globalism Dutch minister of Foreign Affairs: We need an international order
Dutch minister of Foreign Affairs and 2008 Bilderberg attendee, Maxime Verhagen

On the first of September 2008, the Dutch minister of Foreign Affairs and 2008 Bilderberg attendee, Maxime Verhagen, gave a speech at the opening of the academic year of the prestigious University of Leiden, the Netherlands. He spoke via satellite connection before an assembly of impressionable minds who no doubt were curious what the minister had to say to send them on their academic way. After the usual formalities (praising the institution and its ancient traditions) he began marvelling at the changes that the university had undergone since the old days when he himself attended the university, cunningly personalising the subject and subsequently setting the tone for the rest of his speech:

Students today have greater opportunities than in my day. It is perfectly possible that you will spend some part of your working life abroad. There is a good chance you will end up getting a job with a foreign or international corporation, even if you stay in the Netherlands. You’ve grown up in a world without borders, and your future prospects reflect that.’

Premising that the students have grown up in a new world, he casually steps over the issue of national sovereignty (as if it was some obnoxious obstacle), at the same time celebrating a ‘world without borders’:

Globalisation’, he remarks, ‘has brought the world closer to home.’

    That’s nice.
Establishing globalisation as a springboard from which to plunge into the rest of his elucidation, he continues (unhindered by any regard for historic accuracy) by saying that the Dutch in history have always aspired to a world without national borders.

‘(…) Globalisation is nothing new to the Netherlands. What is new, however, is the speed, inevitability and totality of the process as we now know it.

Yes, we should all get up to speed and that right soon. Here he intentionally confuses the human urge (and Dutch tendency) to explore and discover, with an ideology to merge all nations into a global super state. It is an old trick and selling point to argue that an idea, or an intended policy, is a natural consequence of an age-old tradition while in point of fact it’s not.

globalism Dutch minister of Foreign Affairs: We need an international order

He goes on to promote an increased move towards world government not with the help of any argument with which to convince his listening audience, but to point out rather that the process is completely irrevocable, no longer in our hands. We might as well accept it:

There is no point in pretending that we can turn back time. The intensity of globalisation is a fact of life over which we have little control.’

If this doesn’t silence the critics, he constructs a classic straw man to finish the job. It is the famous ‘Yes yes, globalisation is beautiful, but does it also work?’- straw man. Completely dismissing any rejection on principle, Verhagen instead proposes that it is only possible to have practical objections to world government. Then he deconstructs the straw man by summing up all the presumed benefits we’ve heard so often, including the thoroughly debunked global warming-myth, the need for globally operating supervising entities (who will do the supervising?) and the pledge that the developing countries will magically turn into gardens of Eden once they conform to the new world order. Verhagen:

‘To make the world a safer and more equitable place, we need an international order. (…) That multilateral system, based on legal principles that apply to all people and all nations, is designed to impose order and prevent or resolve conflict and chaos.(…). Accordingly, our policy aims to bind as many countries as possible to the international structure.’

Who Maxime Verhagen refers to when he speaks of ‘we’ and ‘our’ is unclear. Could it be he is speaking of the powerbrokers and moguls who attend the Bilderberg-conference, as Verhagen himself did just a couple of months before?
Regardless, after panegyrising globalisation as the most desirable form of governance, he couldn’t help himself from adding a last, biting comment, sounding remarkably similar to a threat:

When states renounce the system and try to withdraw from agreements they have made, the world becomes less safe and more unstable.’

In conclusion the minister addressed his young audience directly, proclaiming that:

The academic world has an important role to play here. Students need the tools that will enable them to cope in an international setting. They will have to find these tools for themselves, though it’s the university’s job to give them something else: the right drive, the right mentality, the right international orientation!

It’s remarkable. Verhagen does not advocate just an international orientation. He pleads for the right international orientation.
The future intelligentsia is being systematically prepared for the new world order. Although Bilderberg luminaries were often heard soft-speaking for a new world order in the past, now they’re practically falling over each other, crying for it.

It’s the same bull all over European universities. But not all scholars and politicians are NWO crooks. In fact, most are actually well meaning idiots and conformist repeaters who don’t understand the mechanism of the top-down structure they are in.

