DHS-funded Video Warns of “Seven Signs of Terrorism”

It does not matter that al-Qaeda is not a threat to the homeland — you need to prepare for a terrorist attack regardless, according to PrepareMetro KC, a website put together by the Greater Kansas City region’s Metropolitan Emergency Managers Committee, which is funded by the Department of Homeland Security.

“Terrorist operations begin with extensive planning,” warns the federally funded website. “You can help prevent and detect terrorism — and other types of crime — by watching out for suspicious activities and reporting them to the proper authorities. Many of these activities, in and of themselves, may not indicate criminal activity. Taken together, however, they may be a cause for concern. If you observe people acting suspiciously, don’t hesitate to contact local law enforcement.”
Note our emphasis. It’s not so much about scary guys in turbans half way around the world in caves or hiding out in remote villages mired in the 16th Century. It’s about criminals engaged in “suspicious” behavior. According to the Ministry of Homeland Security and PrepareMetro KC, crime is a form of terrorism.
Federal money is now routinely used to fight crime under the aegis of fighting non-existent terrorism. Last year, for example, the feds teamed up with 50 federal, state and local law enforcement agencies engaged in an “anti-terrorism initiative” called Operation Sudden Impact. “Even though Memphis hasn’t suffered a terrorist attack, the city is using federal grants to fight crime, which might lead to the discovery of a terrorist suspect. Other cities are using federal money with similar programs,” the Commercial Appeal reported last April.
“Information gathered in the sweep will be reviewed by intelligence officers at the local Homeland Security center. The information will be forwarded to the state’s Homeland Security center in Nashville.”
71 people were arrested in the operation. Not one was a terrorist.
The PrepareMetro KC site has a nifty and nicely produced video — your tax dollars at work — instructing the good people of Kansas City on the “Seven Signs of Terrorism.” Basically the video tells people to be on the lookout for suspicious behavior and not to hesitate to report this to the police. The video shows a white male engaged in surveillance of “government buildings or military facilities,” attempting to get information on “critical infrastructure” from citizens, testing security, “acquiring supplies” (law enforcement equipment and identification, military uniforms and decals), and “suspicious behavior” such as unusual demeanor or being in areas where they “don’t belong,” etc.
Chances of a white al-Qaeda terrorist “probing” and engaging in “suspicious behavior” leading to an attack is slim to none, but then the point is not to catch a real terrorist who hates us because of our freedom. It’s about spreading around paranoia with government money. It’s also about another large government bureaucracy justifying its existence for the next fiscal year.

In other words, there are precious few if any terrorists in the country.
Of course, this does not stop the government from inventing fantastic terror scenarios that never play out, mostly to keep you on the edge of your seat so you will consent to the incremental dismantling of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
“The universe of crime and terrorism stretches out infinitely before us, and we too are working to find what we believe to be out there but cannot always see,” declared FBI Director Robert S Mueller in February. In order to drive home the point, Mueller rolled out the scary prospect of a Mumbai styled terror attack by “home-grown terrorists” and others.
In the meantime, the FBI spends its time monitoring the real threat to the establishment — the antiwar movement. “The FBI has collected extensive information on the tactics, training and organization of antiwar demonstrators and has advised local law enforcement officials to report any suspicious activity at protests to its counterterrorism squads, according to interviews and a confidential bureau memorandum,” the New York Times reported in November, 2003.
Likewise the DHS. “The U.S. Department of Homeland Security tracked the protest plans of a peaceful Washington area antiwar group and passed the information to the Maryland State Police, which had previously labeled the activists as terrorists in an intelligence file,” the Washington Post reported in February. In 2006, the ACLU released documents revealing an effort by the DHS and the Pentagon to spy on antiwar groups in California. Russ Knocke, then DHS spokesman, categorized this violation of civil liberties as “an important public safety mission” and said the agency will “maintain situational awareness of large public gatherings and share that with state and local partners.”
It is no mistake the KC video portrays a white male and not an Arab toting and AK47 and wearing a keffiyeh. The purpose of the video is to prompt locals to spy on their neighbors, foster a snoop climate, and in general heighten the level of paranoia required as the government implements its police state control grid.

