DHS Doles Out Fed Cash to Deploy Military LRADs in U.S. Cities

The LRAD devices used against protesters and the residents of Pittsburgh last month were a beta test for things to come. As reported by the Washington Times on October 1, the Department of Homeland Security is doling out federal money to get police departments around the country stocked up on the LRAD weapons.
“With the help of Homeland Security grants, police departments nationwide looking to subdue unruly crowds and political protesters are purchasing a high-tech device originally used by the military to repel battlefield insurgents and Somali pirates with piercing noise capable of damaging hearing,” write Jerry Seper and Chuck Neubauer.
Cops use LRAD against people in Pittsburgh for the crime of assembly.

“It is designed to get people to do what police want. It makes them uncomfortable but does not hurt them,” he said Raymond DeMichiei, Pittsburgh’s deputy director of emergency management and homeland security.
In other words, as was the case in Pittsburgh, LRADs will be used prevent people from engaging in the First Amendment and the right to peacefully assembly and protest government policies.
American Technology stated in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing in September 2008 that the device is “capable of sufficient acoustic output to cause damage to human hearing or human health,” expressing concern that its misuse could lead to lawsuits. It is said the decibel range of the LRAD used in Pittsburgh was similar to standing next to an exploding IED.
“The association said that at 130 to 140 decibels, damage to the ear can be instantaneous, adding that the 145 to 151 range of the LRADS is ‘the kind of sound that can cause tinnitus and hearing damage immediately.’ Tinnitus is a condition that causes ringing in the ears, sometimes permanently,” the Times reports.
In 2006, The Discovery Channel described LRAD as a psychological weapon.
Trends forecaster Gerald Celente has an uncanny ability to predict the future. In 1987, he predicted the stock market crash and the fall of the Soviet Union. In November of last year he predicted revolution in America, food riots, tax rebellions, and angry people taking to the streets as the economy implodes and the nation is wracked by mass unemployment.
“America’s going to go through a transition the likes of which no one is prepared for,” said Celente.
It looks like the government will be prepared — to assault the desperate hordes that will gather and make demands on the government — and that is why the Department of Homeland Security is doling out wads of cash to militarized and federalized cops around the country for high-tech weapons.

(666 mark the beast) Ill give you my own theory. The bible says that the devil since the beginning has always tried to mimic the real God and I believe that most of us can testify to that. In the bible it says: “But only those men that don’t have the seal of God in their fore heads” (REV. 9:4) “The slaves of our God in their foreheads” (REV.7:3) “having his name(Jesus)and the name of his Father(Jehovah) written on their foreheads.”(REV.14:1) all the passages here the word “forehead” is symbolic for the human mind that controls the human soul and human heart. People with the seal or mark of Jesus name and the NAME of the true God, means people who only thought, think, do and did God’s true bidding. -that they should give these a mark in their right hand or upon their foreheads and that nobody might be able to buy or sell except a person having the mark, the name of the wild beast ( the Anglo American empire)or the number of its name. Well your inaccurate. There are a few stories about Jesus as a boy. We know he used to go the Temple with his parents and talk and teach there. Theres another story of Jesus at the Temple preaching and Mary had to find him and actually scolded him for not being with her. While there isnt much info about his childhood and teenage years, its generally accepted this was the time Jesus learned and was prepared for his adult ministry leading to his Crucifixion and subsequent resurection. Its amazing how Christians are persecuted constantly, regardless of political ideology, how ever not surprising as it is written that many many Christians will face persecution and death before Christ returns.

Go get another version of the Bible. Re-read the passages you cite. Also, if your version has a forward in the beginning of each book, read those. I believe you will find your answers.
I used to think Jesus was just a prophet and that the Bible was written by men. Then I had a conversion experience. I can’t make you believe, but I do….that the Bible is God’s word directly, and that Jesus Christ is indeed His divine son.
It’s worth the work. You don’t have anything else. Each one of us, our only salvation is in Jesus Christ. More than having food and shelter, you must have belief. Because when you die, “you don’t take nuthin’ with you but your soul”.