I would say that the mainstream media is mostly responsible (even David Rockefeller acknowledged that in a famous quote).

If there is any chance for a Nuremburg 2.0 it should include many, many media crooks as well.

Yes, we do need some sort of “international order” but it should be made up of strongly independent sovereign nations who are self-sufficient as much as possible. Not for nationalism’s sake, but as a rearguard insurance against global tyranny.

Throw away your TV and the intellectual retardation it promotes. Give up on your leaders. Their intent is to enslave you and you aren’t going to change their mind by voting or protesting.

    11. SeldomSeen Smith Esq. Says:

      The New World Order
Noam Chomsky, University of California at Berkeley, March 16, 1991, speech excerpts

[paragraph 10, sentence 1] “Well, now we’re back to two visions of the New World Order: the one that’s given by the educated classes who understand the way for us to behave and whose eyes are focused on the oratory and there is where George Bush says, George Bush has made it clear that he’ll breathe new life into the peace process in the Middle East and all other good things…[paragraph 32, sentence 6] All this has to be overcome if we’re to be able to control, if we are to be able to move toward the real New World Order, one based on the rule of force. At home the population has to be in fear, has to be cowering in terror, in fear of terrible enemies about to destroy us. The world has to be put on notice that the surly master will do what it wants. The intellectuals have the responsibility to conceal all of this in beguiling rhetoric. If this picture looks familiar, it’s because it is familiar. And that’s worth thinking about, too…[paragraph 37, sentence 12] Efforts to imposed sanctions are usually, simply vetoed by the great powers, the United States far in the lead. Just taking the twenty years since George Bush enters the scene, the United States is first by a long shot in vetoing Security Council resolutions on aggression or any relevant issue. In second place, with about half the number of vetoes of the United States is Britain, our lieutenant. The United States and Britain are responsible for about 80 percent of those. In third place, far behind, is France, and fourth place is the Soviet Union. It’s less than a third the number of vetoes of Great Britain and about one seventh the number of vetoes of the United States. That, incidentally, tells you how likely we are to be entering a New World Order in which the United Nations will undertake a peace-keeping role with the Russian veto no longer blocking it. These trivial facts, and they are trivial, you’ll have to search very far to find any reference to them in the journals of opinion, intellectual journals, media, and so on. In fact, you’ll find no reference to them anywhere near the main stream, but they are important facts…[paragraph 49, 50] Meanwhile, editorials and scholarship will be full of praise for the noble righteousness of the U.S. political leaders as they take us to a New World Order. Those are the plans. And they might succeed. Those, at the moment, are the prospects for the Middle East as far as I can see. What about the New World Order? Here we also think alike, and particularly if you read the business press. James Webb, former Reagan Aid Secretary, wrote in the Wall Street Journal, I’m pointing to a Reagan insider that, he was very critical of this, but describes it adequately, he describes the Bush Administration as an extremist Administration which prefers brute force to other means, which has relentlessly maneuvered the country into a neat little war and did so because they’re facing domestic problems. They have no way to deal with them. They have only one idea in their heads and that is to turn the United States into a mercenary state, Hessians. We’ll carry out the corporate global enforcement role, others will pay us for it…[paragraph 51, 52] We should be a global mafia. If some great country finds that someone is getting in their way, we’ll go out and break their bones for them. And since we only fight much weaker enemies, we’ll pulverize them. That’s the way you do it if you want to show that the world should be run this way. Someone’s got to pay us for it. We no longer have the economic base for these actions. He says, if we want to keep our control over the world economic order, we can do it this way, and we’ll pound on tables in Germany and Japan and make them pay up. We’ve got the guns remember. And crudely, we will ensure that the profits from Gulf oil flow to prop up the American economy. Now there’s a long record on this, planning in declassified documents and so on. They show that the major U.S. concern, and British concern, over Gulf oil is not so much in access to the oil, but it’s control over the profits. Those profits were needed in 1950 to prop up the tottering British economy. By the 1970s, particularly after the last ten years, they were critically necessary for the United States, for U.S. financial institutions, for treasury securities, and so on. So we’ll get the funds to keep us going and we’ll sell protection to our rivals. We’ll be the world’s mafia, running a global protection racket.
[paragraph 52] That’s the New World Order. Tri-polar economically, three major economic powers, the United States is still the biggest in fact, but declining, relatively, but uni-polar militarily, one military force. No deterrent aggression throughout the game. Nobody’s going to prevent us from exercising force. At home there may be a shortage of skilled labor because we’ve moved toward a Third World type society. Wise course would be…society expected to fill maybe half the jobs in the next ten years are not going to be educated. They’ll be in jail, or selling drugs, or killing each other, and so on, not capable of taking skilled work, but there will be plenty of work for them as Hessians. Those again are some of the contours of the emerging New World Order. Well, that’s not inevitable. However, it’s not unlikely. There’s no outside force that’s going to prevent it. The responsibility lies right here, obviously.”

