DHS Proposes U.S. Gun Laws to Fight Mexican Drug Cartel Violence

Roger Rufe, Homeland Security’s head of operations, wants to further erode the Second Amendment. Rufe told lawmakers more restrictive gun control and law enforcement may be needed in the Southwest United States in response to the drug war in Mexico, according to the Associated Press.

Rufe also said protecting border may require “deploying military personnel and equipment to the region if other agencies are overwhelmed.” He did not specify what circumstances would trigger a call for troops. “We would take all resources short of DoD (Defense Department) and National Guard troops before we reach that tipping point,” Rufe told lawmakers on a House homeland security subcommittee. “We very much do not want to militarize our border.”
Democrats joined the chorus rallying against the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
In order to solve the problem of violence associated with the drug cartel war in Mexico, Rep. John Tierney (D-Mass) said during a House subcommittee hearing on Thursday that the government should think about imposing further restrictions on the Second Amendment. “Let’s examine our gun laws, let’s cut down on U.S. drug consumption, let’s ask there to be more resources to root out drug money laundering,” said Tierney.
Instead, we should examine the role of the U.S. government in the illegal drug trade. As former DEA agent Cele Castillo has told Alex Jones on numerous occasions, the DEA and CIA are intimately involved in drug smuggling. Castillo has “personally witnessed CIA drug smuggling operations funneled through terrorists that were also involved in kidnappings and the training of death squads on behalf of the U.S. government,” writes Michael Webster for the American Chronicle.
Evidence of this surfaced on September 24, 2008, when a Grumman Gulfstream II jet crashed near Cancun, Mexico with 4 tons of cocaine onboard. The plane had the same registration number as a CIA transport plane used to ferry prisoners to Guantanamo Bay between 2003 and 2005.
CIA involvement in cocaine trafficking in partnership with the Contras was so rampant in the 1980s that the CIA’s Inspector General Fred Hitz was obliged to testify before the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence admitting as much.
In 1999, it was estimated by the Department of Justice that that $100 billion in drug funds were laundered in the U.S. each year. Catherine Austin Fitts, the former Assistant Secretary of Housing under Bush Senior, placed the figure at $250 to $300 billion (see Fitts’ Narco-Dollars for Beginners:

So important are illicit drug profits for Wall Street and the banksters, Richard Grasso, Chairman of the New York Stock Exchange, to flew to Colombia in 1999 to meet with a spokesperson for Raul Reyes of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Columbia (FARC), the supposed “narco terrorists.” It was explained at the time that Grasso was dispatched “to bring a message of cooperation from U.S. financial services” and discuss foreign investment and the future role of U.S. businesses in Colombia. In fact, as a Wall Street mob boss, Grasso was talking with the Marxist FARC in order to keep to the circulation of cocaine bucks surging through Wall Street financial institutions.
In February, the United Nation’s Office on Drugs and Crime Executive Director Antonio Maria Costa told an Austrian magazine that drug money has been the only thing that has kept many major banks in business. “In many instances, drug money is currently the only liquid investment capital,” said Costa.
In 2008, the U.S. Justice Department opened an investigation into money transfers conducted by Wachovia bank. It is alleged that Wachovia transferred funds from drug deals in the United States to Mexican and Columbian money-exchange houses, or casas de cambio.
It is not only Wachovia, however, that is suspected of laundering money for the drug cartels. American Express International Bank, Bank Atlantic, the Union Bank of California, the Sigue Corp. and others, according to the Justice Department, have resolved cases of money laundering to avoid federal prosecution.
The Mexican Attorney General’s office says many of the casas de cambio are part of an elaborate system which funnels drug money through U.S. banks, on to European banks and then back to the U.S. and Latin America (see The Banking Industry’s Dirty Little Secret: Money Laundering For The Drug Cartels).

But then the idea here is not to put an end to the lucrative Mexican drug business. Instead, it is a cynical effort to contrive yet another excuse to chip away at the Second Amendment and take guns away from law-abiding American citizens that have nothing to do with the problem-reaction-solution drug war in Mexico.
Roger Rufe and the Ministry of Homeland Security will eventually call for the deployment of troops but this has nothing to do with ending the violence along the border – or ending illegal immigration for that matter.
“The State Department recently estimated U.S.-originated guns were used in 95% of Mexico’s drug-related killings,” the Wall Street Journal reported earlier this week. “Ms. Napolitano has promised a total of $45 million more for border protection next year, but it’s unclear how much of that would be directed toward stemming the flow of guns and money to Mexico.”
In other words, the problem is not illegal immigration or the bankster spawned drug cartel war in Mexico – the problem for the government and the global elite is the American people, their guns, and archaic belief in the Second Amendment and the Constitution.

