Daycare Worker Told She’ll Be Fired For Refusing Mandatory Flu Shot

A daycare worker employed by Northeast Health in Albany New York was shocked to be told by her boss that she would be fired if she refused to take a seasonal swine flu shot on the spot. Similar stories have been pouring in to us from all over the country as fears that the upcoming H1N1 shot will also be mandatory continue to grow.
The case emphasizes why President Obama’s claim that the swine flu shot will be voluntary is completely deceptive and misleading. Americans across the country, even those not directly connected with health care work, are being ordered to take the mandated seasonal and swine flu shots or lose their jobs.
The story of what happened to the daycare worker, who would like to go by the pseudonym “Clare,” was sent to us by her sister who also provided Clare’s real name and the full name of the facility she is employed with.
Clare works in a daycare center which is affiliated with the local hospital but in a completely separate building. It was reported earlier this month that all hospital workers in the entire region would be forced to take the seasonal flu shot or lose their jobs and that the vaccine would become a condition of employment.
“On the Tuesday morning following the Labor Day weekend (Sept 8th), the director of the daycare of Northeast Health announced to employees on the spot (without a meeting, memo or discussion) that everyone had to go get a flu shot immediately and staff would be rotated so that everyone would be inoculated by the end of the day,” writes Clare’s sister.
“Clare said “I don’t get flu shots” and was told “well then you’ll be fired.”
The director told Clare that the H1N1 shot would also be mandated in the same way when it becomes available. When Clare warned the director that the swine flu shot contained mercury, squalene and other dangerous additives, the director told her that regardless of her objections, if she refused to be vaccinated she would be suspended from November 13th and then formally fired on November 30th.
“Clare asked how she can be fired for something that was not a condition of her employment when she was hired? She was told it was not Northeast Health’s policy, it was the director of the New York State Department of Health who made the shot mandatory,” writes her sister.
However, according to the NYSDOH decree for mandatory vaccinations, exemptions exist for “personnel who have a medical contraindication and for workers, such as those offsite, who would have no contact with patients and only incidental contact with direct-care staff.” Clare clearly falls into this category as she works in a separate building from the hospital and has no direct regular contact with hospital workers.
Clare demanded answers to the following questions, none of which have been addressed by the daycare director.
1. The regular seasonal flu hasn’t even hit so how will this first mandated shot provide any immunity when it is clearly the vaccine from last year?
2. When the H1N1 is mandated – as I believe it will be – and if I did get the shot to save my job and should I have one of the adverse reactions that the CDC has predicted, will I be covered under Workers Comp since the action that caused the injury was job related? (The cost of which will fall on the employer NOT the State of New York.)
3. Should I refuse the shot will I be eligible for Unemployment Compensation since I did nothing to warrant being terminated?
4. Malpractice insurance providers in Australia are refusing to extend coverage to their clients who give the shot; will this be the case in New York?
5. Are insurance companies going to cover subscribers who fall ill as a result of the H1N1 inoculations that were mandated by the NYS Department of Health?

