Most white supremacist groups are filled with ignorant (uneducated) people from broken homes that are easy to manipulate because of their longing to belong to something. They aren't much of a threat to America as a whole. They do pose a danger to black people and other minorities but beyond that they are nothing more than a bunch of bungling clowns brainwashed by raggedy-assed ex-cons with delusions of grandure. I've been telling people for years that Al-Qaeda was nothing more than a pipe dream, a CIA invention spawned from the war in Afghanistan, using the Mujahaddin (which were trained and funded by the CIA to combat the Russians) fighters they recruited twenty years ago. Osama Bin Laden was nothing more than a figure head for a movement that never existed and the CIA used him to put a face on the War on Terror.

This report is probably accurate in the sense that it is warning/predicting about things that will soon happen. At the very least it is laying the perceptual ground that fringe right wing groups are capable of armed insurrection against the government. So when an attack happens (probably orchestrated by people affiliated in the networks for which MEMRI is an organ), the public and client politicians can immediately latch onto this pre-existing narrative and, voila, any resistance to increasing federal control of independent networks in the US population can be met with force/detainment. Those who protest such reaction are immediately part of the problem and included in the classification of being ‘enemies of the State’ etc.

As is so often the case these days, disinformation is information. As Bush said’ we create the realities that you guys follow and try to make sense of after the fact and by the time you figure something out, we’ve already moved on creating new realities/events.’ (Obviously a paraphrase there.)
