Faith-Based and Unconstitutional

On February 6, the blog section of the White House website announced a recent executive order signed by Obama establishing the new White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships. “Instead of driving us apart, our very beliefs can bring us together,” Obama said on February 5 during the National Prayer Breakfast. “E pluribus unum, in other words,” the blog declared.
“Whether it’s connecting groups that are training people to do new jobs, or figuring out the role of faith-based organizations in combating global climate change, this office creates those partnerships in a way that’s responsible, constitutional, and — bottom line — helps those in need,” said Joshua DuBois, a Pentecostal pastor, social activist, and former campaign religious outreach director who was appointed to lead Obama’s faith-based initiative.
Mr. DuBois is apparently unaware of what the father of the Constitution and Bill of Rights, James Madison, had to say about such efforts.
On February 21, 1811, Madison argued against an effort by the House of Representatives to incorporate the Protestant Episcopal Church in the town of Alexandria, in the District of Columbia. Madison objected to the bill because it exceeded “the rightful authority to which governments are limited by the essential distinction between civil and religious functions, and violates in particular the article of the Constitution of the United States which declares that ‘Congress shall make no law respecting a religious establishment’… Because the bill vests in the said incorporated church an authority to provide for the support of the poor and the education of poor children of the same, an authority which, being altogether superfluous if the provision is to be the result of pious charity, would be a precedent for giving to religious societies as such a legal agency in carrying into effect a public and civil duty.” (Emphasis added.)

In a more general sense, no matter how worthwhile an end may be, if there is no constitutional authority to pursue it, then the federal government must step aside and leave the matter to the states or to private parties, as Robert A. Levy notes.
Obama’s executive order will extend by fiat to private religious organizations (see the list on the White House blog) the sort of “legal agency” Madison argued violates the spirit and letter of the Constitution. The job of “training people to do new jobs” or “combating global climate change” are not federal functions enumerated in the Constitution.
Obama’s Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships has nothing to do with jobs or climate change. It is simply another heavy-handed effort to insert the federal government in the lives of the American people.
Ronald Reagan may have betrayed the ideals of liberty and small government he claimed to profess, but he did say something that is particularly relevant to Obama’s latest effort to have the feds meddle in our lives: “The nine most terrifying words in the English language are: ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help.’”

Their are some people in America that I just don’t care to identify with . . . Keep in mind this is a blatant attempt for big government to take out the Church, I have worked for several Faith Based Organizations in past years. If you believe in The Lord Jesus Christ, they have no need for you. They hire any one who is or who claims to be the Oppressed Minority, they will do to Christians like they did public education around 1890 or close to it. And we all know how they made the education process better, to suite their own needs that is how we got where we are now.
I don’t shop at government regulated stores, like Wal-Mart either. I don’t care to be stopped or waved at by people I don’t know because I moved into a known crack house down the street, or drive another dope dealers car.

Like much of scripture and prophecy it has dual meaning and dual fulfilment. Yes it does represent a satanic kingdom or organization but revelation 13 and on from there speaks also about an individual called the Beast. He probably stands at the head of the organization called the beast. The Beast and the False Prophet are men. Romans 13 does not apply anymore. Paul specifically says in this quote that the Governement does not bring terror on people who are innocent. It basically says to obey the Governement…until they break the commandments of God. That is what the sealing process is over like in Dan 3. and Gen chapter 4. The tithes or 10th parts referenced in the book of Malachi were part of an arrangement in the Mosaic Law that looked out for the tribe of Levi who had not been given a land inheritance like the other tribes, but rather a priestly inheritance. The Mosaic Law was part of a covenant made with the nation of Israel.
To understand how the Christian Congregation was financed in the first century, I suggest reading the enitre Christian Greek Scriptures.
There you will see a picture of how even those responsible for taking the lead in the congregations, like Paul, had their own jobs and supported themselves, and how contributions rather than tithes were given to support the needs of the congregation, (as a whole), to support their preaching work, and to watch over widows and orphans, and to cause an equalizing by carrying the burdens across many congregations that ranged from rich to poor. People did this according to their own means, and was voluntary.
Although the principles of the Mosaic Law are relevant for Christians, not to murder, steal, covet, etc., the particular of laws that identified them as nation in a covenant relationship with God were nailed to the stake with Christ. Circumcision is a perfect example of that, with the older men of the congregation’s decision in that regard found at Act 15:19,20, 28, 29.

I saw an interesting symbolic film today. Under World 3 Rise of the Lycans.

Are we seeing a type of HAARP or scaler technogy here, that can fry a bird’s central nervous system while in flight, as in the recent cases of pelicans and starlings falling from sky on both the east & west coasts? Could this also be some new air defense technology, that can shut down the jet engines of an Airbus???
This looks like a double-play card at work, that is it’s “two mints in one.”
That is, they could be testing some sort of new air defense system that can kill off birds that could potentially be carrying a pandemic as they migrate, or the system might be able to disrupt the electronics of a plane’s engines, forcing it to land or crash land.
Scaler, HAARP, EMP, ELF, hummm, something does not add up, or should I say something is beginning to add up!
I believe GE makes the Airbus engine and I wonder what kind of electronics are involved with the plane’s engines? Is it an engine that can be remotely shut off? Was this a drill???

