On December 29, Steve Watson wrote about a man attempting to board a flight in Corpus Christi with a 14-inch sword concealed within a cane as part of his carry on luggage. The man flew to DFW airport to board a connecting flight, where the weapon was discovered.
The incident was caught on cell phone video by one of Alex Jones’ video producers, Rob Dew. The video follows along with Dew’s statement.
On Christmas Eve I was traveling to meet family and I noticed the TSA were giving an individual the 3rd degree. He was dressed in black light jacket, white shorts and white skull cap. The location of this was DFW airport in Concourse B in front gate B9.
The TSA agents made the individual through the scanner twice and his suitcase was open on and one TSA agent was searching through it. The TSA gave a box to one of two police officers that were on the scene. The police officer was pulled a cane of a box looked at it and put it back in the box. Another TSA officer and a 2nd Police officer were questioning the individual in the white skull cap. The 2nd officer pulled cuffs out of his belt and proceeded to cuff the individual.
At this time I pulled out my iphone which was shut down and began the startup sequence. The police officer handed which I assume was the head TSA agent a little card, the agent proceeded to read from the card to the individual. I could not hear what he was saying but I assume it was a version of the Miranda rights.
My phone finally started up and I began to shoot video of the incident. At time my plane began to board and another TSA motion to me to put my camera down. So I put my camera down and boarded the plane.
