The other day, Al Gore called for “civil disobedience” (read that, violence) against the building of new coal-fired power plants. We tend to dismiss it as Gore being his usual nutcase self.
However, we have to recognize the method in the madness. First, Gore is partnered with some large investment funds that are putting money into “alternative energy.” Second, with Congress nationalizing the entire finance sector, we will see political investing that will push money into these new “alternative energy” projects, with tax-paid subsidies becoming the source of profit, since in a free market, these “investments” would be money-losers.
But, by also advocating violence (and lawsuits, no doubt) to shut down the building of power plants that would directly compete with Gore’s projects, Gore is simply trying to raise the cost his rivals would face. In other words, listen to Al; do violence; make Al richer. This is what the ancients once called a “scam.”

I agree that anything coming out of Al Gore’s mouth is part of a scam. However, calling for “civil disobedience” is not necessarily advocating violence. Ron Paul has used those exact words, yet he wasn’t calling for, or advocating, violence. Please don’t distort facts to steer opinion. People come here to get away from that. Facts only please.

I think what comes out of Al Gore’s mouth in terms of disinformation and lies is proportional to massive amount of weight he has gained. He wants to be Mr. Authoritay concerning “Global Warming” so he thinks he can up his gravitas by calling for violence against coal plants. China is building a new coal fired plant every week. Has anyone heard of him calling on the Chinese people to rise up in violence over the incredible construction rates of Coal Plants? No. Gore is a fat fraud.

I think the writer of this article had a little mixup… “Civil disobedience is the active refusal to obey certain laws, demands and commands of a government, or of an occupying power, without resorting to physical violence. It is one of the primary tactics of nonviolent resistance.”
Anyways, I think Gore has good intentions for the planet, of course since politics is all he really knows he thinks that the environmental problem can be solved politically (which is impossible). If Gore really wanted us to be respectful of the environment and live in balance with it, he’d recognize we need a whole new political/economic paradigm. It’s simply not built into our system to regard the planet with any respect… When the economy finally does collapse the NWO ultimately fails, that will be our only chance to recognize the inherent worth of the planet and rebuild that into our economic systems, not by the decree of a central authority, but of our own free will.
September 27th, 2008 at 1:56 pm
I beleive the writer has had mental writing block and simply stated it incorrectly.
Like many times ive made a point and accidently put would instead of wouldnt.
The point of his connections however remain.
September 27th, 2008 at 2:34 pm
#5 Gore is connected to the groups mentioned in the article, he is a high ranking politico, he has been caught propagandising global warming.
As you americans say, go ****ing figure
September 27th, 2008 at 3:01 pm
Gore wants people to get violent so his butt-buddies (Bush, Obama, McCain) can sic the militarized police on them and then on us because we “fit the profile”. Gore is an enemy of coal because he’s an oil baron himself (Occidental Petroleum). Just as the “Fairness” Doctrine is meant to be used to solidify the corporate media monopoly by silencing alternative media sources, the fake climate change crisis is an invention of the oil companies meant to solidify their corporate monopolies by extinguishing alternative energy sources. If I were to go out and invent a car powered by nothing but solar energy, I would be bullied into selling my technology secrets to the oil corporations who would then bury the technology because solar energy would compete with their interests.

For reasons of privacy I generally do not post my email exchanges in forums that cover the globe. However, this exchange was as accurate as it was humorous. It is one of my back and forths with the founder THE WEATHER CHANNEL, John Coleman after I had met him so it may seem a little personal but revealing. I will cut the redaction down to the minimum.

I wonder what the waist size is now. He gives you grief, a headache and to his tailor. All that Al did was brush off his whole set of “estimates” from the late 80’s. Let’s see… now we have Weather Fraud. I never bothered to see his stupid movie. Let him go sit up in Montreal on Sherbrooke for a week and see the snow. LCD lamps for others and go green, meanwhile he would barely fit into my BMW. However, he did make a ton of cash………… I am totally nonplussed. He made a fool of DiCaprio. Well excuse me Al Gore, Mr. Weather geekoid but I think I’ll go play Marvin Gaye’s “What’s going on?” for a half hour.
Sincere kudos for putting the push on Al Gore. As a Christian, I found his points of view totally berserk and nothing but a hoodwink.
Regards from Palm Beach.

Everybody should ask how some crazy people get into the news… well they are puppet of the owners of the channel or newspapper. Its the same reason why you will not be in the news if your smart.

