Former U.S. Presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton traded jokes about life after the Oval Office and took turns defending each other as they shared a stage in Toronto on Friday to discuss global affairs.

Bush’s vice president, Dick Cheney, has emerged as one of Obama’s toughest critics and the staunchest defender of the Bush administration’s policies after the Sept. 11 attacks.
But Bush, saying he had hated it when former presidents criticized him after he took office, said, “Anything I say is not to be critical of my successor … (there are) plenty of critics in American society.”
Bush, who has stayed mostly out of the public eye since leaving the White House in January, said he was enjoying the freedom of being a private citizen but thanked the Toronto organizers “for giving me something to do.”
The two-term Republican president from Texas said he had been taking on chores dictated by his wife, Laura, and had discovered the challenges of cleaning up after pets as he walked the family dog, Barney, around their Dallas neighborhood.
“There I was, the former president, with a plastic bag on my hand, picking up that which I had dodged for eight solid years,” Bush said to laughs from the 6,000-strong audience.

I have heard reports that GW Bush is living in Crawford and Laura is living in the new house in Dallas. This is my first post on this site and I’ve been reading other’s posts for awhile now. I feel that we need to protest, I agree with Grammar Nazi. Peacefully protest all the wrongs that we know are going on. We have to show solidarity in our movement and concerns. Yes, most people will disagree on things, but that’s what they FEED on; as I’m sure most of you already know. I’m not completely positive that a revolution is the answer, like Kevin Trudeau said on AJ’s show, they own both boxers like Don King. I think that they WANT a revolution to start, what easier way to get us to kill each other? Think about it? All over the internet, people are confused, some know the truth, some know some of the truth, some are skeptics, some want to fight, some want to do SOMETHING to change this but everyone is so scattered. This is what they want!! They want us scatter-brained and unorganized. We must unite and unite totally!! Together we can not be stopped by these tyrannists. We need to get EVERYONE together, everyone unified against these evil people and that’s the only way that we can beat them, together. Peace, love and unity will bring them down because they cannot comprehend these things. They are ruthless, but we are vigilant and determined. I can say that some of my close friends and family who know about this are just as confused as everyone else. I say to them, we must protest, we have to take to the streets, and they say “no, you’ll get tagged and they’ll watch you, etc etc.” What I’ve come to realize is that their FEAR mongering is working on people. Fear not, unite and we can be free. I heard the best acronym for fear: F=false E=evidence/expectations A=appearing R=real. LET’S DO IT, LET’S HIT THE STREETS IN NUMBERS THEY CAN’T FATHOM!!
