In an article posted on the Hindustan Times website, N. Chandra Mohan cites Mark Thirwell, Director of the International Economy Program at the Lowy Institute for International Policy in Sydney, Australia. “This is not the first time in modern economic history that the Malthusian spectre of global food shortages has stalked the world economy," writes Thirwell. “Surges in food prices in the 1970s and then again in the mid-1990s both prompted warnings that agricultural capacity was failing to keep pace with a growing world population. Each time the prices jumped, it proved to be temporary as supply responded.” Mr. Mohan believes, this time around, there will be no supply ready to respond. He links this dire situation to "policy neglect of agriculture" and "climate and environmental degradation."
In addition to "climate change," Mohan blames the failures of capitalism — described as "supply-side responses" to market forces — and the "absence of technological breakthroughs in terms of higher yields from new varieties of paddy, wheat and maize." In other words, the current food shortages around the world are the result of corporate ineptitude and due to the vagaries of weather, supposedly exacerbated by man-made "climate change."
Is it possible the current food crisis is part of an intentional plan, indeed Malthusian, as Thirwell writes? Is it possible supposedly man-made "climate change" and the "food crisis" are components of a sinister depopulation agenda designed to cull the herd down to a manageable level, as proclaimed on the mysterious Georgia Guidestones? ("Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.")
In order to understand how these twin menaces — increasingly hyped by the corporate media — may indeed be part of a depopulation agenda, we repost here an article by Joseph Brewda, originally published in the Executive Intelligence Review:
Kissinger’s 1974 Plan for Food Control Genocide
On Dec. 10, 1974, the U.S. National Security Council under Henry Kissinger completed a classified 200-page study, "National Security Study Memorandum 200: Implications of Worldwide Population Growth for U.S. Security and Overseas Interests." The study falsely claimed that population growth in the so-called Lesser Developed Countries (LDCs) was a grave threat to U.S. national security. Adopted as official policy in November 1975 by President Gerald Ford, NSSM 200 outlined a covert plan to reduce population growth in those countries through birth control, and also, implicitly, war and famine. Brent Scowcroft, who had by then replaced Kissinger as national security adviser (the same post Scowcroft was to hold in the Bush administration), was put in charge of implementing the plan. CIA Director George Bush was ordered to assist Scowcroft, as were the secretaries of state, treasury, defense, and agriculture.
The bogus arguments that Kissinger advanced were not original. One of his major sources was the Royal Commission on Population, which King George VI had created in 1944 "to consider what measures should be taken in the national interest to influence the future trend of population." The commission found that Britain was gravely threatened by population growth in its colonies, since "a populous country has decided advantages over a sparsely-populated one for industrial production." The combined effects of increasing population and industrialization in its colonies, it warned, "might be decisive in its effects on the prestige and influence of the West," especially effecting "military strength and security."
NSSM 200 similarly concluded that the United States was threatened by population growth in the former colonial sector. It paid special attention to 13 "key countries" in which the United States had a "special political and strategic interest": India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Turkey, Nigeria, Egypt, Ethiopia, Mexico, Brazil, and Colombia. It claimed that population growth in those states was especially worrisome, since it would quickly increase their relative political, economic, and military strength.
For example, Nigeria: "Already the most populous country on the continent, with an estimated 55 million people in 1970, Nigeria’s population by the end of this century is projected to number 135 million. This suggests a growing political and strategic role for Nigeria, at least in Africa." Or Brazil: "Brazil clearly dominated the continent demographically." The study warned of a "growing power status for Brazil in Latin America and on the world scene over the next 25 years."
Food as a weapon
There were several measures that Kissinger advocated to deal with this alleged threat, most prominently, birth control and related population-reduction programs. He also warned that "population growth rates are likely to increase appreciably before they begin to decline," even if such measures were adopted.
A second measure was curtailing food supplies to targetted states, in part to force compliance with birth control policies: "There is also some established precedent for taking account of family planning performance in appraisal of assistance requirements by AID [U.S. Agency for International Development] and consultative groups. Since population growth is a major determinant of increases in food demand, allocation of scarce PL 480 resources should take account of what steps a country is taking in population control as well as food production. In these sensitive relations, however, it is important in style as well as substance to avoid the appearance of coercion."
"Mandatory programs may be needed and we should be considering these possibilities now," the document continued, adding, "Would food be considered an instrument of national power? … Is the U.S. prepared to accept food rationing to help people who can’t/won’t control their population growth?"
Kissinger also predicted a return of famines that could make exclusive reliance on birth control programs unnecessary. "Rapid population growth and lagging food production in developing countries, together with the sharp deterioration in the global food situation in 1972 and 1973, have raised serious concerns about the ability of the world to feed itself adequately over the next quarter of century and beyond," he reported.
The cause of that coming food deficit was not natural, however, but was a result of western financial policy: "Capital investments for irrigation and infrastucture and the organization requirements for continuous improvements in agricultural yields may be beyond the financial and administrative capacity of many LDCs. For some of the areas under heaviest population pressure, there is little or no prospect for foreign exchange earnings to cover constantly increasingly imports of food."
"It is questionable," Kissinger gloated, "whether aid donor countries will be prepared to provide the sort of massive food aid called for by the import projections on a long-term continuing basis." Consequently, "large-scale famine of a kind not experienced for several decades—a kind the world thought had been permanently banished," was foreseeable—famine, which has indeed come to pass.
This globalist "return of famines" would not be possible without the participation of multinational corporations. The elite, writes Richard Freeman for the Intelligence Review, are in the process of applying "a tourniquet to food production and export supplies, not only to poor nations, but to advanced sector nations as well." Of course, this would not be possible without the cartelization of agricultural, now known as "agribusiness." Freeman elaborates:
The Windsors’ Global Food Cartel: Instrument for Starvation
Ten to twelve pivotal companies, assisted by another three dozen, run the world’s food supply. They are the key components of the Anglo-Dutch-Swiss food cartel, which is grouped around Britain’s House of Windsor. Led by the six leading grain companies—Cargill, Continental, Louis Dreyfus, Bunge and Born, André, and Archer Daniels Midland/Töpfer—the Windsor-led food and raw materials cartel has complete domination over world cereals and grains supplies, from wheat to corn and oats, from barley to sorghum and rye. But it also controls meat, dairy, edible oils and fats, fruits and vegetables, sugar, and all forms of spices.
Each year tens of millions die from the most elementary lack of their daily bread. This is the result of the work of the Windsor-led cartel. And, as the ongoing financial collapse wipes out bloated speculative financial paper, the oligarchy has moved into hoarding, increasing its food and raw materials holdings. It is prepared to apply a tourniquet to food production and export supplies, not only to poor nations, but to advanced sector nations as well.
The use of food as a weapon can be found at least four millennia ago in Babylon. Imperial Rome took this tack, as did Venice and various Venetian offshoots, including the Antwerp-centered, powerful Burgundian duchy, and the Dutch and British Levant companies, East India companies, and West India companies. Today, food warfare is firmly under the control of London, with the help of subordinate partners in especially Switzerland and Amsterdam. Today’s food companies were created by having had a section of this ancient set of Mesopotamian-Roman-Venetian-British food networks and infrastructure carved out for them.
![]() |
The Windsor-led oligarchy has built up a single, integrated raw materials cartel, with three divisions—energy, raw materials and minerals, and increasingly scarce food supplies. Figure 1 represents the situation. At the top is the House of Windsor and Club of the Isles. Right below are two of the principal appurtenances of the House of Windsor: the World Wide Fund for Nature, headed by the Doge of London, Prince Philip, which leads the world in orchestration of ethnic conflict and terrorism, such as the British-created afghansi movement; and British intelligence’s Hollinger Corp. of Conrad Black, which is leading the assault to destroy Bill Clinton and the American Presidency.
The firms within each cartel group are listed. While they maintain the legal fiction of being different corporate organizations, in reality this is one interlocking syndicate, with a common purpose and multiple overlapping boards of directors. The Windsor-centered oligarchy owns these cartels, and they are the instruments of power of the oligarchy, accumulated over centuries, for breaking nations’ sovereignty.

