EMT Wants Accountability From Oklahoma Highway Patrol

TULSA, OK — EMT Maurice White says he is, in a way, glad that the scuffle with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper happened because it means problems will be addressed and dealt with. He also tells The News On 6 he is looking for accountability from the OHP.
“This situation can never happen again,” said Maurice White.

But, White thinks it will happen again to someone else unless some questions are answered.
“Whatever we have to make sure that that never occurs again and that some definitive light is shed on the problems with the OHP, we will go forward and do it whatever that takes,” said Maurice White.
White says even when flattened against his ambulance, he was worried about the patient in the back. It was a woman suffering from possible heat exhaustion whom he and his partner were taking to a hospital.

Will the good cops PLEASE police the bad cops at some point? This is the only way to restore your credibility. It seems like the highest corruption comes from corrupt chiefs and other brass. You should REFUSE to follow these orders as you know in your heart that they are wrong. No matter what propaganda they show you that will attempt to rationalize what they want you to do. You know better, you just need to show the honor and courage to say NO.
For those of you who are still “fence-sitting” on whether or not to follow such orders…please do not allow yourselves to become part of this system of abuse and corruption. If there is any shred of humanity left in you then you will join your fellow citizens in their struggle against the power-hungry elite. WE are here for you, not them. WE are your family, your friends, your neighbors, etc…THEY are diabolical.

Regardless of something so insignificant as skin color, IT IS UNJUST AND WRONG, either way. In my past I have personally known of black cops who sell drugs. So there ARE bad cops of all color. Lets be very clear. When an officer arrests/attacks you, and you defend yourself, you are not resisting arrest, you are resisting attack.
If someone without a badge did what some of these cops are doing, it would be classified as assault.
As is becoming more evident, the only difference between criminal thugs and cops is that cops have some legal authority to attack you, while your typical criminal does not.

As a white person with 27 years in law enforcement I think it is sad that one moment of anger can cost a career. I have watched all the videos, and I think the EMT handled himself very well an was in control of himself with the right priorities. As an officer, if you ever become emotionally involved you should always get another officer to deal with it. I am disappointed that the other two officers there didn’t save the OHP officer from himself. With 15 years on the OHP and a serving in Iraq I believe that same OHP officer would put his life on the line for that EMT next week. There are very few people if any that haven’t lost control at some time because of anger, but its not out in the public eye, and high profile. I don’t think anything about this is racial. The OHP office didn’t know the color of the EMT, and the driver was white. I am sure that all parties would love to go back and live that day again. Both these guys are on the same side. There are enough bad guys out there that it is sad to see the good guys fighting with each other. Its sad that 15 years of good can be wiped out in three minutes.

I believe three things should amount to eliciting capital punishment: Murder, rape, or criminal abuse of authority.
Police and other officials who abuse people or break the law while flaunting their authority need to be tried in a lawful court and executed or, at least, imprisoned for life. Same goes for officials who accept bribes.
These actions are not mistakes, as “Sad” would have it. They are criminal activities, the same as you or I would commit in an act of anger or passion, but many times worse because they are done by an officer who wraps himself in the authority of the State with a badge and a weapon. Therefore, there should be no more 90 day suspensions or loss of career, rather there should be arrest, investigation, and jury trial.
This country has been deeply injured by these people.
This would not defang good police, but it will deter criminals who hide among police, and the power hungry who do their job to serve themselves rather than the people of the community.
Enact this policy and the illegitimate police state will be over by the end of the year. This is not a call for violence against any particular individuals, but a call for a change in public policy and how law is administered.

Unless some is being charged with a crime surrounding that incident then there should be no excuse as to why White’s lawyer can’t get a copy. It’s tax payer funded I’m sure, we have a freedom of information act and it’s not evidence in any case. People need to always remember they are supposed to work for us the people. They need to be stood up to and reminded consantly otherwise they feel free to do as they please.

cause phone quality isn’t that great and a vid recorder is easier to download. I think it is one of the best tools we all have or better have in these days. With a well recorded video, there is no defense for them, Like that story of the GOT FIRED FOR ENDGAME T SHIRT, that would have been valuable to have video of that,

