European Central Banksters seek World Currency, Total Control

On June 23, 2009, Lorenzo Bini Smaghi of the European Central Bank, gave a speech at the Aspen Institute Italia called ‘The world after the crisis: Designing the future. A monetary order for the XXI century.’

‘(…) We have been searching for a new monetary order since the fall of the Bretton Woods agreement, in the summer of 1971, and even that order was not so orderly, after all.’
In his speech, Smaghi concludes that the IMF/Worldbank has taken its rightful place as head honcho of the ‘international monetary order’, undermining the autonomy of nation-states as it proceeds with its long-term plan of a global government and a single world currency.
‘The fact that the crisis has restored the IMF to its place at the heart of the international financial system should provide some hope in this respect. (…) Most of the IMF’s shareholders seem to favour making IMF financing easier. (…) In sum, a new world monetary order- (…) requires a mechanism to keep imbalances in check. Key elements of such a mechanism include a prominent role for the IMF in two essential areas: strong and effective surveillance in crisis prevention, and responsible lending, with appropriate limits and conditionality, to countries in need.’
Here it is. Surrendering national and even regional economic power to a world body, a world bank, is the main goal of the transnationalists. And all this in the name of ‘preventing’ crises- for which- by the way- the central bankers are more often than not responsible in the first place.
In a speech delivered in 2000, member of the executive board of the ECB, Sirkka Hämäläinen stated:
‘In conclusion, I should like to come back to Paul Volcker’s prophecy. He might be right, and we might one day have a single world currency. Maybe European integration, in the same way as any other regional integration, could be seen as a step towards the ideal situation of a fully integrated world. If and when this world will see the light of day is impossible to say. However, what I can say is that this vision seems as impossible now to most of us as a European monetary union seemed 50 years ago, when the process of European integration started.‘
The prophecy by long-term chairman of the Fed, Paul Volcker, the speaker is referring to went as follows: ‘if we are to have a truly global economy, a single world currency makes sense.’ But, as it turns out, 50 years ago this process she talks about was far from impossible to imagine. In fact, as the Bilderberg memos of 1955 reveal, plans for a world government were well beyond the stage of wishful thinking or geopolitical daydreaming fifty years ago. It is- after all- a much older plan envisioned way back and pursued by the same nobility responsible for centuries of oppression in Europe. Their feudal model has been passed on from generation to generation, like the blueblood racing through their veins.
On another occasion, Hämäläinen repeated her wish for a global economic integration:
‘As a longer-term vision, one should see European integration as a step towards improving global co-operation and securing peaceful and balanced development in the whole world.’
Meaning of course, global government must replace the sovereignty of nation states. The word ‘peaceful’ translates to the absence of war- for once potentials rivals are eliminated, there is no longer conflict. A consolidation of power, in other words, by the central banks of the world.
Jurgen Stark, at the international conference of central bankers and economic educators in 2006, presses the point that only an independent central bank should be given the instruments of setting interest rates, maintaining price stability and overseeing the economy as a whole:

‘Central Bank independence is nowadays enshrined in many central bank laws and statutes around the world. In order to ensure that this achievement also prevails in the future, broad public awareness of the benefits of central bank independence is essential. Fostering and preserving such awareness requires, in particular, that the independence of a central bank, once granted, is respected by the government in question and not undermined by political interference.’
Stark describes this effort of guaranteeing the omnipotence of central banks by propagandizing people and elected governments as improving ‘economic literacy’. In reality it is a synchronized effort by the central banks to consolidate power and qualifying anyone who criticizes their monopoly as economically illiterate. Stark:
‘Furthermore, to underpin its institutional independence, a central bank also needs to be given functional, personal and financial independence. Functional independence implies that the central bank can apply its own judgement in the conduct of monetary policy with the aim of achieving the objective specified in its mandate. A key element of a central bank’s functional independence is its lasting control over the money base and its ability to freely choose the instruments which it uses to implement its policies.’
Both the European Central Bank and the Federal Reserve have claimed that political oversight and transparency will be somehow disastrous for their operations and, subsequently, the world economy. They want it all, it seems, and they want it now. The rational behind all these outrageous preconditions can be summed up with the words of Jean-Claude Trichet, president of the ECB, in 2005:
‘We Europeans know that we can deliver structural reforms: we have done that efficiently in the past. The new state of the world is only adding new reasons to proceed in a direction which has been the European strategy since the late ‘50s, and has contributed, over almost half a century, to productivity progress, prosperity and jobs.’
The economic crisis of the last year has added to a sense of urgency- with everyone with a stake in this new world order screaming for one world government at the top of their lungs.
One currency to rule them all, one currency to find them, one currency to bring them all and in the darkness bind them- one could say, superimposing Tolkien’s Ring-mantra over the objectives of the world’s central banksters.

I think the most important issue here, often overlooked, is that a global currency (singular) will not only help encourage peace and co-operation between countries but also it will make international travel virtually hassle-free, what with not having to worry about exchange rates and money changing at the airport.