Alot of people that have near death survival stories nowadays, apparently started having halucinations and conversing with the imaginary companions. Its been credited as a survival instinct.

The loud sounds the LRAD emits may cause permanent hearing damage to those within its range. The LRAD sound wave can be cancelled altogether through the use of common earplugs. The better the earplugs are at blocking sound waves, the less effective the LRAD is. Sounds emitted from the LRAD can be reflected back to the source by using a flat solid object.

Think of it as a volume control on your home stereo. You turn the dial it gets louder. Earplugs will only help to a certain volume setting. If the signal is amplified to higher settings, you could sh!t and piss yourself. Your insides will vibrate until you puke. If turned up even more it could boil your sweat glands! We can hit them back in many many ways. For example, call and write the company that makes this device and tell them you do not want this thing used against Americans on American soil. Call and write your mayor, police chief, county board of supervisors, and any local governing body that would make the decision to acquire this device and tell them you don’t want it. Every weapon and measure has one or more counter measures. The LRAD is big and makes an easy target for a variety of flying objects. The sound beam it puts out is narrow, about 30 degrees. Always stand as far to side as you can. Use hearing protection in the form of ear plugs and headphones together. Don’t stop protesting because of LRAD. Anybody whose hearing gets damaged by LRAD should immediately hire the very best lawyer they can and sue the pants off the manufacturer and the police department and the city and anybody else involved in its aquisition, deployment and operation. Work to get laws passed that outlaw this device as a public noise nuisance. Fight back. Think up some of your own strategies and pursue them. We can win if we try and work hard at it.

From what I gathered, from the net, yes. A flat-planed surface (plywood,for example), will deflect the wave back to it’s source. Even though this looks so impressive, we can defeat their bulls--- technology with simple solutions. This is their weak spot. In Somalia, the US Army spread foam around that you can’t stand on, or walk on. Solution ( by “primitive” people) – everybody brought a plank. Lay down a plank, and everybody can walk across this crap. Also, a sticky substance spread on the surface of the “drum” will mess it up. The enemy has no imagination, they are just programmed idiot thugs. You are a Human Being with rights as a person, and you do have imagination and creativity. Use it!

LRAD is not fire proof. Get some homemade napalm (gasoline and styrofoam) and fill an easy to break bottle and put a wick in the opening and light the wick just before you throw it at LRAD. I think they call them Molotov Cocktails. Anyway, if you are successful, LRAD will go up in a ball of fire and will difficult to extinguish. Mission accomplished.

I respectfully disagree. You are simply wrong, sir/maam. Those of us who served in the military don’t have to guess about the role or position of Homeland Security. That agency has officially classified military vets and retired military as potential right wing terrorists. That is a matter of record. The reality is that radical Islam is devoted and dedicated to killing American citizens. I don’t think there is a Muslim behind every bush but there is a long list of young male Islamic extremists who have us in their cross-hairs and might be hiding behind some bushes.
On a different note, the best defense against LRAD is distance and separation, ear plugs and a set of noise canceling headphones. Alternatively, a set of “ear muffs” like you use at the gun range would work. LRAD has a range of about three city blocks and a 30 degree cone so stay back and well to the side if you happen to find yourself in proximity to one. Not sure about the possibility of deflecting the beam but suspect it would draw lots of unwanted attention quickly in trying to do so. With that said, I suspect that because it is an electronic device, LRAD might react in much the the same way your big screen television screen would if it was traveling at 2000 to 3000 feet per second and just happened to impact a ball bearing or something similar in composition.

