Dutch rail station evacuated after bomb threat-police

“The explosives team are investigating the area. A sniffer dog is searching,” a police spokesman said, adding that a man was arrested because of his suspicious behaviour.
Some houses and offices surrounding the station were being evacuated and trains to and from the station were halted. (Reporting by Gilbert Kreijger)

And at a time where the Dutch Prime minister is very unpopular, and the Dutch parlement is debating wether to send new troops to Afganistan.

First of all to make it clear, the police never claimed there was a bomb. The NS (train company) claimed that. They arrested a man (not clear in the head) who was asking for a cigarette in a train cabin. Nobody answered so he left the cabin, to come back a few minutes later claiming he activated a bomb because nobody believed him en left the cabin again. Outside he started yelling he loved Dutch people, hated terrorists and Osama was a fraud. A cigarette was offered to him by a young guy. When he kneeled down to pray he was arrested. It is possible he was arrested this soon because one woman in the cabin called her husband who is a police officer. Then NS claimed there was a bomb, the station was cleared and the police started searching. Nothing was found and people could get back on their way. After HOURS… So the media was freaked out for hours and the public transportation was down for a long time by 1 freak saying blablah… Sad to live in this country…
I just hope there will not be an MP to make advantage of this absurd situation…

It was nothing.
A confused man yelled death to al-qaeda long live Holland!” and said that there was a bomb in a train.
I think he was under drugs or something.
Everyon here has forgotten the event already. It was nothing, happens all the time here.