Americans lost their sovereignty on Dec. 24th, 1913 when legislation containing the authority for the creation of the Federal Reserve Banking System was sureptitiously, passed in the Senate while most members were on holiday. There was no majority.

The one-world everything would be a great idea – except for the fact that these are evil people who would take away your freedom. Any ease of transportation or exchange of currency is for THEIR benefit, not ours.
If there is travel, it will be on NWO business. Otherwise, slaves will be confined to the crowded conditions of the created city slums where 5% of the world’s population will be confined. Please read “The Web of Debt.” Ellen H. Brown. It is the one book the Federal Reserve “Masters of the Universe” and their fellow Globalist don’t want the public to read.
Why do you suppose those who run the Federal Reserve System of Banks support a “One Currency World?” If you look at what the american Federal Reserve System of Banks acxtually does you will have your answer.
There are two fundamental imperatives operating to perpetuate the central banks the world over. First, thier ability to create credit by simply entering debits and credits into a ledger. Nothing material need change hands. The debtor pays in legal tender or other collateral the principal and the interest. The interest is what the central banks really want. That’s pure profit. They don’t even want the principle returned too soon because it eats into profits.
Ona global scale with a single currency interest payments, or debt service will, as it is today be the achiles heel for all but a handful of countries, since the global bank can set interest rates. those interest rates will either reward or punish national governments Historically, all business cycles have begun and ended with adjustments to interest rates, set by bankers, not national governments.
The second fundamental imperative is the fractional reserve system. Witjhout it banks cannot generate sufficient profits soon enough to acquire assets on the cheap. For every $10 dollars deposited in Fed banks they loan out $9 dollars. There’s is no legal reserve maximum only minimums, and banks can lend at the rate of $50 dollars for every $1 dollar it receives in deposits, it’s up to the bank. Fractional reserve lending is the primary generator of inflation and devaluation.
We never needed a central bank. Lincoln got along just fine printing debt free currency…Greenbacks….with which he won the Civil War. JFK issued $4.3 billion in debt free silver Certificates in April, 1963. Had he lived he would have replaced Federal Reserve Notes with silver backed U.S. Certificates. Johnson didn’t have the “balls” to fight the Fed so he allowed them to recall all of the debt free Silver Certificates. Had he not done that, today we would have no debt, therefore no deficit.

But to keep it simple, I would prefer to live in a land where I am responsible to determine my own destiny, where I am free to think as I will rather than be “educated” in “proper” thought processes, where I am free to believe in God and aspire to greater things than communitarianism. It seems that common sense would dictate that (assuming you believe that our “vote” determines anything) Obama would never have been voted into office due to the simple fact that White (& apparently racist) people make up over half of the population in the United States, with Black people being a relatively small percentage. Common sense tells us that sheer numbers would have prevented Obama from ever being elected. It is therefore obvious that that majority of White Middle America are NOT racist. Honestly man,
I tend to agree that all this worry is mainly hype and sensationalized and easy to buy into over the internet by people who like to talk a lot instead of DO anything. However, this kind of discussion and thinking has been going on a hell of a lot longer than Obama has been on the scene.
It’s not racism. It’s genuine concern for the lack of transparency within the governments and businesses of the world. Which is legitimate, just a bit hyped up.
I’d be very, very surprised if any US (or world) government was able to enslave the whole country. Americans are the MOST patriotic, nationalistic people on earth. I can guarantee that most of them will fight tooth and nail before submitting to slavery.

How would a world currency be any different than our current U.S. currency. We’ve had 96 yrs of a centralized U.S. bank aka the Federal Reserve Bank controlling our money and economy and it has been the reason for every major economic down turn and crisis in that 96 yrs. I really like how the ignorant use the word “aint” incorrectly. “Ain’t” is a contraction of “am not” It can be used correctly, however, in the phrase “A book aint a source” is not the correct use of it. I’m reading what your posts and trying to get a grasp of what your idea of the human race really is and suddenly it struck me.
The reason I oppose world anything, currency, governing bodies, any of it, is because the proponets of these things have a “hive mentality.” Its like you guys wants us to all be the same, all be alike, all have the same world view, we are all the same. Its the bbizarre mantra thats repeated over and over.

Here is how I see it. The central bankers, the IMF, and the Bilderbergers are imploding the world’s economies by design, and are attempting to successfully pull off a Problem/reaction/solution operation. Isn’t it sad that every year we celebrate Independence Day by closing down every business, closing the stock market, spending time with our families and launching fireworks all day, and yet people in this country can actually say with a straight face “what’s wrong with a world government?” My god, this country is only 223 years old! That’s like the blink of an eye. We fought for this country… and hard. Let’s cherrish it – for God’s sake, we’ve earned it.
Not to mention – the people that wrote the Constitution were geniuses. Do you really think a world government made of bankers or a government designed by a population that was under tyranny and oppression their entire lives would be more effective. There is a reason the bill of rights was drafted… its because every government wants to take away these rights that Americans (SHOULD) feel are god given.
