It has been widely announced that the Trans-Texas Corridor (TTC) is dead, as well as plans for a NAFTA Highway which many assured me never even existed in the first place. Unfortunately, these claims have been greatly exaggerated. In regards to the TTC/NAFTA Highway, the Security and Prosperity Partnership, and the North American Union agenda, we have won many battles, but we have not won the war. Deeper North American integration has been exposed on many different levels and has encountered fierce resistance. It is because of this that the globalists have had to somewhat retreat from their agenda. A move to re-negotiate NAFTA could be used as a way to revive and expand upon the agreement. In the midst of all this economic turmoil, more globalization is being offered as the solution to the crisis.
The announcement by the Texas Department of Transportation proclaiming the TTC dead was more of a public relations stunt. It was designed to try and silence critics and appease Texas lawmakers. Let’s be clear, the TTC is dead in name only and has been replaced with the Innovative Connectivity plan. By scaling back the project and breaking it up into smaller segments, it is less intimidating and could make it more difficult to stop in the future. If you don’t succeed try and try again. In the case of the TTC, give it a makeover, change the name and put out a press release saying that it is dead. The original concept of the TTC had a price tag of over $180 billion and called for 4.000 miles of roadways, toll roads and rail lines. Some have referred to it as the first leg of a NAFTA Superhighway that would extend from the Texas-Mexico border to the Oklahoma state line. In whatever form a NAFTA Highway transportation system takes, it would facilitate the flow of foreign goods and be the necessary infrastructure needed for a North American Union, thus further connecting the economies of Canada, the U.S., and Mexico.

Those who have exposed plans for a NAFTA Superhighway and a North American Union have been ridiculed, branded liars, fearmongers and conspiracy theorists by the corporate controlled media and the establishment. Yet, there has been a House resolution stating congressional opposition to the construction of a superhighway and entry into a North American Union. Many states have also passed similar legislation. During the CNN/You Tube Republican Presidential debates, Ron Paul was asked if he believed in the North American Union conspiracy. Paul did acknowledge that there was a move towards a NAU and a NAFTA Superhighway. He referred to it as a conspiracy of ideas, an ideological battle with some believing in national sovereignty and others globalism.
President-elect Barack Obama recently met with Mexican President Felipe Calderon where he expressed a continued commitment to upgrade NAFTA. Many believe that this proves he will carry through on promises to renegotiate the agreement. It is interesting that the word upgrade was used as opposed to renegotiate. Calderon has publicly stated on many occasions that he is against changes to NAFTA, but more recently he said that he is open to reviewing environmental and labour provisions. He could use his desire for U.S. immigration reform as a bargaining tool to agree to such modifications. At the height of the NAFTA bashing during the Democratic Presidential campaign, Canadian officials threatened to put oil back on the table if the agreement was reopened, along with a list of other concessions. With Obama set to visit Canada after his inauguration, Prime Minister Stephen Harper said that he doubts the new president will question the agreement in any fundamental way. NAFTA is so badly flawed and minus a few cosmetic changes that might be made, the reality is that it will remain intact. There are also fears that the agreement could be expanded which might lead to a renewed push for North American integration.
Many are under the illusion that somehow Obama and the Democrats are going to save the American people and even the world. It is becoming increasingly clear that just like Bush, Obama has no intentions of protecting American sovereignty. Globalization has meant sacrificing self-sufficiency, sovereignty and independence for foreign dependency which can only lead to economic enslavement. Obama, like many past presidents, is nothing more then a puppet, a front man controlled by special interest groups, foreign banks and corporate powers who are pushing globalization and world government.
It is important that we remain vigilant and conscious of tactics used against us, word semantics and propaganda designed to lull us into a false sense of security. Construction of a NAFTA Highway could become a sort of make work project that employs millions, if jobless rates continue to climb and the current economic crisis worsens. Such an undertaking could be financed by foreign banks and corporations who are increasingly gobbling up much of North America’s key infrastructure and who ultimately control our economic future. A recent report released by the Pentagon warns that globalization and urbanization will further fuel social unrest in Mexico. Political, economic and social instability could be used to usher in a North American Union. We have a short window of opportunity to really turn things around and only an informed educated public will be able to defeat the New World Order.

