Debunking911.com: A Sophisticated Neocon Propaganda Site

METHINKS THEY PROTESTETH TOO MUCH!
A website calling itself ‘Debunking 9/11 Conspiracy Theories’ seems to have certain characteristics that look suspiciously like neoconservative propaganda websites. Even the opening background colour is almost identical to the old Project for the New American Century website indicating, perhaps, that the same webmaster is behind this website.
debunking9/11.com is a very sophisticated, extensive and professionally put together website that clearly has had a lot of expensive expertise poured into it. It goes to extraordinary lengths to attempt to debunk the evidence that has presented itself on the internet over the last seven years as an alternative to the US government’s version of the events of 9/11, but – and this is where the site gives itself away – it doesn’t attempt to debunk just some aspects of the new evidence that has been presented, but it tries to debunk every bit of it. It is that characteristic that defines it as a propaganda site rather than a site that is scientifically objective with its arguments.
But what really gives it away is the rhetoric and tone of the narrative, which is presented in a pseudo-technical pseudo-academic way, but which is transparently intermingled with outright neoconservative propaganda which has nothing to do with the events of 9/11.

Take, for example, this on the ‘Osama bin Laden’ page of their website:
“Conspiracy theorists like to say ‘Some Arabs with box cutters couldn’t have pulled this off.’ Let’s forget for a minute how racist that statement is”.
Firstly, of course, one needs to ask; what conspiracy theorists like to say ‘Some Arabs with box cutters couldn’t have pulled this off’? Trying to cast those that doubt the US government’s official version of the events of 9/11 as ‘racists’ is a classic neoconservative tactic used because of the connotations of the word ‘racist’ has with ‘anti-Semitism’.
The other classic attribute that gives the website its distinctive neoconservative characteristic is the way it attempts to belittle and demonise those that advocate alternative scenarios to the events of 9/11. The website even has a page dedicated to attacking Professor Steven E. Jones and Professor David Ray Griffin as well as others that have put forward ideas that are not in line with the government’s version of events.
One has to ask who has paid for this professionally put together and very sophisticated yet transparently propagandising website. Only dedicated neoconservatives with a political agenda of trying to prevent the truth of the events of 9/11 being exposed would go to such great lengths as producing such an obvious propaganda website. One can only assume that those seeking the truth must be on to something for the neocons to put this much effort into trying to prevent the truth from being revealed.

Search the homepage for “pentagon” — nothing. Search the site for “pentagon,” click the first result, scroll down to see how they chose to show among the photos of the facade only a cropped photo completely covered in black smoke. The obviousness of their embarrassment at the actual photos of the facade (hence not showing them) would be funny, if it weren’t so sad on so many levels.

And yet when you read the site it’s all about criticizing Alex Jones and the work he did.
So it’s ok to attack someone out in the open but you yourself can remain anonymous?

wow, this is basically just a hit piece on alex jones and those who try to reveal the truth.
they condradict themselves quite a few times.
one example is when they are trying to rationalize Silverstiens “pull it comment”
they try to say that “pulling” they were talking about was identical to the cables that they attached to an 8 story building to pull it down.
well how in the hell did they attach cables to a 47 story tall building and pull it down in a couple of hours?
and then with the thermite and explosions.
if thermite was used and it doesnt explode why were explosive charges heard.
but then they go on to say well thermite needs an explosive charge to set fire.
and because these charges didnt go off in the blast of the plane then there is no way the devices could have survived the 1100 C heat, but what about the people who were standing in the windows of the floors that were hit.
im pretty sure there are devices that are more resistant to heat than the human body.

Sophisticated Neocon. There’s an oxymoron for ya. I read a lot of the comments on this sight and most of them are great. I really wonder how many of us are there? Ron Paul got about 1.2 million votes. But when you consider what McCain alone got not to mention the democrat twins I know what is meant by a voice crying in the wilderness. Oh well, I’ll just keep on going, hope you guys do too.

Gee.. didn’t see any proof that an airplane hit the pentagon. Until I see conclusive evidence that an aiplane hit the pentagon on 9/11 then I will be asking for an independent investigation. This neocon site.. is pure hogwash.

I remember reading this site a while back, I definitely thought that something was wrong with it. It is too professional to be made by “just some random guy”. I’d be surprised if it wasn’t a huge propaganda campaign which has had thousands of dollars pumped into it.