You dont have to be all that perceptive to know that a man who asks himself questions during a speech then proceeds to answer that question as if it were posed by another person, is 9/10 times full of it. These people cannot engage in organic, open discussions b/c they only know one way, one idea and are so sold on it they are incapable seeing things from a different perspective. As Lennon said, “they think they are so clever and classless and free.”

@ #12 Social Viability: I like the ideas presented at that web site…but I just have one question about this approach: what happens if the Zionist banksters don’t let you do it…what then? I mean, if we go into a totalitarian police state they can just boot us out of our houses…basically they’d be able to do what ever they want to us at that point; unless we fight back.

I wish we would have started stuff like this 20-30 years ago…it probably could have made a difference!

Dutch readers, google and buy this book by Maessen: ‘Het geheim van Zionsburg – De heilige graal, de Oranjes en de intrige achter een duistere ridderorde’ (’The Secret of Zionsburg – The Holy Grale, The House of Orange and the intrige behind the black nobility’)

    19. Bart Says:

Carol, the Dutch are ‘famous’ for the movies Fitna by Geert Wilders (talking about amateurism and ignorance) and Submission by (late) Theo van Gogh / Hirshi Ali (now a neocon, how ironic).

Don’t worry about the Dutch, most don’t like Verhagen. And after two World Wars, the Dutch have little patience with governments that play with their freedoms. We already kicked out voting machines, for example. The situation is not comparable to the US situation, with the main differences being the mentality of the people and the media not being owned by the happy few. It’s far more easy to get a message out in my country, than in America. That being said, there are still some tricky things going on:

Another minister (Klink) is trying to force us to go along with the EPD (Electronic Medical Record) by creating an opt-out construction. The first month (november 2008) almost 170.000 people (out of 16 million in total) filed complaints stating that they do not want to part in this. Most doctors, medical and IT professionals are against the EPD. It’s gonna be another billion dollar project blown to pieces.

The Dutch government is also implementing the OV Chip, an electronic public transport pass that is going to replace the perfectly working paper ’strippenkaart’. The machines are there. Not working. Early 2009 this will be introduced. The system itself has been easily hacked multiple times and that’s not gonna change. Also a project doomed to fail.

It’s interesting to see what’s gonna happen with the European Lissabon treaty. The Dutch voted massively no on a European Constitution referendum and now they are trying to go via the back door early 2009 with the Lissabon treaty (without consent of the Dutch people). After the Greek protests (http://www.infowars.com/?p=6626) it’s gonna be a tough call for European governments to go through with this, even when they sign it.

Finally, our government is also introducing the unsafe RFID technology in our passports next year (and probably a year or so later, we’ll be chipped just like our pets :) ). It’s hacked even with more ease than the EPD and OV Chip. When the Dutch people realise the (health and safety) dangers of this project, it will be terminated.

bart , the rfid chip is already in a few of the dutch idiots among us… they chose an rfid chip to be able to go to the baja beach club in rotterdam. i dont know if that club is still doing it but they started with it in 2004? i think.

also our dutch news is being filtered! i believe it was the avro back in the 80s who had a article about it on one of their programs, the aivd(back then it was another name i think) checks every news program …. so you are not getting everything thats going on… only the parts they think are no problem.

heck wake up! they only feed you what they want you to hear!!

and believe me 90% of the dutch people will not do a thing when the s--- hits the fan… all they do is complain about it and nothing more…. if the trouble starts(a war etc) holland will be taken within 3 days it will be like ww2 again! only smaal underground groups who have the guts to stand against the enemy

our government has nwo written all over and believe me most of the dutch people don’t know s--- about the nwo because holland has done its job pretty well! they have been manipulating us for at least 60 years and we are to blind to see it.

