Food police will be patrolling kindergarten and childcare centres to eliminate unhealthy lunchbox food under strict new guidelines to be adopted by federal health officials.

Some Gold Coast centres already operate under their own strict lunchbox policies and will be largely unaffected by the new national guidelines, already sending unhealthy treats back home.
As part of the Federal Government’s $4.5 million war on obesity, the first uniform national rules of their kind would see childcare workers take on extra responsibilities as nutritional watchdogs.
Leaked draft guidelines suggest staff will be made to discuss the contents of lunch boxes with children at meal times and actively discourage unhealthy sweets and processed savoury snacks.

No fatty foods, but they force fluoride into the water… I don’t understand it. What’s next, bathroom police to help us all wipe ourselves? Can we do nothing? Are we all truly so incompetent? Here’s a suggestion, educate the populace better, raise the general IQ of the public and maybe people will make more wise decisions on a daily basis, perhaps parents will even be able to instruct their children on how to consume. When fulfilment of the basic necessities of life are being outsourced to the government, it’s a clear sign that we are useless in our own right.

Man this is funny. When I was in elementery school we had ice cream for $0.25 (it was an amazing deal and fairly big ice cream) on Friday tell I got to 2nd grade then these health nut politicians from the school district came in and got rid of it.
Then in middle school we had fastfood, ice cream, soda, and other stuff. Then the same old people came in and by the time I started 8th grade they got rid of all at again.
Then when I got to high school again we had the fastfood, doughnuts, soda, and some other stuff. Then by 10′th grade that is when Arnold Schwarzenegger became governor he passed bills to make all schools get rid of anything unhealthy and sodas stuff. At that point there was nothing to eat in my last few years of high school.
I also remember in Elementary school they had teachers taking away sodas during lunch for any student that tried to bring it from home. I would always sort of hide at the end of the table and drink it as fast as I could.
It doesn’t suprise me one bit that they are doing this.

In some schools here in Texas they suggest that parents pack healthy lunches. I always figured what ever I sent in a lunch from home wasn’t anybody’s business.
I just dare them to try to take my Grandkids food out of their lunchbox! A teacher tried that with one of my boys when they were younger. I went to school the next day…..never happened again.

Nyssa… the government has every right to dictate how their property is maintained by the caretakers (ie parents). When parents register their children at birth with the corporation (aka state), the ownership of the property according to commercial law (which is all we have now) goes to the state. Parents are duped into voluntarily turning over their children to the state. The same applies when you register your car… the state owns it and you are allowed to be the keeper.
People need to fully learn and understand how commercial law works and how they have been conned – we are caught up in a game we don’t understand. When you don’t understand the rules of the game – you can never win.

Something I forgot to mention. Even if you (speaking abstractly) know their system, know the laws and are an expert in arguing those laws, it does not guarantee you victory. The reason you can still lose, even though you are following the laws perfectly and are in the right, is because the people within that system are criminals.
How many judges have ruled against the law? How many cases have been lost even though the cases were argued correctly and the law proved no wrong doing? No matter how right you may be, no matter if the law clearly is on your side, you still can’t get past the criminals running and protecting the system!
Think about it, lower court judges have ruled against or opposite what the Supreme court has decided to be law. The Supreme Court, after the constitution, is the authority on what is or isn’t law in the United States. Once a verdict has been passed down, once something becomes precedence, once a serious case has been argued in the supreme court, it is usually a done deal. There shouldn’t be anymore argument or ambiguousness concerning what the Supreme Court has ruled on. Yet in real life that is what we see everyday. State judges, county judges, whatever, rule against Supreme Court decisions and the Constitution without any fear of reprisal.
That is how insane our country has become. Judges openly break the law and lay waste to the Constitution. They illegally and criminally send people to prison, they do whatever they want, regardless of what the “Law” says. We cannot defeat such arrogance and repugnance by fighting back using their system.