That is a Web site defending the official story,
& attacking all of those who do not believe it.
It does not convince me the official story makes sense.
Anyway, the whole thing is but a huge propaganda war.
As I say, 9/11 fits in the general pattern
of money laws and marijuana laws, etc..
It is plainly possible for some huge lies
to become successful, dominating ones.
In the end,
the thing that actually props up the official story
is that they are the best organized criminal gang.
For me, one test is what is the opinion

What would have persuaded me was IF

on 9/12/2001 … BUT IT NEVER DID!
All the people responsible for

were promoted thereafter.
Clearly, it was possible for the huge
conspiracy that created things like
the Federal Reserve Board to occur.
Clearly, it was possible for many
other huge lies to control things.

Another dead give away is they link to sites who attack no-planers. Which is exactly why the no-plane theory was created. The no-plane nuts represent themselves as being a part of the truth movement, when in fact, they are not. Defunct debunking sites like debunking911 are created to attack these disinformants, supposedly disproving the entire truth movement. Debunking911.com attacks the truth movement because they don’t want you to question the events of 9/11. What exactly is wrong with questioning your reality? Why don’t they want you to research the information the sites they attack, provide? If the official story (the story debunking911 promotes) is exactly what had happened, why do they feel the need to create a site dedicated to telling you that others are wrong and what they tell you is the complete truth? When in fact, the sites they attempt to debunk advise their visitors to research the facts for themselves. I took that advice, because it is common sense. And through my own research, I created TruthgoneWild blog, because the research uncovers the truth, and opens your eyes. Remember, Truth has proof, so do the research yourself and come to your own conclusions about the events of 9/11.

When Alex Jones starts calling for Expelling the Jesuits and has the guts to identify their tentacles in all these so-called “global elite” and “the they” and “luciferian” and “new world order” – including exposing Jones’ pal, notorious antisemite and Gesuit Pat Buchanan – then we can begin to think about laying aside our suspicions.
Folks, the mysterious “they” has a name: Gesuits. They want to make Pope ruler of the world. THAT is what it is all about.

Be nice if we could find out a little more about the fire system re-fit that the world trade centres underwent just prior to the collapse. I mean, the facts are tantalising but a little elusive here. There were no CCTV cameras in operation during that period, and a bunch of guys spent time ‘inspecting’ the columns for ‘fire safety’. What company did the re-fit? Who were the actual individuals that carried out the work? Did anyone see them spraying chemicles on the beams? What floors were inspected? What equiptment did the engineers bring into the building? Where’s the paper-trail, the contract for the work?
If anyone can comment on this, or direct me to info specificly about this part of the investigation, I’d appreciate it. This underlooked part of the mystery needs some digging.
I can just imagine a bunch of smug special forces dudes posing as fire inspectors and building engineers. The would removed strategic areas of the fire-proofing protecting the beams, and replace it with a layers of nano-thermate, which was probably color-matched to mimic the appearance of the fire-proofing. Then, a tiny wireless detonator would have been concealed against the new thermate coating. Then all that would be required would be the correct radio/microwave signal, and bye bye supporting columns.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the smug special forces guys had no idea what they were doing at the time, aside from following weird orders. But I’m sure they would have been ‘taken care of’ before the buildings fell to conceal the crime.

We need these propaganda sites as much as we need our own. Any “conspiracy theorist” worth his salt spends just as much time reading the opposition’s arguments and evidence as he would reading something that supports his theories. To do otherwise would be disingenuous. If you cannot read the articles on this site, and understand without being told why the information is flawed, then you cannot sufficiently explain anything you claim as truth.

The Alex Jones quote on their homepage is taken grossly out of context. It is presented as an endorsement of their webpage, when it is clearly not in the context of this article. The rambling, self-important tone of this webpage is classic propaganda, a steady blather of insults, assumptions, and straw-man attacks, on the pretext of scientific discussion. There are so many smoking guns regarding 9/11, any one of which cripples the official story, bringing down the whole house of cards. I try to tell people who snub 9/11 truth: “if there is even the slightest chance that this is true, wouldn’t you want to know?” Considering the chaos the world has degenerated into over the last 7 years, and how it all hinged on this one event, you would think people could understand the need for a full-disclosure, independent investigation. People don’t want to rock the boat, jeopardize their sweet job, be perceived as a “weirdo” in a society where surface trumps substance. They cannot make the connection that if they don’t speak out en masse, all their precious material possessions will be taken from them before long, anyway.
On the bright side, this is the strongest year i’ve seen for 9/11 truth where I am from. Perhaps, we are reaching a critical mass. Times are too crazy, the media is too fake, the government is shockingly corrupt, etc. The truth is rising and at the end of the day, we can hopefully restore some of the honesty and integrity that will prevent this terrible chapter in human history from playing like a broken record.