This highway has been under construction for years. I remember passing it on the us side after returning to the US from mexico. It was called “Columbia One Toll road” (if my memory is correct) There were on ramps and a large bridge passed right over into mexico with toll boths and everything. massive construction.
Not a single vehicle was ever on it (I passed that way many times over the years since 2001). I often thought about trying to get on the entrance ramp to avoid traffic, but the thought made hairs stand up on the back of my neck and instinct prevailed,; I never attempted to navigate the “Toll”

I was home to bury another brother last summer and was shocked and sickened what I had seen done to my state (Texas). Seems to me the Texas has let all the Yankee Carpet Baggers move in and take everything over. Response to Yipee (63) My first thought when I saw your user name is to remember “Yippie Hollow” and the days back when life was fun around Austin, the was a feeling of Extended Family” and even the “State Troopers” had a parental air about them Vs the thug air the State Trooper who initially was going to write me a ticket down on 6th St because I had out of state plates…we still have a family attorney who takes care of such and basically this “Authoritarian Character” realized I was from the side of the tracks that still run things. Point in fact.it is many of my family who are the most wealthy in the state and are who have coddled the Bush family. Yes,there are still havens and there are examples of still being treated right while I was home and when I was out in the small communities there was an immediate feeling of extended family..the kids I bumped into were of me and mine..the troopers I spoke with would not shut up wanting to talk about this or that..deer hunting…places to still get good BBQ and yes, I was very safe and never for a moment thought me and mine did not still own the right-of-way BUT there was a definite feeling that a large portion of the people in Austin and San Antonio and elsewhere were Non-Texan and I guess I am still a racist, Sexist, Bigot who thinks “Texas and Texan First”, God and Country Second and Third. My conclusion was that there are far far more Yankee Transplants and there children that born from the soil Texans and that is how Bush and people like him have gotten away with the crap they have pulled. Whatever the case, I no longer have faith in Taxas or the USA to overcome this mess without a lot of people dying and I intend my children and I survive it and so, I am leaving. New Zealand embraces wealthy,well educated types like me and mine, and so I am going to drag my children to watch this melting pot sort its own mess out. LINE IN THE SAND
To all, I say LOVE is the true power and that the OATH taken by so many is a pledge out of care for what is good and right in this land we call America!
I myself do not wish for a fight and that I have called, emailed, pleaded, challenged to all concerned of their Responsibility and DUTY to the Oath for which they have pledged, from Police, Politicians, Soldiers (I am a Armorer), friends, family and all that are in positions to make a positive effect. Still the ones that are in positions of power will not do THE RIGHT THING or even the job we elected them to, by protecting our sovereign rights as citizens of this land & by promise of their oath to office,leaving us citizens with the last resort to ever come closer.
I am just a man that loves his country and sadly I must now start preparing to defend this land I care so much about; not from some invading Foreign force but my very own ELECTED GOVERNMENT. This is a fight NONE of us should want but to all that have taken the Oath, REMEMBER this!!
Alot of good Men & Women have paid with their lives to keep this land free from the like’s of what we now face and remember that the Man or Woman standing next to you could very well hold true to the Oath that they have taken and so go ahead and commit acts of unconstitutional aggression against the citizens and you just might get a little surprise from the REAL MEN & WOMEN that serve our land and so to the one’s of honor, I SALUTE you and to the ones that dishonor their Oath, I pity you for when you hold your child, think about the world you are giving to that souls’ future and what you may soon be dying for, like I probably will, (at least my death will be with honor)!

We have had too much in the last 8 years to last a life time and here comes something even worse.
Even foreign leaders are commenting on the fact that this man is not from America. What a disgrace and a joke our country has become to the rest of the world.
I realize that this could cause racial wars but it has nothing to do with color and everything to do with legality.
My ancestors were here long before the white man came to this country. My husband’s also.
My husband has posted here several times today and yet his comments were pulled and all he quoted was the truth.
We are members and want the truth to get out. We want the constitution upheld.
The Cherokees had their own constitution and our own was in large part based on theirs. My ancestors sat as representatives in the house in Texas.

We have our own family that is brimming with contradictions to what is taught about American History in our schools. This Nation needs more big highways like the NAFTA highway. It would benefit many many more people than it would inconvenience. This is a major artery. ANYTIME a road, highway, power line, gas line, water reservoir, or airport expands it’s right-of-way, people lose land to it NATIONWIDE everyday. Most of the time it’s a lot more than just farmland!
Everyone, get this FACT through your skull: if you live near vital infrastructure which serves MANY MORE PEOPLE THAN JUST YOU, you just might have to move or sell! Do we want to go back to dirt roads!!??
