Gates Warns Against ‘Testing’ Obama

Flashback: What Will Obama’s “International Crisis” Be?
MANAMA, Bahrain — Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates warned Saturday that foreign powers should not try to “test” President-elect Barack Obama with a crisis in his first months in office and that Mr. Obama remained committed to the security of the Persian Gulf and American interests in the region.
Mr. Gates, speaking at a conference on regional security here, said that Mr. Obama and his advisers had done more extensive planning across the government for the transition than at any time he could remember and asserted that they would therefore be prepared from day one. Mr. Gates, who is staying on as Defense secretary, has worked for seven presidents. Mr. Obama will be his eighth.
After leaving Bahrain, Mr. Gates made an unannounced visit to Iraq, The Associated Press reported.

“So anyone who thought that the upcoming months might present opportunities to ‘test’ the new president would be sorely mistaken,” Mr. Gates said at the conference. “President Obama and his national security team, myself included, will be ready to defend the interests of the United States and our friends and allies from the moment he takes office on January 20.”
Mr. Gates was alluding to remarks made in the final days of this year’s presidential campaign by Mr. Obama’s running mate, Senator Joseph R. Biden Jr., Democrat of Delaware, who told supporters at a Seattle fundraiser in October that the world’s leaders would test Mr. Obama’s mettle as a young president, just as they did John F. Kennedy. Mr. Obama’s Republican opponent, Senator John McCain, pounced on the remark and opened a new line of criticism from Republicans that Mr. Obama was not ready for the presidency.

It’s a decoy all the middle east wars & reports (Iran) are to keep MSM on the toes and distracted , EU & US are more interested in Africa! That’s the only place to get resources without causing WW3 and to counter Chinese past investments and interests!
They will start a war in Africa with a UN mandate sooner or later and China won be able to anything about it!
All the ships paroling Africa because of “pirates” are a great excuse to get the EU involved with more Military in the region.
It’s only a matter of time, I think around March 2009 we will see things develop into that General direction.
Most African resource (oil) supplying Nations have civil wars… US & EU will invade with the old “bring democracy & security” excuse fully supported by the UN this time They will sell it as a “humanitarian Mission”. But we all know what that really means.

Aw, great. So we’ll never get out of there. I’m pretty tired of people thinking that they know better than me when I’m paying for something.
This can only be done by full evacuation, full laying down of arms, and full reduction of the armed forces.

I also suspect that the U.S. is trying to have a bigger foot in the door of Africa. First they created AIDS to reduce the population of Africa–now they will send in more U.S. military to take over the countries that have resourses–oil, gold, diamonds, ect….. Murderers!!!!

Obama is NOT legally supposed to take office anyway, the high courts just refuse to investigate the cases and do their jobs. That’s another story already being told now. Not a good time for America to begin with due to the ignorance and manipulation of the population whom allowed all this mess to begin with.

Funny how the “AUTHORITES” keep saying Obama will be tested, again and again, They are going to do a big bomb or similar and blame it on some made up group or other, False flag coming folks, watch this space they keep saying so dont they…We have heard all this so many times, what will Obama do but what he is told to do What sort of testing is this, he will be warm and safe, while we will be all starving living in the streets , Obama tested what about testing us?
