    Since the dawn of civilization, the history of mankind has been framed by the
    struggle between those who desire freedom and those who seek to restrict it. This
    struggle has spanned thousands of years, led to countless wars,revolutions, and
    other forms of civil strife all across this planet,and yet there has never been a
    time when the freedoms and natural born rights of Americans as well as all of
    humanity have been so gravely in danger. In this technologically advanced age,
    where several nations possess arsenals of weapons capable of destroying the entire
    planet, the greatest threat to the survival and continued progress of Americans is
    not nuclear weapons. Rather, the greatest threat to the life, liberty,and pursuit
    of happiness of all mankind is the ever increasing power of oppressive governments
    around the world, the most heinous and dangerous of them cloaked in the guise of
    democracy and freedom, when the reality couldn’t be further from the truth. When
    we analyze humanity’s past, we find that it has always been the case that the most
    prosperous societies have also been the most free. For it is only when men and
    women are free that they can prosperous and fulfill their full potential. “We hold
    these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are
    endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are
    Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights,
    Governments are instituted among Men,deriving their just powers from the consent
    of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of
    these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to
    institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing
    its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety
    and Happiness.” – Thomas Jefferson With those eloquent words and the
    ideas they represent to guide their hearts,Thomas Jefferson, as well as the other
    founding fathers and the first generation of Americans, in the interests of
    securing their freedom and liberty, waged a war against what was at the time the
    most powerful empire in the world. Even though an almost insurmountable task lay
    ahead of them, they did not shirk their duty because they knew that liberty is
    more important than even life itself. In the end it was their passion for the
    cause of freedom and justice that enabled them to defeat the British Empire, and
    establish a free and prosperous nation. Although a similar,and in many ways even
    greater task awaits us, unlike our founding fathers, we are not opposed by an
    overseas threat. Our enemies and the enemies of freedom and justice, although
    foreign and vile in their beliefs and sense of morality, are from this great
    nation and feign allegiance to it. Their stated goal is to enslave Americans and
    eventually the entire world in order to return us to the backward and oppressive
    system of feudalism which Europeans and Westerners in general have long ago
    shunned. They do this so that they and their descendants can form a small class
    of elites which will rule over us all and control every aspect of our lives. In
    order to accomplish these goals they have shown themselves to be more than willing
    to try anything and everything at their disposal, including the use of biological,
    chemical, and other forms of weapons with the stated aim of decreasing the
    population of mankind to more manageable levels. They have done the following
    against the interests of this nation and it’s citizens in order to profit from the
    death and destruction and enslavement of the people they claim to serve. They
    have instituted a privately owned central bank which creates fiat currency,
    loaning it to our government at interest, and created the unconstitutional Federal
    Income Tax in order to pay off this debt. For three months every year, American
    citizens work solely to fill the coffers of a small group of bankers, financial
    elite, and the governments of other nations, and yet the national debt is
    increasing and is unlikely to ever be paid off completely. They have waged several
    wars in the past century alone which have resulted in the loss of tens of
    thousands of American lives and trillions in taxpayer money, purely for the profit
    of a small group of bankers,politicians, and financial elite, the most recent of
    which is the illegal war in Iraq. In instances when they could not find a good
    justification for war, they have instigated calamitous events or have tried to do
    so, in order to manipulate the public into favoring war. For instance, the
    Japanese were allowed to bomb Pearl Harbor even though the military leaders and
    president Roosevelt knew days in advance that they would do so, because they were
    looking for a way to get America involved in WWII. Similarly, the attacks of
    September11, 2001 were perpetrated by our own government but blamed on Arab
    terrorists, in order to wage several wars in the Middle East and Africa for the
    theft of oil and other resources in those nations. They have waged a war against
    the liberties of the citizens of this nation, through countless new laws and other
    forms of legislation being passed which infringe upon the natural born rights of
    all Americans. These new laws now grant our government the ability to set up
    illegal checkpoints in American streets and search the homes of citizens without a
    warrant, which is a clear violation of the Fourth Amendment to the Constitution.
    They also have the ability to monitor all sorts of information regarding the daily
    lives of Americans including what books they check out from the library, what they
    do while using the internet, what they say while speaking on telephones or cell
    phones,among various other things which are too numerous to list. We the citizens
    of this great nation have become slaves within our own country. And, lest we
    think this is the end of government interference and control over our lives, there
    are even more dangerous laws and technologies on the horizon, all designed to
    further enslave and oppress us. The government now possesses the technological
    ability to implant microchips inside all Americans and track their every movement
    and every financial transaction as well as various other devices and plots which
    they have devised in order to see us further enslaved. Therefore, due to all of
    the above violations and numerous others, we the citizens of these United States
    declare our independence from this corrupt and tyrannical government and affirm
    our natural born rights to life,liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, which our
    forefathers fought and sacrificed for in order to secure for us. Our stated aim
    is to return this nation to it’s founding principles and once again create a
    country where elected representatives serve the bests interests of the people and
    uphold the Constitution. We shall pursue this difficult but noble quest to the
    best of our abilities so that one day we and our descendants can experience true
    freedom and justice. As long as were main true to our cause, we shall not suffer
    defeat because we have within us the capability to see our nation become free and
    prosperous once again or to become further enslaved and destroyed. For just as
    Abraham Lincoln once said, “America will never be destroyed from the outside. If
    we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.”
    Therefore, whether we choose the path to freedom and justice or the path to
    turmoil and oppression is within our own control. We can choose to lay back and
    allow a small group of bankers, politicians, and financial elite oppress us, or we
    can resist and once again reclaim our natural born rights and free our nation from
    all threats both foreign and domestic. Because, humanity always desires freedom
    over oppression, there is no doubt that the American people will resist in order
    to secure their rights and take back control of this great nation.

      I like how it is framed in a post modern context by recognizing its place in history. Needs to be better organized with a bulleted list of points. Again, it draws the big picture and tries to fill in the details rather than give the details and hint at the big picture.
