bush family realized much of their wealth – a documented fact, by supporting the Nazi party in Germany, financing the slave labor camps, and in general – trading with the enemy, during a time of war, in the name of profit. Why wasn’t a Bush prosecuted – get real, I just told you why. Someone like you or me, would be executed, at best.
On top of all this, we have the government we deserve – worthless trash at all levels. We, the people have been manipulated and have allowed this to happen.
I hope our new president can make the drastic changes he has promoted. The people have reached a point of exploding. This may be the US Government’s last chance. All the weapons, spin doctors, looting, assignation (not just foreign opponents, but everyday John and Jane Doe’s that become a perceived threat), and surveillance in the world will not stop a final violent response of the population. Without the people, or their begrudging submission, a government can not exist.
It would be much better for all concerned to have real reform – give us back our republic – NOW! Unfortunately – a wishful dream.
On the other hand, there is that hard way – not desirable, and messy, but it works – at least in the short run, and at great human expense. Unfortunately the old saying absolute power corrupts absolutely applies. Unfortunately, over time, we will end up with the same trash previously removed. Inside the BeltWay I have learned the meaning of power and money are interchangeable, the only thing that varies is the exchange rate. Unfortunately our officials have lost site, long ago, of their original purpose. Power and money, at all costs, are the only gods they now worship. This in turn allows them to be owned by the same banking community, and easily manipulated. Think not – how much money did the last presidential election cost the candidates? $500 million for the winner – actually I think the cost was closer to $1 billion. Where did all that money come from? Small contributions – I think not. These same contributions are not free. There are strings attached. I have yet to meet any politician that has not sold his soul to gain office and power. We have yet to see what promises Obama has made and will return for his presidency – time will tell. To any honest politicians 1) I would really like to meet you while still honest and having the best interests of your constituents in mind. 2) I would like to encourage and offer support iff you can remain honest to your office and the people who elected you.
