Fox News hosts are known for viewing the world around them with alarm — but Glenn Beck goes far beyond most of his peers at Fox in his belief that the future looks "really bad."
In a visit Friday with the hosts of Fox & Friends, Beck even managed to terrify Gretchen Carlson beyond the degree to which she is normally capable of terrifying herself.
"What we are possibly looking at is something far worse than the Depression," Beck began. "We are in much greater debt as individuals. We don’t know how to grow our own food."
"We’re also looking at civil unrest all around the world," he continued. "You need to prepare. This is something that could be … really dangerous. … My hands, now, for the first time in my life, are shaking. … We’re running out of exit ramps here."

Beck’s greatest fear — which he suggests is shared by his friends in the military and the FBI — is clearly not the prospect of widespread poverty, hunger, or homelessness. Rather, it appears to be thenotion that worldwide civil unrest could precipitate a civil war between what he calls the "bubbas" and the United States government.
Laying out a convoluted scenario, Beck suggested that the military is preparing for a situation where "something happens down on the border. You’ve got the rancher who is protecting his land, people are starting to come over … there’s a shot fired, it ignites things. ATF, FBI come in and arrest that rancher. How many people are going to say, ‘Wait a minute. … You people knew this was going on and you did nothing to protect us.’"
At that point, Gretchen Carlson slid down and hid under the coffee table, saying, "Tell me when the world’s okay to come back out."
"I really hope you’re wrong," Steve Doocy added.

There are those who can’t take anything serious, much like laughing at someone who walks into a wall or trips on the street. However, what Glen Beck is saying is serious. I can say without a doubt that those who are not prepared (can grow their own food or know what to eat off the land) will be looking for ways to steal food and civil unrest will be everywhere, including many people getting hurt or killed just trying to survive by any means. This will happen everywhere in the world. Even China may face a civil war, so will European Nations. However, if we look at the over all picture who is to blame for the world unrest is the New World Order. Take out the New World Order and there is no more problem and the world can start to rebuilt itself. It may take a while, but be wiling to show others how to grow their own food, help neighbors and form groups to learn to how survive the future together. The Internet is filled with information how to survive anywhere, from the desert to the forest and even in the city. Buy as many seeds as you can because if you have to move away from the city and live in a tent on some hill or field, even a friends yard you can grow food anywhere you end up if you have seeds. Water filters and water treatment pills are great to have on hand. Stock up and prepare. Be willing to move at a seconds notice and get out of the cities. When you lose everything you have to have a backup plan and a place or at least an idea where to go. Just don’t be left confused and without even the knowledge of how to survive.
Get the whole family involved, get relatives involved, but be prepared for things are going to get extreme bad really fast.

Have you seen that new Fox News program The Strategy Room? I am having a hard time wrapping my head around that one. What is a show like that doing on a mainstream network? I find it encouraging. One of the hosts, Judge Napolitano, is fantastic and really lends credibility to the program. There are a number of clips from the show on youtube. Ron Paul often calls in. Try to pitch him for a segment on the state sovereignty movement or, better yet, a segment relating to Obama so he can plug his new documentary (don’t tell them that, though). Let them know about all of the high profile guests AJ has on his show and the millions of listeners who would tune in to see his appearance, and likely start watching the show regularly. I am sure their sponsors would like that. Sell him!

That’s something we all need to keep in mind in these times. Always trust, but verify. That’s in good times, in these, don’t trust and verify three times, then trust. I still check all the articles on this site and all the rest of it as far as I can; at least the important ones. Action needs a leader, so find one among local people you know and trust. Or, if you can take action as an individual, DO IT! Write emails, letters, phone calls, point things out to friends, family and even strangers. It’s tough, but if you work at it, an individual can make a difference. Good luck and long life to all of you.

I don’t really think that he is a very bright guy, but he is trying to understand. I remember how I felt right after I was unplugged from the Matrix. I was confused, scared, frustrated, and just generally pissed off. I have since unplugged many people including my wife. I think that Glenn is ready to be unplugged, he just needs some help. I think we need to try and help him, he is not a lost cause. I can’t imagine that Fox would keep him around very long if he started talking about the NWO but it would at least help the cause for a short time. He has a broad radio base and would do a much better job for usthan neocon’s such as Hannity or Rush.
All I am saying is that we should pity these sheeple and try to help them. Remember, you used to be one too.

