Former President Jimmy Carter Supports Call For New 9/11 Investigation

Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter has become the latest, and perhaps most prominent, public figure to express support for a new investigation into the 9/11 attacks.
We Are Change Ohio attended a book signing by the former President in Chicago. Despite the best efforts of secret service personnel to abduct the person recording the conversation, the audio of Carter’s words were still captured.
Carter was asked, “I was just wondering if you’d support the victims’ family members that want a new investigation into 9/11.”
Carter clarifies the question before responding, “Yeah, I don’t have anything to do with it but I certainly would….it would be nice.

In October 2004, Carter told the London Guardian newspaper that President Bush exploited the 9/11 attacks and that the press had not held him to account.
“The basic reason is that our country suffered, in 9/11, a terrible and shocking attack … and George Bush has been adroit at exploiting that attack, and he has elevated himself, in the consciousness of many Americans, to a heroic commander in chief, fighting a global threat against America,” Carter said.
“He’s repeatedly played that card, and to some degree quite successfully. I think that success has dissipated,” he added.

Carter responded to the atmosphere at the time by slamming the notion that questioning Bush’s actions was unpatriotic.
His rebuke for media cowardice about asking tough questions about the “war on terror” was also stinging.
“The press have been cowed, because they didn’t want to be unpatriotic. There has been a lack of inquisitive journalism. In fact, it’s hard to think of a major medium in the United States that has been objective and fair and balanced, and critical when criticism was deserved,” said Carter.
Carter’s support for a new investigation into 9/11 has been echoed by innumerable prominent public figures both in and out of politics over the last few years.
Former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura, former Italian President Francesco Cossiga, UK MP Michael Meacher, Japanese MP Fujita Yukihisa, former German Defense Secretary Andreas von Buelow, music icon Willie Nelson, and even vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin have all expressed support for a new inquiry into the September 2001 attacks.

Someone explain to me why Alex and Paul dont like me idea. Every Hollywood celebrity who supposed wants to give Alex this money but is afraid could send ten or even a hundred postal money orders at a time made to Alex Jones with no retrun name on it. The celebrity doesn’t even have to have their fingerprints either on the cash that buys the money order or on the money order that sents to Alex. That’s what assistants are for! It’s not easy spreading the word to millions worldwide (Thailand here) – its incredibly unpopular, besieged everywhere you go, the government wants to suppress you, the media tries to marginalize and drown you out, and packs of jackals are always biting. Obama is luckier than Carter, in that the crashed economy resulting from the Vietnam debacle and the confidence damage that followed Watergate waited till Carter took office before happening.
I think the Bush gang hoped to make their escape before their crash but couldn’t sustain the illusion long enough, and now Obama can’t be blamed — he’s in the clear.
We all know how Carter would likely have been re-elected if not for GHW Bush and Bob Gates pulling off the October Surprise (stalling the release of the hostages till the moment Reagan took the oath, and the voyage of the USS Poet, with two holds of grain and one hold welded shut full of weapons, as a down-payment on what would become Iran-Contra).
We also know that Borrow-and-Spend found its true master in Ronnie Raygun, who entered office while we were still the #1 creditor nation and exporter of finished goods (look it up!) and by the time he left, we were the #1 debtor and importer of goods.

But Carter is very courageous, and he may well favor a proper investigation.

Have you ever considered the possibility that Jimmy didn’t want to raise too much attention with his positive response on a new investigation into 9/11? Perhaps he’s being very careful where he treads… He’s an honest man who was played for a fool and used as a total puppet when he was President and I think he knows that. I think he’s being careful, but also wants to tell things like they are… Tell it like it is, like Jesse Ventura always used to say alongside Gorillla Monsoon. Carter has done more in the past 30 years for this country then you’ve done your entire life, don’t you dare demean him with your rude accusations, he did MOST things right and was demonized by the public and by his successors. IF we followed his plan for energy and diplomacy we wouldn’t find ourselves in the mess we are in today. WE ALL bought the BS by the shovel full, but you do realize that this man did have the right idea for this country and was thinking decades before his time. Solar panels were an inefficient source of power in the 80’s but he realized the potential. If we didn’t have so many republicans in the past two decade (which weren’t really republicans but took over there party), we wouldn’t be so dependent on foreign oil and labor. We would be exporting rather then importing.
You sir demand a lot from a person that went against the status quo to better a country that was totally left in shambles by the previous administration. If it wasn’t for the brief Carter administration we would probably still be in vietnam.
He spent his time after building homes for the poor (with his own bear hands!!), hundreds of charities and has been ridiculed every step of the way. You sir owe this man a lot more respect then your showing him. Have some respect for the best president in the past few decades (well since kennedy at least)!!!

you should check out the archives during the Israeli/Gaza conflict, you want to see holocaust deniers, and there propaganda, check it out for yourself. Anything written by nimmo and watson during that time was to enhance hatred for “ZIONISM” which is another word for “jew” (not really the word zionism represents a belief in a jewish state rather then a specific religion following), but if you read the comments you will see first hand what the beliefs at this site truly are.

