The Financial Times points out that farmers rely on credit, and credit is drying up.
One of the top experts on derivatives, economist Nassim Nicholas Taleb, warns
that supermarkets may not be able to borrow against their inventory, and will thus be forced to shut down.
I hope they’re wrong. But when experts like Roubini and Taleb warn of a potential problem, I have to listen.

With Today being Thanksgiving day, it appears we as a people have forgotten to give the Thanks we do have food still to feed ourselves with. We’ve forgotten what it is to be thankful for what we do have. maybe even remember a few who have gone from us and this world. remember what they have done for us,too. How about you all stop ‘giving thanks’ on THIS day and start giving thanks on all days? How about not celebrating ‘Thanksgiving Day’ as some special day (that gets used by the corporate meda to induce you to buy things – like Chritmas Day) and start taking everyday seriously? And when I say seriously, I mean my respecting your family, your neighbours, and your rights.
Be an intelligent adult, not some TV-believing, government-obeying puppet that can be led by the nose with a consumerism-hyped carrot.

They do not agree with how God chooses to handle these type of events so they choose to speak against him or deny him.