I am from the KC area. It is getting kinda surrealistic around here. makes me think the Govt. IS planning something, we just don’t know the whole story yet. One of the biggest FEMA camps in the Country is located at Richards Gebaur which was a old Airport, located near Grandview MO. Alex did a video about it.
Yesterday 2 C-130’s flew over my property at treetop level. Never seen anything like it. I am at least 20 miles from nearest Airport, and nothing like that has happened before. They appeared to be “scoping” or possibly practicing for something. Not sure, but they maintained flight path until out of sight. They were about as low as I think a c-130 can fly. Could there be a plan to “when the time is right” drop supplies , troops etc? kinda freaky. Almost Red Dawnish. And they wonder why we stock up on guns ammo, food and water. Oh BTW if you stock up you are a “terrorist now” How “conveinent”.. for them!

They (infowars) do have to get more info, but why would they (the gov.) use a private driver? It depends, maybe it’s because he’s expendable. Maybe it is disinformation, and they knew this guy would talk. Maybe it keeps the transportation manifests off of government lists that are (presumably) viewable by the public. This new video was scary….i found it on liveleak.com yesterday….now, the women who called into Coast to Coast seemed lucid enough and didn’t seem like she had “rehearsed” the call and i do not DISCOUNT anything!! Yes, there needs to be more facts uncovered to back this accusation. I was in the military…. you have no idea how much religious fervor was paraded around by the churches and clergy. They were making 9/11 into a Biblical event so questioning it was blasphemy.
Many guys were going crazy thinking this was a Crusade for Christ and they were just itching to kill as many Arabs as possible. Now things have cooled down and so many of my buds are depressed about what they did to so many Iraqi people. here are some good movie ideas for hollywood:
1) LAND MINES IN THE BIG FARMER’S FIELDS. not the small mines that will blow off your leg, but the big ones they used in WWII to blow up tanks. an attack on the food supply will make city people starve within months. all those fucking braindead urbanites will realize immediately how important the farmers are and that we need a lot of full-time, small family farms and not a lot of corporate farmers gobbling up all the acres.
2) SPREAD RABIES. the rabies virus would be a horrible biological attack on a major city. put it in the drinking water or in the food supply. wait a few weeks and then you will see people in that area foaming at the mouth and very aggressive. the best part about it is that rabies is a virus that is abundant in nature so you don’t have to buy it from a scientist. all you have to do is wait for a sick animal to enter your yard. then shoot it. then take the brain out and put it in a blender with some water. then put the syrum into a container and spread it everywhere you choose.
3) BLOW UP A POWER STATION. thousands will have to live without electricity for a few days, weeks, or maybe even months. could you imagine if 100,000 people in new york city had to live without electricity for a few months during the winter? that’s too funny to even imagine. lol

I read a while back where Kansas City is/will be ‘headquarters’ for the North American Union. If they ‘legalize’ people that have crossed into the US, wonder if the new ID cards will show any types of visual or digital modifications that are attached to a North American Union.
It seems to me that it is or it was inevitable that people on this World were going to become more and more interconnected. Technology has speeded this process up. Throughout history, people have always traded goods amongst themselves. The Far East with Europe, the MidEast with Africa, the Oceanic countries India…..and all vice-versa…all of these trading materials, food, spices, clothing, cultures and religious beliefs all ‘mixing’. Problems have and do arise when ‘governments’ become activley engaged and domineering where citiizens would rather be left alone to live, work and trade with little or no interferences from ‘governments’. Wars even are planned and carried out becasue ‘governments’ want a cut of the action from drone activities.
Some of us do buy food products fromoutside the country, whether they be spices, fruits or vegetables. Some items simply do not grow in the US. But you notice, it’s the ‘government / corporate’ type folks that decide and write the laws for trade & commerce and us peons around the World are not invited into the decision making processes. They are and have been setting up an ‘order’ to their own likeing.
I feel more and more like a damned fish in an aquarium; having the environment around me picked out and given to me by ‘masters’…having fresh water when the ‘masters’ decide if & when it is ok or not ok…having a heater and how that heater is to be used or when fresh oxygen is or can not be allowed……or having ‘masters’ decide for me what types of food is dropped my way and at what time. Now the ‘masters’ seem to have added another tidbit to aquarium Life. Sharks.

So much wrong with this infomercial. What is the line between giving potential terrorists information about how to plan an attack and giving others information about what to look for? A lady wearing red on red; is this colour coding? Some activities by ordinary people are argued to be suspicious, like sitting and reading in a park or stocking ammunition.