Good work as always from “We Are Change”! True patriots are beholding to you guys. Thanks for the sacrifices you all make.
In previous times[prior to 9/11] not even a kids paper kite or cluster of birthday balloons would have been able to float over our pentagon,much less a large hijacked commercial plane. That incident alone is enough to warrant a very detailed investigation. Everyone knows that the pentagon is the most secure bldg. in the world with defense mechanisms around it that we can’t even imagine.
I do not recall any news reports ever even mentioning the smell of burnt flesh which should have been very strong for blocks around the site had a plane full of people really crashed and burnt up as reported.
Our law-makers,justice dept,news media,etc.have now acted in such a way that they will all be thought of as aiders and abettors or complicit co-conspiritors so they all will continue to oppose a real investigation but I believe the truth will eventually be accepted by most of the fools that have refused to even consider the obvious. I DO NOT WANT HUMANE PUNISHMENT FOR THE GUILTY!

Although i agree with what Carter is saying, why should he matter all that much more than the thousands of American citizens that think the same thing? That fool was president like thirty years ago. Doesn’t he build house now anyways or something like that? 9/11 needs to be looked at again, it’s simple, thousands of our country-men and women died that day, for no real reason, but we don’t need some senile old fart to tell us this.

Don’t play coy with me son you know exactly what he means…..Allow me to clarify the question was asked as such “don’t you think the families of the 9/11 victims deserve a new investigation into 9/11?” which he replied of course……but that’s not what people at this site want, to be honest the outcome is far from what there questions revolve around. They want to know why, and how the attacks took place. A far cry from the investigation into the deaths and the aftermath..

The real crime is what took place after the attacks (innocent fire men risking there lives breathing in all sorts of bad chemicals and micro fibers. THAT’S WHAT CARTER WANTS TO INVESTIGATE… not the attacks themselves.

it’s a known fact that ex presidents still get briefings after they left office. I’m pretty sure Carter is comfortable with the idea that Bin Laden hijacked planes and crashed them into buildings, but what he would be concerned with is how the administration handled themselves after words. A lot of lives were lost by negligent acts of the people in charge. Rudy, Fema, and the president himself as well as his EPA report, literally sentenced thousands of people to there death by not providing the proper safety equipment.
There is also the matter that 3 buildings came down and only 2 were hit, not to mention the unlikely scenario of all three towers fell in their own foot print. Look there are tons of questions concerning 9/11 but too think this man doesn’t believe the briefings is madness.
But he might have the answers to those questions at least, but I don;t think he can disclose information from the briefings (I also heard that he is one of the few presidents who actually don’t read the daily briefings).
Look 9/11 is a very complex thing but to say Alex and everyone here has done the proper research, I don’t know my stance on 9/11 is close to a lot of people on this site, the only problem is that I don’t believe jews were responsible on shear fact that Bin laden would never work side by side with jews and it was his motive to the “T”.
If you want to learn more of that connection read ghost wars. It will give you a more accurate depiction of what Bin Laden actually was doing of the course of three decades.

I think Blues is right about tail numbers. More people need to value this type of inconvenient truth. The only reason the coverup gets away with it is not enough people are aware of their role in air transport and the strict regulations that apply.
If this rose to the level of frequent mention on talk tv, and people talking were knowledgeable about the implications, some real rumblings could result.
This and a thousand other specifics that we all know. Specifics are great, but tiny — like a sand storm, whereas generalities are large but lightweight, like a beachball.

This is a shameless sensationalistic headline which completely misrepresents former President Carter’s intent of his reply in this instance. The headline should be “Carter supports 911 FAMILIES who would like another 911 investigation”.
If you want to have a speck of credibility you will cease and desist from this sort of trash talking SPIN which is completely dishonest at it’s core. Carter is a gentle man of values (perhaps not 100% on board with ‘constitutional’ or ‘truther’ values) and his support of the FAMILIES could have been a building block towards a new investigation had you not creamed your pants prematurely.
This is completely sickening and only supports those who feel that many of the 911 truthers are total whack-jobs. I know not all of you are, and I think there needs to be further investigation. Especially on the steel and thermite – why was it all hauled away?