After concerned parents started to ask Clare why she was leaving, it some became apparent that the director had immediately produced a letter and circulated it around the daycare, claiming that Clare was leaving for “personal reasons,” without mentioning the real reason, that she refused to take the vaccine.
Clare took the letter to the head of human resources but was told that, “the New York State Labor Department would probably be instructed to side with the Department of Health and determine that you were fired for not following an order from your employer and not approve Unemployment Compensation. The meeting ended with him stating that it was the NYS Department of Health’s call and not Northeast Health and there was no way around it.”
“Not only have my sister’s rights as an employee been violated but her employer’s justification for terminating her is based on a falsehood on top of which she may be prevented from receiving Unemployment Insurance for this wrongful termination,” writes Clare’s sister.
As an addendum, Clare’s sister informs us that one of the daycare teachers who did take the seasonal flu shot on September 8th suffered a reaction less than a week later. Clare’s sister takes up the story;
“It began with symptoms similar to Pink Eye on her left side and then her eye swelled; the swelling then spread further down her check and then into her neck where a mass formed. This 30 year old mother of three has been unable to work since the symptoms in her eye surfaced, around the 14th. My sister Clare asked school officials if her ill coworker would be covered by Workers Comp and was told they believe she would be. The co-worker has been on antibiotics that don’t seem to be working. Her doctor told her if the RX doesn’t clear it up the “infection(?)” soon they’ll have to take more drastic action. My sister was told by her ill co worker: “Clare you were right to say no to the shot, the job isn’t worth it, I should never have gotten the shot.”
Clare is now facing unemployment as a result of refusing to take the seasonal flu vaccine, not to mention the H1N1 shot. Thousands of other health workers are now in a similar position whereby they will be forced to take the dangerous swine flu shot or be fired over the course of the next few weeks. Polls indicate that at least a third of nurses and health workers will refuse to take the vaccine and another third are still unsure. If even as little as a quarter of health care professionals stand up in unison and refuse to be intimidated into taking the shot, authorities will probably have to back off and make the shot voluntary.
However, Clare’s deeper concern is that another primary target of the first round of swine flu vaccinations, young children, will be even more vulnerable to having the shot forced upon them with no warning or notice whatsoever.
“My sister has three children in public school and is extremely concerned that the head of the New York State Department of Health, Dr. Richard Daines, will next decree the shots are mandatory for all school children,” writes Clare’s sister.
“She is prepared to home school them but is scared to death that in the mean time an UNANNOUNCED flu shot clinic will be sprung on school districts some morning to get around parental objections to having their children vaccinated. She has told her children in no uncertain terms are they to accept the shot(s) but realizes the Hobson’s choice they too may soon face and that they are so much less prepared than she to fight this unconstitutional authority.”

Things are definitely coming to a head. The hype and logistical build-up to this are totally unjustified given the low fatality rate. This swine flu mess is a sinister plot.
I’m doing what the guy in the video link below suggests: to pray and fast on September 28, 29, and 30. Queen Esther called a 3 day fast, and God saved the Jews from extinction. We should do no less today.

HELP!!!! I am a registered nurse in NY and the NY State DOH Commisioner Richard Daines has announced that ALL heathcare workers MUST receive the seasonal flu vaccine and the untested, unsafe H1N1 Vaccine before it is even ready for market!!! How can we fight this??? There is a rally being organized on September 29th in Albany and I plan on attending. My daughter was injured by vaccines and she remains non-verbal to this day (she is now 10 years old) and I will NEVER give her another vaccine or take one myself. For NYS government to MANDATE these unsafe vaccines is an OUTRAGE and we need to stop this!!!!

I agree with you Tina! I am a student at Downstate Med. ctr and all students are “required to be vaccinated. I will refuse this and face being expelled. Like another person mentioned if we unite as healthcare practitioners and students, this will change, but we need to be of one accord. I am going to do more research.

No job is worth losing your life over. You might have to do with a little less but it sure beats your family having to live without you. I think it all boils down to them making us makie a choice, your money or your life. I hope people are prepared to make this choice and be willing to do what it takes to to keep OUR “continuity”.

I’ll admit that I have seen Illuminati Project, too and I am open minded to everything except the fact that there’s no God. I think that religion separates people but, I try to see beauty in everything and say “PHIL: 4:8..Whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable…think about such things”. I think that if religion can lead someone to a better way of living, than it’s admirable.
On another note, dave dubayewatmyspace, I can totally relate to you when you say you can’t get through to your wife. My grandmother worked for Obomba, he brought her a car, she interviewed him on the radio in 92′ (Which lets me know he’s real) and she claims to love him like a son while my mom thinks he’s all the world needs. I don’t believe the wrist band is the Mark of the Beast. However, it is close enough to warrant a blanket refusal on principle alone. I believe the Mark is something that will be enforced at the time of the Abomination that causes Desolation, which will occur when the Beast (or antichrist as pre trib supporters fancy) proclaims himself to be God or as God. The Mark may be “voluntary” before hand, but will certainly be enforced when the Abomination occurs.

Here’s the plan. As a method of social disobedience, anyone who is mandated to take the flu shot should tell them that they cannot take the shot because they already have the flu. Then, take two weeks off (during flu shot period) at the expense of the Insurance Provider.

The mark may be the chip in the future (Hitachi has developed RFID smaller than a grain of sand) but that will be well into the Antichrist’s reign after Christians have been persecuted to almost extinction (A remnant will be alive and remain when the Lord comes.)