How right both you guys are REB and Paula. The Catholic Church has shed more innocent blood than any institution on the face of this earth. I am a seventh day adventist Christian, who knows much about historya and even more scripturally based evidence. The really sad thing is that the bible says in Rev 13: There is a lamb like beast, that has two hons like a lamb…..but speaks as a dragon! He causes the whole world to make an image to the first beast(Rome). So this lamb like beast means that it is a country that was just beginning in 1798….and has characteristics that are lamb like( or christ like…since he is the Lamb)…you guessed right. America was seen as a ratified country and acknowledged by France in 1798….France was also responsible for the death of Papal Rule, as done by Napoleons general. So the same year that one was killed, the othe one was born….COINCIDENCE? No…you see these lamb like qualities are the Constitution and BIll of Rights. The freedom of religion, press, holding assembly and all the other God given rights that were taken away in the old country. I am glad that Alex Jones and Infowars is coming down on the Constitutional side of this despite Alex’s religious beliefs. It can get a bit tedious when he goes off onto his “you better listen all you atheists” rants.
The vast majority of atheists are freedom loving, moral people. Jones talks about a few eugenisists and paints all atheists as either dupes of the NWO or closet serial killers. I thought they were all Luciferians? Atheism is not a monolithic belief system. All it means is a lack in a belief in God.

I understand what you are saying. But what is spirituality? What is a soul? Aren’t these also ideas dreamed up by humanity? Is it the idea that a part of us exists beyond the grave? This is a nice idea but I don’t see any more evidence for it than the existance of god.
I see compassion and love as products of our evolution as social beings. I could be wrong, but the facts point me in this direction. Julia Sweeney says in the very funny and insightful “Letting go of God” to paraphrase from memory, “Oh no I don’t believe in God anymore. Why don’t I just run out and start MURDERING PEOPLE! Whats to stop me from MURDER! Oh it’s because murder has not been in my nature all along. I didn’t need a book to tell me so.”
Atheists could turn cold hearted and indifferent to human life by their beliefs just as the Bible says the ancient Israelites went in and killed all their non Yahweh worshiping enemies, etc. etc. We are talking about human nature on a bell curve. thousand pints of lite, I have noticed the exact same thing that you have about the Coastocoast AM radio program with George Noory and Ian Punit. I listen to it when they
have some educated guest’s on just to see what they are talking about. Sometimes the
show is good, when they have a guest that really knows their Bible. Most of the times
though, they have to much of the weird s--- on all about ghosts and contacting the dead,

Noah preached 120 years…and it came!? Do you think well figure it out when Jesus is coming(note he said “day or hour…no one would know..”but not season? Just something I think about. There is a 7,000 year Chronology that shows Jesus and God are a God of time….and do everything according to the callendar of God. Dude, I don’t think it is the same Alexandria. Congress was voting on the bill, a Congressional separation of church and state would not have applied in 1811 to the town charter of Alexandria, VA. This appears to be an incorporated area (at that time) of DC, over which Congress has authority. Maybe it is called something else now?

Its basically that the earth is comiing up to 6,000 years of age, and the last 1,000. will be in Heaven at the wedding feast. This all has to do with 6 days of creation….rest on the 7the day sabbath. Ofc it’s unconstitutional – that’s the whole point. The more outrageous they can make the red herrings, the better the diversions they make in order to distract from the $trillions looted. This is another problem-reaction-solution. There is no end to the different ways that these freaks can come up with to legislate our lives.
First, create a needy population by taking away their jobs, and collapsing the economy, and putting them in fear for their survival. Then… voila! “Faith-Based” community services start popping up all over the place to assist all the “needy” people. And, a lot more people start looking for “God” when the chips are down, too…
The government has absolutely NO BUSINESS dabbling in “faith-based” ANYTHING.
Spirituality (NOT “religion”… two different things) is a very personal and individual thing. We are all each on our own personal paths to enlightenment. Messing around with people’s personal spirituality is akin to messing around with Mother Nature. Big taboo. Big No-No.
If Obama and minions start trying to enforce certain “spiritualities” on others, they are in for a very rude awakening. Literally.
This may be where they finally end up all hanging themselves; or doing themselves in—once they begin to try to implement their one-world religion plan. They are too self-centered and unaware to know about Natural Law (obviously) and they will be going into a realm with an entirely different set of rules than the ones that they are accustomed to “playing” by.
You know, there are just certain basic and pro-survival Laws of the Universe that aren’t supposed to tampered with.
These pompous power-tripping goons will try to step over the line, and then we won’t have to worry about them anymore.