The powers-that-be will pay the price of their very own existence when the Messiah arrives to literally wipe out and replace the world’s governments. They and their military forces will be utterly destroyed. It is now a matter of time and circumstances before we see all of the ancient prophecies come into fulfillment.

“…agricultural capacity was failing to keep pace with a growing world population.”
Absolute nonsense! The food supply is being deliberately controlled, poisoned or destroyed to promote Third World famine. There is unlimited real agricultural capacity in the world. Arable land that used to support crops has been given over to other uses, including tract housing. Farmers have been bribed to not grow crops. But, worst of all is the development of more than half the world’s population being utterly dependent upon grain production for sustenance when the gluten in grains interferes with the absorption and metabolization of nutrients in the human body. The answer (albeit, thousands of years too late): man’s original diet, which consisted of meat, fruit and vegetables – no grains, no dairy. If farmers converted to cattle ranching, or planted fruits and vegetables instead of corn, wheat or rice, not only would there be abundant food for all of mankind, but the diseases of civilization (high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, etc) would cease to exist. They didn’t exist 500 generations ago, until agriculture – specifically the cultivation of grains and dairy products – created them.

No matter how evil man gets upon the earth they still are no match for Jesus. As bad a things are now upon the earth they only get worse. Jesus said there would be two types of people being those who heard his sayings & kept them & those who heard his sayings & did not keep them.
Jesus warned about False Teachers, & False Prophets who seem to mostly come from Organized Religion that use his name just to perpetrate their own evil worldly agendas upon the earth as man has done even before Jesus was born of human flesh. The Book of Revelation outlines many Beast Kingdoms/Nations & there is a high probability your Nation is at least a Beast Kingdom/Nation, or Mystery Babylon who perhaps builds the complete Globalist System of the Beast.
What is termed the False Apostacy will more than likely be loving this Beast or a Beast Kingdom, or Mystery Babylon thinking this Beast is doing God’s work when this Beast has been doing the Devil’s work that a part of the foundation came from the Freemasons & Deists that founded your Nation & stated they patterned your Nation after Rome.
You’ve read men like Kissinger state that military people are just dumb animals for them to use to perpetrate their NWO agenda upon any Nation of people’s upon the earth & from within also. This is what your Leaders really think of you.

Watchman I am selling “welcome jesus” shirts. On the back it says “what took you so God Damn long?” I give discounts to lazy minded christians who keep making idle threats to elites who must be balled up on the floor laughing a lung up that you think jesus is coming for them. Here is a clue… You were made in God’s image. Jesus lives on in all of us just like an idea is bullet proof. God fails when you sit on your ass thumping your bible. Jesus dies when you use him as a mystical guard dog when you should be letting his light come out through your works. Religions are group think-control centers. Shake off your conditioning. Think for yourself. Concentrate on what good you are spreading and reject the mystical, lazy, excuses for you to do nothing in fighting evil.

When I first heard this a week or two ago, my first thought was the Elitist are now going though with the next level of “Silent weapons for Quiet Wars” Controling the Food . There is an article I read several years ago like over 25, that spoke of using Food as a Weapon on the World for Control and Population Reduction. I know for a fact that the government has over the years paid Farmers to let fields lay fallow and has increase the program up to today. This Is A New World Order Agenda!. With the HAARP system fully on line you can expect more droughts as the system is either making this happen as a side effect or it is being done deliberate. Either way I feel we are in for a rough ride this year. Also the Solar Season returns and is suppose to be twice as bad as the last one. Keep all of this in mind and not Human Breathing Tax that the Elitist want to drive down our throats.
Here’s a Question: Why is all the Green Organizations have Corperate Ties?
April 21st, 2008 at 6:13 pm
All of a sudden, the MSM was unified in calling out food shortages. I wondered. Kinda like the push for higher oil prices. Seems someones are calling shots behind the curtain. Trust me, this doesn’t have anything to do with the mythical Jesus and everything to do with making money and putting extreme pressure on the people who “waste” the potential profits Monsanto and their ilk desire.
Most of America’s agriculture goes to feed the wasteful beef industry. If you want to fix this problem, stop buying beef and corn, and start relying on fresh localized vegetables. Every city has a farmers market; make use of it sometime, if you are concerned about the monopolization of corn and the waste created by factory farmed cows.

