Glenn Beck cries all the time because he’s incapable of regulating his emotions. Also, it’s a good image. Here’s some deeply creepy and oddly transfixing behind-the-scenes video of Beck mugging and crying for the camera at his GQ photo shoot.

"He and his public relations people, at the shoot, said they love my work and had checked out my website," Greenberg told Gawker. "I believe they Googled me, like most of my subjects’ PR people do. He was super nice on set."
And if Beck knew who Greenberg was, then he almost certainly would have known that the crying bit he was so eager to play along with was a sly reference to End Times, her 2006 series of photos of crying toddlers, which she shot by giving kids candy and then taking it away from them. Beck called that "terrorizing children" last year.
"The crying was my idea, and Glenn was cool with trying it," Greenberg says. "We used mentholated balm to make his eyes tear up naturally. From then on it was acting on his part. He had fun with it and was a great sport."

Borderline personality disorder (BPD) is a psychiatric diagnosis in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-IV Personality Disorders 301.83)[1] that describes a prolonged disturbance of personality function characterized by depth and variability of moods.[2] The disorder typically involves unusual levels of instability in mood; “black and white” thinking, or “splitting”; chaotic and unstable interpersonal relationships, self-image, identity, and behavior; as well as a disturbance in the individual’s sense of self. While borderline personality disorder can manifest itself in children and teenagers, therapists are discouraged from diagnosing anyone before the age of 18, due to adolescence and a still-developing personality.
There are some instances when BPD can be evident and diagnosed before the age of 18. The DSM-IV states: “To diagnose a personality disorder in an individual under 18 years, the features must have been present for at least 1 year.” In other words, it is possible to diagnose borderline personality disorder in children and teens, but only if the symptoms have been present, continuously, for over a year.
There is some evidence that BPD diagnosed in adolescence is consistent in adulthood. It is possible that the diagnosis, if applicable, would be helpful in creating a more effective treatment plan for the child or teen

I’ve been searching for a specific documentary on psychiatry that I watched about a year or two ago. I haven’t been able to find it (wasn’t looking hard enough, though the specific documentary pops up in my mind every so often). I do remember that it was a pretty damn good documentary. It was partly about a psychiatrist’s own experiences after going undercover (posing as a patient) inside a mental institution.
He found that being honest with his doctors resulted in more medication and more time inside the institution. As long as he held onto his own beliefs, opinions and views about himself and the world the psychiatrists would continue to drug him and treat him like he was mentally defective. As soon as he started telling the doctors what they wanted to hear (agreed with them and their little psychiatric paradigm) his medication was reduced and they eventually released him from the institution. Overall it was a pretty frightening look into mainstream psychiatry.
Did you know that if two doctors (doesn’t matter what type of doctors) say you are a danger to yourself or others they can throw you into a mental institution against your will and it is considered completely legal? Your Constitutional rights pretty much disappear with the stroke of a pen. They can forceably drug you and detain you and there’s nothing you can do about it. You do have the “right” to a hearing within ten days of your abduction though. If you get lucky and are brought before a judge who hasn’t been completely corrupted by the system you might be allowed to leave. If you get a judge that plays the game you’ll be in for one nasty ride, you may never get out.

Actually, I would bet money that cleaning chemicals and psychotropic drugs are probably made from some similar ingredients. I felt bad after posting because being a janitor is a respectable job, unlike the pseudo scientific jackasses who are slaves to the philosophies and teachings of psychiatry. Don’t get me wrong, there is some truth to be found in psychology but they take it way beyond science and have turned it into a esoteric religion. If you don’t buy into their warped little paradigm you’re automatically considered mentally defective.
I took a very good friend of mine to the emergency room because of an accidental drug overdose and they kept my friend against his will. They questioned him while he was still very much under the influence of the drug (benzodiazepine). The doctors influenced his responses by asking trick questions regarding suicide. My buddy wasn’t suicidal at all, he just had an accident. It’s very easy to overdose on Xanex because of the common side effects that come along with taking it, primarily memory loss and some very weird aggressiveness. The doctors intentionally trapped him by asking trick questions. They then sent him over to a very expensive mental institution.
He spent four days in the mental institution and was rather lucky to get a doctor that wasn’t blind to the dangers and propaganda of psychiatry. The doctor actually told me that it was common for emergency room physicians to send them patients, regardless if the patient wasn’t a danger to themselves or anyone else. He called it “Hospital politics” I called it malpractice and profit sharing. That doctor didn’t disagree with me and he released my friend shortly after our discussion. I shy away from hospitals because of what I witnessed and won’t go to one unless it is a severe emergency.

You don’t really believe Beck was crying for real on his show (The key word is show) do you? I can sum up Glenn Beck really easy, and maybe I should qualify myself to you guys first. Glenn is a recovering Alcoholic like myself, and Alcoholics are supposed to live by a cred of “To thyne on self be true”. I found in my first couple of years in sobriety a statement like that ment to be as stingy and self absorbed as I was when I was drinking and f---ing up the world, a type of entitlement as it would be. Now, what separates Glenn Beck and me is that I finally found that I can’t mislead and lie to people to fill my sails, an altuistic life was really more in order. To the point where I could give a s--- less what people think, yet, I car more about thier well being. Glenn only seems to care about this vicious little game of pin-the-tail on the 911/Truther and bring down a cause that would seem to be an alturistic movement. Trust me, he talks about God and the rights of the Constitution but he is selling us for 20 pieces of Silver just for his selfish needs. Now don’t get me wrong, I love it when a person makes money like Rockerfeller. Only when the s--- hits the fan and he realizes what he is and what he stands against(the rightous). That might bring him crashing back to earth. He is an opposition, mainly to himself, to the movement but I have seen a many a man’s spiritual conscences get awoke when you least expect it. Trust in god, not false prophets like Beck.

