Federal Lawsuit Filed Against Janet Napolitano Over Homeland Security’s Rightwing Extremism Policy

ANN ARBOR, MI – The Thomas More Law Center, a national public interest law firm based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, announced today that it has filed a federal lawsuit against Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano. The lawsuit claims that her Department’s “Rightwing Extremism Policy,” as reflected in the recently publicized Intelligence Assessment, “Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment,” violates the civil liberties of combat veterans as well as American citizens by targeting them for disfavored treatment on account of the political beliefs.

The lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan on behalf of nationally syndicated conservative radio talk show host Michael Savage, Gregg Cunningham (President of the pro-life organization Center for Bio-Ethical Reform, Inc (CBR)), and Iraqi War Marine veteran Kevin Murray. The Law Center claims that Napolitano’s Department (DHS) has violated the First and Fifth Amendment Constitutional rights of these three plaintiffs by attempting to chill their free speech, expressive association, and equal protection rights. The lawsuit further claims that the Department of Homeland Security encourages law enforcement officers throughout the nation to target and report citizens to federal officials as suspicious rightwing extremists and potential terrorists because of their political beliefs.
Richard Thompson, President and Chief Counsel of the Thomas More Law Center stated, “The Obama Administration has declared war on American patriots and our Constitution. The Report even admits that the Department has no specific information on any plans of violence by so-called ‘rightwing extremists.’ Rather, what they do have is the expression of political opinions by certain individuals and organizations that oppose the Obama administration’s policies, and this expression is protected speech under the First Amendment.”
Thompson added, “Janet Napolitano is lying to the American people when she says the Report is not based on ideology or political beliefs. In fact, her report would have the admiration of any current or past dictator in the way it targets political opponents.”
The Report specifically mentions the following political beliefs that law enforcement should use to determine whether someone is a “rightwing extremist”:
• Opposes restrictions on firearms
• Opposes lax immigration
• Opposes the policies of President Obama regarding immigration, citizenship and the expansion of social programs
• Opposes continuation of free trade agreements
• Opposes same-sex marriage
• Has paranoia of foreign regimes
• Fear of Communist regimes
• Opposes one world government
• Bemoans the decline of U.S. stature in the world.
• Upset with loss of U.S. manufacturing jobs to China and India
• . . . and the list goes on

The Law Center is asking the court to declare that the DHS policy violates the First and Fifth Amendments, to permanently enjoin the Policy and its application to the plaintiffs’ speech and other activities, and to award the plaintiffs their reasonable attorney’s fees and costs for having to bring the lawsuit.

It was correct of you not to capitalize god. If you read the book of Romans, we will see that Yahshuah didn’t pay taxes. Simon Peter paid the taxes in Matthew 24. Yahshuah told us if we want to be part of their system, you have to follow their rules. However, if you want to have only one master, Elohim, then you aren’t in their jurisdiction or contract. Freedom comes through obedience to the word. I found it to be the least amount of laws that enable the largest amount of freedom. It isn’ Yahshuah that is punishing us right now, it is the god known as government that we are contracting with that is punishing us. Patriot1.. thank you for your response – I will check out that website. I do understand that this contracting with the govt does exist… in fact as a naturalized US citizen, I even signed a contract to pay my taxes. That said, since they are outright criminals – I think it will be much like telling a burglar who has broken into my home that it is against the law to do what he is doing and that it would be wrong to rape my wife or kill my kids… psychopaths don’t care!
I respect your beliefs in a god, however I know that this is the result of brainwashing and the religions have been put in place by the same people/force that has controlled us throughout the ages. You mention having only one master… elohim, however this word translates into “the gods” plural. There is no room here to elaborate but I have done my research and reached my conclusions… I only accept one master and that is myself!