Kurt,
Thank you for your research and this article. This is the first time that someone has laid out the cartel structure of the international agribusiness. I would greatly appreciate a higher res copy of the imbedded chart (either replace the current chart with a link to a higher res chart or email one to me at Mark@MarkCentury.com).
I still need to get a better understanding of how this food cartel maintains a monopoly on supply. For example, do they undercut the pricing of local farmers, driving them out of business (perhaps loaning them money and then when they default taking the land)? Or do they pay local farmers not to produce as we do here in the USA? Can you recommend some source materials that can provide me an in depth understanding of this food cartel?
What are the strategies being employed?
1) Artificial scarcity, driving up prices, and then taking profits on hoarded supply?
2) Creating unrest in countries (food riots) providing an excuse for military intervention?
3) Shifting the world’s food supply towards GMO crops billed as the scientific solution but in fact leading to an even greater monopoly on food supply (GMO crops that don’t produce seeds)?
4) Population reduction – starving the “eaters”?
5) Elminating biofuels as competitors to oil monopolies?
6) All of the above?
Any further insights and sources greatly appreciated.

Your remains will be cremated in that building and the ashes from your body will be released into the breeze. Now, Mark create or join a militia and quit seeking more knowledge or contradiction to my explanation of what will soon befall you. Post your numbers willing to use force to destroy heads of corporations, politicians etc who have planned your demise. K?

This is another analogy with communism making my belief that these globalists are the new communists. I was baptized in Poltava, Ukraine. Poltava is a town that was hit very hard by the Great Famine of the 1930s. Ukraine has some of the most fertile soil in the world and that famine had to have been artificial. Indeed it was. It was Stalin’s tool to collectivize the Ukrainian farmers and to exterminate some of the most pious Orthodox Christians who refused to tow the godless communist line. Many starved to death. The Great Famine reduced the Ukrainian population to half. How did it work? All the wheat, fruits, vegetables one grew, the commisars would take. 90% went to the party, 10% to the people. Result: people did not have anything to eat and starved to death. Some survived on wild grasses. This is how the globalists will probably try to induce food shortages.
April 21st, 2008 at 6:45 pm
You know the 10:1 rule? For every 10 pounds of grain, we get one pound of meat. For every 10 pounds of meat we eat, we absorb pound of nutrition—so here’s the plan.
We switch to vegan foods and only eat animals that graze on unfarmable land. We take the s--- we excrete and send it to McDonald’s to make food out of it. The s--- can be recycled 10 times before we extract its nutritional value. We will multiply our food output by a factor of over 1000.
Just think of it, the Big Dump, the Quarter Loader, s--- McNuggets, & the exquisite Filet’O'Feces.
Bon Appetit!!!

The world is over populated and we do need to reduce the world population which is perfectly acceptable. I do support the idea of decreasing the world population between 500 to 800 million. And if that means introducing biological virus to eliminate majority of people who live in Eastern Europe, South America, Asia, Africa & Middle East except Israel.
Clever thing about the virus is people who live in Western World will receive antidote through water supply. So everyone who consumes liquids will survive.

I’m reminded of a university professor who stated that 90% of the world should be killed off. I know this is a bit of a sedgeway, but after reading 19’s statement, it got me thinking.
The forces that be are hitting the world from multiple angles: food shortages, sterilizations, birth control, war, all designed to reduce human population.
Back to the professor and Ms. 19 (who may or may not have thought out the reduction idea clearly, nothing personal). When the prof. suggested his idea to his students, all of them cheered. Now, I’ll assume there were 100 students in the assembly. What if the doors were sealed shut and mustard gas pumped into the room? What if there were only ten gasmasks?
You may think population reduction of 90% is admirable, but ask yourself this. Regardless of the way it’s done, what makes you think that you will be in the lucky 10%? I’m not a gambling man by nature, but I would bet the farm (and the bio-diesel corn) that you would see a lot of people saying, “Y’know, this may need to be rethought out.”
It’s the same with the food shortages as well. Haiti, Peru, Mexico and more have had food riots and some of us sit back and think, “It could never happen here.” And it may not. But ask yourself this: are you sure?

Pinto beans – 100 lbs. – 25lb bags
Rice – 100 lbs. – 25lb bags
Flour – 50 lbs.
Salt – 50 lbs.
Canned meat, fruit and vegetables – 2 cases of each (#10 cans).

Of course I don’t really want you to die, but I do want to you to see that absolute evil of your thinking. Perhaps if you experienced starvation yourself for a while, or worse if you were forced to watch your children dying in front of you because you could not even feed them a bowl of rice.
Think more expansively Anna … the most precious resource on earth is life, human life. Large portions of our planet are now suffering from LOW birth rates. Most of our planet has not been inhabited at all (deserts, oceans). We have the capacity to feed and support a population many, many times the current levels. In the not so distant future space travel to other planets will be possible.
The solution is not to reduce population but rather to enhance the lives of those that are here.

The enemies of this nation want to discredit this website. One tactic that can be used is for detractors to write loopy incendiary “come-ons” like #33 hoping that they will elicite violent and equally loopy responses. Sadly, the time for armed revolution may indeed come, but until it does our cause is best served by ignoring kooky blatherings like #33.