I think we are going about this all wrong. I think its an absolute great idea for all of us to willfully give up and turn in our guns. I will be more than happy to do this, just as soon as the government takes away all the weapons from the police, the military, and everyone else on the planet. We all know that a person smuggling guns into Mexico are NOT buying those guns in gun shops, or at gun shows. I know if someone went in and bought 200 or 300 m16’s red flags would go up all over the place. Give us a break, We The People are not stupid. Mr. Holder’s opinion of me or my ownership of firearms changes no part of reality. I’m no coward and the Second Amendment guarantees my RIGHT (without a permission slip!) to own, keep and bear arms (NO TYPE LIMITATIONS, pocket knife to M-16 to RPG!). We (the people in general) tried to be good citizens for years and decades and allowed that we should not gripe if they didn’t want us owning full automatics, buying guns in states where we don’t live, etc. Look where that got us! Instead of respect and acknowledgment for our “good citizenship”, we are derided as “terrorists, criminals and violence addicts”. Well according to W, if you deal drugs your a terrorist. If this is the case, it’s obvious that we have drug dealing terrorists operating within our own government. The US Military needs to respond to the People, who they are going to side with when this all goes South, if military personnel are not going to support the People’s Constitution, for which they swore an oath, then those individuals need to be discharged immediately, without hesitation nor delay. It would look kind of ridiculous on the battle field if opposite army’s flew the same flag, which is probably their intent to insight confusion as they do during most false flag operations, to eliminate this problem, I would suggest flying your State flag or banner.

The Constitution is clear in it’s message to internal government tyrants, and grants every American citizen the right to engage such treasonist action with Sovereign power and authority. Let the People be reminded of their Sovereignty… The forceful disarming of the People is an act of High Treason, and can and should be construed as an Act of War against each individual American citizen. Treasonist Public Servants that participate in such flagrant criminal action against the Constitution of the People, are therefore enemy’s of the People, thus automatically surrendering their power and authority of office, to the power and authority of the People. The Constitution was expressly written in such a way that literally deputizes the People to refuse and resist such criminal and treasonist action with extreme prejudice… Without mercy nor clemency.

We joined the Union under an Annexation Agreement, like all the other States did. Difference is, all the other States were territories and we were a NATION. Nations cannot be annexed. No kidding! It’s everywhere and our civil servants/law enforcement won’t do anything about it! They actually contribute to it! They speed, cut people off, don’t use signals, etc… with civ cars following right behind them.

I’m 50 and I still hit the target where I aim 90% of the time. My Dad and Grandpa could shoot well into their 70’s and did. Practice is key, but practice slow and pay attention to what’s happening as close as you can. Level off and center the sights, focus front sight, aim small and squeeze the trigger the same way you apply breaks, smoothly. Let the trigger break be a surprise and you’ll be pleasantly surprised when you gain consistency and accuracy. Speed will come as you shoot more, it’ll be second nature.

I really don’t want to hurt anyone either but if anyone ever puts my family in harms way I will do what I must. Please for the sake of the wife you love, get a way to defend her. She and yourself might just need it one day. Or will you just stand by while they take her off to a camp to kill her? This is what you need to ask yourself. Please understand that I have NEVER wanted to kill another person, or an animal for that matter, but I will do what I have to in order to protect the children that I love so dearly. When the time comes for me to put my life on the line for my kids I will do it without even thinking, because that is what a good mom is made for. If and when the time comes, I will go out and shoot a deer and even EWWW skin it and gut it, so that we have food but not until it is a true necessity. Not everyone has guns because they need them now, some of us have them because we see it as a necessity for the future.

First of all this is completely the fault of the Gun shops who are selling these guns to mexicans running our borders. Even if They are selling them to civillians, who the f--- needs 10 + AR-15’s in their house, and if they are coming back week after week buying them then OBVIOUSLY THERES A f---ING PROBLEM. Im not saying that AR’s are some sort of horrendous gun, because well, I own a StagArms Model 1. What should happen is they should limit the amount of AR-15’s a person can buy in a certain amount of time, one per month, in souther states near the border, NOT THE ENTIRE COUNTRY, but just the border. If the guns are being stolen, then we could have these gun shops advertise that they do deal the AR variant weapons, BUT, due to theft, will not keep them in store. If a person wants any form of a liberally named “assault weapon” wether it be an AR, an AK variant such as the WASR-10, or Arsenal AK’s, or G3’s, or even the Barret M82A1’s and M99’s that we keep seeing in the hands of these criminals then they need to order them to the store and go through a stricter background check than the ones instilled right now. Anyone Buying a .50 caliber rifle or higher should go through a somewhat extensive background check in these souther states to ensure that they have no connections with criminal sources. this should include checking of account transfers of banks and so on. We can keep our guns. We dont need to give up our rights, Limiting them in certain states such as the southern most western states does not mean limiting them to the point of not being able to purchase them. Get some brains people.

If the former head of the DEA, Robert Bonner says they import cocaine for money I believe him. No surprise here…..this is about the umpteenth time the CIA has been busted for illegal activity….further reinforcing the corruption of our government.

Regarding FARC and Grasso / Wall Street: Ruppert reported that FARC rejected Grasso’s proposal, preferring to invest its profits in Colombia.
