DHS, Military Police, Law Enforcement Plan Checkpoint in Tennessee

An Infowars reader has sent a page taken from the Hardeman County, Tennessee, Bulletin Times announcing a seat belt checkpoint to be conducted on April 4 “in conjunction with a Homeland Security training exercise by the 251st Military Police in Bolivar who recently returned from Iraq” (see a PDF version of the announcement here, on page two).
Although uniformed military personnel will be visible at the checkpoint, the military participation will be strictly observation. The military police uses checkpoints to disseminate information and ensure safe movement in the event of a terrorist attack, natural disaster or other large-scale emergency.

The operation in Tennessee is similar to one held last December in San Bernardino County, California, and reported by Branson Hunter of the Big Bear Observation Post blog and Infowars on December 14, 2008. The California operation was a collaboration between the California Highway Patrol and the Marine Corps Air and Ground Combat Center. It did not include Homeland Security.
“Dispatching Marines on California highways is an obvious violation of the Posse Comitatus Act (18 U.S.C. § 1385) passed on June 16, 1878. The Act prohibits members of the federal uniformed services, including military police, from working with state and local police and law enforcement,” we reported in December. The seat belt checkpoint in Tennessee with the participation of military police is also a direct violation of the Posse Comitatus Act.
In response to an editorial critical of the operation in San Bernardino County broadcast by KCDZ-FM in Joshua Tree, California, the California Highway Patrol sent the radio station a fax indicating the action would not include military police. It was later reported that uniformed military police in marked military police vehicles teamed up with the California Highway Patrol in the town of Yucca Valley, California.

Gary Daigneault, News Director at KCDZ-FM, went on the Alex Jones Show on December 15 and said the CHP was less than forthcoming about their plans to set-up checkpoints. The California Highway Patrol is required to provide the location of its checkpoints to the media at least two hours prior. Although the CHP did provide the radio station with a telephone number to get this information, when the number was called there was no answer, Daigneault said in his radio editorial (listen to the editorial and view the faxes).
“It should be obvious the Marines and the California Highway Patrol are engaged in a disinformation campaign against the media in order to cover up their illegal and unconstitutional behavior,” we wrote on December 15. “Not only do they want to entrap the residents of San Bernardino County in their ’sobriety/driver license checkpoint’ in violation of the Fourth Amendment protecting the people against unreasonable searches and seizures, they also want to send a message that the military will henceforth be involved in domestic law enforcement in direct violation of Posse Comitatus.”

DHS will likely argue they are not conducting the checkpoints in Tennessee and are there only as monitors. However, this point will be lost on the victims of the checkpoints when they see uniformed military police and DHS personnel.
In California, the attention of the media put the CHP and the Marines on the defensive. Last month, the coverage of the MIAC documents in Missouri by Alex Jones resulted in wide coverage of the issue in the corporate media. In response to the attention, the Missouri State Police and the governor of the state were obliged to repudiate the document and order an investigation into the Missouri Information Analysis Center’s practice of designating followers of political candidates Ron Paul, Bob Barr, and Chuck Baldwin as “militia” terrorists.
Attention placed on the operation in Tennessee will produce similar results.

published several letters in the editorial section of the paper—which really
stirred the pot.
The county Sherrif is also critical in protecting citizens from unwarranted
searches. Find out who your sheriff who is and find out if he is honoring
his sworn oath to protect the people of his county from Federal abuse.
Our Sheriff has been to FBI training seminars and is after Fed funding.
It looks unlikely he will be defending us from the Feds. I will try to ask
him where he stands at the next meeting. I’m sure it will get the room
talking.

errrm, I find it odd that Info wars is not aware of this. Bush signed into law the repeal of posse comitatus with this act, John Warner Defense Authorization Act of 2007″ (H.R.5122) (2). With this bill, the president can use military forces to police USA citizens in the event of “national emergency”. And I think we all know how vague that is. People are still worried about an emerging police state? Dont waste your breath or time, its already here. Start thinking about how we are going to get out of it.

I wrote this to that mayor:
Dear Mr. Mayor,
It has come to the citizens attention that illegal roadblocks under the subterfuge of “seatbelt” checks,(which are in themselves illegal,) are being conducted with the illegitimate DHS created under false pretenses by George Bush, which is illegal under the constitution and the military which is further a violation of Posses comitatus which George Bush did nOT have the authority to subvert and supplant..
If you study the federal constitution and the federalist papers intently as many of us have, you would quickly see that at no time are any federal officers or military to violate the sovereignty of any State, the individual states being sovereign! The dept. Of homeland security is particularly grievous in that in very purpose and the reason for which it was created WA under subterfuge of the 911 event which was perpetrated by rogue elements of the government. Therefore, they have no authority over the people or law enforcement as the purpose is repugnant to the intent and letter of the supreme law of the land and to the people to who they are not held accountable to.
As for the military’s presence, it should go without saying that that is absolutely illegal and a federal offense, in that it is a violation of your oath to uphold preserve and defend the constitution. That action is further in violation of the will of the governed, and particularly grievous in that their contention is that they are committing terrorism (committing crimes against the public I order to encourage them to conform to political goals,) in order to justify the search for terrorists, which in that context, do not exist! This is demonstrable in that, the official lie that brought about these illegal laws is that, “terrorist” used planes to knock down our buildings, when in fact, the buildings fell at 11 stories a second, consistent with controlled demolitions, of which, controlled demolitions Inc were present before, during and after the demolition of the buildings, hence, it was not foreign terrorists nor citizens that committed the atrocities that facilitated this criminals activity against the people of these unites states. IN contravention, it is we the people who continue to be victimized BY the government for false pretenses other wise known as, provocateur/false flag events.
You cannot expect the public to respect you or them, demanding the obey a law that is NOT a law while you and the military are breaking out laws!
This will engender only disrespect! And contempt for all offending parties, in particular the State police who’s job it is to protect the citizenry against this sort of color of law tyranny as provided for in 18 USCS 1942.
I hope you will consider this situation deeply and work in favor of the citizens of that great state because the greatest tyranny is commited under the color of law and cover of justice.