Glenn Beck needs to make himself look like a human for PR reasons. He is actually a humanoid- Someone who looks human but is in fact incapable of ever being humane. He needs to look like a “normal guy” He acts like he’s just “one of us” and he’s “fighting for the little guy” when in fact he’s a multi millionaire. Rush Limbaugh made 54 million dollars in the last year. Bill o does it too. Apparently, Mancow is a real fake too. Mancow always talks about his beater car that he drives around–he has a chauffer and limo. Mancow and Beck fall into a category of “fake libertarians” to me. They proclaim that their libertarians but really everyone knows they’re neocon scum. Mancow was a huge supporter of Bush in 2000 and on alex jones’ show he couldn’t make up his mind about torture. Beck ridicules violent videogames–a social conservative position. Beck always talks about big government being the problem but he has no problem with our foreign policy. Dennis Miller may also fit into the category of fake libertarian. Maybe Bill Maher too.

Ok, so I am still kinda new to infowars but I’ve been listening to Beck for about a year now. My question for you all is this: Aside from him calling NWO revealers and 9/11 truth-seekers “right-wing nutjobs” what is your problem with Beck? I know that his show on exposing the truth about the FEMA camps was a complete JOKE (even I could see that), but is that the main reason you all don’t like him? I really like his 9-12 project and the way he is trying to get fellow Americans to educate themselves about our founding. His position on that is good, right? Right?!?

Some of you may not like this but I need to give you my perspective before we throw the baby out with the bathwater.
I’ve listen to Glenn Beck regularly for the past 5 years or so. I’ve seen him come from an entertainment junkie to someone who’s really started to wake-up. Did he make me angry when he calls 9/11 truthers and Ron Paul zealots like me a potential threat to the country? Yes, but I see something else. Those same sentiments came from our own lips to others like ourselves before we fully woke up. I still get it all the time from family, friends, religious leaders, neighbors as I’m sure you do. Paul before he was converted on the road to Damascus participated in the Death of an Apostle of the Lord and lead the charge in ousting Christians. But then the conversion, he became the lion of Christianity. He was deceived and had to wake-up. The bulk of the New Testament was written by him.
Glenn Beck is a good man and is 85% on track. His sacred cow is 9/11. He’s just not informed on the unconstitutionality of our over seas Empire-building because he is blinded by fear from that fateful day. He’s just like your brother, uncle, friends, religious leaders, local news people who haven’t woken up to that area yet. I can still remember gathering together at lunch with my friends talking about how justified this war was and how we were fighting for freedom and how we should just turn Iraq into “Glass” and take care of the problem. We should keep trying to inform him and give the man some slack. I personally gave him a copy of “Awakening to our Awful Situation” and “The Money Masters” He is not a CIA counter intelligence like some people think.
He’s done more to wake up more people then most people I know next to Ron Paul, The JBS, Alex Jones, Cleon Skousen, And Ezra Taft Benson. He has repeatedly promoted and expounded 1) The Federal Reserve is a Private Bank and needs done away with. 2) People should read Tragedy and Hope by Carol Quigley. 3) Abolish the IRS 4) Read the “Naked Capitalist” (a review of “Tragedy and Hope”) 5) Securing our boarders 6) Read the 5000 year leap 7) Read Common Sense.
Read the Constitution. 9) He is opening calling out the corrupt Congress etc, etc. 10) He preached about the coming collapse and has had repeated guests like Ron Paul, Peter Schiff on his program. 11)He has spoken highly about the John Birch Society 12) He has repeatedly had campaign for liberty members on his show and spoken highly of them.
What other “popular” main street commentator even comes close.
I’d like to see us pray for Glenn to wake up to the remaining truths, and to stop cursing him and thinking he’s a CIA operative. He’s not all knowing like anyone else. Deception fools the Very Best of us as you know from your own awakening. Yes, we should keep him in line when he goes overboard, but remember he’s moving the herds in the right direction. Join the 9/12 groups, your never find a more ripe field for harvesting converts. Bless them that curse you! God Bless Glenn Beck and may he wake up the rest of the way when it comes to Wars and nation building!

I run into this a lot when I show my friends evidence about 911. They just flat out refuse to look at it most times because its really hard for them to refute or argue against. When you come to the realization that there are forces in the world that seek to decieve and enslave you, the reality you know crumbles away, and thats a hard pill to swallow for most people.

I can’t believe how many people are upset at Glenn Beck. To be upset at hims shows that you trust the guy at the beginning. I myself am not upset at him but laughing at the people who listen to him. Did they not tell you that 99% of what you see on television is all BULLs---? So that would include the news as well. Now the same applies for the internet that 99% of what you see is bull s---. Having grown up in the same culture Ben Gleck (i.e. the one that runs B Y U which I cant seem to say w/o being censored) I can testify first hand to the prevalence of crocodile tears among that particular sect of society. I remember going to meetings on the 1st Sunday of every month and watching a bunch of blubbering lying idiots stand up and testify about some serious bulls--- all the while snottin’ and cryin’ like toddlers who snorted hot sauce through a coke straw.
