Dead or Alive? Osama bin Laden: A Marketing Tool for US-NATO Military Operations

In 1961, upon leaving office, President Eisenhower warned of the danger of a military-industrial takeover of information, power, and resources in a democracy[1] .
His dark vision has been steadily unfolding. Since September 11, 2001, world, and particularly US military budgets, have grown enormously[2], when the focus of the entire planet should have been on the ecological crisis.
There is no time to lose in mounting effective worldwide action against global warming, and it is now essential that we have the correct information about the events underpinning the war on terror: 9/11 and the role of Osama bin Laden.
A recent survey of news reports covering Osama bin Laden from 2001 to 2009[3] has provided overwhelming evidence that the al Qaeda leader has been dead since December 13, 2001, and that all messages that have been aired since that time have been fabricated[4] [5].
A long-buried 2001 CBS Evening News report, researched by foreign correspondent Barry Petersen and presented by Dan Rather, featured two hospital staff witnesses who saw bin Laden escorted into a military hospital in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, on the evening of September 10, 2001. He was there to receive kidney dialysis [6].
One witness reported, “they moved out all the regular staff in the urology department and sent in a secret team to replace them,” to treat a very special person. “The military had him surrounded,” said another hospital employee, “and I saw the mysterious patient helped out of a car. Since that time, I have seen many pictures of the man. He is the man we know as Osama bin Laden. I also heard two army officers talking to each other. They were saying that Osama bin Laden had to be watched carefully and looked after.”[7]
Yet seven years later, President Obama, relying on military intelligence, states that bin Laden is “almost certainly” hiding in the mountains bordering Afghanistan and Pakistan, the “most dangerous place in the world” for the American people[8].
However, only 25% of American want more troops in Afghanistan and almost twice that many want fewer [9].
Many Americans may recall that no messages have been intercepted between bin Laden and his followers since mid-December 2001, which was precisely the time of an unconfirmed funeral announcement, covered by Fox News, that bin Laden had died and been buried in the Tora Bora region of Afghanistan[10].
A deeper question should be inspired by the fact that the US Department of Justice has never indicted bin Laden for the attacks, nor does the FBI’s “Most Wanted Terrorist” page list him as wanted for 9/11. A spokesman openly admitted that “the FBI has no hard evidence connecting Bin Laden to 9/11.” [11]
It appears that bin Laden may be no more than a marketing tool for imperialistic military operations. A brilliant tool indeed, if the obsessive hunt for him were not blocking our response to the foundational issue of global warming.
It is vital to all nations that the many 2001-02 reports of bin Laden’s end-stage renal disease [12], and subsequent death, be resurrected to urge an investigation into who has been issuing fake audio and videotapes since 2001[13].

Indeed world governments should press the United States for an impartial, transparent investigation into the events of 9/11, with subpoena power to interview witnesses who were never called in the travesty that passes as the “9/11 Commission Report” (2004). The Commissioners themselves have publicly condemned C.I.A. obstruction to key witnesses [14].
Meanwhile, the United Nations should be given the responsibility and resources to protect the oil-rich Middle East from further imperialistic aggression. All national troops should be withdrawn and any efforts at stabilization should be led by the UN.
Then finally it might be possible to transform the global military economy into a cooperative alternative energy economy.

When you compare Bush to Bin Laden it is hard to tell who is the tyrant, but when you compare Cheney to Bin Laden it is more obvious. Bin Laden was dying and easy to blame since they have used him already for years why not in death? I think they will need a new cover because the first is blown wide open.

An interesting article, however, it insinuates that the military budgets/spending is causing global warming (now called climate change). Why couldn’t you stick to what you had to say about the subject you were researching? Just say: Osama is/was a U.S. excuse for its actions in the middle east? But you had to sick global climate change into the mix. Unfortunately, your poor choice has the profound effect of making me (and others) question your objectivity.
Lesson to all posters: Stay focused on the task at hand, otherwise you look foolish/uneducated/unorganized/crazy, etc.

I’d make the connection that WAR (and homeland MILITARY TRAINING) & the INDUSTRIALIZED MILITARY (even in peace times) are the MOST DESTRUCTIVE and USELESS waste of resources on the PLANET! Even when the world’s MILITARY is just ticking over, the resource wastage (not just OIL/URANIUM/FUEL) is ridiculous.
I acutally believe LAND ICE is MELTING at a faster rate than ever. Sea levels are rising – man-made or not. This is another reason to come to some INTERNATIONAL AGREEMENT. I’m not talking the REVOLTING idea of WORLD GOVERNMENT/GOVERNANCE but an internatioanl DISARMAMENT TREATY with incentives for MILITARY SUPPLIERS of the techno. kind to move into PERSONAL / small-scale power, water-purification, CONSTRUCTION / infrastructure support.

While I agree with the author of this piece, Elizabeth Woodworth, that Osama bin Laden has, most likely, “assumed room temperature” LONG before even “Operation Iraqi Freedom” commenced, her comments on “Global Warming” bespeak a VAST ignorance of the sciences behind climate change. I would estimate she has imbibed a significant serving of Al Gore’s “Global Warming” Kool-Aid! Every scientist worth their diploma (i.e.: those that follow real SCIENCE rather than the “unreal” propaganda of POLITICS) agrees that “Global Warming” is a total SCAM, which will be used to further the Globalist Agenda to enslave the propagandized “sheeple” of the world.
Just a single point: the “Global Warming” advocates claim that “Global Warming” will “…melt the ice caps and cause the oceans to rise and flood out the coastal cities…” A simple experiment, which I performed in elementary school over 50 years ago and that anyone can perform in their own kitchen, demonstrates the complete FALLACY of this argument: take a glass and fill it to the top (but not OVER the top!) with ice cubes and then add water to the top; allow the ice to melt and note where the water line is! If this simple and easily disprovable claim is PATENTLY WRONG, how much more of the “Global Warming” SCAM is EQUALLY FALSE? That a SUPPOSEDLY “trained scientist” would fall for the “Global Warming” FRAUD is more of an indictment of the “dumbed down” American so-called “education” system than almost any other fact I could cite!

Go after the Bilderbergs, Obama is protecting them, just as the media protects Obama. They aren’t supposed to exist remember? I bet they will exist real quick when they are surrounded, and being placed under arrest, I bet they’ll want full media coverage then! The Logan Act violations are enough to get them in custody, then while they are in custody all of the other evidence against them can be uncovered from their computers etc.
The bottom line is the media is helping Obama by attacking Sheen, just like always. More people will be led down the rabbit hole thanks to the media attention, but at this point I believe these criminals think they can afford more people stumbling on to the truth. PARIS (Reuters) – A documentary says French special forces had Osama bin Laden in their sights twice about three years ago but their U.S. superiors never ordered them to fire.
The French military, however, said that the incidents never happened and the report was “erroneous information.”
The documentary, due to air next year and seen by Reuters on Tuesday, says the troops could have killed the al Qaeda leader in Afghanistan but the order to shoot never came, possibly because it took too long to request it.
“In 2003 and 2004 we had bin Laden in our sights. The sniper said ‘I have bin Laden’,” an anonymous French soldier is quoted as saying.
The documentary ‘Bin Laden, the failings of a manhunt’ is by journalists Emmanuel Razavi and Eric de Lavarene, who have worked for several major French media outlets in Afghanistan. A cable television channel plans to air the documentary in March.
Razavi said the soldier told them it took roughly two hours for the request to reach the U.S. officers who could authorize it but the anonymous man is also quoted in the documentary as saying: “There was a hesitation in command.” >>>cont