I apologize up front for being off subject, but ever since november SW FLORIDA ( Sarasota area) has been under an almost DAILY barrage of CHEMTRAILS! Does anybody have any info as to why? I’ve been to all the “chemtrail links” & read the info about chemtrails but, I haven’t SEEN any of the affects that are mentioned(Morgellens disease, mind control, or weather manipulation etc.).It DOES take a beautiful blue sky & make “hazy gray.” As I look out my window there’s a HUGE “tic tac toe” pattern in the sky (the 3rd one today) Any info would be appreciated!! Here in Leeds the UK..they spray us with chemtrails constantly. For the last few years farmers have been reporting lower crops because of excessive rain. Have you seen the film about chemtrails called ” don’t talk about the weather”(on google and torrent sites). It shows how bad the spraying is in england. It also shows how the british public where sprayed with Anthrax…sad but true.

I mean they’ve been RELENTLESS since November!Just about any day the skies are clear you can see them doing their “handywork.” Big,huge “multiple square”patterns. Just a thought… If chemtrails are truly related to weather manipulation, are they laying some kind of “groundwork” for the upcoming hurricane season? I have often thought that the haze chemtrails produce would be perfect for a backdrop for projecting holograms onto the sky(you couldn’t do it otherwise) They once once toyed with the idea in iraq (to project an hologram of Allah..so the iraqis would lay down their weapons)

It’s just that so many haven’t been able to cross that intellectual threshold, wherein science and objectivity are critical factors to understanding what things are and what it can mean to be human.
Even once you do realize, your predispositions and infirmities can distract you completely from what is before you; blinding you for most of your waking hours. They certainly get the best of me.
Just look at the truth and wisdom that can be found in common between two disparate political philosophies (ex., Jones and Tarpley).
I don’t think it’s hard to figure anything out, but when dealing with large systems it takes superhuman stamina and focus, great knowledge and wisdom, and mental acumen and intelligence. It also takes leadership qualities, precision, understanding, empathy. I have yet to bear witness to any individual having most of these attributes, so, it’s true, we do have much to learn from each other.

Unfortunately many Americans are like Gretchen and although they hear pieces of the “reality snapshots,” their minds selectively filter out the ramifications because the ramifications are too horrifying.
They like to laugh and giggle about it and then dismiss the messenger as warp minded and as someone that loves to focus on horrible things and scare everyone. Then when the messenger attempts to link it to, “classical & historical examples,” of how society & governments have most often reacted in the past, there is a total disconnect. It’s as obvious as being in total denial about one’s credit card debt, or in many ways similar to being in total denial about a booze problem, a bad marriage or even an eating disorder, rather than facing the facts.
I personally do not want to see Marshall Law and chaos overtake this nation, it would be a horror show FOR REAL, but if we continue to flat out deny all the signposts of which there are now far too many and if we fail to discuss it and put it all together, then America as a nation will be like all the other historical examples of nations, that failed to correct a VERY SERIOUS problem. Denial is sweet anesthesia in the begining, but, denial can also lead to a horrendous outcome as the history books tell us over and over agian, when looking at past civilizations and nations, as recent as Nazi Germany and as recent as North Korea and as recent as the former Soviet Union. These horrific examples only underscore the reality of what actually happens to millions and even billions of people that have been misled and also underscores, “the down side of human nature,” when everything gets out of control.
Did America get it’s Intel right with Iraq? Did America get multiple tier lending right? Did America get torture rigt? Did America get Global Warming right? Is the earth flat? Did we evolve? ARE YOU SURE?????? Did the AMA get it right with women’s estrogen prescriptions and the “pill” that’s now proving to cause ovarian and breast cancer decades later? Did we get any of this right? ARE YOU SURE, or should we now consider the historical answer of hind sight and history books that warn about the many blunders, pitfalls and entrapments that civilizations repeat, over and over again, as a matter of the general rule and not the exception?
You can extend your peace of mind as things get worse by living in denial and climbing under the table and laughing, or you can have the guts to stand and face it head on and hopefully make the important decisions needed to stem the tide.
Please America, take your head out of the sand and get moving on this, because if you don’t you will end up living in a horror show, FOR REAL when it arrives right on schedule as a sign of the times in the form of, “the perfect storm.”
And the history books will read, “The Day America Fell,” no different than any other obituary as a matter of history, that does not seem to be of much concern, other than being another boring history lesson to be read by future generations, that will swear they too are immune.