Would perhaps the chip or braclet identifying you as having taken it be the mark? This would identify you as having accepted what is asked of you and also enables you to buy, sell, travel? I truely believe that something BIG is coming up in the near future . Screw the 2012 thingy , that was all but a thought 10 years ago . It seems the Powers that Are always has a doomsday date in the future and that provokes fear into the very hearts of ( the Stupid ) people .
There is NO way that the largest army in the world could control , what , 400 million people in the U.S alone ? I have no problem in sacrficing everything if I believe in a cause and that’s what ‘ they ‘ are afraid of . ‘ They ‘ use fear and Death to intimidate you , but if you don’t have fear and you don’t care about Death , then that is the hardest enemy to defeat !

I’d say statistically speaking, going on past records, it’s a 50/50 tossup as to whether you are fatally/badly injured by this mild flu or the vax – either way, both bad outcomes are less than 1 in 10,000… If it was a VERY BAD STRAIN I’d say TAKE THE VAX. if you’re in a high risk group – mainly because SO MANY PEOPLE seem to want to REFUSE THE VAX.
Of course, the vax. mass-cull theory COULD be true but it hasn’t happened yet…
I wouldn’t be surprised if a few SOLDIERS (and possibly civilians) were secretly involved in OTHER VAX. TRIALS (possibly even BIOWEAPONS) – HELLLL, they’ve got to test them on HUMANS at some point before verifying their use in COMBAT – Now that is SICK!

I had long been predicting such a scenario and am waiting for my husband to come home from work with his pink slip. At least “Clare” stuck to her resolve and saved her health. In my area we have yet to see the full repercussions but I will say there is a full blown propaganda campaign out here – billboards, ads. Some are aware of the dangers but the majority are blind.

I also have been waiting for my employer to come up with requiring the vaccinations or loss of job. I’m getting older and I don’t care what they say. If I don’t want it I’m not taking it! Period. It’s my body and I decide what to put in it. Threatened with loss of job, I’ll make it, I always have. The way things are getting what kind of life is it going to be here on earth with all of this going on? I am not a defeatist, only realistic. Take their threats and peddle them to someone else. I’m not buying it without a fight.

If I were that daycare worker, I would quit that job rather than risk my health or life even in this tough economy. So either I would try to find a better job (one that doesn’t require taking a vaccine) and/or set up my own business!!!

What is going to happen when they go to the schools and tell our kids to line up and get the mandatory flu shot. It worries me that even though I tell my children they are not going to get the flu shot, they may not be able to resist or to escape when it all comes down. Children can get scared by the illusion of authority. Even though the rules are no cell phones at school I send my kids with them and direct them to go somewhere sale and call me if this happens so I can come get them.

I’ve been telling herd members at the college not to take the shots. Some were going to but not now. They thought the shot was a good thing at first. There’s a bill now in mass. legislature now to make it legal for the cops/troops to come in without a warrent and give you the shot and take your kids.

7-year-old boy dies of new-flu infection in Shiga

A seven-year-old boy in Moriyama, Shiga Prefecture, died Monday of influenza-related brain fever after being infected with the new H1N1 flu, the prefectural office said Tuesday. The boy became the youngest, and 18th, victim of the epidemic in Japan, including suspected cases, according to the Health, Labor and Welfare Ministry. His case is also the first involving a brain fever associated with the new strain of flu, it said.
The boy had previously suffered periodic fever syndrome, but the prefectural office said it has yet to confirm a link between his previous illness and the influenza-related brain fever. The office said the boy came down with a fever Saturday morning and ran a temperature of 40.6 degrees C on Sunday. He tested positive for the influenza A virus in abbreviated tests and was admitted to an intensive care unit at a prefectural hospital.

I am sad for the boy. This mutated virus is deadly. scary – just remember do not take the new H1N1 flu shot (anti-virus). It’s to scary- even american doctors fear the side effects. Only take it if it iss the last resort.

memyself: The flu shot is not an “anti-virus” … it’s a vaccination, meaning it carries dead H1N1 virus cells so your body has a better chance at fighting off an infection. Please do some research on vaccinations.

Curious why the “seasonal flu” shot is now being mandated by these employers, let alone the H1N1? My Dr. asks each year if I want it, strictly voluntary. But this is way to early. Sometimes even if you want one you can not get it until at least late Oct. or into Nov. So they have one earlier this yr. that will cover current strains? To me this whole thing is blown WAY out of proportion!!!
