Flu Shots Put Children in the Hospital

At the 105th International Conference of the American Thoracic Society recently held in San Diego, researchers presented a study showing that the flu vaccine – widely touted as a “must have” for children with chronic illnesses – isn’t effective in preventing influenza-related hospitalizations in children, especially ones with asthma. But here’s the most damning evidence that flu shots aren’t the safe, helpful vaccine the Centers for Disease Control ( CDC) and other government agencies claim: the researchers also found that children who get the flu vaccine are more at risk for hospitalization than their peers who do not get the vaccine.

Scientist Avni Joshi, M.D., of the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, told the meeting, “The concerns that vaccination may be associated with asthma exacerbations have been disproved with multiple studies in the past, but the vaccine’s effectiveness has not been well-established. This study was aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of the TIV (trivalent inactivated flu vaccine in children overall, as well as the children with asthma, to prevent influenza-related hospitalization.”
Paradoxically, he then presented the results that appeared to show the vaccine did cause health problems serious enough to result in children being admitted to hospitals for care.
The children were harmed by influenza vaccines
To see if the vaccine actually reduced the number of hospitalizations for all children, especially those with asthma, over eight consecutive flu seasons, Dr. Joshi and his research team conducted a cohort study of 263 children. All the youngsters had been evaluated at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota between the ages of six months to 18 years and each had had laboratory-confirmed flu between 1996 to 2006. The scientists documented which of the children had been vaccinated against the flu, and those that had not received the flu jab. The kids’ asthma status was also noted along with records of and who did and did not require hospitalization.

So does this raise a red flag against vaccinating children, especially those who are asthmatic, against the flu? Incredibly, despite the findings of his own study, Dr. Joshi refused to find fault with the flu shot. “While these findings do raise questions about the efficacy of the vaccine, they do not in fact implicate it as a cause of hospitalizations,” Dr. Joshi said in a statement to the media. “More studies are needed to assess not only the immunogenicity, but also the efficacy of different influenza vaccines in asthmatic subjects.”
The CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) continue to recommend annual influenza vaccination for all children aged six months to 18 years. Moreover, the National Asthma Education and Prevention Program (3rd revision) pushes annual flu vaccination of asthmatic children older than six months. A large study reported in the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews of 260,000 children between 23 month and six discovered that the flu vaccine is no more effective that a placebo.

who in their right mind would let a stranger( doctor or not) inject potentially harmful substances into their child’s developing body. if parents would just make sure their kids are healthy and have healthy safe habits, there would be no need for all this.
my son and i are not vaccinated nor do we plan on recieving any vaccines and we are just fine and we will continue to be just fine; and just because you are vaccinated does not mean you are protected. the flu is spread easily and it can be a s---ty illness, but if you have a healthy immune system, you can fight it off. it will actually heighten your immuntiy against future illnesses.
typical american= instead of being healthy and changing our bad habits, we just pump ourselves with chemicals to counteract those habits.

I had my 1st flu shot last fall because the Dr has bugged me every yr and I am almost 70. I am more afraid of the shot than getting the flu.

The so called first death from swine flu without other factors in the UK, a young girl has been blamed on the fact that she didnt have tamiflu antivirals / so the message is clear give your kids the drugs or they will die!!! wind up the fear machine, never mind that the flu is MILD it has NOT mutated, the BBC reports today that over 20million Britons will have had the bug by December.
4 people die each year pulling on their pants, two kids have ‘fallen’ off cliffs in the last 2 weeks, 3 kids are killed on the roads each week but lets give the whole 65 million brits a jab to prevent the damn flu.
Im no expert but if you catch the flu and survive you have an immunity to it in the future, it wont kill you its just flu, who knows what happens if you take tammiflu then the vaccine, or maybe that should be the W.H.O knows.

They (US ARMY)dug up dead bodies in Alaska 10 some years ago…sailors who had died of this ‘flu back then; stuck in perma frost; they got the dna of the virus.
I believe it was in the news not 2-3 years ago…the reason for it was pure “prevention ”
though.

When MRSA and a flu bug start mixing, it won’t be pretty and we are being infected by the very health care system we depend on and trust to keep us safe and healthy.

When my son was born in 04.. I was in awe as every dad is, but as I watch the nurses start pumping him with shot after shot I started to think; what the hell are they giving him. I asked one nurse and all she said was that its standard shots for new borns, dismissing me as a pround nervous papa, as i pressed her on the matter she became more iritated with me. They when i started to get aggitated with her, my mother-in-law grabbed me by the ear and pulled me off to the side…rely think if i whould have interfered they would have escorted me out of the hospital in handcuffs.

My daughter is 10 months old and is not up to date on her immunizations. I recently started researching infant immunizations and I’m astounded and revolted at the information I’ve found. Turns out many vaccines are made with the tissues of animals and aborted fetuses. Others include carcinogens, mercury, and God knows what else. When I told my mother I wasn’t going to immunize my daughter and told her why she rolled her eyes and just said “I did it for you guys and yall were fine.”
But why would I take the chance? Most people don’t even think to research what these things are doing to our children. They take their kids to the doctor and have them pumped full of drugs and don’t even think twice about it. We need to be telling people about this, especially the ones with kids. What they don’t know is killing their children.

It is a well documented fact ( there is a wonderful timeline graph @ David Icke website ) that clean drinking water, and sanitary improvements ( indoor toilets, et all ) are responsible for most of the health improvements of the 20th Century – NOT immunization shots. In fact, as a victim of immunization side effects ( sterile, irregular thyroid & hormone levels ), I would say that the anticdotal evidence presented FOR immunizations is irrational, compaired to the argument against. Common sense ( does that apply anymore? ) and expirience has led me to this conclusion; please note it for you children, if you wan’t to be a grandparent one day.
