Google thought Michael Jackson traffic was attack

Google has confirmed that the surge of Michael Jackson-related searches on Google News Thursday was first interpreted as an attack on its service.

Of course, those queries were quite legitimate, as millions around the world searched for accurate information regarding Jackson following reports that he had suffered cardiac arrest. The spike in queries began at about 2:45 p.m. PDT Thursday, and Google thought the traffic was an attack for about 25 minutes before realizing what was going on.
Google also noted that it saw a huge spike in mobile searches. Yahoo’s data backed up Google’s; it set a record for unique visitors in a single day with 16.4 million visitors, and its lead story on Jackson’s death was the most highly-visited story in its history.

In the last years of his life, he looked dead, now he is. I doubt if they had to do too much to his corpse to make him look real. By the way, several years ago, I was watching the Simpsons, and they were saying that MJ had a special video on after the show. I called my daughter in , who was very young, but a fan, to watch it. Well, the video was OK, had people morphing into each other, and love-messages etc. I thought ” that’s a good message – tolerance, brotherhood of man etc”. Next came a video of him in an alley, (done in black and white),just him, an old car, and a sledge-hammer. He proceded to grab his crotch, unzip and zip up his fly, while making animal noises. He then proceded to bash the car wiht the sledge-hammer. I thought “What the F***!? This was supposed to be a kid’s video and here’s this clown acting like a complete idiot”. That’s when I realized there was something very wrong with this guy, to send such mixed messages to children. I’m glad the bastard is gone, and to the people that made him into what he became – Fuck you!!!

I’m not suprised at all. A survey in 1997 declared Michael Jackson the most famous person in world even ahead of the Pope and President Bill Clinton.
This is because Michael Jackson made wonderful music with great messages and had an intriguing but sad personal life. I think he was a very, very nice shy guy who was a bit weird, in a good way though. In a way, his wierdness was accompanied and matched by the creativity, incredible music talent and nack for perfection which made up the global superstar, Michael Jackson. The fact that he wasn’t normal was his strength and key to unmatched worldwide fame.
The question that begs is – how much more famous can the infamous Michael Jackson get? Everybody knows that when you die you become much more famous, so what about the one and only MJ?

I’m not really a fan of Michael Jackson (Except maybe the song “Beat it” because Eddie Van Halen plays a guitar solo in it!) But I feel like putting in my two cents worth. There was a time when I hated the guy because of all the accusations against him of being a pedophile and whatnot, but then I started to think differently. Michael was never proven guilty of any of these crimes. Yeah, sure… the justice system is a piece of shit and all, but I’m starting to suspect it was about money. With a guy as stinking rich as him, there will always be people trying to blackmail and extort money from him.
Yeah, he was a bit strange, but let’s just suppose that he really loved children in the kind-hearted, non pedophile way. This creates a dangerous situation for someone of his fame and social standing (not to mention age). Wouldn’t it be perfect for some twisted parents to send their kids over to neverland ranch with the sole purpose of later accusing MJ of child molestation and getting a large sum of monies out of it?
I’m not saying that I’m right, but this course of events was very possible at least. If all of this did happen the way I said, then I wouldn’t be surprised that the stress of all of this is what killed him. This guy used to be at the top of the world and he lost everything! He lost his money, friends, his home, his reputation and probably his mind! It would have been very hard on him to be this person that’s talked about all over the world, being accused of shit he didn’t do by everyone!

I’m just going by what I know, and I know that no court has ever had sufficient evidence to convict the guy. It was probably about the money… it’s always about fucking money… I’m so tired of it. Anyone who is a child star has some emotional problems, and this guy was the king of pop, so he is the number one child star. They try and twist his expressions of love to make it a sick pedophile case.
Think about this, when someone is always using the race card, it seems like they are the racist, not the people who are being accused. And same goes with this. If someone is constantly accusing someone else of pedophile, especially the parents of their own children, I think its the accusers and not the accused that are sick. That woman who burned herself with coffee was in her nineties and Mcdonalds had a cover up of their own. They realized their entire shipment of coffee was rancid. So they super heated the coffee up to microwave temperatures to hide the flavor instead throwing it out. That woman had sever burnes and needed plastic surgery on her privates. Mcdonalds had the clout to make fun of her to cover up the coffee fiasco. Noticed right after that, they switched to Seattles best coffee, with all the trimmings?????????? Thank YOU for the compliment. Today must be my lucky day. I did not realize that I still was able to turn so many heads of men in my direction to send me back such “roses” of confidence I seem to have given them. Some of which have been from here and that really means a lot to me because it has nothing to do with what I look like. Sometimes a gal getting a compliment back that is not spurred on because of her curves means a lot to her.
As with you, here I do not expect to get compliments. Also, being that I am not being seen for my body, saying anything in agreement with you about Michael Jackson seemed to me to be red flag waving for an attack. For that matter, even from you since people have done to me just like Alex Jones complains about and have twisted what I have said even if I only complimented the person.
Anyway, I am glad that I was able to make your heart feel good. That is what you did for Michael Jackson expressing yourself in such a way that at the same time your attitude was able to be told that you were not backing him up just because you were a Michael Jacksonite, if you know what I mean. That is how people under many circumstances should be seen as.
As far as your “Warriors of the Light” is concerned, I just noticed that. Interesting all the more. One of the guys who just wrote me with words of kindness just like you had just written a story of us warrior women where peace and love can never really be found, yet always sought after. I can only dream now and watch from afar where I bathe in the sun from Paradise Island where I have hung up my Justice League uniform. Even so, I watch from afar and dream that someday what is holding me back, these metaphoric shackles, will be released and I will once again be able to don my helmet and shield and other body armor and join in the battle directly where the lust to taste the blood of the evil enemy once again crosses my sword. The field of dust is in my future, but out of that, there will be vines of grapes and olives aplenty……..
You see, I understand Michael Jackson better than most anyone here for personal reasons. I tend to feel sorry for those who will never be able to experience his personal battles that he was going through also. That is why when you made such blessed comments about him telling it like it is/was, I took notice. Again, I recognized that you were not for him based on the fact that you were/are just a stone hard fanatic over him. So you are special in that respect.
Some day we might meet on the battle field. Now I must go and meet my Amazon sisters as they are returning and hear their stories of the battles and clashes they just ventured through. Saying Michael Jackson was never proven guilty means he wasn’t is like saying OJ Simpson wasn’t guilty because they didn’t convict him. There are innocent people in prison the same as there are guilty people who are free. The justice system is screwed and has been for a long time. Like it or not people, OJ and Michael were both guilty and both should have died in prison. It is unfortunate that we have so many petty non violent drug users in prison but can’t seem to catch these rich demented freaks.
The sad part is that the people who are all crying over Jackson are the same people that will keep things the way they are and ensure that the next freak for America to ogle at is just around the corner.

