Freedom Tower Will Be Called One World Trade Center

NEW YORK — The Freedom Tower is out. One World Trade Center is in.
The agency that owns ground zero confirmed Thursday that the signature skyscraper replacing the towers destroyed on Sept. 11 will be more commonly known as One World Trade Center.
The building under construction at the site was named the Freedom Tower in the first ground zero master plan. Officials at the time said the tallest, most symbolic of five planned towers at the site would demonstrate the country’s triumph over terrorism.
Port Authority of New York and New Jersey chairman Anthony Coscia says the agency refers to the building as One World Trade Center. He says it’s the building’s legal name and "the one that’s easiest for people to identify with."

Hey so what’s so wrong with one world government? Think about it, all of us living in peace and order, harmony and justice. Its not like we don’t have those same people ruling over us right now, it will all be public this way.

Freedom Tower was a bit cheesy in my opinion and served as an overly prideful (not stoic) form of recovery from 9/11. (I believe a quiet memorial resounds much more appropriately as a form of remembrance, then overly “symbolic” architectural design) That being said, One World Trade Center serves as an edifice representing acceptance of world collectivism. The idea of being respectful of other countries while still maintaining nationalistic independence is lost in this name.

It’s a fairly new social news site about your reactions to news and it’s getting a lot of traction. They do not filter Infowars articles like some of the others either.