These nwo people must be getting a little frightened. They’ve sucked $26 trillion out of the world markets on their globalization ponzi scheme and people AND governments are pissed off. I have 4 brothers who fall for the ‘its inevitable’ line still, one used to make >$300k for > 10 years and lived in a very ritzy area, downsized his home twice, lost his job then moved into an apartment with a PO Box and still can’t see the truth and was trying to sell stuff in one of most financial devastated areas of the country. Just wait till more people figure out the majority of the big banks are totally insolvent and bonds blow out and they lose everything. Oh yeah, they’ll be happy to join up with the nwo where there will be no future for them whatsoever.
I’ve been trying to tell my bro’s that there is no new wealth being generated, its all just leveraging of cost structures in different countries for exploitation and extraction of profits.
An example of this is how the financial media kept saying for years how hundreds and hundreds of millions of chinese are ‘entering the middle class’. What they don’t say is that most of those workers are only being paid subsistence level wages and only relatives of govt officials are making out in the scam. The workers cannot buy what they build for US ‘markets’, so US consumerism hits the skids and China’s economy goes belly up. As more countries limit what china’s nwo work force can ship into their country to preserve their own working people, china will suffer more losses. From what I understand, china’s closed 100,000 factories so far…all exploitation alll the time.

    26. V Says:

      Another ‘minister’ preaching crap.

    27. Omnihil Says:

      Reporting in from the Netherlands,
Maxime Verhagen is a straight up crook, Last year he followed our Prime-Minister to the Bilderberg, and functions like Cheney in relation to Bush.
Verhagen is more of a puppetmaster to our prime-minister, who both belong to one of
the most corrupt and globalist political parties in the Netherlands.

I also must express the need to forge a stronger bond with fellow truthers abroad.
This matter is too big to handle country by country, if they want to go global, let our voice go global aswell and let us unity as one by free will instead of by force, to show them what Democracy really means.

    28. Dutch student Says:

again, for all the people with a government training camp ‘education’:
      - people from The Netherlands (’Holland’) are the Dutch (capital is Amsterdam, flag is red white en blue horizontal stripes).
      - people from Denmark are the Danish (capital is Kopenhagen, flag is red with a white cross).

      - Hirschi Ali (’Submission’ film, American Enterprise Inst.) en Geert Wilders (anti-muslim film ‘Fitna’, member of parlement) are from The Netherlands
      - The infamous anti-muslim cartoons where first published by a newspaper from Denmark

So they are 2 different countries bordering resp. on the west and north of Germany.

The original Netherlands (Holland + current Belgium) where one of the first somewhat free republics (1 of the about 10 free countries in the history Alex sometimes talks about) when the Dutch finally freed themselves from the katholic Spanish empire suffering from emperial overstretch in the beginning of the 17th century, establishing the Republic of the United Netherlands (containing mostly autonomous 7 provinces, hence the plural).
Later the French Revolution and then Napoleon came along, resulting in our first king Lodewijk Napoleon 1806-1810 (non-Dutch ofcourse, brother of thè Napoleon) who turned the republic into the ‘Kingdom of Holland’. After a brief period (1810-1815) when The Netherlands where just a complete French province, The House of Orange monarchy was installed in 1815, descendents from our Founding Father, Willem of Orange, but not direct.
Then the mostly katholic and French orientated south split from the mostly calvinist northern part in 1830, forming Belgium (Belgium would later on get their own monarchy), establishing the current borders and leaving behind Holland. This is why in the north of Belgium they speak Dutch and in the south they speak French.
After that the German, British and Russian royal nobility bloodline-influence grow, steadily undermining the young Dutch constitutional monarchy, together with the growing influence of the masonic lodges, with prins Berhard (Bilderberg founder) as a result. Read also: http://www.jonesreport.com/art.....nhard.html

And for the ‘katholics run it all’ crowd… yep, minister Verhagen is a catholic (but our prime-minister is a calvinist, like most of the christians overhere)

Big up to all the Dutch people on infowars.com, makes me feel not as alone.