I heard that radio show and although he ranted on about him, I did not hear him say that. That being said, Michael Jackson never said anything near that.
Talk about the jealousy most people have of the Rich and Famous. It used to be envy and rightfully so. Overlaying our lives today over the culture of yesteryear is not a good thing. Hollywood was something special. Now all you hear are the average people bashing it. That story about the baby is a good example. Since you are here, then I will start off by saying that I cannot reply to you under your direct comment because you only get a certain amount of replies under previous replies and then you have to either start a new comment/thread or do what I have just done, that is backing up and replying under an earlier comment of yours. You can do that as many times as you want as long as it is under the same original comment.
Now, I do not like talking about Alex Jones out here. Usually if I say something in his defense, it presents a problem of the sort that I will not elaborate on. I also do not like bashing Alex because of all the good things he does. He has this forum, for instance, for us to talk about on-topic, even off-topic subjects, as well himself. Even so, I will attempt to get this out.
You are correct, Alex is a bullshit artist, but you say it more precise when you say he is a master of word play and hype. If we let it go to there, then I say….”So what?” Do you want to hear nothing but a drone speaking all the time? Does the fact that someone knows how to get his/her particular audience’s attention make it wrong? I have gone on stage and showed my body to people. I knew what attracted my audience and it worked. Alex Jones doing the same thing? You have got to be kidding. The same goes for his hype while up on my stage in front of my audience. It just would not work and I would not get far just showing off my body to the people here to get the point out that Alex is working on. People are here for his style, not for a bathing suit girl with big boobs (hehe). Do you understand?
As far as the money he received is concerned, well, maybe he should use some of that money for the reason you suggest. At least I will give you credit also as I did about your Michael Jackson “threatening to drop him” statement because you do not claim that the money he got was really much. Look how much Obama got at any one time and that is immediately put into a better persepective for others. Therefore you are capable of seeing things poperly. Therefore I will have to re-listen to Friday’s show and listen to see if Alex really said that. I hope not since Michael Jackson was ACCUSED by many others as attempting to do that, but never did. I hope this is not what the people thought of my counterpart Farrah Fawcett Majors. My hair is like hers. It is not for me to really say anything on the Michael Jackson “controversy”. A more personal incident is the passing of Farrah Fawcett Majors (or just Farrah Fawcett). Farrah indirectly made me somewhat successful. Farrah, I understood. Farrah I knew better than Michael. At least I am glad that her passing also shut down the MSN website on and off. At least those looking up Farrah shut that down. That made my heart feel good. As I said, indirectly, she gave me a gift that helped make me successful and so her passing is much more personal to me and yet I hear nothing of her now after the day afterwards. Although I understand the life of Michael Jackson better than most here, I tend to say that there appears to be too much hype as though what Alex Jones says as being true….that it is being deliberately done by the major media to distract from something else.
Otherwise I want to hear about Farrah Fawcett! Thank you.

I follow Infowars and Alex’s show closely and really appreciate these services in the fight against New world Order machinations. But I feel like Alex was overly harsh with Michael Jackson, the man. I understand that the sideshow is a gross distraction and there is justifiable outrage there, but Jackson wasn’t convicted of molestation, he’s clearly not a power elite, is overall a sad case, and he brought joy and entertainment to millions. People are sad that one of their favorite entertainers is dead. It doesn’t seem fair to malign his character and shout insults when there’s no proof of his wrongdoing, it does seem fair to vehemently criticize the media for overly focussing on his death while huge bills like Cap and Trade are rammed through.

I loved MJ back in the day but when he bought the remains of the elephant man, the rights to the Beatles music and then deformed himself with so much plastic surgery I had to stop likeing the dude.