Good advice Mark Century. If anyone out there thinks that the Pentagon and COINTELPRO aren’t monitoring and incitng angst amongst the Patriot movement on these forums is foolish. It is quite easy to discern the true Americans and the traitors, with a few exceptions of truly ignorant jackasses out there.
On an another note, I posted the exact same article verbatim concerning Kissinger’s NSSM 200 agenda three times within these forums today. Who said we can’t make a difference? Knowledge is key to overcoming the yoke of tyranny.
If you are a Patriot, spread real information so that everyone may benefit and learn how to survive, and defeat, this enemy we face. Otherwise, go back to your video games and let the real patriots take the reins to lead our people to freedom.

THIS PLANET HAS THE AGRICULTURAL CAPACITY TO FEED MORE THAN DOUBLE THE CURRENT GLOBAL POPULATION !!!! This “food crisis” is a scientifically engineered hoax by the NWO. Agriculture has been sabotaged across the planet on purpose utilising a wide variety of methods. Zimbabwe use to be the bread basket of Africa but it was purposely made to collapse. Romania use to be able to provide half of Europe with grains, fruits and vegetables but it’s agricultural system was dismantled on purpose by dividing up large efficient farms into small plots of under 1000 metres in a so called agricultural reform plan. Romania use to produce inexpensive tractors but the tractor factory was purposely closed and now you can see horse drawn ploughs again and people having to weed corn fields by hand. Argentina which by itself could practically supply the entire north and south American continents with grain is currently under attack by NWO engineered crisis by paralyzing “farmer strikes” where distribution is being blocked, trucks sabotaged and harvesting halted. Dr. Pianka of UT must be having an orgasm from the intense pleasure of seing his diabolic plans finally being implemented. Lets start organising the Crimes Against Humanity Tribunals where demons like Mr. Pianka and his coven of demented humanity haters will be put on trial for genocide. Hey !!! Anybody in Georgia up to going to those stupid “guide stones” and destroying them?? If brave freedom-loving people can tear down the Berlin wall by hand, we can surely take care of the evil Georgia “guide stones”. Go at it !!!!

I’m sure Monsanto has some asexual GMO monster version of most every seed…..that doesn’t need cross fertilization, lying in wait, to be sold off to the corporate farms….if (and hopefully not, when) the bees die off.
If they do…you can trust that the remaining slaves will still be on their knees, literally…. cross-pollenating the food plants by hand. It sounds crazy…but if they can pick ‘em by hand they can cross fertilize ‘em by hand….

they make me sick, they need to be wipped off the face of the earth once and for all, then humanity can move forward on an equal footing where everything is distributed fairly and evenly, not based on whos family you come from, or if you were privaliged enough to go to harvard,
this will never end until we round them all up from out of their multi million dollar hideouts and either imprison them or execute them!,
there is no shortage of food!, just hiking of intrest rates and rates of exchange in order to bring about the plan they have,
they need to be wipped out now,
or to use one of their favourite thrases, ” we need to pre empt them” before they pr empt us!

Lyndon LaRouche has been talking about the Anglo-Dutch oligarchs for years – them being the malthusian-eco-fascist-imperialist-free-trade internationalists etc. – but for some reason there’s never anything about LaRouche and his theories on Alex Jones websites. Is there a good reason for that?

Reporting From Japan, It is my quess that the Globalist have totally robbed Japan
and stripped it out also. Pension funds were privatized and now the old people are paying for it
through reduced medical care. All blamed on Sub-prime of course.
It my be possible that the Globalist passed off phony derivatives to the Banks in
Japan and BOJ in the trillions and now Japan must follow everything the Globalist say just
to survive. Last year the Globalist asked Japan to cut production on Rice knowing that a
food Shortage would soon come. The oil price rise effects mostly the Asian country by wiping
out all money that is made through production. The take over of America and Japan, was
critical to the NWO order as Japan was a wealthy country, but I believe that all there money
has been really stolen, even there gold!
The biggest debtor nations were America and Britian even though Britian owns the world figure that out. Because they were sucking the wealth of China and Japan, with the intention
of never paying. Japan is in a very difficult situation, if they make the wrong move they will go
down with Americans on purpose. All caused by the same group that has no friends only enemies
unless you are them. “Either you are with them or against them” as Bush says. He did not mean
Americans.

Understand what you are saying but your conclusions are incorrect. My thinking is not evil it just part of evolution. Western world will just have to kill of majority of the world population so minority will survive. You are correct we are able to feed whole world many times over but it drains other previous resources which are not sustainable. Even if 500 to 800 million survive another 50 to 80 million about 10% will need to be sterilize to prevent undesirable from breeding.

It’s all being orchestrated, for production too distribution is an automatic cycle. If the products are being diverted, this can only be by government control, consumption isn’t causing it.

Yes there is a reason Alex doesn’t mention him, because Lyndon LaRouche is a Franklin D.Roosevelt socialist or possibly a communist and appears to be leading a Communist Chinese front group. His New Federalist Paper is nothing but praise for Communist China. His definition of “physical economy” is correct, however he seems to feel that the state is the solution and rather than the problem. Some protectionism is a good thing and strategic industries and the industrial infrastructure should be protected with state incentives while remaining in private hands. LaRouche seems to favor nationalising industry and I think the Soviet Union clearly proved that it doesn’t work. LaRouche seems to almost worship FDR who was nothing but a Communist puppet who cooperated with criminals such as Stalin and Churchill and gave half of Europe to Stalinist Communist domination. FDR new in advance that the Japanese would attack and did nothing to stop it. Actually he did everything possible to provoke Japan into war.

April 22nd, 2008 at 5:28 am
Don’t you miss the days when it was only oil that was expensive? We can go into any shop and get a bag of rice for 90 cents, but so many people have to spend half their wages on that. Do you see that it’s a rigged game now? Why is a bag of rice so cheap for us, yet costs half of someone’s wages in the third world? Cause their lives are on the chopping blocks by the globalists.

