Since when is going after call about a stolen car more important than the an ambulance taking someone to the Hospital! People are to pull over when they see an emergency unit behind them UMMM what is an ambulance is?! An emergency UNIT! Since when is an ambulance to pull over for a cop or even slow down when they are rushing to the hospital?! I would have given him a rude gesture as well! This is just yet another show of a egotistical out of control cop doing what he wants to do cause he has a gun. And ummm if it was such an emergency why was his WIFE in the car!
Did not need for me to take a look at the son’s video to see that this cop has issues and needs to be taken off the force before he seriously hurts someone or kills someone!
I hope both ambulance drivers sue, I hope the children of the woman who was in the ambulance sues for causing more distress.
That cop had NO right to put his hands on this guy for speaking his mind! He kept telling him LOOK I have a patient in route the cop should have let them go. OR IN FACT NOT EVEN Pull them over!
Good Luck with getting this jerk fired!

The page i got to just had options of different amounts to donate. You had to select one before clicking the next button. So i naturally assumed a donation was needed in order to sign. There was no mention of not having to donate.

The trooper had no justification for performing a traffic stop on the ambulance. Based on the totallity of the circumstances of the situation, the emt’s cannot be held liable for any crime. The DA knows this, that’s why though the trooper requested charges be filed, nothing can legally be done to the emt’s. There is not enough evidence to support the troopers claim that the ambulance failed to yield appropriately. Those are the facts. The emt’s can file a list of charges as well as the patient in the ambulance. It’s because of idiots like this trooper that I left law enforcement years ago. People don’t hear sirens or see lights sometimes, that’s just the way it is. Send the trooper to North Korea.

This cop is a CRIMINAL and should be treated like one.

He is a BULLY and needs to be FIRED ASAP!

Notice how the DA was talking about pressing charges BEFORE the video was released but now that it is released he changes his mind. Hmmmm. Can we say that the DA was willing to FALSELY charges and arrest Maurice White? I think so.

The DA is just as CORRUPT as the cop and police department for trying to cover it up and FALSELY charge an INNOCENT man.

It is NOT a crime to flip off a police officer or to curse at them, although it was the COP doing all of the cursing and ASSAULTING!

I wonder why the DA does not feel the need to charge and arrest the cop.. I heard the cops dad is a judge, could this be the reason why? I smell TOTAL CORRUPTION!

Ah? The black dude should of been arrested for Obstruction of Justice and da white dude should of been giving a ticket for failure to yield to a authorized emergency vehicle. Whats the big deal? What I saw on the video was a police vehicle responding to a call, a ems vehicle in front ( with no lights on ) the had plenty of time to pull over to the side of the road. I saw the ems vehicle parked, again without lights. I saw the police vehicle pull up behind the ems vehicle. I saw the Police Officer get out and he was confronted by the black dude. Who was told by the officer to get back in the vehicle. He didnt, he should of been arrested after that. The driver of the vehicle should of gotten a ticket. So in essence, it was the officers fault for not arresting the black after the second warning. It is what it is people, the ems unit should of pulled over to begin with. The black dude should of shut his mouth and turned around and stepped back in the ems unit. If the ems patient was in such distress at the time, she should sue the black dude for leaving her side at a time of need. The police officer was right up to a point, both ems persons were wrong the entire time. Jesus, any person with a brain knows that.

The difference between Firefighters/paramedics and cops…the cops failed the test.

far be it an ambulance get in the way of that officer’s power trip, especially a state trooper

its sad to see first responders, who you would expect to get along in fact not doing so.

you would think this is an isolated incident but there have been instances where cops follow ambulances to hospitals and arrest the driver for speeding.
