In a brazen effort to rekindle the flagging global war on terror and demonize Muslims, the media is attempting to link the accused Fort Hood shooter to Anwar al-Awlaki, said to be an al-Qaeda “spiritual adviser.”
Nidal Malik Hasan worshiped at a mosque led by Anwar al-Awlaki along with three of the supposed September 11, 2001, hijackers, according to The Sunday Telegraph. Hasan attended the Dar al-Hijrah mosque in Great Falls, Virginia, in 2001 at the same time as Khalid al-Mihdhar and Nawaf al-Hazmi.
According to the official version of events, Khalid al-Mihdhar was one of five hijackers of American Airlines Flight 77 on September 11, 2001. He fought in the Bosnian War during the 1990s and was in Afghanistan in 1999 with Osama bin Laden.
The Muslim war in Bosnia was engineered in large part by the U.S. The CIA and Pakistan’s ISI channeled weapons to Mujahideen mercenaries in the civil war in Yugoslavia. US Special Forces established a command, control, communications and intelligence network and coordinated and supported Bosnian Muslim offensives against Yugoslavia in concert with Mujahideen and Bosnian Croat forces, according to a report issued by the London-based International Media Corporation. A Republican Party Committee report confirmed “unequivocally the complicity of the Clinton Administration with several Islamic fundamentalist organizations including Osama bin Laden’s al Qaeda,” according to researcher Michel Chossudovsky.
CIA involvement in the Balkans was reported by The Guardian, The Observer, The European, The Independent, and other European newspapers but was scantily reported in the United States (see The CIA role in Bosnia, International Action Center Anti-Sanctions Project).
Nawaf al-Hazmi, also on American Airlines flight 77 according to the official mythology, went with his boyhood friend al-Mihdhar to fight in Bosnia. Both were CIA patsies.
There is a raft of evidence demonstrating that al-Qaeda was created by the CIA and not involved in the September 11, 2001, attacks. In fact, al-Qaeda is not the terrorist organization the government and corporate media would have us believe it is.
The late British Foreign Secretary Robin Cook told the House of Commons that al-Qaeda is not really a terrorist group but a database of international Mujaheddin and arms smugglers used by the CIA and Saudis to funnel guerrillas, arms, and money into Soviet-occupied Afghanistan. “The truth is, there is no Islamic army or terrorist group called Al Qaida,” said Cook. “And any informed intelligence officer knows this. But there is a propaganda campaign to make the public believe in the presence of an identified entity…The country behind this propaganda is the US.”
According to John Farmer, senior counsel to the 9/11 Commission and former New Jersey Attorney General, the official version of 9/11 is nothing short of a fairy tale. In his book, The Ground Truth: The Story Behind America’s Defense on 9/11, Farmer states that “the public had been seriously misled about what occurred during the morning of the attacks” and “at some level of the government, at some point in time… there was an agreement not to tell the truth about what happened.”
[efoods]The official government and corporate media story now emerging about the Hasan shooting spree at Fort Hood is a continuation of this propaganda.
On November 8, Senator Joseph Lieberman, chairman of the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, announced his committee will investigate the shooting and specifically look for links to “Islamic extremism.” Lieberman characterized the event as the worst act of terrorism in America since the attacks of September 11, 2001, according to the Washington Post.
“We’ve broken up plots to go after Fort Dix, Quantico Marine base in Virginia,” Lieberman told Fox News.
Lieberman didn’t bother to mention that the Fort Dix patsies were lackadaisical terrorists at best. During the trial, the defense introduced evidence of “dozens of conversations where Omar [an FBI informant] appeared to complain about the pace of the plotting, the lack of training or other concrete steps by the defendants.” In short, the FBI informant collecting a paycheck for organizing and setting up patsies to justify the US police state and the so-called “war on terror,” was frustrated at the patsies and their lack of interest in carrying out the attack.
The FBI is notorious for recruiting mental deficient patsies and embroiling them in phony terror plots. A primary example was the supposed terrorist plot to blow up synagogues in New York. “In this case, the alleged perps — Onta Williams, James Cromitie, David Williams, and Laguerre Payen — were losers, ex-cons, drug addicts. Al Qaeda they’re not. Without the assistance of the agent who entrapped them, they would never have dreamed of committing political violence, nor would they have had the slightest idea about where to acquire plastic explosives or a Stinger missile,” writes Robert Dreyfuss.
Now that Hasan has emerged from his coma, we shouldn’t expect the truth to come out. No doubt he will be assigned a phalanx of controllers and a specialized psychiatrist of the caliber of Dr. Louis Jolyon West, the MKULTRA doctor who kept Timothy McVeigh under control until his date in an execution chamber.
So far no evidence has surfaced connecting Hasan to al-Qaeda or any other CIA-created phony terrorist group. Hasan’s computer “has revealed no evidence of any connection to terror groups or conspirators, according to law enforcement officials,” CBS News reports. “Everything continues to indicate that Hassan acted alone,” a senior official told CBS. He said, however, that the investigation is “fluid and still in its early stages.”
There is still plenty of time for the government with the eager assistance of the corporate media to turn Hasan into an Islamic demon and convert him into yet another poster child for the manufactured global war on false flag terrorism.