I tend to agree with you about Beck. Most corporate media whores are bought and paid for, especially on CNN. He tends to tow the two party line, and some claim he very could be a shill for the CIA. Lou Dobbs is more credible than Beck. At least Dobbs talks to Alex now and then.

Beck has always annoyed me, but I could never put my finger on why. Like most people are saying, it seems like he is being molded by FOX into an Alex Jones clone. His subjects are enticing but he seems phoney and is trying to be funny. I think FOX and NWO are turning him into some kind of ranting quack that the sheeple will eventually turn away from him (at the same time they will turn away from the truth). Beck is very annoying because he doesn’t let his guests speak. He asks his guests a long convoluted question and before they can get two sentences out, he interrupts them with more of his sputtering,stuttering blather. I want to here the guest talk but he won’t let them finish. Then they cut to 10 minutes of commercials. It’s infuriating. I’d rather listen to AJ who is the real deal. He gives his guests lots of time to speak and they talk back an forth like they are in my living room having a real discussion. Re. the chemtrails to clarion: They do them here in Las Vegas almost daily. Their tictactoe smears across our once blue skies disgust me and the rainbow like auras around the sun are downright frightening. All I can say is whatever they are doing it is pure evil against the people. If they weren’t hiding their intentions then why don’t they come out and tell us what they are doing up their instead of denying it? I called every lamestream media outlet in town and they snickered and giggled when I told them to point their cameras up to the sky. You know this is a smart move on Fox’s part. Playing right into the minds of the general public’s fear that something isn’t right. They don’t know what but something.
And then with Beck’s personality fitting in nicely as a complete opposite to the usual discredited anchors rants provides a new light for viewers who may have been otherwise tuning out.
Very well scripted. Credit to Fox. Beck is a Ace up Murdoch’s sleeve.
Beck and the rest will lead the flock right up to the edge of the cliff for just long enough before pushing them over.
Why all the sudden is there this mainstream guy talking about Martial Law, Wiemar Republic inflation, now liking Ron Paul, and nearly everything else being trumpeted by the true alternative media? Look at the kind of stuff you see on this site and then think of your friends and family. If you want to wake them up and you start off by showing them this site, most of them are gonna think you wear a tin foil hat. I don’t agree with many things Glenn Beck says, but when you group together everyone in national television news he is closer to the truth than just about any of the rest. Go ahead and pick apart that last sentence and miss the point if you want, but if you really want to change things in this country you will need widespread support to get it done peacefully, and television is the largest medium. Your average person might actually have a chance to be awakened by a guy like Glenn, and then we can work on them from there. Some of us read Alex’s stuff and knew he was right about the ways of our PrisonPlanet and its evil wardens right away, but for most people there’s no blue or red pill to take in the real world. Glenn is like an introductory “purple” pill that can get your average person “hooked”, from there you can hook them up with a red one and maybe they won’t overdose. Truth is addictive, but like heroin, too much to the uninitiated can have fatal results. Even on my own site I tend to stay closer to the mainstream than Alex, i.e., I don’t talk about Michele Obama flashing satanic symbols on the cover of Vogue even though I saw it here the other day. I want my friends, family, and others to pass my stories around, talk the site up, and learn something important at the same time. At the very least, I want them to slow down and take a look because they find it informative and insightful, not because they perceive it to be the digital equivalent of a car crash.