I have seen, and on more than one occasion encountered too many overzealous police officers. I was just pulled over for supposedly having a tag light out. I asked if I could get out and look he said no. I lived a block away when I got to my home I got out and verified the officer is a liar. He screwed up cause he wrote me a warning. I have his name and I will be filing harassment chatges and demanding they remove him. Heres what we need to do we need to use thier time like they waste ours and use the time to rid our law enforcement pf thugs in uniforms. When I called the main line I said I was harassed the officer on the phone says “im a Officer I take that as an insult I said well if your an officer you should want it to stop so you wont keep getting these calls. he got mad and slammed the phone down another officer came on the phone ‘were not ging to help you and gave me a number to another barracks.
Im talking about the FINE MASSACHUSETTS STATE POLICE you know the ones that made the woman going into labor prove she was pregnant. The same ones in the NeoNazi gassato Uniforms. this state is in a police state the officers are worse than the germans in auchowitz.
Please help me we need a better CRIMINAL JUSTACE SYSTEM. Isnt it funny how it is really the victims that HAVE THE RIGHT TO REMAIN SILENT ANYTHING WE SAY WILL BE USED AGAINST US IN A CORRUPT COURT OF LAW. I tip my hat to one fine EMT. How he had the restraint to not level that punk cop is beyond me. Google any town or city police department and call the police department and inquire about it. It is no secret the law was passed cause the Police cant waste thier precious donut time on crime. This is what I dont get, and I dont get how no one seems to have brought it up yet. How can an emergency vehiche invloved in transporting a person to receive emergency medical attention, fail to yeild to another “emergency’ vehicle responding to an assistance call on a pull-over, even if it was a possible stolen car. Nice professional courtesy there cop…When its you who needs emergency medical attention, do you wish for these types of people, EMT’s, to display the same regard for your life as you did for the lady in the ambulance? Theres something to think about as you falsify your statements on your police reports as you obviously did on the one related to this case.

There’s a lot of good police out there? How come I don’t hear their outrage then? I’ve heard very very few police stand up against corruption among their own ranks. To those who do, I have the up most respect for.
When I hear that line, “there’s a lot of good police”, I can’t help but look around and wonder why they remain silent? Personally, I think the vast majority of good police have already gotten out of the system because of all the corruption.

One fateful day, a Cop is going to mess with the wrong “Innocent Bystander” & is going to end up dead. If or when this happens, the real victim is going to be drug through the mud as a “Extremist” or ‘Domestic Terrorist”, instead of a Man or Woman defending their lives! How many more times does this have to happen? How many more times will the mob of people sit by as they beat the daylights out of an unconscious person, before the mob decides that a “internal investigation and paid leave” isn’t cutting it? What then? Can two hotheaded policemen stop 30 or 40 ticked off people with baseball bats and rocks? The good police out there had better put an end to this behavior before the people decide to do it for you. My heart goes out to the victim suffering from chest pains and her family. What an awful event to bear witness too.

It will be beneficial to all when Mr. White’s attorney secures the dashcam footage. For the OHP to withhold the footage, after claiming it supported the trooper’s account, is very telling. If EMT’s in other states have been the target of troopers such as the one in the recording, the OHP dashcam video will shed light on that issue. I think Mr. White and the family involved would be quite justified in filing a civil lawsuit against the OHP and the obviously power hungry, vindictive trooper.

I was raised in NJ and the NJ Troopers have been allowed to get away with this type of behavior,and to this day they still get away with it unchallenged, if it is not stoped and nipped in the bud, this will only be the begining of many more of these types of incidents. When you have a bad apple in the bunch it is best to remove it before it spoils the whole pie. This Trooper did not demonstrate any self controle. From what I see the trooper asalted the EMS driver and like anyone else charges should be filed against him, if anything at all he should be held to a even higher standard than the average citizen. As a tax paying citizen of the state of Oklahoma, I pay his salery, so I should have the right to request his dismisil.

Cops are abusing power because we let them..no one ever uses “citizen arrest” anymore and if you try it you’ll be laughed at by everyone standing around because America has lost its balls
The best thing you could do is go buy one of these high powered tasers or a cattle prod and when you see a cop tasering a 70 year old for no apparent reason run up and taser him in his ass and put him under citizens arrest for assaulting a grandmother…take him to a public jury and plead your case
I think the quote “Violence is not the solution” is taken out of context and should be “Death is not the solution”
“Packing heat” on a cop will only get you in trouble and allow them to get more laws passed against civilians…

I just love to see fat, bald, angry, racist jarhead cops show their true colors. We got a ton of ‘em out here in Utah I hope this gets seen more in the media. They are coming for you America, you are the new threat to unified authoritarianism. Remember, the more crappy laws that are passed, the more your friends and family are at risk of arrest and abuse. Where are the protests? When is Obama going to push to ‘legalize it?’ and free up his fellow nonviolent poor and mass disfranchised?
