Ex-Vice President Dick Cheney charged in bribery case in Nigeria

Dick Cheney has been charged with bribery … in Nigeria.

Officials from the African nation’s Economic and Financial Crimes Commission said the ex-vice president is one of nine accused of “conspiracy and distribution of gratification to public officials,” according to CNN.

The charges stem from efforts to obtain gas contracts during the time Cheney was chairman and CEO of Halliburton from 1995 to 2000.
