“cap and trade” has been a subject in resource economic books for 40 years. Basically, it penalizes heavy polluters and rewards clean factories. Clean factories can trade their pollution quotas to dirty factories for money.

Eventually, most companies would realize that it would be cheaper to build a clean factory than pay pollution taxes in the long run.

Cap and Trade has to be global. Otherwise factories will simply move to a country that doesn’t care about pollution.

Coal powerplants will probably be hardest hit. America is largely powered by coal. Hence the fear of higher utility prices.

Buy stock in Sasol, they have technology to convert coal into a cleaner, liquid fuel. Believe it or not, this technology was developed by the Nazis.

Worst thing about cap and trade is that Goldman will have their hands in this. They are nothing but crooks. Unfortunately, that is reason enough to sink this program.

I saw the video about the 10-in-one vitamin thing on this web site. I am ordering it because its on Alex Jones site and it sounds good. Has anyone been taking it? Any feed back on it. I ordered it cause it said if your not satisfied you can return the empty bottle and get your money back. I know i don’t get the vitamins i need everyday and i will take a shot every morning of that stuff if it gives me what i need 20 bucks a day. Not much for good health. Any feed back would be helpful, is it really worth buying and taking everyday?

The environmentalists have been misled. People who genuinely care about the environment have been mislead with bad information from Al Gore (similar to Madoff misleading investors) and the U.N. My generation has been brainwashed to laugh at anyone who questions global warming. Seriously, I’ve been laughed at. But the joke is on them. Because they don’t research for themselves they have overlooked the REAL issues, like pharmaceutical meds in the drinking supply, nuclear waste being illegally disposed of, the plastic vortex in the pacific, and so on.