I don’t know why, but i love psychology and i think that the real reason of why most TN citizens are so socially apathetic is the excess of egocentrism. No, they don’t say that at all. What they say is try and respect your fellow humans, but they say it in more detail so we all know what to expect. That’s part of patriotism too, is respecting life. Unfortunately, these uses of the military to do common police tasks will inevitably lead to real tyranny and abuse of power by police, military and, above all, the elected leaders of this country. We should all be willing to learn to work and play well with each other in order to fight this and other threats to our freedoms. I try and spread the word. I work in DC there are so many people that simply do not believe what is going on with Obama and the lies he tells. Knowing that the military is doing this for what? I would not cooperate if I lived in TN this is really sad…

Hey everyone-
At 8am this morning I started calling the numbers listed here.
My first call was to the Sheriff: Mr. Delphus Hicks
Phone: (731) 658-3971
-I spoke with the operator on duty, and she informed me that she was not aware of the checkpoint. She said that the duty officer would be in between 8:30am-9:00am. The lady that answered the phone was very nice and seemed to honestly not know what was going on. She told me to call back.
My 2nd call was to the Mayor’s office. Town of Whiteville Mayor- James Bellar 731-254-8523
Vice Mayor- Sidney Woods
-As you can see, the numbers are the same for the whole office. When I called this number, I got a loud screaching noise, which is, I assume, is a fax number. And of course, no one answered.
The 3rd number I called was the Whiteville, TN Police Department (731) 254-9450. I called around 8:15am and no one answered. I did call back just to make sure, and my call was transfered to a voicemail. The voice on the voice mail was male and had a pretty thick southern accent. Didn’t catch the name.
So, that is all I have to report this Friday morning. I’m headed to work. It’s up to you Inforwars to keep trying to find out what is going on up in Tennessee……..

IT IS CALLED THE LAW OF THE FLAG. Admiralty law The Admiralty Court Exists Because
the U.S. is Under Martial law
For example, Abraham Lincoln declared martial law during the Civil War. Martial law has not been lifted yet from his declaration of martial law, over a hundred years ago. This Awareness indicates that any time entities in power want to do something that is illegal under the Constitution, they go simply ahead with it under the principle of the martial law declared by Lincoln. That is how the Executive Orders are presented. They are Executive Orders based on martial law that has not been lifted. This is also referred to as admiralty law.
Thus you have, in one period, a war on poverty. A few years later you have a war on drugs. And there are more and more of these wars occurring every two years. Otherwise, Martial Law would have to be canceled and you would be back under the Constitution, and your freedoms could be restored. You could then plead Constitutional Rights in courts of law. However, at present, the courts of law are following Admiralty Law, and therefore, if you plead Constitutional Rights in court, you are not likely to get anywhere.
Since March 9, 1933, the United States has been in a state of declared national emergency. In fact, there are now in effect four presidentially-proclaimed states of national emergency: In addition to the national emergency declared by President Roosevelt in 1933, there are also the national emergency proclaimed by President Truman on December 16, 1950, during the Korean conflict, and the states of national emergency declared by President Nixon on March 23, 1970, and August 15, 1971.

Thus Constitutional Rights only count when you get up into the Supreme Court, for there is a tendency to continue to use the Constitutional law in the Supreme Court because they do not want the people to know that the Constitution has been superseded by Admiralty Law. This Awareness indicates that therefore, the Supreme Court will often rule if there is a constitutional discrepancy, so that the lower laws are supposed to follow the Constitution, and yet, entering into a court of law, arguing with the Constitution, seldom is beneficial to an entity because they will say the entity is in the wrong jurisdiction in this court.

Because they don’t want you to learn the proper jurisdiction, today’s courts give lip service to accepting the Fifth Amendment defense — but try to introduce the Constitution into the court proceedings! You’ll be threatened by the judge!
What you are seeing, right in front of your eyes, is an unprecedented GRAB for power by the “federal” government! The “federal” government has NO jurisdiction within the borders of these separate and sovereign united States, correct spelling. Our suggestion is to cut the chatter and call to confront. The numbers are above. Do we really need hardened soldiers from Iraq checking seat belts?
