FDIC’s Bair Says Insurance Fund Could Be Insolvent This Year

Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. Chairman Sheila Bair said the deposit insurance fund could dry up amid a surge in bank failures, as she responded to an industry outcry against new fees approved by the agency.

“A large number” of bank failures may occur through 2010 because of “rapidly deteriorating economic conditions,” Bair said in the letter. “Without substantial amounts of additional assessment revenue in the near future, current projections indicate that the fund balance will approach zero or even become negative.”

But your protest idea in my opinion is only temporary protest and nothing they fear.

News about how the F.D.I.C. possibly being insolvent should be enough information to tell you that your money is not safe!!!
Get it out while you can. You might need to start before March 15th to draw out 9k at a time.
Anything over 10k withdraw cannot occur for 15 days and they will stop you.

Well, I already closed my savings account 6 months ago, I advised others to do the same, they just laughed and said that the money was insured. Too bad they didn’t listen!

You know when people say wake up what does that mean to you?
Does it mean wake up and see how crooked the government is, a majority of people do know that.
Wake up and share with others?
Well all of us have this knowledge of the NWO its in mainstream news
Now I feel that most people who say they are awake arent really.
Your lulled into more silence because you believe you have learned some secret truth and when you share it with others they reject it.

Has your daily routine changed?
Have you stopped buying products from large corporations?

And even if you answer yes to one or two of those do you feel it was effective?
There is no winning unless we all shut off our computers and get together to make a solid plan on marching into Washington and meeting face to face with out officials.
Otherwise they dont recognize that you are human. These people dont see our numbers or our faces through letters or anything else.
We all need to get together and come up with great detail what to discuss with the elected powers instead of sitting around complaining that nothing is getting done.
If we all got together and said forget out jobs for a week. Forget our plans for the week and get together and speak to them face to face
If you are not recognized as a physical person they will never take it seriously
Letter writing accomplishes nothing
If you receive a collections notice by mail do you feel threatened by it?
Do you say its just the bank or collections dept?
Thats not a certain person that is not physical and you dont care
But if you walk into a store and the owner tells you that you may not purchase anymore because of debt you will take it seriously and work hard to correct the debt.
Why because its in person physical
We all need to personally stand up whats to fear we will all die one day right.
The thing is even when we die the world keeps going and our kids and grandchildren will have to deal with this with less of a fight because when the elders die history dies.

My intension was to help find an answer to our conmen problems. How I became a spy, and a enemy troll for a few, is unclear.
I’m even being graded on spelling, not accuracy or the merit of my ideas. I never post here, there is such a readiness to violence it really turns me off. I see Guns as a RIGHT to Bare, but as a last method of defense, a mans survival and right to exist. Not an excuse to insight death and violence and cause loss and harm to others. If our people desire self governing, then the ability to self govern starts there, demonstrating self control and the ability to shape and live out our lives in peace with respect and equality for all others.
If “we the people “want a change of Gov. and its policies, we have that guaranteed right, it must be done collectively and in a sensible peaceful manor for it to have credibility and not cause it to escalate into a disorderly violent destructive mistake, that brings harm and loss to all those you love. I don’t understand why “lock n load” seems to be the 1st choice? Our forefathers were intelligent, bold men, not savages.
These are your God given rights, undeniable by any man, Gov. or religion. It was the principal reason the country was formed. The law requires you to ; form collectively as 1 and give notice.. As a constitutionalist I understand my agreement as a citizen of this republic.
When our gov. became a” legal corporation for profit” My consent was never given, there must be consent for it to be legal. To think we must undergo some type of revolution and violence is totally ludicrous. Stand Up collectively and give notice. Violence should be reserved as a last line of defense, not to have our demands be herd. The privatization for profit of prisons and gov. was not the deal, I totally agree you. So if Lock n Load is your only solution ,perhaps I’m in the wrong place. I ‘m looking for less madness then we have now ,not more. We allowed our gov. to make profit on feedom…and ignor our laws. How can bailing out insovent money with more insolvent money make the FDIC insolvent? Just print more insolvent money to replace the insolvent money that was lost due to insolvency. Simple, really! Just more fearmongering from this person who the Senate holds in such high esteem.

How anyone who is fortunate enough to have a large amount of cash in the bank could leave it there and not transfer it into gold is beyond me.
Even if all of your money is insured,would you want to be on the phone for a couple hours getting thru the bureaucracy to get refunded?

How encouraging that SOMEONE in the administration recognizes that there isn’t any such thing as a free lunch. Okay, *SARCASM OFF*. FDIC won’t survive long term, we CAN’T afford it. Here’s a novel idea, since the bank is responsible to it’s depositors, why don’t we legally make them back all deposits or stop being a bank? Why is it that in a free market economy, the government is so intent on trying to provide safety nets? My answer reads “Because the United States hasn’t been a free market in fact for a very long time!”.

Quis Custodiet ipsos custodes?..the eternal question! ha The ‘watchdogs’ have all been sated..having become gorged on our ’substance’, and have sided with those against whom they were supposed to guard. There’s no protection..no “safety net”, anymore. I’ve been out of the banking system for 15 years (not that I’d have much to consign to them!) without regrets.
The best advice I could offer to folks is to distance yourselves from banks. Withdraw money in an orderly, systematic fashion..keep cash on hand at home (secured–pref. in a safe) and only keep enough money ‘on deposit’ to conduct business (for e.g., meeting payroll, automated deductions for internet, etc.)

We started the day with three Fema blogs, one of which was the GB statement.
All three were taking on many bloggers. Becks were the first to come on board.
All of a sudden the one of the fema blogs was removed. I made a comment how the second one would disappear and it sure did.
The only one left is the GB blog, I wonder if it will stay up?
Is Alex owned, I am sorry for saying it? But why the hottest topic would be taken off the board. How long do we have to read about cops beating up little girls? Not to mention the stories are old news.
Fema camps have been a big focus and concern for many of us. We know what they stand for!
