Glenn Beck Mentions FEMA Camps on Fox & Friends

Continuing his assigned role as corporate media siren of the apocalypse, Glenn Beck interrupted a discussion on Russia and Iran last night on Fox & Friends to mention a heretofore no-no for national television — FEMA camps. At two minutes into the video below, Beck declares he attempted to “debunk these FEMAS camps” because he is “tired of hearing about them,” but was unable to do so. “We now for several days have done research on them… I can’t debunk them.” Beck follows this with a declaration that the United States may be headed for totalitarianism.

The existence of FEMA detention camps is a well-documented fact. In January 2006, Haliburton subsidiary KBR announced that it had been awarded a $385 million contract to construct the camps for the Department of Homeland Security. In a press release issued on January 24, 2006, KBR said the “contract, which is effective immediately, provides for establishing temporary detention and processing capabilities to augment existing ICE Detention and Removal Operations (DRO) Program facilities in the event of an emergency influx of immigrants into the U.S., or to support the rapid development of new programs.”
The possibility of an influx of illegal aliens, however, is a cover for the real purpose of the camps — to detain American citizens after a declaration of martial law. In 1984, the government created REX-84, an emergency response program involving the implementation of martial law and the arrest and detainment of certain segments of the population. REX-84 was mentioned during the Iran-Contra hearings and publicly exposed by the Miami Herald on Sunday July 5th, 1987. REX-84 dovetailed with Operation Garden Plot, a United States Army and National Guard program under control of the U.S. Northern Command to provide Federal military support during domestic civil disturbances (see US FEMA Camps, Global Research, January 10, 2008).
On May 9, 2007 George Bush reasserted the role of the government during a declared emergency by issuing Executive Order NSPD 51/ HSPD-20, stating that in the event of a “catastrophic emergency” all “national essential functions” may be taken over by the Executive branch of government and the Department of Homeland Security, including FEMA.

In October of 2006, Congress passed the Military Commissions Act, legislation allowing the government to detain citizens deemed “enemy combatants” and hold them indefinitely without charge and independently of the judiciary. The act was upheld by the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in 2003.
“Citizens who are concerned about the purpose and potential use of the detainment camps have documented and, when possible, filmed the detainment facilities,” writes the Geopolitical Monitor. “A current estimate of the number of detainment camps is over 800 located in all regions of the United States with varying maximum capacities. If one includes government buildings currently used for other purposes the number is far greater. Video of renovated but empty detainment camps has also been released” (see Friends of Liberty FEMA Concentration Camps: Locations and Executive Orders).
On September 11, 2005, in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, I wrote for Global Research:
It appears Hurricane Katrina has provided FEMA with an excuse to “dry run” its unconstitutional powers in New Orleans, rounding up “refugees” (now called “evacuees”) and “relocating” them in various camps. “Some evacuees are being treated as ‘internees’ by FEMA,” writes former NSC employee Wayne Madsen. “Reports continue to come into WMR that evacuees from New Orleans and Acadiana [the traditional twenty-two parish Cajun homeland] who have been scattered across the United States are being treated as ‘internees’ and not dislocated American citizens from a catastrophe. Some FEMA facilities are preventing these internees from leaving on their own. Reports of mandatory registration and the issuing of FEMA ID cards suggest that FEMA, an agency that is rife with right-wing security goons and severely lacking in humanitarian workers, has other motives in treating poor and destitute American citizens as prisoners in their own country.” Call it REX-84 revisited.

“Military action might encompass making arrests, seizing documents or other property, searching persons or places or keeping them under surveillance, intercepting electronic or wireless communications, setting up roadblocks, interviewing witnesses and searching for suspects,” wrote Yoo and Justice special counsel Robert Delahunty.
It may have also encompassed rounding up American citizens and sending them to KBR constructed concentration camps in approximately 800 locations scattered around the country, the existence of which Glenn Beck and his researchers are unable to debunk.
Finally, we should ask why Glenn Beck is now mentioning the existence of FEMA detention camps, a subject previously considered in the realm of delusional conspiracy theories by the corporate media.
Is it possible Glenn Beck’s handlers are sending us a message?