Infowars and all readers should find this of great interest. I am sure a percent of people remember how the MI5 infiltrated BBC went out of its way to produce a major disinformation piece on the demolition of WTC 7 quite a while before the laughable NIST final report (Thermal expansion))))))))))
BBC investigated after peer says climate change programme was biased ‘one-sided polemic’
By Tamara Cohen
Last updated at 2:54 AM on 27th September 2008
‘Potty peer’: Lord Monckton said his sceptical views were misrepresented
The BBC is being investigated by television watchdogs after a leading climate change sceptic claimed his views were deliberately misrepresented.
Lord Monckton, a former adviser to Margaret Thatcher, says he was made to look like a ‘potty peer’ on a TV programme that ‘was a one-sided polemic for the new religion of global warming’.
Earth: The Climate Wars, which was broadcast on BBC 2, was billed as a definitive guide to the history of global warming, including arguments for and against.
During the series, Dr Iain Stewart, a geologist, interviewed leading climate change sceptics, including Lord Monckton. But the peer complained to Ofcom that the broadcast had been unfairly edited.
‘I very much hope Ofcom will do something about this,’ he said yesterday.
‘The BBC very gravely misrepresented me and several others, as well as the science behind our argument. It is a breach of its code of conduct.
‘I was interviewed for 90 minutes and all my views were backed up by sound scientific data, but this was all omitted. They made it sound as if these were just my personal views, as if I was some potty peer. It was caddish of them.’
Ofcom confirmed it was looking into a ‘fairness complaint’ about the documentary.
A BBC spokesman said: ‘We stand by the programme.’
Lord Monckton, 56, a former journalist and Cambridge graduate, says scientific data shows the world is cooler today than in the Middle Ages.
He appeared alongside other sceptics including distinguished Florida-based meteorologist Professor Fred Singer, John Christy, a climate change expert and adviser to the U.S. government and the climatologist Dr Patrick Michaels, of the University of Virginia.
All their interviews, he claims, were heavily cut so that they appeared as personal views.
‘We do not dispute that there is more carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, but we do dispute its effects’, he said. ‘The data shows that 2008 is the same temperature as 1980 and that the effects of these changes in the atmosphere are not negative but more likely to be beneficial.’
Lord Monckton played a key role in a legal challenge heard in the High Court in October 2007 in an effort to prevent Al Gore’s film on global warming, An Inconvenient Truth, from being shown in English schools.
September 27th, 2008 at 4:55 pm
Well since “global Warming” fell through for Gore, they had to give him a new Podium to stand on. He still uses alternative energy as his basis which we know is nothing more than a rich man pushing for ways to make more money. I Think they call this Monopolizing? I wonder, is this still legal to do today? When they get done with it, they manipulate it till they make it legal for themselves or in this case, for Al Gore!

What are you saying # 12? You present no evidence of misbehavior, so is your goal to let us know that you know someone who knows someone ? A shallow post and of no benefit to those of us who are concerned.
September 27th, 2008 at 6:19 pm
Further to Toad’s item 14,
The sheer blatant propaganda in the BBC programme on global warming took one’s breath away. Goebbels would have approved!.
By comparison the piece on wtc7 was fair and balanced, in that the opposing view got a little air time and at least got some points across. This latest hatchet job is the sort of toadying supine journalism that gets toadying supine journalism a bad name!
By the way, I happen to know the “Potty peer” Lord Monckton and have found him markedly sane. And he’s right about global warming too.

