FDA Threatens to Seize All Natural Products that Dare to Mention H1N1 Swine Flu

In an effort to censor any online text that might inform consumers of the ability of natural products to protect consumers from H1N1 influenza A, the FDA is now sending out a round of warning letters, threatening to “take enforcement action… such as seizure or injunction for violations of the FFDC Act without further notice.”
“Firms that fail to take correction action,” the FDA warns, “may also be referred to the FDA’s Office of Criminal Investigations for possible criminal prosecution for violations of the FFDC Act and other federal laws.”
The message is crystal clear: No product may be described as protecting against or preventing H1N1 infections unless it is approved by the FDA. And which products has the FDA approved? Tamiflu (the anti-viral drug that most people will never have access to), and soon the new H1N1 vaccine that’s being manufactured at a cost of one billion dollars (paid to Big Pharma by the taxpayers). This vaccine, of course, will be utterly useless because H1N1 will undoubtedly mutate between now and the time the vaccine is ready, rendering the vaccine useless.

This article is complete and utter BS and normally I enjoy every article on this site but I can totally see why the FDA is shutting down these herbal remedies. When it comes to herbs there are many that actually work and Big Pharma will find them, scoop them up and use them as the main derivatives for drugs, specifically anti-malaria drugs come to mind. If these herbs work as well as some of you claim, then these companies can show their research and results, apply for an IND, run trials on humans for safety and efficacy like all other drug products and finally apply for an NDA. I have yet to see any of these herbs point out any logical mechanism of action to prevent or treat viral infections. Until they can back up their claims, the FDA should shut their undocumented wonder-drug distribution down.

Lets establish something here. A herb isn’t a drug. Second Kevin Treadu is banned from tv and has a 20 million dollar law suite against him for his best selling book Kevin Trudeau’s natural cures. I’m under the impression the way you wrote your opinion it seems like you think and trust big brother to tell you what is and what isn’t good for you. I suggest you call the Fda and ask them what they consider the appropiate amount of tap water you should drink per day because the dumbing down process seems to be working really good in your case and you might not be even taking the correct amount they suggest on a daily basis.

Excuse me, but you don’t know what you’re talking about. Big Pharma will never go to using natural suppliments because they can’t patient them, and make billions. The FDA seems to have no problem with the drugs that Big Pharma puts out that kills thousands every year. More people die from legal drugs in this country than illegal ones. If it was a natural suppliment, it would be gone in a heartbeat. There is nothing they would like more that to get rid of our suppliments. Then all we would have left is their nasty drugs full of side effects. Natural things DO work. I take them myself. My doctor wanted to put me on Fosamax. Instead I did some research on what suppliments to take, and I am fine now. The same with my husband who took prednesone for years. The doctor was SURE he’d have bad bone loss. NOT. It made me laugh.

Yeah, maybe the FDA can suggest the drug Ali for treatment of flu symptoms since it has been approved and has been working so well for weight loss and the loss of one’s liver! How could you let the people that are f-n you, without the k-y jelly, do what they are doing to you…on ALL levels? Jesus, HE had balls. My suggestion, stop going to church, and STOP feeding the money changers. Let’s spend time ACTUALLY reading God’s word together and let’s get on the same page (any page), as a community. A real relationship with God means you have to deny yourself and spend a little more time loving your neighbor; the same way you love the man’s newest/latest gadgets that are only designed to steal more of your soul and keep you in bondage.

This flu is going all around where I work, and it is very very mild. Sore throat, fever, cough, body aches over in 4 days, but really NOTHING like the strain around winter of 08. I had that seasonal flu and was on my ass for 10 days. Never felt so bad in my life!! Ended up in the ED severely dehydrated from fever. Even kids with cancer are getting this H1N1 flu and are doing just fine with it so far. As long as it stays like this it is not bad at all. This hype is total bullshit.

Vitamin D prevents the flu. The sun produces vitamin D in the human body. In the winter time there is less sunlight reaching the earth. Thats why flu’s are so rampid in the fall and winter.

i would be willing to bet that the uk will be the second testing ground for the improved version of the h1n1 super flying pig virus. mexico city was the beta test to see how strong thier new toy was. obviously it wasnt strong enough cause it only killed a low number of people. it spread like wild fire and got plenty of people sick but its fatality rate wasnt high enough. they had to rework the virus so they can rerelease it in the fall. the WHO are warning it will be more potent then the first time because they mutated it a little and will test it out again hoping that they made it better then before. i predict that by october ‘09 you will start hearing about a huge outbreak in the uk which will spread faster then before and will kill more people then before. Well, they can’t shut me down for spreading info on what I know about effective herbal/nutritional remedies, because I don’t make any money off of it.
Here are some to start with: Oregano oil, grapefruit seed extract, echinacea, elderberry extract or syrup, Buried Treasure’s “ACF”, colloidal silver, Oscillococcinum (homeopathy). (etc)
Come on folks, share what you know. What’s your favorites? Mine is echinacea. But if I were to catch a flu/cold. I’d probably grab the ACF first.
It’s obvious what the FDA is up to.

Sometimes drink some warmed wine and going to bed helps ( do this with caution) I’m not recommending you get drunk just drink two to three wine glasses. The best way is not to overwork your body like staying up late and not sleeping enough, less then 6 hours is bad, sleep 8 – 9 hours, lost of walking or for those who can exercise do aereobic and weight training.
Avoid soy products, and MSG, GMO foods, cloned meat, Good hygiene is important but avoid over washing your body and avoid using antiseptic soaps.
Have some cold pressed virgin olive oil, a teaspoon in the morning with something to drink. if you have a liver problem be careful and do it once every threes days and drink lots of water. Avoid sugars, breads, and artificial sugars, and diet foods. Cilantro is a good herb with healing properties, dandelion leaves are great.

The issue here is about government controlling what people can obtain and take, but realistically, these ‘natural healing’ things are just so much snake oil. You people should wake up and take a look at the crap that the GCN folks advertise and try to cram down your throat. The ratio of actual good things vs total ripoffs on this station (and indeed ALL ‘Patriot Radio’ and even people like Limbaugh’s shows) is WAY off kilter. It’s hard to tell since everything is sold to you by fear as well. Guess they figure you are tuning in to hear Alex’s dose of fearmongering every day so might as well use the same emotion to sell you some absolute crap.
No, the government doesn’t have any business telling you what you can or cannot buy and put into your body. That also means you have to be smart enough to not take some sugar pills to try and cure cancer too.

The funny thing here is I almost wrote oregano pills instead of sugar pills there as an example of something that would be just an illustration of something inert that would be used to trick stupid people and low and behold, one of the things actually being pushed by these folks is …oregano oil.
