Actually, the land in question was the soverignty of the Ottoman Turks. After they lost WWI, soverignty passed to UK under League of Nations mandate. So the “Palestineans have never been the soverign rulers of the land.

Now while I feel for the Jewish people, how fare is it to have your homeland taken and given to another group of people. Of course if the roles were reversed, we would be discussing how fare it would be for the Islamic people to gain a homeland at the cost of the Jewish people.