Isn’t Gore the one that’s promoting the Global Enflation Tax(GET), in an attempt to prevent the melting down of our gold reserves?
The ice cores prove there were traces of gold minerals in the ancient core samples and practically none in samples collected since the arrival of Neoconman. This can only mean they will have to melt the gold reserves and pass a global GET tax to save our economy.
Go GET em Al.
September 27th, 2008 at 6:45 pm
Hey – everybody knows that Al Gore is the ONLY man who can save us from the ravaging “man-bear-pig”!…Besides, he DID invent the internet…did’nt he??…
September 27th, 2008 at 7:02 pm
The whole “clean, green energy” thing is a scam to destroy America’s already crippled production and industrial sectors. What energy we do have in the US (coal, natural gas) is being scapegoated into oblivion so that America will be completely dependent.
Obama has already proposed a TAX on coal and natural gas. Crippling those of lower incomes who rely on Mining jobs and cheap power and heat.
September 27th, 2008 at 8:32 pm
Al Gore: I am so sick of the Earth heading up an average of 10 degrees a day! It’s everyone’s fault but my own! You guys are freaking idiots! I am being serial! What? You guys aren’t taking me serially? You need to be more conscious of the enviornment or global warming will continue! I have a great idea….you all ears? I am super-serial! We need to have 8 concerts around the world to fight global warming! Isn’t that a great idea? Only us rich people will be able to fly to Beijing, Sydney, Rio and whateverthehellelse, but that’s okay. We will leave immediately and fly in our private charter planes. We are going to stick it to global warming this way!
September 27th, 2008 at 8:34 pm
guys cmon. first off, i have listened to alex for some time, and while i agree with alot of what he says, and shows us, i disagree with the conspiracy of global warming. I see conspiracies all the time, all over the place, but one thing i do not see is a conspiracy by mother nature.
here in colorado, our pine tree’s are threatened. in less than 20 years colorado will have literally no pine tree’s. there is a beetle that kills pines here in colorado. the beetle is from canada. because of the warming winters the beetle has been able to migrate down into colorado.
now if people have helped the planet warm up there is still room to argue that.
now if al gore would loose money or not, i really do not care.
September 27th, 2008 at 10:00 pm
in the 70’s they talked about a “global cooling”.
there’s no such thing as global warming; however, our quality of life is going down because of our foolish actions.
mother nature has a way of balancing thing out and the government’s interference with that is clearly affecting us.
September 27th, 2008 at 10:01 pm
oh yeah, and so far 2008 has been a much cooler year compared to the last few.
September 27th, 2008 at 10:22 pm
The problem with man made global warming there is no proof. Now here is where people get lost, there is a differents between man made and just global warming. Now the 2 get mixed up and put under the same banner. I am on side with Global warming but i do not think it is man made. The planet changes all the time and because 10 years of warm summers and winter we think the dooms day is coming. When the planet go’s though changes its hundreds and thousands of years… Not just the short time we look at it. Yes the planet was getting warming but it has been 6 deg warming before the was no ice and the world was coverd with trees. No to many people know that? Now all the facts now point to a global cooling. And we are getting told its man made as well. Lie = money. Al Gore makes millions of what he pushes and alot of people have jobs trying to prove we are doing global warming, and in 10 years nothing in the way of hard fact’s or proof has come out, and really it should have, because if they did everyone would be on board. Now ask yourself if there was like HARD proof we where to blame why has it never come out? stuff dose come out time to time but it never stands up when people look at the facts.

“Obama has already proposed a TAX on coal and natural gas. Crippling those of lower incomes who rely on Mining jobs and cheap power and heat.”
And yet idiot West Virginians will vote for him in droves. The same idiot West Virginians who elected an oil tycoon to become their governor in 1976 (Jay Rockefeller) who waged war against the coal mines as soon as he came into office and continued to do so for the whole 8 years he was governor. So I say to West Virginians “go ahead and vote for Uncle Tom Obama who will ruin your already-shitty economy down to even shittier levels; go ahead and vote for Anne Barth instead of Shelley Moore Capito, just let it be known that not only are the winners pre-selected, Barth’s ‘Change’ is the same as Obama’s ‘Change’ which is more of the same Republicrat police-state Amerikan Empire; enjoy your tyranny, scum”.

On the topic of global warming you have to know your history. Yes man made and natural global warming are two compleatly seperate things. Personaly i side with Gore. But you have to also remember that the reason for the middle ages was a global cooling. Forcing the crops that were relied upon failed. And we adjusted. could the planet just be warming back up? This being excelerated by humans. Just some food for thought.
September 28th, 2008 at 12:44 am