Thebest thing about LRAD weapons is that if they harm you how are you going to prove it? Its hard to test what healthy hearing is versus slightly damaged hearing, and its even harder to convince someone that it wasn’t a pre-existing condition. Even people in their 30’s are shown to have natural, slight hearing loss. But if LRAD comes around and then you’ve got ringing in your ears for the rest of your life well its going to be hard to draw up a lawsuit. Seeing as how these things have already been proven to be “safe”, the burden lies heavily upon you.
Now remember to bring ear protection along with your gas masks. And of course three extra layers of clothes if you don’t want to be sporting billy club bruises all over your arms and legs for a week. And all of this is necessary even BEFORE you get to the protest site… lol

It also says that when the Jews inhabited Jerusalem. gentile rule until 1967 that that generation will not pass until the Lord comes back. Hitler even understood this and said he would become a Christian if Israel became a nation and the Jews would inhabit Jerusalem. He wanted to make this not possibile there fore proving the Bible isnt true. He disappeared just a few years before Israel became a nation in 1948.

There are information sites already set up for the LRAD. It gives the effective distance (300 to 500 ft) and decibel level (120 –150 db). Earplugs alone won’t work. To protect the head, you need headphones like they use at airports plus the earplugs. ALSO, SINCE THIS IS A SOUND WAVE, WHEN IT ENCOUNTERS A SOLID RESISTANCE, IT WILL REFLECT BACK THE WAY IT CAME. Shields of metal/rubber/any hard substance will reflect back the sound. Shields that are of softer material like wood will probably absorb the sound wave.
So, dress in sweats and other soft sound-absorbing cloth, wear earplugs and headphones to cover the outside of the ear as well.

Imagine if 10% of the population slated for extermination in America under the NWO agenda (90% of 300 million Americans = 270 million slated for extermination * 10% of that = 27 million not going to the FEMA camps without a fight). Now if they can trade on average at least 1 to 1 for their lives (not unreasonable, as the patriots know their own home, and the UN scum have to kick down the door and enter and find them, etc., thats 27 million dead UN scum.
You would be wise to fight back, if for no other reason, but to avoid torture!!! Dying in a blaze of gun fire would be painful yes as M-16 rounds shred your flesh, but it would be relatively quick if you go all out until death. Just hope they shoot you in the head. If you submit to the FEMA camps, they could decide to perform de-pressurizing experiments on you and your children (God knows that these Statinist want to do). How would you like to have your eyes blown out of their sockets in a vaccume chamber like what happened to some kids in the Nazi hospitals? How would you like to be tortured via slow starvation at best or through drug experimentation?

At all future protests, bring ear plugs and head phones. If you are all real patriots, then you should own firearms and thus, should already have earplugs and headphones.
ear plugs and head phones costing $20-$60 (maybe) can defeat a multi million dollar weapon!

Wrong. We don’t even know what the upward limits of this weapon’s capabilities are. I have been at rock concerts, in the past, where the volume of the amplifiers was loud enough to cause physical pain and the bass and drums were amplified enough to cause chest pains. That’s nothing compared to what this LRAD technology is capable of. This is a focused beam of ultra-sonic energy and if it is cranked up to the maximum level, it can probably incapacitate, if not kill. No ear plugs or headphones are going to afford any protection from this weapon because, even if earplugs can insulate your ears from the sound, it won’t be enough to make a difference, and ear plugs or headphones won’t protect the rest of your body from the effects of a highly amplified beam of ultrasound. Ultrasound is used to clean debris off of objects and, at that scale, it’s inaudible. Think what it can do at the volume levels and concentration this technology is capable of. This LRAD is probably capable of blowing holes in walls by the use of sound, alone. Think about it. What is sound? It is agitated air molecules. When that agitation is magnified 5,000 times over what a Marshall amplifier can crank out, we’re talking about some serious air movement – enough to at least knock you off your feet.

Is there any proof that these LRADs will be used at Town Hall Meetings and 912 Tea Party gatherings? If so, we can post on those sites. I can’t stand Glenn Beck because of the way he treated Dr. Paul during the primaries BUT he help did get 2 million people to march on Washington on 912. Imagine what 2 million people could do to stop the LRAD.
Or we could wait until the Darth Vaders use the LRAD on Granny and her WWII vet, flag-waving, America-loving husband. When it happens, we can get in on tape and the outcry will be huge!