You are correct in your translation of “Elohim”, however, I have known of this translation for years yet I found it to be an allusion to the Trinity as it in this form means three or more. It could be possible. However, “Elohim” wasnt used every time the name of God was mentioned. He had many names. Eloha (singular form for god), El Shaddai (God Almighty/Lord of the Mountain/God All Sufficient), Adonai is another used in the OT, it means Lord. To suggest that “the gods” might be an allusion to the preposterous and absurd notion of a trinity is really scraping the bottom of the barrel. You have to first understand where the old testiment stories come from and what they are a re-hash of to understand what the gods plural means. In addition the christian trinity is far from the first. Simple fix, after the revolution, we hold a constitution convention, remove the archaic stuff about slavery and counting persons, strengthen the 1st ten amendments, get rid of the fed and income tax withholding and abolish all debts to enemies of the state, including foreign nations who have worked to undermine the US. Well, at least you’re thinking about the fix. That’s more than can be said for most comments I see here. I hope we don’t come to war, but a Con Con without taking the criminal element out of government would be suicide for rights. I agree though, however we fix the first problem, we need to update the safeguards to strengthen and guarantee our rights. How about including an amendment to stop the Supreme Court from re-writing the Constitution from the bench? Let it be amended that their power may only extend to declaring a law, in whole, unconstitutional as it stands and write recommendations for legislators to fix it, such as deleting powers or directives that are specifically against the Constitution?

I would say that I am just a strong woman but not neccessarily butch or fem. I have long hair but Im pretty buff. The funny thing is that there are alot of people even in the community that push that butch fem dichotomy and dont realize that you dont need to conform to anyone’s notion of who you should be with and what they should be like. My girlfriend is pretty butch but Im more dominant. I can pull off lipstick but I shock the boys when I pull up to the firing line at the range with my AR’s and pop targets at 300yds.

This is an outstanding idea. I think the best way to find out which government leaders are traitors, enemies of the state, and/ or terrorists is to investigate and see who is on the CFR. Political leaders who are members of the CFR will commit treacherous (treason) acts and see nothing wrong in doing so because it is their job as a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Further, they may even believe that it is for the benefit of the country since they believe it is for the better of the world. They are blind guides. This is an undeniable conflict of interest. If the law enforcement, soldiers and sailors etc. would awaken to their deception and refuse to push their agenda as the muscle of their movement; their efforts would be severely hindered. They must be educated by their superiors and be true freedom fighters, aware of the Constitution and educated about ALL that oppose it. It should be the core of their training since an oath before God was given to uphold it. If they don’t believe in God, that is fine, and hopefully they believe they are a person of their word. Before the people can truly be set free; their minds must be freed. Our opposition is only making themselves more obvious as the next solar maximum approaches. We saw their last sacrifice on the previous solar maximum. That fateful day that catapulted the world into a state of fear and manipulation and began a war over WMDs that did not exist.

TAX ATTACK TWO AFTER THE TEA PARTY
Every business in every city across America should gather and decide to not withhold taxes! That would be a great follow up to the April 15th Tea Party. Why should businesses voluntarily with hold taxes especially when they are not getting paid for their efforts. Forced tax collection is involuntary servitude when businesses are not reimbursed for collecting taxes. Secondly when people receive all of their weekly earnings then they will realize how much the government steals from them. The people who receive a government check want higher taxes because they get a bigger paycheck! Government employees should only be allowed a 1/2 vote in national and state elections maybe they shouldn’t vote at all.
Back to my point, withholding taxes from our paychecks began during WWII (That’s World War 2 for you folks down home) and this withholding of taxes was suppose to be a temporary action, but as usual anytime the government can get its hands on the people’s money it becomes a permanent government right. i.e. The Social Security Trust Fund is neither social or secure and trust me the fund has been raided by the politicians long ago! So let’s encourage businesses, especially small businesses, to not withhold taxes! Let the people put their entire paycheck into their personal banking account and then when they have to write the check to the US Treasury they won’t be so passive when congress starts beating the Tax Drum. I guess this letter makes me a right wing extremist. Are their any Left wing extremist out their feeling the federal heat? Me thinks not! Good day.

Realize that the Federal government has been took over by the private banks of the Federal Reserve. Your repersentives in Washington or on their payroll and do not repersent you anymore.
It is high time to abolish the current Central Government and start a new one for the States.

To our Vets, including My Dad..Purple Heart WW2 Vetern, On behalf of all the reasonable people we know, on both sides of the isle….I appologise for the hurtfull and just plain wrong comments issued by Dept HLS. It is my belief that The President should immeadiatly terminate the Secretarys tenure. And if he has any Balls, Apologize on all Media to all Men and Woman who have placed their life, time and familys to keep us safe.
I wonder if the 1st Lady is feeling proud of her husband and his actions on behalf of THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!