Hell the thinnies can quit blaming us for burning all those calories making all those babies, you can take the time to pump out five hundred kids you can plant a community garden and raise some pigs and goats. I don’t feel sorry for anybody who lives in squalor and poverty, then pumps out a huge family. Then they depend on U.N. food convoys to make it through a dry season. Sorry that’s called unsustainable living. I haven’t had steady work for a year and half and I’ve never missed a meal. The survival of the fittest. If the globalists don’t do it, mother nature will do it for them, after the thinnies crash the whole ecosystem. That’s a fact.

Aaron Williams what a sick man you are, typical blinded by your own calousness. I bet you have never seen people live in shacks and poverty, its not like in america you know, most of the people are poor through no fault of their own, and to have kids is a right, its an instinct, its basic nature, everyone needs a family and to say, well if you produce lots of kids then its your fault they starve, rubbish. People are affecting by bigger things in society than their own individual decisions and efforts. If a guy is produciing lots of kids in the good times where their is plenty of food and shelter then, he hits hard times, do you say its his fault because the country where he lives is hit by famine, the turning of the market of grain to fuel production instead of food. Now you might say well, he lives in a shack so that means he is at fault, nope, that is by your standards, people have a roof over their heads in poor countries think they have it good regardless of what construction it is made off. I might remind you americans had large family not so long ago, the more they had the more that worked the land more money etc, after all it keeps the cost of hiring down, pretty smart i reckon.
So when you loose your home or some one tell you to starve because you produce lots of kids. I might just look away, and say you fault. I think not.
Get some compassion man and think out side the box and look at how big events affects us all.

Large families in underdeveloped countries have less to do with rampant promsicuity and more to do with basic attrition. Parents know that thanks to lousy sanitation, a contaminated enviroment, and ‘healthcare’ which is just as likely to kill as cure, they’ll be lucky to see a third of their offspring reach maturity. To compound this, the leading cause of death for women in most LDC’s is childlbirth. So it’s a vicious cycle of birth, disease and premature death for the world’s poor while the rich elites cluck their tongues at the “unwashed masses”. It is widely documented that improvements in sanitation, prenatal health and diet in these countries all lead to smaller families rather than larger ones.

I think it’s highly suspect that we seem so suddenly to have a crisis. A world wide food shortage is not something that just happens over night. What ever happened to those programs where people used to help folks in other countries learn food growing skills, distribute seeds and tools? Have any of these people ever heard of wild or native edibles? This whole thing is a setup as far as I can see, due specifically to globalization and TEACHING or forcing people to be dependent on others to eat.

Kevin (post#57) – a few quick questions:
1. What should the world do about China – and what is it exactly that LaRouche is doing wrong?
2. What should FDR have done with the Soviets after WWII – start WWIII?
3. On Pearl Harbor – isn’t it possible that FDR was being used, mislead or whatever by the British – just like most US-presidents & politicians have been? Orchestrating something like that in those days would have been a lot easier than today – yet even today these people seem to be getting away with anything.
4. On state vs…(?) whatever – could it be that we need the state – and simply for the fact that the world is quite a lot more complicated than 60+ years ago? I mean the world according to Ron Paul sounds wonderful, but it seems just as unrealistic as the other utopia at the other end of the political spectrum. So, maybe it’s just a matter of balance?
5. Since most of the world’s industry today is INTERnationalized and cartellized by the Anglo-Dutch elite – and if nationalizing is too socialistic for you – well, what is your solution to the problem created by these “free-trade liberals” – more economic freedom?
April 22nd, 2008 at 8:43 am

It’s both. There are definately food shortages, but the globalists are taking advantage of it in an effort to dehumanize us and depopulate humans in the long term. They think we are inferior, but they are humans, they are inferior ones, and the worst kind. They should all be dead and rotting in hell. period.
April 22nd, 2008 at 9:26 am
What these so called elite don’t understand is that if civil war breaks out because of food shortages, THEY themselves will be the first casualties of that war…. All their peoples will be looking for their heads on a stick… Its like they are playing Russian roulette only the gun will fire on them first wherever they are, whoever they are!!
Take Britain for example if civil war broke out because fo food shortages, the Elite would have 60 million people looking for their blood, they would have no chance against that amount of people, 60 million people would overpower them and their Government no problem, thats even with their military behind them… Even they must know the risks they face in this.
April 22nd, 2008 at 9:29 am
Aldo, good subject matter you posted. Only one thought – what if the public becomes sympathetic with the shortages because they are first being brought to their attention in OTHER COUNTRIES and they believe it is GLOBAL shortages. In that case, slowly but surely the people start to get weaker from diminished diets and become TOO WEAK TO FIGHT BACK.

In message #11, I raised a number of questions and offered several theories on the origins and objectives of the current food crisis.
This video, The World According To Monsanto” was brought to my attention in message #46
http://video.google.com/videop.....jAKQ_8WxBA
I repeat the link here because I think everyone needs to see this.
If indeed The House of Windsor is part of a NWO global oligarchy seeking global domination … a more effective strategy could not be found than global control of food.
This is a brilliantly evil strategy … infect the entire world with transgenic food crops that they control. It isn’t just a matter of patents … their transgenic crops will only grow when coupled with their fertilizers. Small farmers world wide are being forced out of business because they must pay 4x the price for seeds and cannot compete with subsidized harvests from multinational food factories. If they can engineer a world food crisis and then offer the solution of GMO seeds their take over of the human food supply could be comlpete.
The key to resisting the NWO is empowering the individual. The ability to grow food is the most fundamental power. Unless we can grow our own food we are, by definition, dependent on others — governments, corporate agribusiness for our very lives.
70% of the food in our grocery stores is contaminated with GMO and the trend is towards 100%. If indeed there are people that want to sterilize or cull human population, what better way to do this than by implanting genetic time bombs in GMO seeds?
Eat organic. Start growing your own food experimenting with container gardening and hydroponics.
Get off the food grid.

