In the wake of Donald Trump’s Super Tuesday victories and the continued success of his campaign, you’ve likely seen all sorts of reactions on your Facebook and Twitter feeds (depending on what kinds of social-media friends you have, insert your own adjectives in front of “reactions” accordingly). And it’s not just people you went to high school with and haven’t spoken to in a decade who are speaking out about Trump; if you follow Miley Cyrus on Instagram, you have learned this week that she has very strong feelings about the candidate, as well.
Cyrus’s panic began the night the Super Tuesday returns came in, as she posted a screenshot of the Marco Rubio–Ted Cruz-Trump leaderboard with the very Cyrus-y comment, “gonna vom / move out da country #aintapartyindausaanymo”—which is some pretty decent hashtag work!
After switching lanes to a TBT of her and Justin Bieber, she returned to politics, posting a composite of Trump posing for a photo with a woman, whom we see in the second photo hoisting a mountain lion she killed. The third shot in the composite, as you can see right here, shows Cyrus in tears. In a lengthy caption, Cyrus writes that she is “scared and sad” and her “heart is broken into a 100000 pieces,” and she thinks she “may vomit.” She concludes, “Honestly fuck this shit I am moving if this is my president! I don’t say things I don’t mean!”
