The proposed rule requires new facilities and those undergoing major maintenance to limit their greenhouse-gas emissions using the “best available” technology. That might include energy-efficiency steps or equipment under development to capture greenhouse gases and funnel them into storage.
“We are not going to continue with business as usual any longer. We have the tools and the technology to move forward today, and we are using them,” said Lisa Jackson, administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency. The EPA would oversee the rule.

this will only pose a huge cost on industries to continue manufacturing and producing in the U.S. this only means more plants to close in the U.S and move overseas, AKA a final evacuation of major industry in the United States

Cap and trade is far more dangerous than you think. The cap and trade bill includes annual mandatory audits of private homes by a to-be-created government agency. That’s right, they come right into your home without a warrant, and audit your energy use, appliances, light bulbs, windows, insullation, etc. You’re right that they don’t care at all about the environment. What they care about is controlling you.

Anyone see this story? We are revealed that water IS indeed on the moon [water=atmosphere=life], and now NASA is going to BOMB THE MOON? WTF?

The water on the Moon is stuck in the ground, it does not form an atmosphere. Creating a small explosion there liberates some of the water in gaseous form, which can be detected from the Earth with spectroscopes (remote sensors).
Now there is something a little weird in the story: water on the Moon is not a new disovery at all, the latest is just a sure-fire confirmation. It was first discovered by a Moon orbiter in the early nineties. That probe (named Clementine) had been launched by the Department Of Defense, alledgedly because they had spare parts to use up and new sensors to try out. The military spontaneously helping scientists is rare; I don’t know what to make of it.

If the EPA was really serious about cutting Greenhouse Gases, they should shut their mouths. There is no more Global Warming because Solar Activity is decreasing as sun spots are vanishing. Last time that happened in such huge numbers was 1645 to 1710: Mini-Ice Age. Congress had better move on passing their Liar’s Tax (Carbon Tax: Tax the Planet) before the jig is up and everyone realizes that the earth is cooling off because Solar Activity is decreasing. Polar Ice Caps have been expanding at 200,000 square miles a year since 2007. It seems that God is having the last laugh when governments and their scientists are repeatedly looking like a bunch of fools. This time the Sun (decreasing Sun Spot Activity) is making any talk of Global Warming a complete waste of time.