I do not understand how the legal system works in Australia, or if they have any Civil Rights at all, which I doubt. They might as well tell parents there that their Children belong to the State. This is what happens to a nation that surrenders its right to bear arms. One more comment about all this. Here in the USA, our food, all of it is full of all kinds of additives. You almost have to be a chemist to read the ingredient label of most packaged foods. About 12 years ago we had the wonderful experience of spending time in Ireland (pre-EU Ireland at that). We were in the western part of the country where most of the food is locally grown, fished, and or baked. After about a week my normally hyperactive son had become so much more calm and focused than ever before. I had no headaches, even with the stress of taking my turns driving on the “wrong” side of the road. We all lost weight even though we were eating lots. When we returned home, the hyperactivity increased, i had my occasional headaches again and pounds started adding up again. The difference….. no crap in the food. No chemists lists to be figured out. I have come to the conclusion that the largest cause of obesity, diabetes and hyperactivity in our population is the poison we are eating. Now the government schools have the audacity to blame us, and our kids for the poisoning being put on us. Case in point, probably common knowledge for many of us….. Neutrasweet. The FDA did not want to approve this toxin produced by Monsanto because of its toxicity to the nervous system. Their big bucks bought the approval of this poison. People have been sickened by this crap for years since, except for the few of us blessed enough to react to it right away, like me. Two sips of a diet anything and i develop a headache and jitters. Of course another amazing thing about this stuff is that it causes you to crave it if you don’t feel sick from it, and the zinger….. it causes you to crave carbohydrates! As far as i’m concerned, i don’t want our corrupt government or their schools deciding ANYTHING for my kids.

You use the word “Religion”. I am a believer but do NOT like the word religion. It is nothing but a herding word. As my above post states, going to church every sunday does NOT make you a christian any more than standing in a garage makes you a car. The most important commandment state by our Lord Jesus was, “Love one another”. Read the red letters and quit making us all look like fools please.

For those who are saying that irresponsible parents are the reason that these laws are coming into being you do have a valid point. In a society that has satelite T.V. stations that target infants and toddlers, and feed them NWO indoctrinating pablum, while proving to be commercially viable you know there is a problem and it is starting in the home and with the parents.
Start raising your own kids people!! Don’t let the state and their corporate proxies do it!!

While I agree that this is rather draconian, I love the fact that Coco-cola and many other wealthy junk-food peddlers will no longer enjoy their naive demographic being children in Australia.
Besides, all candy and chocolate tastes the same, and in an age where people are sicker by the pillpushers, lets get rolling on some initiative to get people fit.

What is not talked about in this article is the fact the body that is issuing the nutritional guide is the Royal Children’s Hospital which ironically has a McDonalds in the entrance of the hospital, I am not joking. Imagine the message it sends to little kids?

Not hard to understand is it, satanism is all about homosexuality. Bible says its unnatural and a sin. Any Christian will also believe the same, like the bible teaches its all about self control and not the satanic ‘do anything’ thought process. In terms of you saying Christians treat the bible as a restaurant menu, they aren’t true Christians. You can only be a true christian if you follow it.

Christians are the most heavily persecuted people, in the past and again now. We have the right for free speech, as do you. We can think what we want, as can you. Any true christian will accept Islam and other religions for what it is, a persons right to choose to worship in false gods and idols. If God is true, and Christianity is the true religion…Which I also believe it is. Anyone worshiping false gods via deception, I think will be judged appropriately. Its only the atheists and agnostics that should be fearful for the day they die, just incase

The Bible and everything in it is open to interpretation. That is how it was meant to be. You glean what YOU need from it to better your life. You know what is right for you but not for your neighbor. People need to pull the plank from their own eye prior to pulling the splinter from your neighbor’s. I do not go to church every sunday because I think organized religion is a scam. Why does God need my money? We help where we can and do what is necessary. Going to church every sunday does NOT make you a Christian any more than standing in a garage makes you a car.
