The Federal Reserve, Treasury Department and Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation have lent or spent almost $3 trillion over the past two years and pledged up to $5.7 trillion more. The Senate is to vote this week on an economic-stimulus measure of at least $780 billion. It would need to be reconciled with an $819 billion plan the House approved last month.
Only the stimulus bill to be approved this week, the $700 billion Troubled Asset Relief Program passed four months ago and $168 billion in tax cuts and rebates enacted in 2008 have been voted on by lawmakers. The remaining $8 trillion is in lending programs and guarantees, almost all under the Fed and FDIC. Recipients’ names have not been disclosed.

What, even if it is related to the topic???
I think anyone offering solutions to protect consumers from further theft should be allowed to.
People need to know that getting their financial affairs out of the hands of scum bucket leeches is easier than they think and it’s how we can show the bankers that its OUR money in the first place so hands off.

Paying off 90% of all home mortgages would be a huge boost to the economy that would last for years. But then the banks couldn’t screw us twice so that was never on the table so to speak. Face it folks these criminals belong on the business end of a rope. They just criminal running a poorly presented fraud. Giving away $billions in bonuses to other complicit criminals should have led to arrests at the least. Although alot of Congress people have signed on to audit the FED, this should yhave been done initially as a matter of course, not a G##Damn afterthought. Call by all means and raise hell till they won’t answer your calls. It seems this insanity needs to be met with equal amounts of insanity..

Yup. Actually, with only 1 trillion spent, they could give each of 130 million people $7692. I would pay off my student loan with that, and perhaps buy something nice with the remainder. For a friend of mine, that would be about six months worth of mortgage/property tax payments. That would certainly be pretty nice, and it would all inevitably trickle up, as money tends to roll uphill (even whilst the shit rolleth down).

Lets see, $7692 would take me through the summer, maybe give me time to find another job.
What would the money do? Rent paid on time, REI makes money and their stocks improve, electric and water paid on time, money for the utility companies, no rate hikes for the other users, gas card paid on time, oil companies make money, credit cards paid, banks make money and now have more money to lend to a new business that will hire more people. Nice down payment on a vehicle, salesman makes commission and keeps his family off welfare, Detroit makes money, a auto worker keeps his job. Maybe go have dinner with old friends, local restaurant makes money, the waiter makes money and pays off his student loan, the banks make money and can lend to another deserving student.
Naw, this is far too easy, and besides why should the politicians give back money they have already stolen?

I heard what she said, but my mind wouldn’t let me understand it until I had listened to her own words and let the full magnitude sink in.
She just said that the Inspector General of the Federal Reserve does not have JURISDICTION to audit the books of its member banks! Please, anyone reading this, research Depositary Trust Corporation, CEDE & Co. and learn that the Federal Reserve, through two front companies owned by its member banks, OWN THE ENTIRE STOCK MARKET OF THE USA.