Message to agents who have the sense to realize Alex is telling the truth. Nobody can convince me that what Alex is saying regarding the take over of our government is fake, because I’ve seen many documents talking about proposing this agenda. I also know 2+2 =4 not 5. Do you believe propaganda will defeat the movement? I talk subtly to many about issues that are facing this country and most have at least some information about what is happening. If the plan is to take out the people spreading the truth… People are going to figure out the government is hiding something. Do you really believe that people are going to turn against their relatives that have been reputable citizens all their lives? Fear will be struck in the hearts of many and that is when the patriots of our species will come out of the woodwork. There are intelligent people orchestrating things, but with the amount of disinformation coming out people are going to figure it out. They are probably going to do something drastic to win over minds and that is when almost everyone will realize what is really going on. People have not forgotten this is supposed to be a free country. Incrementalism has worked to alter this government and their policies, but there is no time for that sh*t anymore. The economy and U.N. taxation are going to waken many and that will lead to concern. F*ck the elites who plan to destroy all that is good, to satisfy their control agenda. You may not believe in god, but you need to start believing in the power of good. The machine will not work if the parts stop working. We know you agents can’t just quit your jobs now, but there is a place in our hearts for you guys too. (when the big decision has to be made)

This article begins by citing a current article (April 6 2008 Mohan, Hindustan Times) which speaks to the very real and very current crisis that is threatening the stability of at least 30 countries, sparking food riots and even resulting in food rationing here in the USA.
The article then attempts to show that this “crisis” has been in the making for a long time and may in fact be entirely by design. It cites Kissinger in 1974, and references a La Rouche article written in 1995.
These earlier references in no way diminish the current urgency and underscore that what we are experiencing is the result of a calculated, deliberate plan executed over decades on behalf of a handful of multinational agribusiness giants to control the world’s food supply and population.

Anna, that plan can only work in America. In Europe, as soon as you are out of the city limits, you’re immediately in agriculture fields. Distribution is not that big of a problem in Europe because most farms are still small family owned operations and many farmers sell their products directly to the consumers. In Italy for example, government actually encourages small organic farms with incentives and most people buy their fruits and vegetables at farmer’s markets which are in almost every neighborhood. It is uniquely an American phenomenon that all urban and suburban centres are far from agricultural producing areas. This was done on purpose so that oil companies could make money by selling fuel for lorries to the distribution companies. I was very surprised while driving through the San Joaquin valley in California. It was miles and miles and hours and hours of endless fields and not a single farm house anywhere in site from horizon to horizon. It was completely devoid of human life !!! In America, they’ve seperated the people from agriculture making them completely dependent on large scale supermarket corporations and distribution system by trucks. Any incease in the price of fuel, and you have food that is too expensive for the average person and then eventually, the trucks stop coming. A perfect set up which I’m sure was planed long ago.

Kevin, I’m from Europe myself and I don’t think people here have it any better if/when the food shortage hits us. In many ways the EU has quickly turned into another US as the economic growth here is based more and more on consuming imported products and accumulation of debth as well.
No, it’s perhaps not as bad as it is in the US – yet – but we’re getting there. Here’s an article you might want to read – and despite the fact that it’s from the LaRouche website:
EU and Japanese Farm Leaders Warn Against WTO Deal
April 21, 2008 (LPAC)–At a joint press conference in Brussels, a few days ago, European and Japanese farm leaders called attention to the risk for consumers if the current trade deal being negotiated in WTO goes ahead.
“We do not believe that consumers are aware of what’s going on in WTO,” said Jean-Michel Lemetayer, the President of COPA (Council of Agricultural Producers). “Recent developments on world markets for agricultural commodities are causing real concern about food security and stability. This is shown by the British Prime Minister’s recent initiative to urge the G8 to do something about these issues.
“Yet at the same time in WTO we are moving towards a trade deal which will cause serious cuts in EU agricultural production. The EU is already the world’s largest importer of its food needs. But we will become even more dependent on imports for a series of essential food such as beef, poultry, pork, butter, sugar, fruit and vegetables and eggs. For beef alone EU production would fall by as much as 800,000 tons — equivalent to total beef production in a country such as the UK.
“We are also seeing much more volatility in prices of agricultural foods on world markets and climate change will reinforce this trend. But a WTO deal will simply increase our exposure to this price volatility.
COGECA Vice-President Bruni added, “Production in the poorer developing countries will also be put at risk by this trade deal. They will face increasing competition from large-scale farming and multinational traders in countries such as Brazil and the USA. How will smaller farmers in these countries be able to compete?
The leaders of the Japanese and EU farm organizations signed a joint declaration calling the attention of citizens to these concerns. “We must stop these negotiations going any further,” concluded Jean-Michel Lemetayer.
April 23rd, 2008 at 1:42 am
I have seen agricultural systems in Italy, Croatia, Hungary, Slovenia, Romania and Bulgaria and non of these countries have the problems that the United States has with distribution and marketing of fruits and vegetables. I can not see anyway that there can be food shortages in these places do to the fact that the people in urban areas are very close to agricultural lands and have direct contact with the producers, many of whom bring their products to the cities even with horse drawn wagons in some places !! I can see where prices may go up but a total collapse that is inevitable in the United States is just not possible in Europe. Europe is far better off than the United States simply because the way cities and urban centres are interspersed within agricultural sectors and the supply lines to the cities are very small distances so an increase in oil prices should only mean a small rise in prices and Europe has an alternative distribution system which is electric railway that is relatively uneffected by the price of oil. It’s not like the US where a head of lettuce you buy in New York was trucked thousands of miles from Florida or some tasteless rock hard tomatoes you buy in Milwaukee were trucked 3000 miles from California!! Its a very vulnerable system. I’ve even seen oranges at a Florida Walmart that were imported from South Africa for 79 cents each !!!!!!!!!!! In the biggest citrus producing state in America, oranges from South Africa !!!!!!!! How is such a thing possible? I asked the general manager of the store and he was unable to give any type of explanaition when right outside of the store, every house has an orange tree in its back yard !! Something is very wrong with the American system.
April 23rd, 2008 at 2:10 am
Also, the article you posted talks about food imports in Europe. You must understand that for example, if a kilo of beef you purchase in Italy is imported from France, it’s still considered an import eventhough its within the EU. Imports rarely means imports from outside the EU. I have never seen imports in Europe with the exception of specialty and exotic items like banans, mangos and occasionaly beef from Argentina. Beef from Argentina is due to special relationship that Italy and Spain have with Argentina and not because Europe can’t supply its own beef. WTO trade deals does NOT stop Romanian small family farms from bringing their products to the city’s farmer’s markets. It will not stop shepherds from producing dairy products and bringing them to market. These deals only affect the huge multi national agro business which may cause a land sell off of which smaller farm operations could take over and return some areas of Europe to a more local production system. An increase in the product’s price logically will increase production with smaller farmers wanting to cash in on the price hikes. No matter how you put it, it doesn’t lead to food shortages but actually to food production increase (Europe). In the US its a different situation because 4000 kilometer distribution by diesel lory is going to cause a collapse in the system because of fuel costs and the rail system in the US is no longer an option because the oil companies made sure that system was abbandoned and neglected. America already has nuclear power plants and so they could convert their railway lines to electric and abbandon diesel, but all that takes money and they’re to busy borrowing money for wars.
April 23rd, 2008 at 3:19 am
Kevin, something is very wrong with the system on the global level, not just in the US. The chart used in the article tells us all what the problem is – or at least it shows a major part of it. What’s missing there is the fact that they also control the money supply on both sides of the Atlantic through the central banks – which again makes their plan pretty much perfect.
Now, most of the agriculture in the world- especially in the EU & US – is based on fossil fuels. In other words – if/when there’s a shortage on oil first it means that all the farming machinery running on diesel will stop + prices for fertilizers, pesticides etc. will skyrocket too since they’re fossil fuel based as well.
The result from oil shortage – real or artificial – is food shortage and it really won’t help much to have an otherwise good distrubution system when there just ain’t food to be distributed.
Most people in the EU live in the cities – just like in the US – and they don’t know s--- about farming. Also most farmers in the EU aren’t able to produce anything without fossil fueled machines – in fact – they’re practically as urbanized as their cousins living in the cities.
Now, with depression and hyper-inflation – naturally by design – just around the corner – imagine 500 million people in the EU suddenly bying directly from the producers “nearby” – with what?
April 23rd, 2008 at 3:32 am
Well, based on my personal observations, I just don’t see this dependence on oil that you speak of. My observations are from the perspective of Eastern Europe. Higher prices for food will mean increased production. Romania’s agricultural system (Europe’s second largest grain producer) is almost entirely organic. The wheat fields filled with poppies and other flowers proves that it is a pesticide free and weed killer free field. Believe it or not, most corn in Romania is harvested by hand and halled to graineries by horse drawn wagons. With all the primitiveness of the system, Romania still manages to be Europe’s second biggest grain producer!! Maybe Eastern Europe will fare much better than Western Europe. How do you compare a 50 kilometre haul from a field outside of Rome to the city centre to a 3000 kilometre lory drive from California to Chicago???? What about Europe’s railway system which is mostly electric??? You still have not demostrated what exactly will stop farmers from growing their products?? Why would they stop growing when prices are high?? Simple supply and demand will take care of the situation.