I would be mindful and careful about a well known Insider (CFR, TC) like James Carter calling for a new 9-11 investigation. While good, the usual pattern of Insiders supporting constitutional aims, or things actually good for the Republic, tend to have an ulterior underpinning. In this case, I could envision a man of his supposed stature greasing the skids for an international investigation that could help assemble other globalists whose real aim would be, not to uncover the actual truth, but to tow the Establishment line and help to bury what really happened behind a facade of lies.
There have already been simmering and suppressed calls for a new international investigation led by, of all institutions, the Godless, communist United Nations- that bastion and seat of world government control. And while Mr. Carter’s call may be genuine, his connections to the Global Elite Brotherhood concern me greatly with respect to this subject. More observation of his reasons for this position, and more observations of those whom he’d support conducting the investigation, would be prudent.

And after watching this video more thoroughly I see that he in fact did not say he supported a new investigation but the FAMILIES who want a new investigation. It may be semantics to some, but the clear distinction must be made. Let’s not be too quick to jump the gun and simply infer that he MEANT to say what some want to THINK he said. It would be good if he desires to support the victims’ families in their quest for justice, but let’s test the spirits here and see if that’s really what his intention of speech was. Further dialogues with him would be good thing.

Agreed. Carter had and has a Conscience and that is why he was removed from office. He was removed from office because of his Conscience and the camp David accords. Ultimately he was removed from office because of the Camp David accords and Bush I was also removed because of his attempts to make peace in Israel/Palestine. Hello everyone. This morning I was on Global Link (the modern world wide human interface) and there were people talking about how people are waking up and the truth about 9/11 is breaking the surface. It’s looking like 9/11 truth might hit critical mass sometime around 2031. Fingers crossed.
At this point about 78% of us organic humans are chipped and living in underground facilities where we are allowed 1 hour a week of outdoor relaxation, but don’t worry people. We just have to wake up more people, we are still fighting and someday the nwo will be exposed! We are going to have a silent protest this monday at 9am but come 10am we will have to return to our units for semen and egg extraction.

I think the title of this article is quite misleading…
He was confronted in a book signing with an unexpected question…and his response was sort of an “ya why wouldnt i support an investigation?” another one couldnt do any harm, only good sort of thing. pretty much anyone would agree that it wouldnt hurt to do another investigation.
So it doesnt mean he believes there were lies (even though i do believe it was an inside job…well i know it was…the evidence is all right there. i dont call facts conspiracies.) Now im not saying this guy is a bad man or anything…but hes not pushing or helping to push for a new investigation. This article is a stretch.

Former President Jimmy Carter did agree that a new investigation into September 11th would get his full support. Thats it I do not think that President Carter being a severly elderly man will make people cry foul, and that we are picking on him. He is very elderly thats a no brainer but are you implying something else that he is not thinking clearly anymore? In this video he is acting and interacting without any signs of stress. He was not pressured into answering nor was he badgered into a answer. If he wanted to refuse he would of clearly done so.

I feel either Cater wants to make up for mistakes in old life, or it’s a fake/ counter messure for the groups. Cater has done his share of bad things to our country. if it helps for 9-11 truth i’m for it, but either way still dont trust him. Its hard to ever reach the seat he had as president without getting with those scum in some way. We really do need a revolution to clean house!!!

The 9-11 followup investigation never quite sat right with me, nor did the Warren Commission’s report on JFK’s assassination. The top guns appeared only too quick to provide us with the results of those investigations. A few years ago I watched a ‘documentary’ on television, which was gonna prove to everyone’s satisfaction that the Warren Commission boys were right on the money with their conclusions. Lemme tell ya..they had fancy-schmancy towers set up, geometric lines and (I think) laser lights..the whole kitten kaboodle. I remember thinking, hmm.. all that effort and expense to debunk alternative theories about something which occurred over 40 years ago; who made some moola on that one? What’s afoot here on Disney Planet?
I’m not the kind of guy who sees a conspiracy around every corner. I do, however, strive to be a thinking man, to use the mind which God has given. There are just too many inconsistencies in the 9-11 investigation; something just doesn’t add up. As the legendary Nat King Cole stated in a song of yore: “Your story touches my heart, but it sounds like a lie.”

Regarding Carter, he was picked for the job of President for a reason. As read from the Rense link above, a bloke called John Todd (aka Lance Collins from the 13 bloodline family) exposed not only Rothschild’s behind the scenes pulling “levers of power” in the US, but also those selected for power positions.