Im starting to wonder if maybe glen beck is in the process of waking up and in a spiritual battle within himself. Time will tell. We cant just assume he is a dissinfo agent because of his past. There was once a day when i was still asleep. I was naive and ignorant, and was a die hard republican. I would have voted for bush before i voted for ron paul. But over the coarse of a few months i woke up and changed my whole outlook on things. Just because i use to be a bush supporter doesnt mean im a dissinfo agent, or spook controled by the globalists. So before we start making assumptions we should give beck a chance. and if hes honest waking up then we will see him get fired from fox news, and turned into a nut job by the media. I will keep a close eye on him and come to my own conclusions. We also have to remember that the older folks are more difficult to wake up because they have believed one thing their whole life. Honestly, i don’t know Beck’s history. i discovered his show a few months ago, it airs at 4pm here in Austin of course. For over a decade I’ve relied on Alex for good info, “subversive info!” I could not be surprised to learn that Glenn was basically a “dissinfo” agent. A bone for us who are gravely concerned, like the pacifying bone thrown to the blessed “Obamanites,” those who would place their hopes falsely on things as frivolous as a mans skin color and not his qualifications or associations. Whatever his agenda, and it is Fox News, so i am skeptical, I like what i hear, it is dissent, it is pro constitutional dialect. Ron Paul was on his show again today, I like Ron Paul! I’m writing because i wonder, what is Fox’s objective? Glenn Beck’s program is rapidly gaining momentum and it’s ratings are skyrocketing, at least to hear it from Fox. So is it a bone? I have no doubt that the government has plans under COG and DHS, FEMA, etc. But can’t anyone go out and find a “new” FEMA camp, especially since there are over 800 of them?
It seems like a real journalist would go out into the field and bring back some fresh video. Yes, we have documents out the kazoo on these FEMA camps but I’d love to see more than one example. We already knew about the KBR/Haliburton deal with the government.

Protesting is just talk. It’s a fun party, and that’s all it is. Perhaps a few people will take notice but for the most part it’s just preaching to the choir. Don’t get me wrong, I love protests, it’s nice for the people to develop a “free speech zone” of their own. Yet the real battle isn’t going to be won by protest alone.
BtW, the US military isn’t going to take part in gun confiscations, and whoever does will die by patriot-assisted lead poisoning. There were over 4 million new gun sales in the past 100 days, and 1.5 BILLION rounds were sold during the same time period. That sounds like some pretty heavy retrieval work to me.

BAMA – I agree with your belief system statement but I believe Glen knows exactly what he is doing. His job is to report the “alternative” news, similar to Lou Dobbs. When Alex interviewed Lou he admitted to knowing a bit of the agenda (trans Texas corridor, collapsed boarders, etc).
Glenn would have had to seen enough to know whats going on. How many past topics have been black listed? How many meetings with the producers behind closed doors? How big is his pay check? “Reporting” the news is his job.

I don’t know Glenn Beck, nor do I care to investigate too closely. If he’s on MSM saying this, it’s got to be with at least tacit consent of some involved corporation. That means that everything is likely arranged. They’re putting this out for one of three reasons. They may want to expand the lists by having another site to capture “visitors” on. They may want to use these statements later on to break false stories after most of the alternative news is shut down on the “Internet Lite”. Or they may be setting him up as an attempt to get large segments of the population to fall back into trusting the MSM in general or Glenn Beck in particular further down the road. I think setting him up to be a shill is most likely, as he’s never broken a “new” bit of information, just rehashed what’s common to truthers all ready. Just my opinion, you’re welcome to yours.

Amazing how so many of the Neo-Con boosters give credence to these issues now that that the loyal opposition has power to further implement them. I’ll give Savage credit for not walking in lock step for years and being a critic of them for years, and now Laura Ingrahm is challenging the bail out with many of Ron Paul’s arguments against FIAT currency/ federal reserve. Glenn Beck is uncovering the NWO, North American Union, and police state matters. Jerry Doyle is uncovering the REAL cost of the bail out and calling to jail Henry Paulson.
I know Alex is critical of many them (they are his radio competition, after all), but there is a slow emergence of mainstream media enlightenment going on. Internet Protocal adress is assigned by your router everytime you connect to the internet. It is genaric and cannot be used to locate a person who is not connected to your router in your home. However, certain authorities such as comcast, AT&T and others can determine your location by crossreferencing your acount information with what line you are connected on. In addition, your internet connection can be tracked at a national HUB but they cant figure out where you are within your area code without some sort of account or connection info.