John Mitchel, writing on the Coercion Bill
” This is the only kind of legislation for Ireland that is sure to meet with no obstruction in that House.
However they may differ about feeding the Irish people, they agree most cordially in the policy of taxing,
prosecuting and ruining them.”
“The Irish People are expecting famine day by day… and they ascribe it unanimously, not so much to the rule of heaven as to the greedy and cruel policy of England. Be that right or wrong, that is their feeling. They believe that the season as they roll are but ministers of England’s rapacity; that their starving children cannot sit down to their scanty meal but they see the harpy claw of England in their dish. They behold their own wretched food melting in rottenness off the face of the earth, and they see heavy-laden ships, freighted with the yellow corn their own hands have sown and reaped, spreading all sail for England; they see it and with every grain of that corn goes a heavy curse. Again the people believe no matter whether truly or falsely that if they should escape the hunger and the fever their lives are not safe from judges and juries.”
Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, Lord Clarendon,
“I do not think there is another legislature in Europe that would disregard such suffering as now exists in the west of Ireland, or coldly persist in a policy of extermination”
Nassau Senior
.” Nassau Senior, an economics professor at Oxford University, wrote that the Famine “would not kill more than one million people, and that would scarcely be enough to do any good.”
Denis Shine Lawlor suggested that Russell was a student of the Elizabethan poet Edmund Spenser, who had calculated “how far English colonization and English policy might be most effectively carried out by Irish starvation
Charles Trevelyan, the civil servant with most direct responsibility for the government’s handling of the famine, described it in 1848 as “a direct stroke of an all-wise and all-merciful Providence”, which laid bare “the deep and inveterate root of social evil”; the Famine, he affirmed, was “the sharp but effectual remedy by which the cure is likely to be effected. God grant that the generation to which this opportunity has been offered may rightly perform its part…”
George Bernard Shaw’s play Man and Superman:
MALONE.My father died of starvation in Ireland in the black 47, Maybe you’ve heard of it.
VIOLET. The Famine?
MALONE. [with smouldering passion] No, the starvation. When a country is full of food, and exporting it, there can be no famine.