I don’t know why faux just does not turn down the studio lights, and have the people shine flashlights up from under their chins as they each try to scare one another, and their viewers ? It is up to us to awake more people to what is going on, so when they do foul things up in this county they will at least know who to suspect first. I don’t look for widespread panic save for some type of cataclysmic event, which could cause panic like a katrina situation, and only in that area of the US. I think maybe years ago they may have been able to cause panic, but not today. Hell, today you could even turn this economy, and the worlds economy around on a dime if someone wanted to. We think inside the little box they give us, without looking at various ideas that could solve things right away. It would not require much effort, for we have the people, and the resources to do so. If say the economic engine was turned on full in this country, we would start the world back up again. It could be something as simple as saying every household in America, can order a new vehicle, along with building 4 or 5 refinerys in America to handle a variety of oil base products. Pumping as much new crude from the USA to support it. This would cause hiring in manufacturing to support the building of vehicles, and large refineries. This would restart the service industy in a hurry, and bring us up to full employment, as every thing would need more people. Of course, we would have to do like Fullford has suggested standing down our Defense Industry, and pulling back from around the globe. Also we would want to take the banking away from the Banksters, and put in total oversight of all that is going on there as well as our Defense establishment. Take the making of laws away from the govenment, and putting it into the hands of the people as well by direct methods via the Internet. We just don’t want to be baited down the road into destroying our country no matter how bad it gets, because it could be fixed today. We have to get rid of the crooks, and the killers that are running the worlds countries, and live in peace as humans usually do, unless they are agitated into violence by the people that profit from it. We have to do it on a block by block basis, and know we are not each others enemy, and to help those around us, while demanding big changes for this world. We can do it, and we must inform people around us what is going on, and for them to see this world for what it is, and for what it can, and should be.

I think alot of you guys are pissed that Glenn Beck is saying things he may or may not have found on this site because it might ruin your chances of feeling intellectually superior to your neighbors or machine-gunning them when the talk is over. God forbid we might actually get our government back without putting our loved ones at risk. I stand by my former statement when I say that a watered-down version of Alex’s talk on the networks is still better that the total bulls--- we hear everywhere else. Where else on the major networks have you heard a guy say that gold could go to 8 or 9 thousand, whatever it was. Where else have you heard talk of a possible revolution with cities turning into armed camps? Where else have you heard that what we are facing is way worse than what we have been hearing? Not CNN, MSNBC, etc. etc.. Is Glenn Beck gonna save the world? Of course not, but when he hints at something being wrong maybe your average couch slug will take the time to look around for the truth instead of having Keith Olberman tell them that everything is cool now that the messiah is in charge. I would venture to guess that most of these s----talking revolutionary types here have no idea what real combat is and would wet their little pants in a firefight. Go get laid. The folks that really have seen war don’t act that way, know it is to be avoided if possible, and won’t need your loudmouthed narrow little asses if it does go down. When I first came across an Alex Jones video back in 2002, I was shocked, dismayed, and extremely pissed, but I’m a red pill kind of guy. I considered several responses to my newfound knowledge, and wisely decided the lone gunman route wasn’t practical or effective. I made copies of 911, The Road to Tyranny and gave them to everyone I knew for Christmas. One cousin is now an infowarrior, and everyone else said I was nuts or didn’t say anything. Glenn Beck is for those people who can’t believe the government could be capable of such evil but know in their hearts that something stinks. Once they have that idea they’re more receptive to the idea that the government is more evil than they ever imagined.

The example comes to mind of how England attempted to re-conquer North America by instigating the first Civil War in the 1860’s. Who is to say that this could not be the case again?
Be honest with yourselves would the (supposed) New World Order want Americans to reconstitute their Government by peaceably having the States or the citizenry reassert themselves civilly in accordance with the provisions already provided by the Constitution? No, of course not.
So the only way to advert such a thing would be to incrementally set up the circumstance were Americans will turn on Americans and our society becomes fragmented and weak.
Has the thought not occurred to anyone that it seems imprudent for the Mainstream Press to, at this juncture in history, promote the notion of rebellion? Whether it’s Glenn Beck speaking of armed Militias, or AMC showing Civil War movies, etc., the IDEA OF CIVIL CONFICT is being intentionally generated into the POPULAR LEXICON!
Has not Obama been described as the new Lincoln by the media?
Then why would any person of sound judgment wish to indulge in such rhetoric themselves. This nation must not go down the path and make the same mistakes of our Forefathers, we must remain united. For it is in our unity that we maintain our strength.