    30. Mark Says:

The Dutch are married to the English from the very top at the royalty level. Holland and England are really one and the same.

    31. Mariella Says:

The official nickname which Verhagen is known for by his colleagues and parliamentary reporters is “the Rat”; Maxime “the Rat” Verhagen.

After his Bilderberg attendance he gave a few interviews for the Dutch tv-news in which he posed in front of a marble plaque with the fascist axe, the fascii.

Seems like the Netherlands is at the forefront of introducing the NWO on the people. Even before 9-11 the Dutch secret service was routinely monitoring all of our phonecalls and was so experienced at this that, apparently, the NSA and CIA would come and take practical advice from us on how to snoop on their unsuspecting citizens. Since then, the NSA has a big spying station set up at Zoutkamp, in the province of Groningen.

After 9-11 the government has introduced many NWO methods by stealth on the Dutch population.

Police are now routinely monitoring all licenceplates in the streets and crosschecking them against criminal databases to search for outstanding fines and warrants.

They have secretly set up lampposts to monitor the sounds in the street to specifically check for people raising their voices in anger.

In my hometown they secretly put up ‘mosquitos’ which emit irritating low frequency noise only heard by children up to 16 years of age, to prevent them from loitering.

They set up camera systems all around our capital to capture all incoming and outgoing vehicles and their passengers.

They are forcing all travelers by train, tram, tube and bus to use an exclusive travelpass that registers your every move.

They are forcing biometric RFID passports on us and demand we carry them when we leave the house.

Those are just a few examples of how the government is introducing the NWO by stealth in the Netherlands. Apparently we are some kind of testing ground of long term social experiments, probably because there are so many of us in such a small area.

The current mindset of the Dutch is very very scary. Most of us have stopped thinking for ourselves completely, and have become totally selfabsorbed infantilistic consumers, unable to relate to anything that does not concern ourselves. Our eyes glaze over when confronted with news that has not been on the 8 o’clock news.

You will not find the dicussions here you see all taking place over the world via the internet and the massmedia, about 9-11, the illegal wars or the NWO.

Here in Holland people will either say “I have nothing to hide”, immediately drop the C-word (how odd the sheople here are always so thoroughly familiar with that word) when confronted with such subjects, or else it will only take them a minute to start raving about aliens, UFO’s, cropcircles or poleshifts.

Us Dutch people have forgotten what freedom is and how our freedom came about. We have begun to think that freedom is all about the freedom to choose between different products. We have begun to identify our freedom as consumerism, and express our individuality through massproduced brands.

Meanwhile, little rats like Verhagen and Balkenende (though you may call him Harry Potter) are actively implementing a hostile takeover from within.

They are now – amongst other things – officially guilty of war crimes and high treason, and as such no longer legal respresentatives of our nation. However, there is this big charade going on, enabled by their fellow politicians and the massmedia, that they can not to be held accountable for their actions.

It has become customary for our PM to refuse to answer to just about anything. He personally keeps on blocking an investigation into the Iraq War to cover up his own government’s warcrimes. And, interestingly, he has also begun throwing people in jail for insulting the Queen.

O dear, there is so much going on. We are in such a mess…

    32. Carlos Says:

As a Dutch person, living in Holland, I have to say that I utterly DESPISE this man!

He’s a hypocrite, a coward and a tool combined in one human body. I am ashamed that he represents my country and I sincerely apologize on behalf of the dutch people.

WE THE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD should all unite and rise up against our so called ‘representatives’ who are nothing but a bunch of traitors and liars.

      Mariella,

What is it about the UFO type subject that the
      Dutch are interested in?

From a Biblical Prophesy perspective the NWO agenda
& what is happening worldwide is part of the “signs” which
are told would happen when the Anti-Christ comes in the
name of “Peace” & the soon after 2nd coming of Jesus.

The UFO Phenomenon may play some type of role in this-
so the reason for the question.