Kevin, most Eastern European countries today – including Romania – are members of the EU – and believe me – the goal of the Union is to reduce the production of food – not to increase it.
The first “natural” step in the process is to reduce the number of producers and to internationalize/cartellize the whole “national” system. Once becoming a member of the Union, the EU-regulations put small producers out of business – the big ones become bigger and fewer + they get loads of money from the EU to modernize their production which again means a completely fossil fuel based, semi-automated agriculture with minimized labor costs.
It happened to the Scandinavian countries, it’s happening to Poland and Estonia and it’s happening to the other countries as well. Previously every country was able to produce whatever they needed or wanted – and as much as they were able to – now each country is allowed to produce what the EU-Commission allows them to – and it’s all in the name of “free-market” economy.
The next step is to fine producers for producing “too much” as they all have strict production quotas defined by the Commission – and to even pay the producers not to produce anything at all and which is very common in the EU today – but not only in the EU it seems. Here’s a recent example from Canada (again from LaRouchePAC.com):

Canada Pays Farmers to Kill Pig Breeding Herds
April 21, 2008 (LPAC)–On April 14, amidst reports of the dire world food shortage situation, the government of Canada began its new “Cull Breeding Swine Program,” claiming that farmers are facing low prices for their hogs, because there are too many being produced. The Swine Cull will pay farmers C$225 per head to kill off their breeding stock, and commit to an “empty barn” for three years. In terms of “markets”-logic, the C$50 million program is aiming to shrink the Canadian adult breeding sow numbers by 10%, which then is supposed to drive up the price of pork. This kind of WTO-think is a ruse, covering for the breakdown in the food chain.
The reality is that (family-scale) farmers in both the U.S. and Canada are losing US$50 a head because of underpayment by the cartel processors, relative to the high feed costs–mostly corn, fuel and other costs to produce the livestock. Meantime, the factory-farms run by the transnationals, such as Smithfield–producing over 20% of all U.S. hogs–continue.
There are reports that desperate farmers in Manitoba are gassing piglets to death, because they can’t afford to feed and sell them. “It really goes against everything that a producer stands for,” said Karl Kynock, Chairman of the Manitoba Pork Council. “His mind-set for his whole life has been to raise food to supply people around the world…and to care for animals in the best way possible.”
This kind of destruction of food capacity was introduced as a standard part of the 1980s/90s recommended farm policies in the USA, Canada, the EU and elsewhere, under the excuse of ‘bringing markets into balance’ and also for not ‘overusing resources.’ The EU implemented quotas for milk and other goods, taxing farmers if they “overproduced.” The U.S. implemented a sweeping dairy herd “buy-out,” to drive out family-size dairy operations.

And on the “50 kilometre haul from a field outside of Rome to the city centre to a 3000 kilometre lory drive from California to Chicago” comparison – well, most of the vegetables consumed – for example – in Helsinki, Finland come from Spain and Italy. And guess what – it’s all transported by planes – not by trucks nor trains.

Henry Kissinger was on “Uncommon Knowledge” just yesterday discussing Europe, including the population issues faced by the continent.

One easy route might be to have an iran/israel war, and stop oil flow. Super high gas prices, when available, will take down delivery, and make farm grower costs hit the roof. OK, small farmers will produce, for some locals, and the elites will have stored food for those they plan to provide for.
I would say the main issue, is to review your own life situation, and see who would look out for you.
I suggest, that one group that will protect thier own, includes the catholic church. You could make yourself known to the local bishop, and join a group that directly involves you in the church.
Is survival your goal or not?

In addition, testing on one type of gm potatoe that was evolved, showed that it shrunk the internal organs of the test animals. While it was rejected as a usable food product, at one time in the future, it could be the choice of monsanto one year and they could have it shipped to all the fast food restauants as the french fries. Mostly the poor eat the macdonald and other fast food companies fries. They could say it was bird flu symptoms, and no suspicion would be on the potatoes. If you control all the test facilities, at that time, you control the -helpful science. The bible, whoever wrote it, says 200 million are saved. Those following the -script- may have that figure roughly in mind. The former husband of jane fonda, whatever his name is, oh yeah, ted turner, said 250 million would be the goal we should shoot for.
I fully believe thier efforts will happen. Take steps to safety. Move next to a jesuit facility. Know them, be close.

”Global Reasearch”.org has several great articles concerning this issue. The bottom line is this, more than enough food” can be ” produced to feed the entire world several times over. However, thanks to speculation,so called free trade agreements, greedy globalists, greedy globalists and greedy globalists, food prices have been driven upwards to the point where already impoverished populations can no longer afford to eat. I also insist that I have to share some of the blame for this altrocity. Why,? Because of the fact that I have done little or nothing to encourage the development of an economic system based upon the fullfilment of human need,as opposed to the system now in place which is based upon nothing but private monetary profit for the ownership or producer class.
The truth is this,we should be growing food for the sake of feeding people, not for the sake of profit. In fact, nearly every thing we do in this modern world,is done primarly for the sake of increasing the sizes of our bank accounts ,not for the sake of preserving and enhancing life for all living creatures. When will we learn that life is its own profit ? When will we stop making things so hard on our selves by denying that life and the resources needed to sustain life are gifts given freely to us,either by deity or nature alone ? It is the denial of this truth that has led the masses to accept the implimentation of an economic system that thrives on the myth of natural scarcity, forced compitition, endless cancerous growth, enviromental destruction, social aparthied, waste and greed. The truth of the matter is that natural scarcity is not at all natural but only the result of waste and the out-right indefensible hoarding by the wealthy of natural resources produced not by man but by nature.
We are forever reminded by the powers that be that we have no choice but to continue doing things basicaly the same way, because after all our system may not be perfect, but it is the best that we can do given the fact of natural scarcity and human nature.Never mind the fact that human nature is as varied as the weather, and never mind also that less than twenty percent of the earths population ”ownes”over 80 percent of the avaliable wealth ! We are also forever warned about the evils of reconizing nature as our collective or common provider, lest those unwilling or unable to work as hard as we benifit from that collective sharing of the common wealth. We need to take some time and notice the fact that we all share the same energy and life giving sun,we all share the same atmosphere, the same gravitational and magnetic systems that make life possible and most importantly, none of us earnend or worked for any of the common energy and life systems which together are responcible for our existance. In effect we are all free loaders ! That is a fact of our being that we should take pride in,and fashion our socioeconomic systems upon. In closing,it is only through the collective sharing of the natural commons that humanity will ever achieve true freedom, prosperity and peace.