I posted under another thread about these camps but this one seems to be better because the video shows what I was talking about.
I believe they are building two kinds of camps. If you read the bill that authorizes the Halliburton money you will find that the bill calls for medical facilities, educational facilities and recreational facilities to be built in these camps. Everything that would be found in a small town. Why would you need recreational facilities in a death camp? The answer.
One kind of camp, built mostly on old military bases are for the rich and politicians who need to be protected during the coming collapse. You don’t think their going to just leave government officials hanging out there for us to extract our vengeance upon do you? These camps will be secure places for the government officials at all levels to take their families. They will be guarded by the military and will probably have an airport for bringing in food and supplies.
Look at the fence at the facility in the above video. The barbed wire is pointing out. Why would they need turnstiles with biometric or rfid readers if the peole going in are prisoners? What better cover and to keep people away than to let the rumors about death camps circulate among the people? That’s the first kind of camp.
The other camps with minimum facilites and big open spaces conplete with barbed wire on the inside of the fence are for you and me. These facilities will be the ones with the incinerators and other modern conveniences. These are the ones where you and I will go. Probably after having been found to be enemy combatants while “visiting at the other facilities. Oh and don’t forget. If you have been effective in the freedom movement you will probably get to have a short stay at the government facility long enough to get your free waterboarding ride while being interrogated as to the whereabouts of your “patriot” brothers.
Be patient folks. It’ll be here before you know it and whether you want it or not.

I too studied a lot of info about the halocaust and WWII when I was young and had the same experience. “This will happen again” over and over again in my head as if someone was telling me something I desperatly needed to know. A few months after this experience I kept hearing in my head “get a shortwave radio” over and over again. I followed the advice and bought a SW radio shortly there after I discovered AJ’s show and have been awake ever since. Some of you may think we are crazy hearing voices in our head and all. But I like to think that God was trying to get me to wake up. I truly believe that the Lord has some wonderful plans for a lot of us. I have spent the day going over news clips after news clip where GB is trying to get the truth out. I greatly apologize for earlier statements made against him. I can only imagine how difficult it must be to speak fractions at a time in regards to controversial news. He did that in the latest news and look what happened. His second report to be given on this was cancelled. I wouldn’t be surprised if headlines tomorrow say “News broadcaster has heart attack and dies”.
I was harsh in my words and now have been educated in what he is about.
Bottom line here is… The world and that includes us are in trouble in the biggest of ways.
Revolt will happen, starvation will happen and death will happen. This country will rebuild, but I am certain none of us will recognize it.

It is the Mexican’s Marxist precepts which equip them to survive at a payrate, that undercuts American labor. Their living situations are communal, and any survival need they can’t pay for is covered by the state, or requisitioned from the rich.

The definition of freedom is a point of view that is different for each person. Starvation and oppression is a lack of freedom. Crime without penalty is lack of freedom. Tainted water and spoiled foods are a lack of freedom. You haven’t been to Mexico City have you?
The plan that Obama is putting into place is one that will require migrant type workers to perform. These jobs will not be filled by your local contractor.
I’m not sure where you get your data, but one issue that screwed this country was hiring Mexicans to do the job at half the cost. And they would because their cardboard box that they live in came at no cost. While cost of living continued to rise for the taxpaying Americans. Secondly, big business was forced to account for these people and they still continue to break the law. They are illegally here and businesses are forced to use them to help turn a larger profit. They sold out for the money.
So running mock drills for a fema camp isn’t about holding the Mexicans, it is about holding Americans.
They can’t keep them out with the border fence and that’s a few at a time. What makes you thinks that 1000’s in a camp could be controlled.

Interview him about Rex84 and the classical video of Ollie at the Iran-Contra hearing and the FEMA camps, where Ollie talks about them being set-up for an influx of illegal aliens. I think its simple. As Alex and the truth movement educate people about FEMA camps they begin to research it. As more people search the camps on Google or YouTube the elite are now stuck trying to play down the camps and add their double speak spin to it. Its better for the elite to have Glenn tell you about the camps than Alex.
The danger will be if they start to do more and more news stories about them slowly conditioning the public and dropping down their instinctual fear factor of them.

here’s what’s going on at least the way i see it… now you can think it’s fear you can think it’s crazy honestly you can think it’s anything… personally i don’t care, you would how ever be crazy not to think about it all… my thought is this… America is on it’s way to another civil war… we are going to have conservatives and liberals in violent war here… at that point or right before it gets out of control we are thrusted into martial law… in which these camps will be for those who get out of line… and the executive orders of FEMA will put into place and you will loose your freedom and your libereties… if you have not looked at the executive orders i suggest you look them up and see how our constitution will be erradicated more so than it already has been… when the wool is pulled from the eyes panic will ensue… you have one of to options… Look to God or panic… personally it is my prayer that you look to Jesus and pray for your salvation… eventually this once great nation will crumble, and the freedom you long for will taken out from under your feet… true freedom is found in Christ… now either i’m insane or that’s the facts… your choice… much love and respect to all if any eyes that take the time to read this..