Encourage them not to join the military period!!! Let the politicians fight the wars that are stealing our money now!!!
September 28th, 2008 at 2:45 am
Blah..blah….blah. Thats all they can do. I would have loved to see Mr. Gore with American flag in one hand and the constition in another, standing in front of congress and asking congress not to pass the bill and shut down fed.
September 28th, 2008 at 3:44 am
If that was you or me, we would be in prison for inciting civil unrest.
September 28th, 2008 at 3:52 am
Civil disobediance was started by the civil rights movement in the 50s and 60s as a NON-violent form of protest. Where are getting these implications of violence?
September 28th, 2008 at 8:49 am
yea since when is civil disobedience equal to violence.
September 28th, 2008 at 9:17 am
700 Billion to Bailout Wall Street + 612,000 million-dollar Pentagon check= 1,000,312,000,000 Trillion USA Dollars. Shit that is a lot of trees that has to be cut down to make paper money and millions of litres of Ink will be needed to print all that money. The Global Warming will be here sooner than Al Gore and the Scientist are predicting. This Planet Earth Is Fuck.
September 28th, 2008 at 9:48 am
The very definition of Civil-Disobedience completely opposes violence…
September 28th, 2008 at 10:23 am
I wounder what gore’s carbon foot print is from opening his lie telling fat mouth. Stick your head up you ass and fart Gore.
September 28th, 2008 at 11:56 am
Gore should be reprimanded for inciting violence
September 28th, 2008 at 12:03 pm
I’m all FOR subsidizing alternative energy.
Bill Anderson forgets to mention the millions killed for oil.
Does he get paid by GE for promoting coal?
The NERVE to equate civil disobedience with violence.
What a moron. Why is this HORRIBLE article featured here?
September 28th, 2008 at 12:33 pm
One more thing.
This type of ludicrous BS is exactly why I won’t link to this site. When I see a cool youTube video posted with an article here, I link directly to youTube.
There’s LOTS of good stuff here, but then there’s this BS I won’t subject my readers to. I hurts my credibility.
And it sure makes me wonder about the many other absurd claims I hear on the radio show. Are they as well “documented” as Gore’s “violence?”
September 28th, 2008 at 12:50 pm
If I had money I would be invested in alternative energy too. I like Al Gore. If you haven’t noticed he is not very popular with the oil community that put Bush in power in 2000. I would readily accept Gore as a healthy alternative to American leadership. Condemning Gore or calling him a nutcase does hurt the credibility of this website because Gore did not only stand for change when he was V.P., but he did change alot of things for the better. Go back and do your homework and compare Bush ’s presidency to Al Gores vice Presidency and you will see Gore did best and is proven. I think you will find that it was Lieberman who is not to be trusted and I believe Gore realizes that now.
September 28th, 2008 at 12:51 pm
Why won’t my posts show up?
September 28th, 2008 at 12:54 pm
Id rather take Gores leadership than some of the arrogant young punks that post here that want anarchy and stupidity. How far will your rag tag bunch of hillbillies get on a couple of shotguns? Ever see that movie Southern Comfort? Yeah thats what it would be like if civil war erupted. No thanks.
September 28th, 2008 at 2:25 pm
Yea, it’s still a scam, I don’t care what the GoreLovers say.
September 28th, 2008 at 2:27 pm
Al Gore insists the world must embrace a “carbon-neutral lifestyle” and make necessary sacrifices to head off what he warns will be an environmental cataclysm – but in his personal life he doesn’t practice what he preaches.
“Humanity is sitting on a ticking time bomb,” warns the Web site for his global warming documentary, “An Inconvenient Truth.” “We have just 10 years to avert a major catastrophe that could send our entire planet into a tailspin.”
Gore tells consumers how to change their lives to curb their carbon-gobbling ways: Switch to compact fluorescent light bulbs, use a clothesline, drive a hybrid, use renewable energy, dramatically cut back on consumption.
But “public records reveal that as Gore lectures Americans on excessive consumption, he and his wife Tipper live in two properties: a 10,000-square-foot, 20-room, eight-bathroom home in Nashville, and a 4,000-square-foot home in Arlington, Va. He also has a third home in Carthage, Tenn.,” Peter Schweizer, author of the book Do As I Say (Not As I Do): Profiles in Liberal Hypocrisy,” writes in USA Today.
“For someone rallying the planet to pursue a path of extreme personal sacrifice, Gore requires little from himself.”
yes dave… a fine leader is his mind and yours.

Ok Zach so your answer is to just keep doing what? Being inefficient? Pollute every damn thing you can before you die because its your god given right? His message is sound. We should and can convert to a cleaner way of life, not because Al Gore say’s so, but because the technology is there to do it and its better for our environment. Guess what Zach, the oxygen count in parts per million isnt what it used to be. Its getting lower. I never worried about bad ozone days when I was a kid but you do now. What did you think was going to happen to our atmosphere over the last 200 years of industrialization? When I took a plane flight back in 2003 I noticed a brown-orange ring above the cloud line I never seen that before when I flew. I myself have seen weather patterns change over 38years for the worse. You can crucify the messenger for being human but you cant deny that humanity lives inefficiently, destroys what it can in its endless desire to consume resources.
I do believe if Gore was made President he would have made changes to our utilities that we could all afford to change together. Cleaner air rules…man thats pennies on the dollar to do. Humans with a conscience try to do more than those that dont care. It seems that when anyone dares to talk about living greener and simpler then its a big conspiracy…Im sure the oil companies arent up to thier necks in conspiracies right? If you know your history the oil companies paid off congress in the 1940’s to get rid of steam/electric so the municipalities would buy thier stinking deisel fuel. Thank you standard oil what a wonderfull world we’ve created. Plenty of chemical cocktails for everyone.Get your bezene,MBTE. Deisel engines were made to run on peanut oil if you didnt know but after Standard Oil had Deisel killed floating in a river then the patents ended up with Standard now they all use fossil fuel. That crap is buried 5 miles below the earth for a reason…because its toxic.
